Guest: your review comments section is longer than the chapter. You need to fix this, or don't post something this short. It is a real problem.

00Zero: I'm not sure if you will read this, but just in case I put it up here so you can see. This story calls "SHORT And Sweet" for a reason. It meant to be short. There's never a rule of how long the story has to be. I enjoy trying to write a story as short as possible; the shortest I've written is 55 words.

This story WILL HAVE SHORTS CHAPTERS. If you don't like it then maybe it doesn't suit you because I will write how I want to write.

As for the comment section, just because the story is short, doesn't mean I would ignore all the reviews. Readers took their time to reviews so I took my time to answer. Unless they don't want me to.

Since we are here, I will ask all the readers if you want me to reply to your reviews. If not than I would stop. I enjoyed reading and replying to them even though it could take up to 45 extra minutes or more to respond depending on how many reviews I receive. Please let me know what you want.

Here, as require by Guest, the second part of chapter 9. ^^

PS. I will keep this story to 15 chapters and will see what happen from there.

Just want to whine a bit; it has been a long day for me and I'm beat. So many things got on my nerves today. Sigh… Alright I'm done venting, enjoy the story. I might go to bed early. ^^

Sesshomaru had come to visit his ward, Rin. It had been nearly a month since he had last seen her.

When he reached the edge of the village, he picked up her scent leading toward the field where she often goes to pick up herbs. He followed her.

Standing in the mist of greenery of the meadow was his ward, now a young woman. He walked with his calculative and graceful strides, shorten their distance. His movements were elegant and stealthy.

"I love you," he heard her soft voice, making him paused in his step. He was right behind her.

Her voice filled with so much warmth, wanted, nervousness, and anticipation.

But who was she talking to-he wondered.

He looked around but found no one. He did not sense another scent around either. He always trusted his nose.

"I've been in love with you for the longest of time," he could feel her heart raced, could imagine the sparkle in her soft, loving, doe-like eyes looking at her… lover.

But who was this invisible man she loved? Was he a demon Sesshomaru could not see?

The question was eating him.

She was talking to someone!

"Would you considering me worthy enough to stand by your side…and be… your wife?"

Sesshomaru felt tensed, stood rigid behind Rin. There was this dreadful feelings stirring inside his stomach. He felt as if a hand gasped tight around his cold heart.

I see, he thought inwardly. She had already decided to not return with him. He had yet offered her the choices, but she already took her picked. She would marry this worthless man and stay in the village.

Sesshomaru didn't like it.

But nothing could prepare him for what he was about to hear.

"Lord Sesshomaru?"

His eyes widened in surprised. His mouth opened slightly a few millimeters. But it was gone as soon as it came and replaced with his usual stoic expression on handsome face.

Rin was… in love… with him?

He watched the young woman covered her face in embracement and giggled lightly. Such whimsical sound, he mused.

He watched the girl turned around then froze in place. Her eyes were enlarge greatly as if they were about to jump out of their sockets. Her mouth formed into an O shape, a gasp escaped her soft lips.

He found her… adorable.

"Did you…hear that? ...Lord Sesshomaru?" Rin gulped.

He watched her cheeks turning from light pink to bright red. Her heart race increased cursing through her veins. She seemed to forget how to breathe.

He could watch her all day, he realized. Such endearing sight.

But he knew if he did not do something soon, she would faint from anxiety and excitement. He nodded.

Rin gulped.

Sesshomaru turned on his heels, expected the girl to follow. He soon realized that Rin was still in shock and might want to know his answer to her confession.

"To your question…" he paused. Rin waited, holding her breath. The wind gently blew sending their hairs and clothes dancing. "This Sesshomaru has yet found the answer." And with that, he started walking again.

Rin let out the breath she had been holding, glad that she was not outright rejected as she had fear. He didn't seem angry and that was a good sign.

And for Sesshomaru, he would have a lot of thinking to do.

But one thing for sure, he was glad that Rin would not marry another man.

I would end it here since Sesshomaru has not known about Rin's feelings and he didn't know about his own yet, it would take sometimes for him to realize. :D It would be unrealistic for him to accept it right away. :3

PAMILA DE CASTRO: Thanks. I love this very sweet Rin too :D

Cpsullivan2: Thanks for the many reviews. As for chapter 6, I hope you've read my PMed. I had been wondering too why Inuyasha doesn't wear shoes. Maybe because he grew up wildly and alone? For the conversation about how baby was made, it won't be fun if Sesshy told her so in the beginning XDD after all he was full of knowledge. And you should have your answer for chapter nine now :D

Dina Sana: Thanks. :D I loved a good laugh.

Red4Angel: Lol, I might faint in that situation. Thanks for answer my request.

Guest: Thanks :D I will write a lot more of them if my brain allow :D

Rinshy: It just felt right to end there. That's story came to mind when I was in bed and just decided to write it down before I forgot it :D

Icegirljenni: Fanfic did that sometimes which could be annoying. Thanks for letting me know. And now that we know Sesshy's side of story, I hope you liked it :D

Guest: Here's as you've require :D

Taraah36: Hope this chapter answered your question :D

Lp: Lol, the idea just came to me when I was about to sleep and decided to write it down before I forgot. I thought it would be fun :D

KannaMensyan: Thanks for the reviews. I'm glad you liked those to chapters :D
