"Cassie, you're my best friend. And friends back up each other. Sooo... can you and Jin just give me and Takeda some little time together? Please?" Jacqui said not-too-sweetly because she knows what will be the answer but she still attempted it.
"Ha ha. Nope." Cassie said with a smirk. "You can't sweet-talk me like we're in high school, girl."
Takeda just sighs in resignation, while Jin crossed his arms and is pissed off.
Here they are, trapped in Cassie's ideas: doing a double date in Lover's Lane, sitting on the grass and under the shade of a tree while watching the sunset; keeping the real dating couple separated with a sitting arrangement of Jacqui, Cassie, Jin and Takeda.
Jacqui just raises her hands in exasperation. "I knew it. Why should I bother trying anyway." then harrumphs in annoyance as Cassie just laughs in her face.
Jin sighs in annoyance, on which Cassie turns her head to tell him, "Hey. No temper tantrum in this mission."
On which Jin retaliates. "Mission? Bah! If it wasn't for Briggs' father and your mother, I wouldn't be in this situation." he said to her face. "Let them have their date in peace. They're adults, not teenagers."
"Hah! Can't do that. This date is still a mission."
"A nonsense mission that is a waste of time. You can just watch over them yourself, Cage. And I'll just be on my way."
"Nuh-uh, Jin. This is a team-based mission, not individual. And we're a team. Since this is a mission assigned to us, we need to stick together. Copy that?"
"A mission that you poorly lead then because I'm dying right now. Of boredom!"
"If you're dying because of boredom, then your training with the Shaolin monks are lacking."
"And your decision-making is so poor, you need to go back to school. Where did they teach you by the way? In a place called Nowhere?"
Takeda catches Jacqui's eyes while Cassie and Jin are still quarreling. With a gleam in his eyes, Takeda slowly raises his palm without touching the back of Jin's head.
Jacqui caught on with what Takeda is planning, she has to bite her lip from laughing. She also imitates what Takeda is doing, her palm near Cassie's head. With her other hand, she shows Takeda three fingers and started to count down.
Cassie and Jin are still unaware of what the real daters are about to do, still focused on their quarrel.
"Shaolin punk!"
"Military grunt!"
On three, Takeda and Jacqui pushes their counterpart's head with their palms.
There was a loud smack. Cassie and Jin's reaction of shock turns to confusion, then to horror. They quickly turn their heads away from each other.
Cassie feels like crying. "O.M.G! *bleaah!*"
Jin is wiping his mouth with his sleeve. "*pooey* *pooey*"
Takeda and Jacqui are already on their feet and a bit far from Cassie and Jin, laughing their asses off.
Takeda winks at Jacqui before doing his taunt. "JIN AND CASSIE, SITTING ON A TREE!"
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Jacqui continues.
Takeda and Jacqui are still laughing as they are chased by the furious Jin and Cassie.
