*Hey guys! I am typing this before I write the chapter so I can give you more thoughts. 1) I really hope this goes well! Lol. That's just about it. I am trying my best to get Kyoya's attitude and personality down, and it's really difficult for me. But hey, I hope you like it! Don't forget to comment and spread the word!

Kyoya's POV

The man strode in with a tall outstanding pride, obviously owning up to the Sohma family name, and in a bright white lab coat. The cuffs were rolled back to his wrists; the long black pants drug down to his shiny black shoes hiding his socks. His short, cramped bangs waved down one side of his face covering his left eye while the rest remained down stretching to mid neck. Without a sound he walked over to us with his purple eyes staying on target with the rest of the Sohmas'. When I tried to get a good look all I could see were more layers of pure black.

His expression was bland for the most part, and his briefcase didn't trail in the slightest as he walked. With a soft spoken voice, but very lucid, he greeted us with simplicity at its best. I wouldn't have suspected any less from such a highly trained practitioner.

My father had once cunningly mentioned this family several years back, and, from what I can instantly recall, most of it was for the replacement of traditional home style doors. I also can remember suddenly thinking to myself how there must have been someone within the abnormal household with an substantial, unsettled persona of some sort.

After seeing the mess that boy easily left yesterday I now understand why. The way he carries himself shows no true confidence or fortitude-His eyes show absolute chaos. With the way Kyo Sohma and the others interact with one another, it seems to be a consistency aberrant from normal antics of their ages.

Every time I get to subsequently meet someone new in this strange family I get even more intrigued. They obviously seem to stick to themselves faithfully. Now all I need to know is why.

Yuki Sohma introduced us to him by the name of Sohma, Hatori. He obviously lived at the main house along with everyone else. I thought once about bringing up their location of living, seeing that it was coincidentally not in my files, and he bypassed it completely without hesitation. I watched closely as the girl, Tohru, tensed up with a small and short goofy smile on her face.

" , it's a pleasure to meet you." I said instinctively extending out my open right hand. He took it with one shake before opening up his dark brown, medium sized case on the table before us. When glancing, it was full with all sorts of expensive medical replenishments. I noticed him take out a thin needle and fill it with a fuzzy liquid like thick, sugared water. Glancing over I suddenly saw Joceline's eyes dry up and tense in fright. I opened my black clipboard and quickly turned to her profile page and added, 'Aichmophobia.' Fear of needles.

Honey came hopping into the room as as usual with Mori carrying him like always. In his green shorts and black tank top he landed on his feet with a light giggle. His feet were covered with black flip flops, and it had the twins' mother's name engraved on the strap above the toe. He rushed over to Hatori. "Hello, ; sorry for being late!"

The man instantly drew back a step at his loud and sudden outburst, but then calmly recomposed himself with an exhale. "Hello, I am Hatori Sohma, and you are?"

"I'm Mitsukuni Haninozuka!" He eagerly stated, and I uneasily pushed up my sagging glasses. "But you can call me Honey!"

I assumed, him being of high standards, that he would make a calm yet snide remark on Honey's "over-friendliness." But it didn't seem to bother him. His face held as his eyes opened up but a millimeter. I wrote down what I could, and saw the little boy from the Sohma's group gleefully run up and tackle hug him.

There were several similar traits of the two, but Honey happened to love fighting and candy, while the other seemed to be more optimistic and against any type of confrontation or violence. But again, they both loved to I questionably talk and got way to excited when seeing mingling people around. 'If only we had the funds to expand the club.'

"Hey, Hari!" Momiji shouted happily as the man, politely non of the less, carefully pried him off. The boy immediately glanced back up at him, "Oh, Hari, you're no fun."

Yuki regained the mans attention and then began to show him Joceline's leg. I took notice that Haruhi and Tohru were there beside her; I found it quite interesting how the three just seemed to fit. Especially Haruhi. Later I would have to look up their personalities to see some explanation. It will be nice to see how the stars and zodiac compare with true results. I hardly ever get to look at the abnormal side of science.

"It's nice to meet you ." Joceline said as Haruhi instantly mimicked. Tohru easily laughed it off with a bright smile.

"Hello, Hatori. I am glad that you made it!"

He seemed to ignore her, as if he was used to it, and got straight to the point. 'I wonder if all Sohma's are like that.' If they are, then that simply explains why my father spoke so highly of them. The grey haired boy, Yuki Sohma, looks like a natural born leader, while the others look like decent assistants or small carry on bags. Especially the one called, Kyo.

"It doesn't look too bad." The doctor finally stated after pulling off the wearing off bandaid. "The poison hasn't gotten too far."

Tohru froze in shock and placed her hands above the small ears on her brown head. "What! The spider was poisoness?" I took note of her overreacting tendencies.

'Someone really needs to inform her on the manners of a true lady.' When I looked away I noticed Kyo giving me quite the "evil-eye." His nose was scrunched in distrust with what looked like a hint of raging anger. It didn't take much to see what was going on there, and I also added that to the beasts profile as well. Tamaki would surely find it interesting. It was, after all, within his line of work.

calmly spoke while getting the needle and vaccine ready. "Yes, but one dose of antibiotics should take care of it. Once that's done, I will have to give her some prescription pills as well to keep the swelling at bay until it heals."

Joceline took several seconds to calm herself before bracing her leg for the injection. I watched her hands recoil and clench into white fists. She was truly and utterly terrified, and it took Haruhi and Tohru both to calm her shaking down enough so she could hold her leg still. It made me strangely wonder what she did when she got her school issues exam shots.

Tamaki appeared soon after, and right on time, just as the needle was plucked back out. She gladly sucked in a relaxing breath before taking his big right hand that was offered to help her up. Steadying herself she smiled and thanked him brightly heading back to her old self. After returning the favor he handed her a flower from the garden out from the game room. In her tiny hands was an orange cosmos flower From the Asteraceae family. I lightly smirked, knowing all too well how we must keep our lovely guests happy. After all, not only were we getting paid for vacation but we were also getting paid to take one, simple-minded person along with us. Later, I would surely take advantage of it for the school festival.

"My princess..." He declared, handing her the large, patterned flower. She smiled somewhat awkwardly. Taking in the scent she admired it up close for a second.

"Thank you, Tamaki." She said in awe. "But you didn't have to-"

"Anything for a guest, my dear."

I glanced over once to see Yuki quickly roll his eyes before thanking Mr. Sohma for coming on such a short notice. When Joceline asked for the bill, he gave her a pleasant stare. "That won't be necessary. Just get better quickly so you can still enjoy your visit." After that he stalked out towards the door leaving most of us speechless.

'He had turned down money; his own pay.'

Tohru smiled with a tall, big wave of the hand, "Bye Hatori!" And he returned the gallant smile.

"Goodbye, Tohru."

Third Person POV

After he left, the King uttered a small sigh. It was his guest who had caused the trouble after all, and they should have been watching her closer. It was their responsibility to make sure that she had the time of her life and decided to stay before her plane left for America. Momiji interrupted his thoughts with a happy shout.

"Hey guys, we should all go hiking on the trail today!" When his short and forward sentence had finished, Honey immediately replied with a laugh and a big thumbs up. Mori mimicked with one hand.

Kyoya still had his clipboard in hand, and was still running through some last minute items. He wasn't really excited about the whole idea. Nature had no appeal to him. He had other interests that didn't involve fighting the bugs for comfort and nature that already surrounded everyone and the hot spring. With end of the year school finances and grades on the brain, he could hardly think about anything else.

So after the big breakfast, everyone decided to get dressed and head out early. Tohru, Haruhi, and Joceline had all went to fix themselves up and mostly prayed that the mountains would go easy on them. Haruhi had stupidly forgotten to bring tennis shoes and to even pack them in after her dad nervously raided her zipped bag. Closing the case back shut she let out a long sigh before slipping on her old, worn flip flops back on.

They were a little small after five years of being worn, and they had already worn off the multicolor poka-dots that once covered every centimeter aimlessly. Her right pinky toe almost slipped completely off, and her heels hung over the end he just barely. There came a knock at the thin door, and she blinked once as Hikaru reluctantly washed on in. Kaoru wasn't trailing in behind him, which placed him in an awkward front for conversation knowing that his twin always started them in the first place. They were normally inseparable- Every since birth, actually.

"Hey, Haruhi?" He said in a questionable tone. She slowly stood up on her feet and carelessly brushed herself off. Using her right hand she tossed her hair out of her face.

"Hey, Hikaru. What's up?" She checked behind him before continuing. "Where's Kaoru?"

For a second, he glanced around the squarish room unsure of what she was talking about, and then he froze. 'She's right.' Kaoru was always with him. There was really no explanation for it, well, other than the fact that Kaoru was pulled aside by Tamaki for a chat.

She quickly waved her hand side to side in front of his face, and his eyes brought him back into reality. "Hikaru?" He shook his head dazed and ran his fingers uneasily through his red hair.

He casually crossed his arms tight, "How should I know? He's always running off lately."

It came out more highly irritated than he actually wanted it too. It was meant to be a cover, not a stupidly put together insult. Although, Haruhi didn't seem to care either way. She just shrugged and began to walk out. She was used to it from him, after knowing the Host Club for over a year. Hikaru grabbed her wrist tightly trying to stop her.

Her tone was unchanged as her gaze simply shifted to their intwined hands. "Hikaru, why are you holding my wrist?"

He took a second to look down and instantly let go. It was a fast decision, but for him it was a stupid one. She hadn't acted like it was wierd, like it was a simple question and nothing more. Her unaware personality helped mask it like the so many times before that. He rubbed the back of his head. "I...ummm..." He stopped short noticing her feet.

"What are you wearing?"

She gazed down at her own two, squished feet. "What do you mean?" The boy looked at her dumbfounded.

"Your shoes. They are flip flops!"

"So, I don't have anything else."

He shook his head. "But they aren't even hiking attire."

"I just told you that I don't have anything else. Besides it's not like I can afford good hiking shoes that I'll never use."

"But you need to use them now." He paused. "And your feet will get sore and blister!"

"This is the one time out of a whole lifetime." She said irritatedly. He held his hands up and sighed in defeat.

She was so stubborn, and it was what he liked about her. She anyways had that distant look in her eyes and an honest opinion on any subject imaginable. That's what Ari had said too, and it unnerved him to think about it. If he hadn't of befriended Ari that one time, then Haruhi would surely have never of forgiven him. But yet again, she one-upped him.

"Alright, alright." He yawned walking out the door, then paused long enough to add, "But Milord won't like it."

She carelessly shrugged, but added a little grin to her lips. She didn't care what Tamaki liked or didn't like. It was her business anyways, and she wasn't about to ask Joceline for a pair when she was her honored guest to begin with. It would be rude and unconsiderate.

Hikaru was gone the next time she looked up, and there was a loud thud in the hallway. Tohru's voice came in clear but had a hint of shakiness to it. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there." There was a laugh, and Haruhi easily knew it as fake. Hikaru then apologized and the footsteps continued on down the hall as Tohru came in cheeks red.

'That girl gets way to nervous.' She thought with a laugh.

"Look, Takashi!" Honey said tugging on the taller boys shoulder.

The two glanced up above their head at a giant butterfly batting it's large wings across the narrow clearing of trees. Honey's hand remained rested on Mori's arm his eyes bright in amazement. The wind blew slowly in short, loose, wisps. Mori replied with a short and steady "Hmmm" grunt implying his amusement.

In the back were the twins who were having fun playfully teasing one another in their usual own little world. Kaoru every once in a while would glance up ahead at the three girls Haruhi, Tohru, and Joceline. They seemed to be having a good time. Although, Joceline was jumping and flinching every time something flew past her line of sight or her ears that seemed to pick up even the slightest sound of a pin drop. When something grazed her leg, she even made a little squeak from deep inside her throat. It made Hikaru laugh quietly to himself on the inside.

But it also gave him and idea.

Tamaki was up ahead chatting with Yuki who found him impulsive and annoying. The kid had no values besides the club and his money stash. 'The same for his friends.' He added silently.

The boy stopped for an intake of air. "Do you smell it, men?" He asked shortly. "That is the smell of nature and life!"

"No shit." Kyo muttered, and Hikaru slithered up quietly behind him as Tamaki ignored his side comment and continued. Kyo hadn't even noticed him come up behind him, and it made Hikaru grin mischievously.

"You hardly get this in the kid center of the city among people of our social standing. So, pay attention to the commoners we will be with for the rest of our vacation. We could learn something!"

Yuki winced in irritation, 'Don't say a word. They will be gone in four more days.'

From behind Kyo, Hikaru shook his finger thrice and made a harsh 'tsk' noise in full intent to annoy, also to tease someone other than Kaoru, and irritate him simply and efficiently. After doing it several times in a row he let out a low chuckle, the sudden noise caused Kyo to jump, him being easily startled, and the hair on his head spiked up. "Language..." He told the stiff, orange haired boy stretching out the word in almost a sing. The boy turned with full force fists up and ready. Hikaru quickly dodged suddenly being replaced with the innocent Kaoru who wanted to join in on the fun.

"Violence..." He shook his head and thew his arm like a sling around the boy. "You really need to relax more."

He threw Kaoru's arm off and shoved him into his slightly surprised twin, "Mind your own business..."

"HEY!" Haruhi called from up ahead. The three looked up at her, and only two were smirking. "You guys, can you just calm down?"

Kyo muttered something before storming off ahead of the group. The twins giggled, but they kept their composure as the league of kids moved on ahead together. All except for Tohru anyways. She quickly left the girls after seeing him trudge on past and told them she would be back later, she then ran off up ahead to walk beside Kyo, and you could hear them begin to mutter back and fourth.

Around this time, Tamaki had fallen behind a bit, but was intrigued at the sight of the two. They seemed to complement each other, and it was the Host Club's job to help this sort of thing. If only he hand Kyoya there taking notes. Of course he could do it for him, but it's wouldn't compare nor be as detailed as his perfected reports.

He then took the chance to look back at Haruhi who had been watching the two as well. Next to her was Joceline, who was looking off in the distance and seemed to be in her own little world. But as the widely aware King paid closer attention, the more worried the facile expression on her became. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Yuki glance in their direction as well, but only for a second before returning his gaze up front. There seemed to be something heavily weighing on his mind.

'It looks like we have a little love triangle that's beginning to form.' He thought to himself with a self-assured smile. Yuki noticed this right away, and thought for a second before walking a bit faster. Sooner or later he was up at the front next to Tohru. Tamaki could hear Kyo's groan from where he stood. The air between the two boys seemed to thinken.

After that, it didn't take the Host Club long enough to see that the whole Sohma group had joined in a huge cluster. Haru had followed suit until he was behind Yuki by several feet, and the youngest,Momiji, seemed to trail right on behind him. They had both followed them all without question. The rest of them had been left to them selves walking slowly quite a ways in back. Honey clung tightly to Mori before climbing up on his shoulder. He tapped the mans shoulder.

"Takashi?"

Mori glanced to his right, "Yes, Mitsukuni?" The boy glanced on up ahead before looking back at him. His eyes held curiosity.

"Those people are really close, aren't they?"

Mori nodded, and they both looked on ahead at the clannish group of teenagers. They reminded the two of their upbringing, and it also reminded them of how everyone in the club was before joining what seemed to be long ago. The twins had cut themselves off from the world since the beginning, and it took a lot out of Tamaki trying to get them to open up. Mori and he had also been the same, only living in the dojo and their houses and seeing the world only when walking to school and back. But Tamaki had brought them together.

"Yeah." Mori finally muttered. Honey got a sad look on his face.

"Do you think Tama-Chan and us can fix them?"

"Who knows..."

Back up a little ways, the twins were whispering ideas to each other. Suddenly one of them tapped Tamaki's shoulder, and they pulled him into a little circle. He was the last one to know about the meeting, which was ironic since he was the Host Club's President.

"Hey boss." Hikaru said getting his full attention. The man loved being called boss. Either that or King. Sometimes he would tell you to call him one or the other, but it switches so much that most people ignore it. "We are calling a meeting once we get back."

"What for?" He asked the two curiously. Kaoru glanced over at his brother.

He took in a breath, "Look, it's not that we want to work. Believe me-This is our vacation." When he nodded, Hikaru finished for him. "We've just been noticing something going on with the Sohma's and our guest."

The King gasped and his eyes lit up, "So I'm not crazy!"

The two looked at him confused, and Tamaki quickly composed himself. "Well, boys, then we will meet once we get back. Let everyone know ASAP."

"No need boss, it's already been taken care of." They chanted in unison. "But we didn't tell Haruhi."

"Good idea. She would serve as a good distraction."

There was the sound of panting as Tohru came jogging over. She looked at everyone and smiled, "Hey, are you guys coming?"

Tamaki glanced at everyone else who nodded and puffed out his chest with his hands on his waist. "You betcha!"

She grinned and walked with them over to where the rest of the Sohma's were waiting. The trail was long and they would probably get back late. They had to make sure to block out time for the meeting though. Kyo eyed them impatiently and thought of a sharp remark.
