91. I hate not having time
to eat breakfast
Kim hurriedly ran down the stairs.
"Morning, Kim!" Kailey squealed, holding up the pan of pancakes. "I made some banana oat pancakes! Your favourite!" Kim gave her a quick glance before collecting her books she left on the table.
"Great, thanks Mom!" Kim said, opening the door.
"Kim? Don't you wanna -" Kailey was cut off by the slam of the door. "Eat."
92. I hate the noise when
my alarm goes off
Kim opened her eyes to the high-pitched beeping noise. She groaned and pressed 'Snooze' on her screen and closed her eyes. She was gonna have to change that soon.
93. I hate knowing what
you're gonna do in every class
in the morning
Kim sat down in her History class, her first period. She looked up at the board. Covering it, there were doodles of scrolls and questions about the Constitution. She sighed and rubbed her face with her hands. She didn't care enough to be there.
94. I hate how no one asks me
for help because they know
I don't know the answer
Kim's math class was doing this stupid competition where whichever table won got like candy or something stupid.
"Alright, next question!" Mrs. Bang said with a fake smile. All teachers were fake. They didn't really care about you or your grades, they only cared about the money they got. She wrote the next question. Her entire table began working, completely ignoring her. She didn't understand this, and she didn't want to.
95. I hate how I am not very
nice compared to how I used to be
"Kim?" a small voice asked from next to her. She turned to the girl.
"Yes?"
"Would you like some help? You haven't even started, and we need to win this." the girl replied. Kim rolled her eyes.
"Look, I don't care about your stupid competition, alright? Seriously, it's just freaking Reese's. Who cares?" the girl looked hurt and confused. Kim just rolled her eyes, twirling her pencil in her hand.
96. I hate that disappointed smile
my math teacher gives
me when she hands me a test
Mrs. Bang was passing out the latest test.
"Kim Crawford," she called out loud. Kim got up, keeping her head down, and grabbed the paper. Mrs. Bang gave her that sad, disappointed smile she hated so much.
"Try harder next time, okay?" Mrs. Bang asked, fake smiling. Wipe that smile off your face and I will. Kim thought bitterly. Kim just smiled at her, through her endless amounts of pain, and walked back to her seat.
97. I hate when people
say they love my school
Kim pushed past the heavy amounts of people, trying to exit the horrid place.
"Oh my god, I love this school!"
"Me too! Besties!"
Kim rolled her eyes and kept walking.
"Yo, this school is like, so cool."
"I know right?"
Kim chuckled a bit. Every school was horrible.
98. I hate FOOTBALL GAMES
Kim flinched as her entire school started cheering. She was sitting on the very end of the bleacher, by herself. A group of people sat next to her. The guy that scooted in next to her turned and gave her a smile, which she painfully returned. She swung her legs over the side and jumped off. She crawled under the bleachers and sat there, regretting ever coming.
99. I hate when people said
high school would be awesome
(Flashback)
"High schools going to be awesome!" Grace said, smiling at Kim and Julie. Kim laughed and nodded.
"Totally!" she responded. Julie smiled. They all group hugged.
"Best friends forever?" Julie asked.
"Forever. And ever." Grace responded.
(End of Flashback)
Little did Kim know that forever only lasted a summer and two months.
100. I HATE HIGH SCHOOL
Kim walked the halls of Seaford, her eyes peeled to the floor. Everytime she breathed, it hurt. Everytime she blinked, she fell asleep. She couldn't take another year of this.
Thump!
Kim fell to the floor, her books and papers going everywhere.
"I'm so sorry!" a masculine voice said. Kim ignored him, picking up her fallen papers. She saw a tan hand reaching out, holding the rest of her papers. She grabbed them, not making eye contact.
"Are you okay?" he asked, standing up. He stuck his hand out for her. She grabbed her books, stood up, and walked away. She felt a hand grab her forearm.
"Hey, wait up. Are you okay?" he turned Kim around and gasped. "Kim?" Kim looked up at Jack, giving him a painful smile.
"I didn't recognize you!" he gave her a white smile, which would usually make her heart melt, but this time she wasn't moved. "You lost your tan, your super skinny, and you didn't react to me grabbing you. How have you been?" Kim looked down, not replying. She shook his hand off of her arm, and walked away. She heard him calling her name as she left.
Kim walked into the nearest janitors closet, locked the door, and sat down on the floor. Tears streamed down her face as the same thought replayed in her head. I hate high school. I hate high school….
