Lorelai: Are you awake?
Rory: I am now. Why on earth are you texting me at 1 a.m.?
Lorelai: Luke fell asleep and I'm still awake
Rory: Watch some TV
Lorelai: It's no fun to watch TV alone when you're drunk
Rory: You don't know unless you try
Lorelai: You're no fun
Rory: I'm cranky when I'm woken up in the middle of the night for no reason
Lorelai: You have to have a reason to talk to your mother?
Rory: At one in the morning, yes, I do. And we're not talking, we're texting
Lorelai: I would call, but that would wake up Luke
Rory: So you decided to wake me up instead?
Lorelai: I thought you might still be awake working on a blog or something
Lorelai: And I thought if you were asleep you wouldn't answer a text message
Rory: I was most definitely not still awake
Lorelai: Oops
Rory: Why are you drunk anyway?
Lorelai: Had wine with dinner, then drank dessert apparently I'm a lightweight now
Rory: How's the hotel?
Lorelai: Nice, sleeping on solid ground is good
Rory: Such simple standards
Lorelai: How's the roof red inn
Rory: The Red Roof Inn is tolerable
Lorelai: Are you correcting me
Rory: Maybe
Lorelai: Be happy I'm spelling everything correctly
Rory: I'm guessing autocorrect has a lot to do with that
Lorelai: I have to figure out how to make that dessert drink from tonight
Rory: Unless there's a 24 hour liquor store near you that delivers, I think that will have to wait until morning
Lorelai: It actually tasted like a liquid cinnamon roll, which sounds gross, but it was so good
Rory: Isn't alcohol supposed to make you tired?
Lorelai: It's too bad I'm already in pjs because I bet the bartender is still down at the restaurant
Rory: Just throw on some jeans, you'll be fine
Lorelai: Obviously some sort of cinnamon alcohol but what would make it taste like a roll too?
Rory: Sookie's good with flavors, why don't you call her?
Lorelai: I'd wake up Davy and Martha and then she'd never speak to me again
Rory: Well I'm pretty close to not answering your next phone call
Lorelai: Fine I'll leave you alone go back to sleep
Rory: Thank you
Lorelai: Youre still no fun
Rory: You're leaving out apostrophes now. I think that means it's time for you to go to sleep too
Lorelai: Maybe soon thinking about turning on the tv
Rory: Drink some water before you go to sleep
Lorelai: Thanks mom
Rory: OK going back to bed now
Lorelai: Talk in the morning?
Rory: Yeah
