Ch.10

Em and Dar are in their rooms finishing with their make-up. I really want to talk to Remus about his thinking he is not good enough for someone. There is no way I can get to him without Kyle thinking I'm up to something. I;m trying to think of how to get him to talk to me.

"Lola!" I yell and within a few seconds Lola is here

"Miss called for me? Does she need help getting dressed?''

"No Lola I need you to go get Remus I really need to talk to him before the party."

"Oh yes Miss right away." then I hear a little pop and she is gone

While Lola is off getting Remus for me, I go and sit down on the stool in front of the mirror. I'm trying to gather my thoughts on how to talk to Remus. I might as well tell he is an idiot for thinking he is not good for anyone. Remus knocks on the door even though it is open. I look over at him and smile, wow he cleans up good, then again, most guys do.

"Hey Lils, whats going on that you needed to talk to me now? By the way you look lovely, that green dress looks amazing on you."

I Smle at him "Thank you Remus, you look very handsome. Well I need to talk about...well there is this girl and she likes you. Only thing is she is worried to make a move cause she is scared you will turn her down."

He looks at me with knowing eyes and he is giving me a smile "Lils who is this girl of which you speak of?"

Now it's my turn to stumble. I clear my through and I start to pat my hair down, and smooth my dress out "Uhh well I can't tell you that. I promised her that I wouldn't tell."

He laughs and shakes his head at me, he goes and sits on my bed "It's Emma isn't it?"

"How you know?!" I yell

"Well she has flirted with me, and I'm sad to admit that I've flirted back."

"Well ask her out, she will say to you."

"Lils, it's not that simple...there are other things I have to consider."

I drop my mouth open trying to come up with something to say. What other things are there to consider? She likes him, he likes her sounds as simple as you can get. Is there another girl in the picture that he likes? Or is it he is just being difficult like James says he is. I look over at him, he has his head in his hands. He is mumbling something it sounds like he is having a debate with himself. What in the world is going on.

"Remus, James told me you don't think your good enough but that is so stupid you know it is!"

"No Lily it's not that."

"Then why?! You have to have a reason!"

This time he gets up and starts pacing the room, I hear some mumbling coming from him but none of it make sense to me. I can see that he is having some type of battle going on within himself, he wants to tell me something but at the same time he doesn't. I just sit there watching him waiting for him to make a choice, after a while I'm getting a little frustrated with his pacing and talking to himself. Right when I'm about to say something, he yells for Lola, he tell her to go get James, Sirius and Peter. He starts to pace and mumble again. Why in the world does he want the other three here when we are talking about him and Emma, I mean I know they are best friends, but I figure he could make a choice about going out with her on his own. James, Sirius and Peter arrive, Remus pulls them over to a conoer and they are talking so low I can't he one word.

"Moony, it's time to let Lily know about you furry little problem. She won't leave, we didn't and she defiantly wont." says James with the most serious face I've ever seen on him

"Prongs is right, we can trust her, you know it Moony, everyone here knows she wont freak or anything." says Sirius

Remus gives out a long, heavy sigh, as Peter is shaking his head in agreement. They look over at me and go and sit on my bed. I'm a little scared about what they are about to say. They all have these worried/serious faces on. Remus clears his through

"Lily it is time I share my secret with you, all I ask is you don't intrupt me, it's a pretty long story and I want to start from the being." say Remus

"Alright Remus what is it?"

"It happen when I was little, I was playing outside. It was dark but the full moon was so bright, my mother agreed to let me play for a little longer. I went over to the bushes to grab my toy, next thing I know the animal is chasing me, I scream and scream trying to find somewhere to hide cause I'm so far away from the house. Well I trip over my toy broom, and the thing bites me. Turns out the animal was a werewolf by the name of Greyback, and Greyback had a grudge or something against my father. Well I was still screaming and crying in pain from the bite, my parents rush out, when my father see the bite he knew right away what happen. They rushed me to St. Mugo's but there is no cure for someone who gets bit, they helped with the pain. I healed from the bite, most people don't, I was lucky in that way but next month at the full moon I made the transformation into a werewolf. My parents thought I'd never be accepted into Hogwarts, but Dumbledore, came and personally delivered my letter. My parents and I were confussed, we kept asking him is he sure, he said he is setting up safe measures for me. So the Womping Willow was planted, to go to the shrieking shake, every month Madame Pompery takes me there so I can transform in a safe enviroment."

I shrug my shoulder big deal Remus is a werewolf, that doesn't change who he is "Alright but where do you three come in?" I ask the other boys

"Well we found out, Remus kept coming up with these lame excuses of why he went missing once a month in the middle of the night." says Sirius

"We eventually started to put the pieces together, we went to him and told him we know what he is. Well I asked Remus if he is a dangers to other animals when he is in that form. He said no he is not, so I had the great idea of having us turn into animals as well."

"It was not your idea, it was mine!" yells Sirius

"Oh Padfoot shut up you know it was Prongs idea!" yells Remus

"Anyways it took us until our thrid year to be able to change."

"Your saying you three..." I point at them "are anigumas?"

"Yha pretty much."

"That's really dangourse!"

"Lils Remus wasn't for it, but he knew we would do it no matter what. So do you want to see what we transform into?" ask James, I nodded my head and wait for the three to do the transformation "Peter you're the smallest show her your form first."

He comes over to me and gives me a little smile, he closes his eyes, and the next moment I see a rat where Peter was standing. He transform back and next goes Sirius, he smiles at me also, and a few moments later he is a dog. He trots over to me and nudges my hand, I pat his head, he starts wagging his tail. I start laughing, now it's James turn. He is still laughing at Sirius and I am guessing my expression. He gives a little bow and he transform into a stag. After he transform back, they give me an explanation about why the turn into what they do. Wormtail transform into a rat for when Remus is about to do something risky, he can get on his back and bite him. Sirius and James push him away in the situations, for the are the bigger. I look at them all, trying to wrap my mind around all of this. Remus is a werewolf and James. Peter and Sirius are animgus. So Snape was right, well almost, I shake my head and laugh. This is all so funny to me, I know it shouldn't be but it is.

"Well alright but what does all this have to do with Em?"

They all look at me in shock "Your not freaked out Lils?" say Remus

"No, I just want to know why you wont go out with anyone?"

"If I do and she were to find out, she'd freak and leave."

I start to say something but I get cut off by James, Sirius and Peter. Every time I try to get a word in, I keep getting cut off. I'm starting to get mad at them, I go and sit on my stool and wait until I can get a word in. I look at the clock we have a half hour until the party is suppose to start. I try again to get a word in but I get cut off my Sirius

"Ohy Remus you are being such a part. 'I can't date cause I'm a werewolf' Like really that is the lamest excuse ever you prat!"

Now I've had enough, how dare Sirius say that when he is refusing to ask a girl out cause he wants to keep up his player image. This time I speak up and I cut Remus off. "How dare you Sirius Black call him a prat for not asking Em out! At least his reasoning is some what understandable, unlike yours! You refuse to ask at Dar out when you know she likes you and you like her! All because you want to keep up the player image! Your such a..." I can't think of the right word or words to use James suggested arrogant toerag "Yes thank you! You are an arrogant toerag Black!"

Sirius and Remus just look at me in shock, and Peter gives out a litle whimper. He has never been good with people yelling, James is trying to hold back a laugh which earns him a scold but then I give him a help out here look. HE clears his throught and runs his hand through his hair, now it's my turn to stifle a laugh.

"She right guy, Remus we aren't saying marry the girl, we just want you too give it a shot. Take it day by day see how things play out, and who knows she might be okay with your furry little problem. Sirius the player image was cool before but we do need to grow up man. I mean come on a girl worth dating for everyone."

Sirius, Peter and Remus leave trying to figure out what just happen back there, as am I "Well not how we planned on getting them together, but at least they will. Good job Evans!" say James as he is laughing. I sit on my bed a laugh to, at least it worked.
