Chapter 9- A Saiyan Duel.
Sorry I know I was supposed to update sooner, truth is I had two chapters written out and somehow they got deleted and I was so bummed out, but here I am mustering all this energy just for you all! Sorry I am a bit rusty from writing but it'll improve again as I go, and Reading all your wonderful reviews definately motivated me to get on my butt and start writing. Also note it takes me a bit longer because I'm trying to match with the original DBZ time line with their events so I had to rewatch quite a bit D:
but here it is and I will i promise this time to write more often. I'm excited because for a while I was brain dead but I got Ive got my writing muse back and after this chapter or maybe the next, we'll be heading to the Namek Saga. These two lovers have a rocky journey ahead of them!

"How about we try something more saiyan like," Vegeta began to laugh as his hand once again glowed and his tail unwound from his waist. Kakarot furrowed his brows in confusion not quite sure to as what he meant. He was powerless, there's no way his body could handle anything more, he watched curiously as Vegeta threw the large energy ball into the sky. It just hovered in the sky like the moon...
The moon!?
"This move was made by your father, shortly after your death, it gives us the choice of having the power of the moon whenever wherever we'd like! Hah!"
Thump, thump, THUMP.
"No Vegeta stop! I don't know how to control it!''Goku panicked as he felt his heart beat quicken, he was going to transform and he didn't know how to stop it. All he could hear was Vegetas laughter as his mind went blank. His fingers dug into the ground as pain drummed throughout every corner of his body. His tail began to lash viciously and his fists clenched as he let out a terrible roar. His skin began to disappear into thick black fur and his eyes dilated into a deep sea of red. Vegeta continued to laugh on as his own face elongated and body grew with each thud of his heart beat.

"How does it feel Kakarot!" The mighty saiyan prince bellowed as Kakarot was forced to transform into his inner beast Oozaru. The transformation gave him a new surge of power but he had no control of it whatsoever, his mind was blank and all he could feel was the desire to destroy. He rampaged through the canyon with his monstrous jaw open, letting out enormous energy blasts which incinerated all in its path. His ape ears perked up to Vegetas laughter then turned to see the prince merely staring back at him with a large devious smirk.
"Doesn't it feel great Kakarot, to let loose and destroy? its what we always did, we conquered and We could do it again.." The prince waited for an answer but only received a loud snort and a deep growl as a reply. "When was the last time you were able to release your full power? To Train to your full potential! Don't be foolish Kakarot come with me!" The prince growled as he clenched his large gloved hands. But Oozaru Kakarot stood oblivious to his words and let out a thunderous roar before lunging towards him. The prince scoffed in annoyance and sprung forth as well, swinging his fists as he did. Goku managed to duck down and dodge then swung back. Vegeta chuckled at the weak attempt as he leaned back to avoid the attack. Goku scrunched up his nose again and snorted angrily before letting out another terrifying mouth blast to which the prince barely dodged by leaping over it. Vegeta then managed to jab him right in the jaw, sending the giant skidding along the rough jagged ground. Although Kakarot received a bit of energy after transforming he could feel it draining away and it was going fast.
"HAHA Is that all you've got Kakarot? Look at you ! Your nothing but a pathetic clown, You can't even control your Oozaru!" The prince mocked as the other ape struggled to get up. Vegeta smirked once again, his large fangs gleaming as he lunged towards the fallen ape. He then clasped his hands together above his head and swung hard into Kakarots back. His grin only grew as the one below him let out a pain filled groan and collapsed. The third class saiyan tried his best to turn around and swing his fists, only to falter his step and fall back to the rocky ground. His body cried out in pain, he was completely exhausted, the transformation to Oozaru completely drained away at whatever was left in him. He clenched the dirt around him as he struggled once again to lift himself up only to receive a full powered kick to the jaw, sending him down once again. That was it, he couldn't hold his form. Slowly his body began to return to normal, his body was too powerless to maintain his Oozarau.
Kakarot could feel his mind slowly coming back to him, the darkness slowly faded away. His eyes opened slightly to the pinkness of the evening sky and all he could he hear was the saiyan princes terrible laughter booming through the canyons. Goku tried with whatever energy he hoped he had left to move his arms but failed. He was absolutely powerless. With every rising breath his body shout out in pain. Vegeta stared in amusement before reaching down and scooping the defeated saiyan up in his grasp, causing Goku to scream in terrible agony. He brought him right up to his snout and scrunched up his nose.
"Give up Yet Kakarot, for it seems you cannot even fight anymore...Hah I win, just like I always do." The prince proudly grinned with Goku tightly in his grasp.
"Ple-ase Vegeta don't do this." Goku barely ground out through clenched teeth. Blood poured from the corners of his mouth, and he could barely see out of one eye.
"You've left me no choice my dear Kakarot. Now to destroy this damned excuse of a planet."
"No! Let my Dad down right now!" A voice called out on a near by cliff. Vegeta turned to see that Raditz and Gohan had arrived. The older saiyan stood infront of the child protectively.
"My prince. Whats going on? I felt you two transforming." He questioned while eyeing his younger brothers condition.
"Oh look its that dammed half breed child of yours." The prince sneered before continuing. "Your brother insists on staying back here with these pathetic earthlings"
"He's got a point..We don't belong here Kakarot.." Raditz called out. Gohan leapt out from behind his uncle and powered up. "No! You can't take my dad away. I won't let you!"
"Gohan no its too dangerous!" Goku screamed out as Vegetas grip on him tightened. But it was too late little Gohan sprung forth without thinking.
"How foolish, It seems the Brat has a death wish." Vegetas massive gloved hand effortlessly swat the child towards a near by cliff. Luckily uncle Raditz intervened and saved him from impact.
"Forgive me my prince but I won't let you hurt the child," Raditz spoke up harshly. Gohan was one of the last ones to carry their superior saiyan blood, his own blood! He was his nephew and he'd make sure nothing happened to him. Throughout the short time he had spent with the child, he had grown a bond with him.
"He's a half breed filth!" The prince scowled angrily. How dare another one of his trusted soldiers turn on him. "Stay out of this Raditz, If you transform and go against me I will show no mercy!"
Raditz clenched his fists and unwound his tail from his waist. "There is no need for all this my liege. The child can come with us!"
"NO!" Vegeta growled as he opened his mouth for a attack. Both Raditz and Gohan spilt directions in order to evade the large energy blast. The prince then leapt at Raditz while still holding onto Kakarot. He screamed out in pain at each movement but still remained to powerless to breakfree. Raditz launched multiple of ki blasts but to no avail, they weren't affecting him one bit. Vegeta swung his fist, giving the older saiyan an uppercut, sending him high into the sky.
"I warned you Raditz!" The giant ape growled as he leapt up after him and struck him down hard back into earths gravity. He turned as he felt another energy blast head his way and dodged. The prince looked around and couldn't see anyone in sight. At this point Kakarot had lost consciousness from the searing pain his body endured.
"Show yourself, I know your still out there!" He growled out harshly in frustration. His ears perked up as Raditz and Gohan leapt out again. His large red eyes glared at the two as he brought Kakarot up to eye level. "He's lucky I care for the fool, or else I'd have crushed him to nothing by now." He laughed on as Gohan and Raditz clenched their teeth. The saiyan princes ears perked up again in alert then suddenly leapt up into the sky. He suddenly sensed an energy level approaching from behind. Both Radiz and Gohan leapt up in surprise as a large energy disk flew from underneath him and headed their way. Vegeta landed and turned to glare at a small trembling figure on a distant hill.
"Did you really think you could sneak up on me little man? Did you really think you could fool me with such a simple rouse. Like that for a second I wouldn't notice anything from behind." Vegeta questioned sarcastically as Krillen gulped nervously. "Your going to have to do better next time, except there won't be a next time hahaha." The princes laughter bellowed through the canyons as Gohan and Raditz looked at eachother in frustration. They were losing hope. What were they going to do?
"Take a good look, this is what I'm going to do to you, except I'm going to crush the very life out of you." The prince chuckled with Kakarot in his grasp only to suddenly gasp as a sudden pain shot throughout his body.
*SLICE!..THUD!*
Everyones eyes widened in shock with their mouths agape as Vegetas large tail collapsed with a thunderous thud and another human figure scurried away.
"IMPOSSIBLE! Who-Who did this to me! Where did he come from!" Vegeta stammered in shock. "You fools you don't know what you've done!" Vegeta groaned out as his grip loosened causing Goku to fall to the ground. The mighty saiyan prince began to shrink and convert back to his humanoid form.
"Yeah alright! he's gone back to normal!" Krillen exclaimed. "He didn't even see it coming! Who knew Yajirobe had it in him!"
Gohan stared in disbelief as Raditz shuddered. To lose their tail would be considered worse than death. It was a huge blow to a saiyan.
"Those little pests...How could I have been so careless." The prince growled out through clenched teeth. "You're... all.. going ...to ..PAY! You've disgraced me for first and final time!"
"I thought cutting his tail was going to stop him, it just made him angrier!" Gohan panicked.
"You're all going to learn a new meaning of pain. You're all going to suffer!" Vegeta growled out angrily before leaping towards Gohan and Raditz. He kneed Raditz right in the stomach before kicking him away. His body coursed with a new surge of adrenaline. He was going to make these earth dogs pay for what they did to him and Raditz for siding with them. He was the great saiyan prince, he would not let them get away with this. Gohan froze in place as he stared up at Vegeta.
"Get out of there Gohan!" Krill screamed out only causing the boy to flinch more. Vegeta smirked sinisterly as Gohan cowered beneath him.
"Whats wrong you seem scared" Vegeta mocked as he punched him hard in the gut. The young child crumpled to the ground clutching his midsection. He was unable to scream from the intensity of the punch.
"A true saiyan doesn't have fear, its unbecoming, it must be that trash human blood you share" Vegeta prepared to attack him again but only to spin around and kick a surprised Krillen who had tried to intervene.
"Patience little man. You'll get your turn." Vegeta beamed as he reached down and brought Gohan up to his face by the throat. "Come on boy, defend your self. I thought you had saiyan blood in you! Then fight me, show me your power!" He grimaced before giving the child a headbutt. Gohan groaned at intense pain he was in, he also felt as though he had used up all his power. "Here why don't you give your father a few last words." With that the prince tossed him off the cliff towards where Kakarot lay.
"Go-han...its dad." Goku mumbled as he tried to reach his son. Vegeta arched a brow.
"Well Kakarots awake again, he just doesn't know when to quit does he."
"Don't give up Gohan, I have no power left, my body is shredded..I know you can do it." Goku tried to speak as Gohan struggled to get up. "Your stronger than you think, Don't forget Piccolo trained you, he gave his life to save you because he believed in you!, I do too Gohan!" The young boy flinched, his father was right, he couldn't give up, he had to do this for Piccolo and everyone else he had hurt. He couldn't let them down.
"I'd hate to say it but I told you so Kakarot, all this could have been avoided! had you just listened and come with me but now its too late, everyone's going to suffer!" Vegeta called out to the figures laying on the ground. Raditz flew towards Vegeta only to stop when the prince brought up his palm. "Don't you dare try Raditz I'll be forced to kill you this instant."
Radtiz scowled, he didn't know what to do. He couldn't go against his prince but if he hurt the child then he'd definitely intervene. He glanced at Gohan who struggled to his feet, he wasn't going to give up just yet. Clenching his fists he's concentrated his Ki.
Vegeta arched a brow again, What was this damned child up to now? Whatever it was he wasn't going to wait around anymore. He'd wasted enough time on this planet. Without warning he dashed towards the powering up child. Gohans eyes shot wide open as he sensed Vegeta come near and let out multiple Ki blasts. He had caught the prince off guard. Vegeta halted in his tracks and leapt up in order to avoid them but was met with more blasts. Quickly he brought his arms up to block them but was met with a kick to the face.
"Why you little punk" Vegeta regained ground and leapt back towards the child, launching numerous kicks and punches. Gohan managed to keep him at bay. Vegeta growled in annoyance as the child managed to kick him in the jaw yet again. How did that brat gain so much power suddenly. His own body felt drained, his armour was completely shattered, his clothing tattered. His hair was covered in dirt and debris. He couldn't remember when the last time he had ever lost this much blood intact he couldn't even remember the last time he ever had to put in so much effort. He had to end things quick or else he'd be just as powerless as Kakarot. Vegeta quickly disappeared then reappeared behind Gohan giving him a full powered kick into his ribs, sending him flying. The prince quickly followed appearing infront of him once again, bringing both his fists together and slamming the child down back to the ground.
Vegeta chuckled as Raditz sprung forth to check on the boy. Raditz scowled in frustration. What were they going to do. How would they stop the prince. His eyes scanned the boy for injuries, noticing the childs tail sticking out from his pants. That was it! Why hadn't he thought about it before! All Gohan had to do was look at the fake moon and transform. The prince had said he couldn't transform but nothing about the child.
"Gohan get up! look at the sky! what do you see!" Raditz quickly turned the child to face the sky. Gohans eyes remained shut as he mumbled. "Come on Gohan look!"
The childs eyes shuttered open, his vision slightly blurry. He focused on the white creamy looking clouds in the bright pink sky. What was it he wanted to look at. His eyes wandered side to side till he seen a bright white light. Was that it? "What is that Uncle Raditz? He mumbled. Raditz sighed in relief when Gohans eyes shot wide open.
"Thats right Gohan keep looking at it!" Raditz yelled out as Gohans chest heaved heavily. Vegetas eyes widened in panic and turned to see his fake moon was still present. He had forgotten the damned child had a tail!. No he had to stop the child from transforming or else things were going to be bad.
"Raditz what are you doing! stop him!" Vegeta growled as he flew towards them. Raditz readied himself into an attack position. He'd make sure Gohan got to transform. Vegeta scowled at his comrades actions and let out numerous ki blasts. Raditz let out a few of his own to intercept his. He waited patiently for the prince to appear out of no where. Sure enough Vegeta appeared behind him and began a series of punches and kicks.
"Raditz your making a big mistake, you know Kakarot should come with us! If that child transforms, its just going to be another hurdle." The prince shout out through punches and kicks.
"That may be so, but that doesn't mean we should kill the child and this planet," Raditz called back. "You think Kakarot will be yours just because your going to eliminate all his new loved ones? Do you truly believe he'll come running back? He's going to despise you my prince! this isn't the way!" Raditz tried to get Vegeta to understand. "I know your hurt right now, but this won't do you any good but push Kakarot away from you."
Vegeta let out a furious scream. He didn't like what Raditz was saying. Kakarot was his and only his. He didn't care if the fool loved him or not, he was taking him regardless. He clenched his fists. No one denied this prince anything. "Shut up will you! and get out of my way! Galick gun!" He ground out as he brought together his palms and mustered all his strength into a large energy blast for Raditz. The older saiyan brought up his arms to defend himself for the sudden attack. He groaned out in pain not expecting the blast to be powerful enough to launch him away. The prince heaved as he tried to gain his breath then ran towards Gohan. His eyes opened in terror as the child had already began to grow and his face elongated.
"No! No stop it you! Stop transforming! dammit!" The prince leapt ontop of the boy, punching and kicking in different places to no avail. With one final terrifying roar Gohans transformation was complete. He swung his fist to Vegeta who was still trying to stop him. The prince grunted in agony at the impact and collapsed to the ground as Gohan let out another thunderous roar. Raditz smirked then realized this actually may have been a mistake. Gohan was young he didn't know how to control his Oozaru at all. His eyes widened as the ape tried to swat him away as well but managed to dodge. Oozaru Gohan let out a large mouth blast in frustration.
"Gohan stop! your going after the wrong guy!" Krillen called out from a distant cliff. "He's getting away come on Gohan!" Raditz watched as the giant ape grabbed a large slab of rock, getting ready to toss it but something caused him to halt. Its like something clicked his mind from hearing Krillens word. Gohans brows furrowed and his snout twitched.
"You can do it Gohan..." Gokus voice called out causing Gohan to look around, he stared at his fathers body for a moment then continued to scan the ground to which he seen a blue figure slowly dragging himself away. That triggered something in his mind and let out a ear-spilting roar. Vegeta flinched as he felt the ground below him shake. He turned to see Gohan staring right at him. Without warning Gohan attacked. It was as though Gohan had full control of who he was and who he was attacking. He leapt at Vegeta and tried to grab him but the prince leapt up into the sky. The prince let out multiple ki blasts in hopes to gain further ground. Gohan growled in annoyance and let out another mouth blast. Vegeta barely managed to dodge, his heart was racing. How was he going stop the dammed thing. His eyes scanned the beast furiously before a realization hit him.
His tail, he had to cut off his tail like they did him. He grunted as the air was knocked out of him by a giant hand swatting him. He managed to spin himself around and stop himself from slamming into the harsh jagged ground. Instead he leapt back up towards Gohan and disappeared as another arm whipped towards him. He reappeared behind him and let himself fall. His gloved hands began to glow as he neared Gohans tail but Gohan spun around quick sensing the other saiyan and whipped him to a near by cliff. Gohan thud his chest as he let out another terrifying mouth blast to where Vegeta had crashed. When the clouds of debris cleared it revealed nothing but rubble. Gohans brows furrowed in frustration. He quickly spun around again and lashed his tail as Vegeta appeared from behind in hopes of catching him off guard but failed. Gohan swung at him again but Vegeta dodged and ran up his arm and leapt at his backside again only to be whipped by Gohans massive tail. The prince crashed onto the rough gravel ground and struggled to lift himself. He was past his own limit and he couldn't hold up for much longer. He panted heavily before launching himself back up. Gohan leapt towards him, his jaws wide open as he prepared another mouth blast.
"I am the great saiyan prince and I won't be beat by the likes of you!" Vegeta roared as he let out a new wave of ki blasts. Shooting them non stops in hopes of faltering the giant apes movement. Gohan flinched and Vegeta seen an opening. Quickly he swung his arm back and prepared an energy filled disc. "Take this you dammed brat!"
Gohan roared out in pain as the disc managed to glide underneath him while he was mid air and slice off his tail. Vegeta sighed in relief but his eyes widened again as he realized he wasn't able to avoid the large ape that was about to land on him.
Raditz flew towards the giant clouds of dust, which revealed Vegeta laying deep in rubble with a butt naked Gohan laying ontop of him. Quickly Raditz lifted the unconscious child and nudged the prince. "Prince Vegeta..."
"Prepare our ships Raditz, We-we're leaving," Vegeta stammered out, his entire body was crushed he could barely move. Raditz nodded before taking out a cellphone looking like device from under his amour and clicked a bunch of buttons.
"Kaka-rot..." Vegeta groaned as he struggled to his side and scanned the ground for his most beloved saiyan. Sure enough he lay near by. Mustering whatever strength he had left, the saiyan prince used his arms and dragged himself to where Kakarot lay.
"You fool...this could have all been avoided had you just listened.." Vegeta ground out painfully. Kakarot opened his eyes too see Vegeta staring right back at him. His lips curved into a small smile.
"You Know...the last memory that I can remember.. be-before it all went black.." Goku spoke while taking a deep breath. "It was of me..laying in the rubble, dying on that foreign planet..I was calling out for you..."
Vegeta flinched and his heart began to race.
"You appeared and lay next to me like you are now..." Goku chuckled softly as his eyes watered up recalling the scene. "And I cried about how I broke that promise I made you..."
"What does it matter now? Save me this nonsense, You're breaking that promise again.." Vegeta grunted as he tried to sit up but his body denied it. He could feel his mind loosing consciousness. "You've betrayed me Kakarot. All these years I've endured the pain of losing you, but I never forgot you, But you..you don't even give a damn, you want to stay here with these inferior scum!" His eyes shuttered as he fought to stay up but he was utterly exhausted. "You lied.." his voice drifted as he finally collapsed.
"Vegeta..." Kakarot whispered as he watched the prince loose consciousness. He mentally sighed. He did care, he felt it. He may not have been able to remember it all just yet. but his body knew, his heart knew. His body was in pain, but his heart was completely crushed. It was losing what he was yearning for so long. But he couldn't leave with him no matter how badly he had wanted to. it was the right thing to do.
Right?
Raditz walked towards them, The saiyan pod that belonged to the prince arrived first. He then scooped up the unconscious prince and placed him in his pod. Quickly he entered their main ship cordinates and prepared for take off. Slowly the saiyan began to shut. Vegetas eyes slightly opened, his vision was blurry but he could make out Kakarots figure just before the doors shut. His body screamed out in pain, blood poured from the corners of his mouth, he lost his tail and his heart clenched tightly. He had found who he had lost so long ago. But that person didn't love him anymore, not like he had loved him.
"I will be back Kakarot and you will suffer for betraying me!" He mentally scowled before loosing conscious once again.
...
"Well that didn't go as smoothly as we hoped.." Raditz spoke as he watched Vegetas ship take off and his own arrived. "Kakarot, We will meet again but for now I must go with him."
" I under-stand, Please take care of him..for me." Goku whimpered out as Raditz placed Gohan on top of his father.
"Of course, I would never leave him alone to the likes of Lord Freiza, now with Nappa gone I will remain by his side.."
Goku flinched. Frieza? Why did that name send a chill throughout his body. Something wasn't right, Was it someone he had met before that he could not remember?
"Hey look its Bulma and the rest of the gang!" Krillen called out in relief to the two brothers. Yajirobe finally came out of hiding as well and stood by Krillen as they awaited the aircraft to close in.
"Do you think Vegeta hates me?" Kakarot mumbled out.
"Hm, perhaps angry for a long time, but hate you ? the poor chaps been in denial of your death for almost a decade. I believe the prince loves you a little to much." Raditz scratched the back of his head not realizing his words cracked Kakarot even more.
The prince loved him and he knew he felt the love he had for his prince yet he still denied him. Guilt consumed him as he thought of the pain the prince was in now. In a way he had almost hoped the prince did hate him. Then maybe he would be able to move on. His heart cringed at the thought of the prince hating him and loving another. But thats what he had done to him.
He had moved on without him.
"I must go now..farewell brother." Raditz spoke interrupting Gokus thoughts. He climbed into his cockpit and began typing the same coordinates as he did for Prince Vegeta. Just as Bulma and the rest of the crew landed their ship, the older saiyan took off. Goku watched his brother take off and become a speck in the sky as he exited earths atmosphere.
It was finally over. They were gone...
His Vegeta was gone...
"Where's my boy! Where's my little boy!" A voice screeched as the doors of the ship opened. Goku flinched he knew that voice all to well.
"Gohan ! Where's my little Gohan!"
"Calm down Chi-Chi, He's with Goku," Krillen tried to calm down the panicking woman also known as Gohans mother. "He's fine, just exhausted,"
"Fine? fine ? You call this fine! I seen the whole thing, oh my poor little Gohan must be in so much pain, quick we need to go to the hospital!" The woman ran over to Goku and scooped up her unconscious child then scurried back to the ship. Not bothering to check on her husband at all. Krillens brows furrowed in anger how could she have completely ignored Goku.
"It's fine Krillen, she's worried for her son, she's a mother now, her child means everything to her." Goku defended almost reading Krillens mind.
"Yeah well your her husband the least she could of said was hi Goku are you alright?" Krillen scoffed. Though Goku didn't want to admit it, he was right. Chi-Chi ignored him even being there.
"Ah we should get you two to the hospital as well, I don't have any senzu beans at the moment." A new voice called out from the ship.
"Korin! Your here too? " Krillen was surprised as the old wise cat approached them.
"Yes, you three fought amazingly.. Now let's get you guys healed up." He motioned for Yajirobe who came out with a stretcher.
Once everyone was on board they took off to fine the rest of their comrades, or atleast what was left of them. The entire ship remained quiet , everyone mourning their close friends deaths. Bulma couldn't contain her grief as she sobbed her heart out for her late lover Yamcha.
"We can't bring them back..the dragon balls their gone.." She sobbed. Everyone remained quiet. Frustration clearly evident on their faces.
"What do you mean?" Chi-Chi asked confused. "Where are the dragon balls?"
"You see when piccolo died, Kami died with him. Kami created the dragon balls so when he died they disappeared with him.." Master Roshi explained.
"You know, while we were fighting the saiyans before Goku arrived, I remembered one of them saying something...and it might be worth a shot. But it's a long one.." Krillen spoke up as everyone's attention drifted towards him.
"What are you saying Krillen, what did you hear?" Bulma immediately stopped crying.
"I remember when the bigger one was hesitating to kill Piccolo, the shorter one.. Vegeta had said that he was a namekian and that all they had to do was go to planet Namek and get a namekian to make them new dragon balls..." Krillen recalled.
"I remember that!" Gohan called out from his mothers lap. "If we can find planet Namek, I'm sure they'll be able to help, after all if Kami was a namekian and he made them, why couldn't others..."
"Even if that were true. Do any of you know where planet Namek could be? Or how we're going to get there? Cause I sure don't." Bulma spoke bitterly, crushing everyones excitement. Goku furrowed his brows. There was got to be a way for them to find Namek. Wait. Of course!
"King Kai! I hope your listening? I need a favour..." Goku spoke softly surprising everyone. He smiled as King Kai replied. "Yes Goku, what was it"
"Do you happen to know where planet Namek is?" Everyone sat in silence, eager for his reply.
"Why of course I do! Here let me get the coordinates?..SW66..eh 9045XY!" Bulma scurried to find something to write the planets location. Everyone else cheered happily in excitement. But Bulma wasn't so easily convinced. While King Kai explained about Namek and the namekians, Bulma did some calculations and sighed.
"We might know where it is but how are we going to ever get there!" She screeched in frustration, confusing everyone.
"Gee Bulma is that a trick question, we'll take any one of the spaceships. duh." Krillen scratched the back of his head. Bulma laughed sarcastically.
"Oh yeah. Care to guess how long it'll take us to get there ? No? Well let me tell you, I've done the calculations a few times and it'll take us over 4000 years to get there!"
Everyones heart sank is disappointment. Now what were they going to do?
"Wait what about the saiyan ships?" Krillen thought of quickly. "Are there any left"
Goku thought for a moment, he had no clue where Raditz had left the one Mr. Briefs had modified. But that would do it. Surely they'd be able to track it.
"I remember Kami had a ship. Mr. Popo knows where it is." Korin spoke up next.
"Then we're good to go! We're all going to Namek!" Everyone cheered. This was the only chance they had to get their friends back and they'd do their best to make sure they succeeded. While everyone planned in excitement, Goku lay in the back staring up at the wall. He was happy things were starting to look good again . He shut his eyes in hopes of getting some rest but his mind was restless. All he could think of was his prince.
Would he be there on Namek?...
DUN DUN DUN...Yay Namek Saga here we come..
