Chakra training begins

After our fight with Mohandas, we continue our mission to take Kayo and Alfred back to their village. I look at Akari and the wounded. I am just hope they are alright. But then, i just realize something. Something that made my soul throbbing. Tatsuo notices this and ask me what's going on with me. "Hey, what wrong with you? It almost look like you saw a ghost or something."

"Tatsuo, i don't know how to tell you this but, i think Mohandas is still alive." I stated.

"Are you sure about that? Because in case you don't remember, that tracker ninja killed him. So he can't be alive, freak." Tatsuo stated.

"Easy for you to say. I know he is still alive. I don't know how but he is. And i think that tracker ninja had something to do with it." I said.

"Whatever. Believe what you want to believe." Tatsuo said.

"Fine. Don't believe me then. I don't know why i told you anything." I said.

"Hello there!" Me and everyone look in front of us and see two older people waving at us. "You guys look like you need some help." The old man said.

"Believe me, we do. Do you have a place for us to rest and eat?" Akari asked.

"Sure, we was on our way home. You should follow us if you want to." The old man said.

"Thanks. Let's go guys." We listened to Akari and follow the nice older couple to their house much like to Kayo's dislike.

Once we got to the old couple house, Akari and her shadow clones brought Kaida and the other two wounded ninjas in the house so the lady can heal them. Akari came back outside without her clones and sat by a nearby tree. She look at me and Tatsuo and ask us something. "How are you two holding out?"

"We're fine. Just some minor wounds but that's about it." I said.

"That's good to hear. Really good." I can see Akari is very upset and sad about what happen to Kaida.

I walked over to her and place my hand on her shoulder. "Sensei look, i know how you feel about what happen to Kaida. But you can't just blame yourself for that. Yeah sure you got caught in Mohandas's jutsu, but it's still not your fault. I think you are a great mother who cares about her kid. No parent should have to blame themselves for something like that. I may not have no parents nor I'm a parent myself, but i got an older twin brother that i care about and i love him to death because he's the only family i got and i don't want to lose him just like you don't want to lose Kaida. You get what I'm saying?"

"Yeah, i think i do. Thanks, Momiji." I nodded at Akari with an smile on my face.

Just then, Kaida came out with a arm cast on her left arm. "Hey, guys, what i miss?"

I left Akari's side and ran to Kaida to give her a hug. "Kaida! You had us worry! What happen back there? Did those shadows do something to you?"

"It's best if i don't talk about it. Also, can you let go of me? You are hurting my arm some more." Kaida said.

"Oh, sorry." I said. I letted go of Kaida and turned to my Akari. "So, what now?"

"How about explaining your little story from earilar?" Tatsuo asked.

"What story?" Kaida asked.

"Well, Ms. Paranoid here thought it was funny to say that Mohandas is somehow alive. Which i don't believe." Tatsuo said.

I got very annoy that she doesn't believe what i said. Then again, me and her don't really see eye to eye. "You gonna have to believe her, Tatsuo." Me and Tatsuo look at Akari as she explained more of it. "What Momiji is saying is true. It is in fact that Mohandas is still alive. I had a feeling about that the moment after the tracker ninja took his body away. I knew something didn't feel right. I just did."

Tatsuo got enrage and start questioning her. "You knew about it and just let that freak run off with that other freak?! You could've killed that tracker ninja when he had the chance! Why did you hesitated to do so?!"

"Because, my only object is to kill Mohandas for what he did. That's all. Any other questions?" Tatsuo shook her head no. "Good. Now with that out of the way, let's begin your chakra training.

"Chakra training? No hard feelings, what does chakra training gonna do against Mohandas when we fight him again? I mean, you could barely beat him the first time. What can we do against him?" I asked.

Akari begins talking about how much we've grown and all that stuff. "You think those guys are going to beat them? I don't believe it, and i will never well!" A little voice yelled at Kayo.

We turned to see a little boy with a straw hat. Apparently, him and Kayo are getting into an argument about something. The elder woman called him Asahi and begins scolding him. Asahi glared at us and claimed we'll die. That riled me up, like, a lot. I was about to follow after him and teach him a lesson but Akari told me to let it go. So i did and have him run off.

"What was his deal anyway?" I asked myself.

We went on training later. "Alright, our training starts now." We stood out near the old couple's house and waited for Akari to tell us what to do.

"Okay, you guys know what Chakra is and how it works, right?" Akari asked.

"Of course. It's a essential that ninjas need, right?" I asked.

"That's right. But you only got the beginner half of it." Akari said.

Me and the others were confuse on what she meant. Akari started telling us that we didn't even scratch the surface of chakra.

"Climb a tree." Akari said.

I blinked as i trying to put the puzzle together. "I must be hearing things. Did you just say "climb a tree?" Akari nodded.

Is she serious? Climbing a tree is easy than capturing cats. "You got to be kidding us." Tatsuo said. Oh, am i? Let's put that to the test, shall we?" She performed a sign and me and the others noticed chakra gathering in her feet. What is she planning? She walked to a tree and begins walking up it.

So cool! I wanna do that too! I almost squealed but i stopped myself from doing so. She then proceeded to walk upside down on a branch. "So how does this help us fight Mohandas and any other threats?" Tatsuo asked.

"It's the only way to fight people like him, Tatsuo. That's the whole point of this training. First you'll learn to draw a precise amount of chakra to a precise point. This is difficult, even for us advance ninja." Akari said.

Okay, i think i beginning to understand what she mean now. I am glad i did. I didn't even know that. She threw a kunai down at each of us. "Use the kunai knife to mark the tree at the highest point you can climb, without using you hands. Then try to get pass that mark the next time, and the next, and so on. But first, you'll need to run at the tree to get momentum. Ready?"

We picked up our kunais and prepared. I took a deep breath and perform the sign to gather chakra in my feet. After gathering enough chakra, me and the others ran up the tree. However, i only made it only at my fouth step while Tatsuo made it higher, but she didn't do well either. She used too much and she bounced off the tree.

"Looks like i went above your mark, freak." Tatsuo said.

"So what if you did? You didn't make it higher than that." I said.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Anyway, where's Kaida yet?" Tatsuo asked.

"I'm up here." Me and Tatsuo looked up and see Kaida hanging upside from a higher branch.

"How is it possible that she manages to get higher than us?" Tatsuo asked.

"Because she learned how to balance her chakra and control it. You two however seem to haven't. Momiji, you only used a small part of your chakra which is why you didn't make it that far. And as for you, Tatsuo, you used too much of your which is why you bounced off the tree a minute ago. How are you two gonna make your dreams come true if you can't control your chakra. For someone who is part of the Uzumaki clan and the Uchiha clan, you two are bad at controlling your chakra." Akari said.

After hearing what Akari just said, my and Tatsuo's motivation seems to have spiked.

The day went on with me and Tatsuo trying to get up the trees. Akari had Kaida sat down to relax after she managed to climb higher than us nine times in a row.

I fell on the ground exhausted from climbing up the tree. "Man, this is harder than i thought. I hope Naruto is having a better time with this than i am. What am i gonna do?" I panted as i trying to figure out what to do.

I looked at Kaida and came up with a perfect idea. I got up and walked up to her. "Hey Kaida, you know more about this than i do, care to help a teammate out and give some advice? Also, don't tell the Uchiha brat i asked. Let's just keep this to ourselves." I said.

"As much i don't really want to, i guess i can help since i don't have anything else to do. Okay, here's what you have to do to balance your chakra." Kaida told me everything about how to use balance. However, Tatsuo overheard us and started to get the picture too.

"Okay, i understand what i have to do. Thanks, Kaida." Kaida nods as i walked back to the tree i was at and give Tatsuo a childish look before Kaida's words to the test. 'Okay, i got this. I have to imagine my body as a blue fire. I need to keep balance. I need to get stronger! I must do everything to keep my brother safe! And I'm not gonna let some unbalanced chakra get in my way!' "Alright, time to put this to the test!"
