I think, all of my chapters in this story filled with the "apologizing" from me, because I updated very long. I feel bad. I'm sorry guys, I wish I can update faster too, but in fact I was busy with my school life and I had an author block, kinda blocked me to write an update. Really, I'm sorry to all the readers and all the reviewers. Let's just say that my plans to make this story up to about 30 chapters must be cancelled due my lack of updating and my brain. Please forgive me readers.
But don't worry! This chapter isn't the last chapter! Now that I have a sudden urge to write an update, the idea kind of rush to my brain plus, I have a free time now, so why not? So please enjoy this chapter and I hope you guys like it! Oh and this is the REAL chapter 9, the last chapter is the part 2 of chapter 8, got it?

Chapter 9
Mikan's POV
After now we're officially becomes a couple, I knew Natsume better. Natsume is a sweet and protective boyfriend like every girls dreamed of and I felt grateful we had mutual feelings. Natsume is actually a 20 years old man and he already worked and became a CEO in such a young age. He is a successful business man. He always came to my part time's place to just hang out or simply talked to me and after that, he took me home. Mom became so ecstatic when she found out the news, she cried in happiness and hugged Natsume like there's no tomorrow. At least, now that I made my mom happy, I already felt contented.
"Mikan, are you ready?" Natsume voice rang, woke me up in my trance. I nodded. This is it. When the doctor released the bandages on my eyes, I'll see what my Natsume looks like. I'll see my mom looks like. I'll see what this room looks like. I'll see the doctor and the nurse who kindly helping me through the whole times of operation. I'll see myself on the mirror, no more became a burden to everyone, no more the blind girl. Finally, I'll see the world!
"Mikan-chan. Open your eyes slowly and tell me how do you feel?" the doctor gently instructed me. I slowly opened my eyes and blinked a few times. I adjusted a new lights that rushed to my eyes and in the blurry condition, there.. I saw a handsome-tall man with a messy-short-black hair and piercing-crimson's orbs. Beside him, there is a medium-height woman around her thirties with a short-brunette hair. They had the worried expression and they all looked at me. I blinked some more and when my view's finally clear, tears brimmed in my eyes.
"M-mom.. Natsume!" I smiled excitedly even though my tears running down on my cheeks, they sighed relieved and my mother ran to hug me. She cried on my shoulder.
"Mi-Mikan! I'm so happy! I love you honey, I know you can went through the operation! You finally can see me, this is your dreams right? Oh my lovely daughter!" She cried. I patted her back despite my weak effort because my hands shook uncontrollably. I looked at Natsume who grinned at me and patted my head after my mom released me. I blushed harder. I never knew I dated such great man. He is too handsome! Dangerously handsome! Maybe because Natsume looked at my face, he chuckled and hugged me.
"I'm so glad you've made it, I knew you can do it Polka!" I smiled at his remark. This is my boyfriend alright. We broke the hug when we heard the doctor coughed and my mom and the nurse giggled at us. I blushed and robotically released Natsume while Natsume just grunted.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your moments but, I want to ask Mikan-chan's condition for the report. So Mikan-chan. Do you feel dizzy? Can you see us clearly? Or are you hurt somewhere?"I smiled at the blond doctor and shook my head. The doctor smiled kindly at me and patted my head.
"Then you'll be fine. We just need monitoring you a little bit more and after that, you can go home as soon as possible. congratulations and be happy with your new life Mikan-chan!" The pretty nurse beside him also smiled warmly at me and congratulated me.
"Ano, Th-thank you..for everything" I told the doctor the nurse and they replied me with smile and then walked out of the room. After they left, my mother hugged me again and patted my hair.
"I'm so glad honey, I really am.." I smiled. My mother then broke the hug and looked at Natsume who watched us but her hands never left me.
"Natsume-kun.. Thank you so much.. I'm so glad my daughter chose a good man like you.. Thank you" She smiled gratefully to him. I blushed and looked at Natsume. Natsume who shocked at first instantly smiled politely to her.
"I'm also glad I met your daughter and then fell in love hopelessly with her. I must be the one who thank you" I blushed at his words and my mother ran to hugged him. Natsume froze at first but then he raised his hands and patted her back gently. The looks in eyes pleaded me to help him from my mom's deathly grip and I just giggled at that.
"Mom, you'll kill him if you hug him anymore longer." I giggled. My mother broke the hug instantly and smiled sheepishly to him.
"Gomen ne Natsume-kun. I've too caught in the feelings." Natsume just shook his head and smiled at her.
"Well then, I leave you both alone now. Mikan, don't be late to go home okay? And Natsume-kun?" Natsume looked at her.
"Just be careful" She winked at him while I looked questionably at her. After she shut the door, silence engulfed us.
"What did she mean by that?" I looked at him. Natsume just merely shook his head and sat on the bed with me. He hugged me and sighed gently on my head. I blushed.
"Na-Natsume?"
"I love you" I blushed even more. Shakily, my hand hugged him back and mumbled on his broad chest.
"I.. I love you too.." He kissed my head and still hugged me. I smiled and secretly, feeling the bubble of happiness bloomed in my heart. Natsume's cologne really comforted me and I could sleep in his strong arms without worrying anything.
"Ne, Natsume?"
"Hm?" I released the hug and smiled sweetly at him.
"Thank you.. for everything.. " He widen his eyes and suddenly kissed me passionately. After we broke the kiss, to catch our breath, he said
"Really, how can you make me feeling this way?" he mumbled on my shoulder.
"What was that?"
"Nothing" He said flatly. Suddenly he raised his head smirked at me.
"Polka, let's date."
"Miss you can come out now!" The voice of a woman around her thirties called me from outside the curtain. I sighed embarrassed and slowly came out. I blushed and slowly looked at Natsume. He seems surprised at my attire and smirked.
"How do I look?" I personally loved my dress. It's so simple yet elegant. It a milky white sleeveless dress that reached my thigh and there's a belt with shiny pearls decorated the belt. I wore 3 inches milky white stilettos. For my hair, I let my soft-long-brown hairs down and it curls naturally at the tip of it. Natsume stood up and paid the owner of this boutique. Oh,yeah. After we left the hospital, Natsume took me to the salon and then the luxurious boutique which those rich people usually came. Because it's still daylight, I chose comfortable and simple attire which Natsume agreed on. He held my hand and took me out from the store. We walked to his expensive car which made me so surprised in the first time I saw it. I think Natsume said it's called Lamborgini. Natsume teased my expressions which I found it annoying.
"Where are we going Natsume?" I asked him as soon as the car moving. Natsume still looking on the road, just smirked.
"You'll see" I rolled my eyes and decided to look around. I saw a tall building with modern architecture, and there's a beautiful park in the middle of the town. I gawked with the new environments around me. I'm so happy to finally see this world. Oh wait, I think I forgot something. I racked my brain to find something that I forgot.
"AH! HOTARU!"
"What the-!" My sudden shout surprised Natsume and he fortunately could avoid the car that moved in front of us.
"What the hell Polka! What did you shout suddenly!" Natsume yelled at me. I smiled sheepishly at him.
"I'm sorry.. I just remembered something important. I forgot to tell Hotaru after my operation." Natsume had met Hotaru before, and somehow.. at that time, I felt uncomfortable aura at that time, when I still blind at that time. I asked Natsume what happened but Natsume just said it was nothing to me. And when I asked Hotaru, Hotaru said she found Natsume as a nice guy. I looked at Natsume and he just rolled his eyes. I rummaged my handbag that Natsume bought me earlier. After I found my phone, I pressed number 2. Oh and by the way, Natsume's number was already in my phone and his number's fast calling is 6.
RING…. RING…
"WHY DO YOU CALL ME NOW?! DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU MADE ME SO WORRIED? WHAT MADE YOU LATE!" I heard Hotaru's yelling through the phone, I put the phone far away from my ear otherwise, I'll turned deaf if I kept hearing her voice.
"Hotaru.. I'm sorry I forgot to call you as soon as the operation finished. You know, the operation was success. I finally can see you Hotaru!" I giggled. Through the line, I knew that Hotaru is smiling now. She sighed.
"Ba-ka.. Congratulations. Where are you now?"
"I.. I'm with Natsume now, he took me for a d-date.." I blushed.
"Oh really? Is The guy beside you now? Give your phone to him now" She instructed me. Though I confused I gave my phone to Natsume who still driving.
"What?"
"Ano.. hotaru wanted to talk to you" He sighed and took my phone.
"Imai" He said shortly. I wanted to know what they are talking about so I leaned closer to Natsume. But my effort was useless anyway, I couldn't hear anything.
"hn." He said after a long time and he ended the call and gave my phone back. I sat back on my chair.
"What were you two talking about?" He shrugged. I pouted at his attitude. But nevertheless, I waved the topic away.
"Natsumeee, where are we going actually?" I asked him after a long time. Then Natsume parked his car in the parking lot. He suddenly looked at me and smirked.
"Polka, we're in the amusement park."

So how was it? I did my best and I made Natsume and Mikan moment here! And Mikan is finally cured! Yeyy! Next mission, finding Mikan's father! And I'm sorry again, if you found this story somewhat rushed, I'll do better next time and my wrong grammars! I'll try harder hahaha
