Chapter 10
Meg woke up to Tom brushing her hair out of her face and she smiled. "Have you got an iron?" She asked, sleepily.
"Sure " Tom replied, pulling the covers off him and standing up. Meg heard him go downstairs and he soon come back with an iron which he handed to her.
In Adam's house he was in the loft and he felt a lump form in his throat when he came across Harry's pram. He walked down the ladder and pulled the string which shut the loft door. He walked down the stairs taking two at a time and he walked in to the living room. Seeing Jessica's tear - stained face he sat beside her, pulling her close, shushing her gently.
"Shush, it's OK " Adam attempted to soothe his pregnant girlfriend as he stroked her hair.
Jessica nodded as she rested her head on Adam's chest, hearing his heart beating. Jessica's phone beeped. She had a message and it was from Meg. Meg and her had fast become friends. She opened it.
Sender: Meg
To: Jessica
Time: 7: 45
'Great party Jess, speak soon'
Jessica replied to the text.
Sender: Jessica
To: Meg
Time: 8: 30.
'Sure'
Back in Tom's apartment Tom was in the shower while Meg was reading a magazine. Tom walked out of the en - suite with a towel wrapped around him and he pulled a face at his girlfriend. Meg laughed at him. He was clowning around and she loved him more for it.
