chapter 10
They talked for a while before ruby eventually said "yeah sapphire got a call from dimond, she basically said that if she wanted to die so badly she could have called her. I had a panic attack from it when it ended and I passed out, when I woke up sapphire was on the phone with you." James nodded looking at sapphire starting to fall asleep in the tall girls arms, james smiled softly before softly saying "thanks for being there for her ruby" ruby looked down at sapphire sleeping in her lap resting her head on rubys chest. ruby rubbed her back making her wake up slightly and yawn before looking up at her and back at her dad. James watched sapphire put her head back on rubys chest falling asleep again "damn, I'm so glad she's still alive" ruby nodded and put her arms around sapphire again the small girl waking up and standing up before running into the bathroom to throw up. Ruby stood up and looked at james "look I hate to say this but would you be willing to leave, after sapphire throws up she's going to be crying for a little bit." James nodded and grabbed his coat before giving ruby a hug and leaving, ruby walked into the bathroom and sat down next to sapphire just as she finished throwing up and fell into rubys arms letting the tears fall down her cheeks "I-I'm sorry" ruby shook her head kissing sapphires four head mumbling "it's ok baby, lets just lay down" sapphire nodded and let ruby carry her small form to the bed placing her on the bed before sitting next to her in the seat that she had pulled out for james, ruby waited for sapphire to fall asleep before she let herself cry. She silently cried staying quiet for sapphires sake. Eventually she noticed sapphire waking up she quickly whipped her tears away before she smiled softly not realizing sapphire could tell that she was crying "ruby where you crying?" ruby looked to the side "yeah, but I'm fine baby. don't worry, just go back to sleep" sapphire nodded and puled her close getting her to sit in the bed, sapphire climbed into her lap and made her look at her "ruby what's wrong?" ruby sighed "it's nothing baby, I am just worried about you and I'm starting to think that you might be pregnant, you've been throwing up a lot especially in the morning. What if you're actually pregnant sapph? What will your dad think?" sapphire sighed and though about it "what would justin think?" ruby looked at her "wait who's justin?" sapphire chuckled "oh it's my brother. He's been in collage while we where in school and he just got out about a month ago , he's wanting to come back home soon but he's living in Canada with his friends right now" ruby nodded slightly relieved "sapph, does your brother know your gay?" sapphire blushed it giving her answer away ruby nodded and held sapphire close calming down "we have to think about this, I mean I know we can get through having a kid together but we're still in high school and I don't feel right having an abortion" sapphire nodded leaning into ruby "if this is a thing we're not going to get an abortion, we'll get through high school and eventually be able to move out. We'll be able to get through all of it" ruby nodded kissing her four head "I love you sapph" sapphire smiled softly "when would we be able to go home, I don't like being in the hospital and honestly u just want to go home" ruby nodded "probably in the next day or so, we've been in here for almost a week now" sapphire nodded and yawned getting comfortable with ruby laying down falling asleep quickly being held in the athletes arms.
