The group formation was Devin leading with those who are unarmed in the middle. Ed and Kohta were covering the group's sides while Saeko got the rear. Devin and the others walk away from the bus. Devin was leading them to the bridge as they need to cross over to meet Takashi. They continue to walk until Double D spots something in ahead of them.

"Wait look ahead by the blue car." Double D says while pointing at the car.

Devin took a closer look at the car and sees someone. With one more glance he turns around to meet Ed and Kohta.

"Ed goes check it out. Kohta backs Ed up if there something."

Both teens nod as they do to see the person. Ed was the first one to be at the car. He notices someone is leaning against the side of the car. Kohta spots blood on the ground. He warns Ed about it as Ed also looks at the ground. Ed grips his bat tightly as he take another step closer to the person. The person stood up and lunge at Ed. Before the dead person could have touched him; its head was smash against the car window.

Devin and the others look at the two before sighing. Before the group could move on they heard a banging alarm goes off. Ed and Kohta plug their ears as they realize that they trigger the car alarm. Both look at the group while the others were giving them a death glance.

"Damn it Ed, of all the people I should have sent…" before Devin could finish he look around them appear.

With a grunt Devin quickly take out his cub as he looks around the group while Saeko took out her bokken as well.

Eddy was now enjoying the ride as Takashi and Rei are talking again. He wonders could the world be back to normal again until he heard car alarm going off. He looks at Takashi as the latter is slowing down the bike to park near a rail.

Eddy gets off and went to check the noise. He saw them surround a group of survivors as the latter are fighting for their lives. He also notices something about the survivors' choice of clothing. They are wearing the uniforms of his clothes. But the most interesting thing caught his eyes was the older male of the group. His hair was like his but was much wilder. Eddy's eyes widen as he saw the man before.

"Oh shit Takashi come see."

"Eddy what are you…" Takashi walks to meet Eddy's view and his eyes widen as well.

Before Rei could also see their viewpoint as well, the two quickly went back on the bike. Takashi starts to rev the bike up as Eddy and Rei hold on tightly. As the bike begins to take off, Eddy starts to smile.

'About time we found them.' Eddy was thinking of before Takashi takes a sharp turn to his left.

"Hey what did you two find?" ask Rei as she wonders what make the two boys to hurry up.

"Rei we finally found them." Answer Takashi as he speed up the bike to go faster.

Rei smiles as she holds Eddy's chest tightly. Eddy ignores his pervert mind due to him finally could Ed and Double D again.

Devin took another swing at an undead who tries to bites Shizuka. Its head was smash against the cub as blood splats on Devin's face and clothes. Ed manages to take out three of them before going back to defensive mode. Kohta nails down four as Ed takes care the ones that get to close to the gunner. Saeko was the only one to have any trouble as she already took down seven of them without stopping.

Devin notices more of them coming as he makes sure his students were behind him. He look at Saeko and Ed before calling their name.

"Saeko and Ed I need you two take care the ones in front. We need to leave before more show up." Devin says while striking at one who tries to bite him from his left.

The two nods as both of them went in front of the group to make a clear path. Ed saw one of them on the ground playing possum. It was by Saeko's ankle. Before it could take Saeko out by surprise, Ed grabs her in time. Saeko's eyes widen as her face met Ed's chest. Ed while holding Saeko in his arms begins to stomp the dead in it head.

Saeko was still in Ed's arms as she looks at Ed. She begins to coughs to get Ed's attention as the latter was too busy focused on the dead. Ed's eyes widen as he begins to blush.

"Sorry Saeko I forgot about you." Ed says while letting go of her.

"Don't apology Ed-kun. After all you did save me." Saeko says while turning her head away from Ed as a blush was coming to her face.

Before the two could talk anymore they heard a motor coming behind them. It seems like Devin and the rest heard it too as they also look as well. They saw an orange bike with three people on it. From what Saeko could tell the driver hair was brown while the passengers are black and orange. It wasn't until she heard the passenger's voice till she realizes who it is.

"HEY LUMPY YOU BETTER BE OKAY!"

Ed smiles as he give his trademark smile to the now identify Eddy. Saeko smiles as well as she glad Takashi and the rest are okay.

"About time the damn cavalry came." Devin says while smirking as his stress start to calm down a little.

Double D cries a little as he saw Eddy again. Saya cries as well as she saw Takashi and Eddy. The rest of the group either smiles or cries as they saw the trio is alive.

Before the group could have a happy reunite, they have a bigger problem. There were several of them left. Now that Devin have more fighters he grins as he look Takashi. Takashi nods as he drop off Rei by Shizuka and the rest while dropping Eddy by Kohta.

"Kohta catch." Eddy says while tossing the gun that Takashi gives him earlier.

Kota caught it before grinning like a madman. He immediately inspects it as he points it at them. With one fire he manage take out two of them. Eddy looks in fear as he glad that he didn't mess with Kohta at school while the latter is skillfully taking some of them out.

Now that Rei is here Devin could leave the protecting the unarmed to her as he went to help Ed and Saeko. Takashi also proves to be a bigger help in taking care of them as he manages to run some over. Ed and Saeko seem to be in sync as they work together to cover each other. Ed bashes some with his bat while Saeko take care the ones that Ed miss. Devin took care of the last of them as he swings his golf club around.

The group looks at the mess they have caused. In front of them was a bloody mess with several bodies on the ground. Eddy could just shrugs as Devin calls the group attention.

"Alright now that take care of how about we take a breather and rest." Devin says while sitting down on the grass that wasn't cover by blood.

"Oh man you have no idea on how much I want to take a hot shower right now." Saya says while the girls also agree with her.

"Yea I can't wait to see you…" before Eddy could finish Saya turns around to his glance causing him to panic.

"What did you say?"

"Umm …" Eddy could finish; Saya raise her leg up so that her foot connects Eddy's chin.

The rest either laugh or ignore the two. Shizuka begins to speak as she was hoping excitedly.

"Oh I know a place we could stray."

"And that will be?" Kyoko said while looking at her.

"My friend's place. She has a nice view of the city and a tank."

Everybody stares at the blond like she grows another head or something. Double D raises one of his eyebrows in question.

"A tank?"

Shizuka nods as the sock head boy could only just go with it. Devin was now getting tired from the day and the conversation as well. He looks at Shizuka before sighing.

"Alright then we're going to Shizuka friend place for the night or two if we could help ourselves. Takashi you and Shizuka go meet the place on the bike that you have found. Everybody else we are just going to follow them on foot."

Everybody nods or sighs as they get ready to leave. They wave at Takashi and Shizuka once they left to scout for the place. The others simple walk to the destination. After a few minutes they have arrive to the place and could just awe in amazement. Lucky for them they manage to avoid any sight of them.

In front of them was a seven feet wall surrounds the place. The gate was open by Takashi as the group walks inside. They also spot the "tank" that Shizuka say. It wasn't a tank but Kohta say something about a military issue hummer.

With one last glance Eddy grins as he stares at the home for a long time.

"It's about time we could relax for once."

A/N: And that is folk the end of the New World Arc. Now the next few chapters may contain some lemons to it as the group could finally enjoy their selves.
