Chapter 9

-Noah's Ark-

(Allen's POV)

Once again I wake up on the hard cold metal table The Earl strapped me on. Two guns are pointing to my head and I see the Jasdevi twins standing above me.

"Hello apprentice." David smiles at me sinisterly.

"Are you ready to have some fun?" Jasdero asks.

I sigh and ask them indifferently, "So what kind of "fun" do you have in mind?"

They both give me a sadistic smile and reply in unison, "The same fun we always do to you in the morning!"

I just realise that they are planning on putting me back in the sphere again and shoot me like there's no tomorrow. I groan as they are going to undo the straps, that are binding me, but the Earl arrives in time with Wisely and says, "Now boys, you can whip young Allen into shape tomorrow, because Wisely and I are ready to go though the 14th's memories."

Jasdevi whines in disappointment as they withdraw their guns and walks away from me. The Millennium Earl, along with Wisely, walks up to me as he greets me with his usual "Good Morning~"

I glare at him, wanting to lash out at him for some reason, but I couldn't because he might send Fiddler to harm Lavi. He turns to Wisely and nods at him, as the turban Noah uses his curse eye to trap me in another one of Neah's memories.

-Neah's Memories- Noah's Ark-

Neah's POV

A day has past after my first mission and I spent the night at the Ark. I am in Road's room and I hesitate about going home, wondering what I'm going to say to mother and Mana if I'm leaving them. I look up at Road, who is decorating one of her "dolls", who she collected after our mission and I ask, "How am I suppose to leave my family? If I tell them who I was, they might be scared of me, and I don't think mother would let me leave until I'm eighteen."

She skips over to me and replies, "There is one idea I have in mind."

"And what would that be?" I ask.

A sadistic smirk stretches across her face and says, "Fake your own death."

"WHAT?!" I exclaim loudly, "YOU WANT ME TO FAKE MY OWN DEATH?! I DON'T WANT TO WORRY THEM!"

She giggles and says, "Well, another possibility is I could kill them and they don't have to worry."

"NO, DON'T DO THAT!" I yell.

"Well, what other ideas can you come up with, Neah?"

I can't really come up with any ideas. I don't have any better excuses to why I'm leaving my family, except for being a cold blooded murderer. I can't live with the guilt and they would eventually find out if I stay with them. Other ideas would worry them, like faking my own death. Pretending to be kidnapped wouldn't be a bright idea either, because my mother would call the cops to find wherever I am and bring me home. I definitely don't want my family to get killed either. After thinking about it, I have made my decision.

"I guess faking my own death is probably the best idea I could think of right now." I reply.

Road smiles and then she calls an akuma over here. It looks like a clown, with a huge head, big eyes and fat belly. It has a pentacle on its forehead and one on its stomach.

"Um, Road, why are you calling an akuma for?" I ask.

"He is going to disguise himself as a cop and he'll tell your mother that you were murdered last night by a group of thugs, who already disposed of your body" Road says.

As much as it pains me the make my mother worry, I still manage to accept the offer. Road grins and commands the akuma to do that errand. It transforms into a police officer and leaves the area at once. I still don't feel comfortable about this, but I just want this weight to be lifted off my shoulders. I don't know if I've made the right decision, but I guess it would make Adam and the rest of the Noah Clan happy. I guess I wouldn't be seeing my family anymore, even if I wanted to. Road clings onto my arm as my face begins to blush as she says, "Breakfast is almost ready, Neah. We should head our way to the dining hall right now before all the food is gone."

I am pretty hungry, but I don't think breakfast would relieve the stress I'm carrying right now. I let Road pull my arm as she leads me the dining room. The whole family is already at the table when we come in. Road escorts me to my seat and then she sits herself down right beside me. She turns to Adam and chirps, "Lord Millennium~ Neah has some good news he would like to share with everyone."

"Oh really~?" he asks as he turns his attention to me, "What news did you bring to us, Neah~?"

I stutter a bit before I could speak.

"I-I have officially… left my family…" I say nervously.

"So, you are going to be apart of this family?" Adam asks.

I nod my head timidly.

He raises himself up excitedly and announce the whole family that I am going to be apart of the family. Some of them cheer, including Road, after hearing the news, but some of them seem indifferent. Adam sits himself back down on the table and asks his akuma servants to fetch us our breakfast, so they did what the Earl ask them to do. He pulls out a card, which is Cell Roron, and shows it to everyone.

"It looks like our beloved 14th has successfully completed his first mission." he notes, as the whole family turns their attention towards me.

"Did you give that bastard what he deserved?" asks Bondoro curiously.

"How did you kill him?" his twin, Domuvit asks, with the same enthusiasm.

I am about to reply, but Road comes in and yells, "He was amazing! He was very brutal with his weapon, and he didn't just kill his target, he killed other exorcists by stabbing them in the heart! He even destroyed their innocence!"

The twins look really surprise and turn their attention back on me.

"WOW, THAT SOUNDS BRUTAL!" they exclaim in unison.

"Would you miss your target?" Rasutora says in a flirtatious voice.

"Of course not," I say darkly, "I wouldn't miss his ugly face even the slightest. He can just rot on the streets for all I care, and his buddies as well."

"Wow, you just became a member of the family and you're already are talking like a Noah!" Domuvit exclaims excitedly.

"He already was a Noah ever since he was born." Wisely informs the twins.

I smile a bit, feeling like I am apart of the family now, but I am little sad that I'm leaving my birth family. The akuma servants came back with our breakfast. They brought French toast, sausages, bacon and a serving plate full of fruit. The akuma set the food on the table, so the family can eat. Everyone helps themselves to grab their breakfast as I did the same thing. I pick my share of fruit, sausage, bacon and French toast and then I start eating my food. I try everything on my plate and the food tastes amazing, but I am going to miss mother's cooking. I can't seem to stop thinking of my family. I believe they are worried about me right now. Hopefully this burden I carry would disappear in a few months. After breakfast I went into the room with the black piano in it to play some music. It can help distract my mind from my family and it makes me feel calm. I sit on the piano bench; run my fingers on the keys and start singing my song.

"Oh, Neah, are you playing the first song that you wrote?" a curious voice asks me from behind.

I turn to the doorway and see Road standing there with a cheerful smile.

"Mind if I listen to it?" she asks.

I smile at her and then I start playing my song. I sing my lyrics and run my fingers on the keys. I didn't notice Road walking closer towards me while I am playing. When I finish my song, I turn towards her as she gives me a tight hug.

"OH MY GOD, YOU ARE AN AMAZING PIANIST!" she exclaims cheerfully.

She presses her lips hard against mine and pokes her tongue into my mouth. My eyes widen when she did that. She never kissed me this serious before. I notice someone coming in this room and my eyes are fixed on this specific person. The one, who just came in is… Road? Her jaw is dropping down and her eyes are wide in shock. She is carrying Lero, who is just as surprise as she is. I am shock too, so I pull away from the Road, who is kissing me and stare at both of them.

"W-What's going on?" I ask nervously, "Why are there two Roads?"

The Road, who just came in is glaring at the other Road and yells, "Rasutora, get your hands off my Neah!"

She whacks the Road, who she called Rasutora, with Lero and then the one, who just got whacked starts to giggle. I raise one eyebrow, wondering what's going on as the laughing Road changes into Rasutora. I am really shock of witnessing this. I am also embarrass and angry from getting kissed from that psycho. He stares at me, cupping my chin in his hand, saying in a seductive voice, "I didn't know you were a great kisser."

I glare at him and push him away. I make my way out of this room irritability and walk down the hallway, trying to find a washroom so I can wash my mouth.

"Neah," I hear a voice coming behind me, which belongs to Road, so I turn to face her.

"I am sorry that Rasutora did that to you." she apologizes, "You are not the only one he tricked. He sometimes does that to the rest of the family… including me."

I raise both my eyebrows, after hearing about that.

"He is quite a tricky Noah, but make sure you are aware of his ability." she lectures, "I don't want to see you accidently kissing him again."

I still feel the texture of Rasutora's kiss, feeling a little nauseated after that.

"Road, do you know where a bathroom is?" I ask.

She nods her head as asks me to follow her. She leads me to where a washroom is and I thank her for showing me where it is. I rush in there and went to the sink, washing my mouth to clean out the texture of Rasutora's kiss. I cleanse it until my mouth is nice and fresh. I walk out of the bathroom after that and notice Road is still here.

"So, do you want to see your family's reaction, ever since you "died?" she asks.

I shake my head, thinking I have already known that my family would be heartbroken, but I am a little curious to know how bad their depression is.

"Would my family ever recover from their sorrow?" I ask.

"It sometimes takes a few weeks to get over the death of a family member." Road notes, "But sometimes it take more than a month to release their grief."

I feel guilty for making my family feel this way. They think I am dead, but I really am not. That was only a white lie to get myself out of the house and live with my new family. No, it was more than that. I lied to them to hide the monster that I had become. I am now a cold blooded murderer, who kills exorcist for the sake of the Noah Family, and for the sake of the world. My normal family wouldn't understand. They would fear me and turn their backs on me. I wish this thought would leave my head immediately, because thinking about my old family would only keep me into a do-loop. The notion of it keeps going over and over again with no end, and I want to get out of it, but it is hard to escape it.

Six months have past and I had just turned fifteen. The thought of my old family disappears throughout the weeks. I never went back to school, ever since I had faked my own death. I have my own room in the Ark now. I would miss sharing a room with Road, but it was nice to have a private room to myself, with nothing to worry about. I am currently taking my education at my new home. Adam and Wisely are my tutors, and they teach me whatever is necessary. Road still goes to school, but not the same school we usually go to. She is attending at a school in Edo Japan and it seems different to our school in London England. I am starting to warn up with the other Noahs. Raasura would take some time getting to know, since he is a hothead and I still don't trust Rasutora, after that kissing incident. I had killed a lot of exorcists during the past couple of months, but I feel like something is missing. I do not pity them or care about their death, but I don't feel the joy of killing them either. The exorcists, whom I had slain, are dead to me and nothing more. No feelings were applicable, no mercy, not even a melody. The only thing I could picture is me being a cold blooded murderer.

This evening, we are all gathered into the dining area to have supper. Adam had ordered the akumas to fetch our dinner, so we waited a few minutes. We chattered for a bit, until the akumas came back with our supper. There is one particular akuma that catches my eye, who is carrying mash potatoes. She looks like a girl around my age, with beautiful blonde hair. Despite her greyish skin and pupiless pale white eyes, she looks oddly familiar.

"Wendy?" I thought to myself, as the akuma sets down the mash potatoes at the table and walks away. The other akuma brought alligator, rice and a garden salad for us to eat. We all fill our plates up with food and start eating it. I add a little bit of salt on my alligator, because the last time I tried it, it was too slimy. Once everyone has finish their meal, Adam asks for everyone's attention.

"So, it looks like those pesky exorcists are stepping up their game, which could be a huge problem." he says, "I will assign each of you a target and your goal is to kill them."

Adam gives everyone each a "Cell Roron" card. Each card has the name of the target written inside of the cell. I am the last member to receive a card. I look at the name of my target, which reads, "Hotaru Miso" and I ask Adam who he is. He gives me a picture of my target to give me a clue on who I'm attacking. The photo show me an Asian man, who is about sixteen, with a short dark green hair, emerald eyes, wearing glasses.

"I think this exorcist is close to your skill." Adam notes, "You are getting stronger and more aggressive in your past missions, so I am going to make you go in alone, with some akuma to aid you."

"What do you mean by "Going in alone" if I have akuma to aid me?" I ask.

"I'm saying you are strong enough to go without Road, but I would recommend bringing some akuma with you on your mission." Adam says.

"So you're saying I can go in alone without any other Noah aiding me?"

Adam nods his head and says, "Everyone else has their own mission."

Road pats my back, encouraging me that I'll do fine on my mission. I feel like my confidence is boosting up, happy to have someone supporting me before I go to my assignment.

When Adam dismisses everyone from the dining room table, I went to talk to that akuma, who looks like Wendy. She looks at me with those white eyes of nothingness and asks, "Is there anything you need, Master Noah?"

"N-no… I-I mean yes…" I hesitate.

I clear my throat, preparing to get my voice ready and say, "You look like a friend of mine in elementary school. Do you happen to be Wendy Daniels?"

She stares at me blankly and replies, "I am, but I am also not her."

I raise one eyebrow, wondering what she means by that.

"I am her mother, using her skin as my own." she mentions, "If she hadn't turned me into an akuma, I wouldn't be wearing her skin."

I feel like my stomach is about to turn after hearing that. How would a mother wear her child's skin? It sounds disturbing, unforgivable, and appalling.

"How did your daughter change you into an akuma?" I ask.

"She made a deal…" she pauses and finishes her sentence in a whisper saying, "To the Millennium Earl…"

The Millennium Earl, also know as Adam, played a part in this? I ask the akuma on what deal did Wendy make with the Earl of Millennium.

"I had died from breast cancer and my daughter wanted to bring me back. So she made a deal to Lord Millennium to bring me back to life, but she trapped my soul into a shell of an akuma. I didn't want to kill my daughter, but I didn't have a choice. Lord Millennium ordered me to kill her, and that's what I did. I couldn't disobey an order, coming from the Earl or any of the Noah."

I don't like hearing about this. It sounds horrifying and unbearable. Are akuma really created like that? I don't usually care about other people's death, because they are just ordinary humans, who would think I am a freak of nature. But Wendy was a good friend of mine and I hate hearing that she is dead. But she never knew I was a Noah and she would probable freak out the same way other humans would. I push the thought aside and look at the akuma again.

"It appears that Lord Millennium has ordered me to assist you on your mission." she says, "I will do my best assisting you as much I could."

I nod my head, but I didn't smile. I want to talk to Adam about the creation of the akumas, but right now I need to start my mission. The akumas, who are assigned with me on my mission, follow me when I went to find Road, so she can transport me to where I need to go. Once I found her, I ask her to summon a door, so I can get to my destination, which she did. A heart shape door, with a black and red checker pattern on it appears in front of me. Before I walk through it, Road gives me a hug and says, "Be careful out there."

I hug her back, saying that I would and then she kisses me on the lips. She pulls back with a smile and waves at me before I go. I grin back at her and then I, along with the akuma assigned to me, went through her checker door.

I am now in Hong Kong, where my target is lurking around. Usually these exorcists are looking for innocence, so maybe there is an innocence fragment in this city. I am in an alley and the akuma, who followed me here, disguise themselves as humans. I did the same thing, so normal people wouldn't see me as a freak. We casually walk out into the open to search for the innocence or my target. The city is huge and we've been walking around for at least an hour. During our search, a few Chinese teens are flirting with "Wendy" but I have to drag her away from each and every one of them, because they would only get in the way. A few minutes have pass and we finally found a clue. There is an old man, who is about in his mid-eighties, walking around with a golden cane with green jewels. The old man is standing upright, looking healthy for a guy, who is nearly at the age of dying. He isn't even using his cane to support him. I ask myself, "Why would he be carrying a cane if he can walk normally?" or "How is he walking healthily if he is in his mid-eighties?"

Then it hit me. That cane he is carrying seems to be his support, even if it's not touching the ground. The more I stare at it; I feel a grudge building up within me. I could sense the innocence within that cane. I push the fact aside and walk casually towards the old man.

"Excuse me, sir?" I start, as he turns to face me, "I have a question. Why are you carrying a cane if you're walking perfectly?"

The old man glances at me at eye level and asks, "Why would a youngster like you want to know?"

I scratch the back of my head and say, "I don't know; I'm just curious."

He holds his cane up like a baseball bat and yells, "You'll better not be any type of thugs, are you?!"

I could see the green crystals glowing on that cane. This couldn't be a good sign. I raise my arms up, as well as the akuma and we say, "No, no, we aren't thugs! We are just one family, who is curious!"

He lowers his cane and he replies, "This cane is the only thing, which is keeping me alive."

This frustrates me, because whatever is keeping this old man alive is that fragment of innocence. I remember one time when I was talking with Adam in one private meeting. He told me that it was okay to sacrifice civilians if they are interfering with our goals. In this case, this old man is carrying a fragment, which is keeping him alive and I have to take it. I would be sacrificing his life, but I'm only taking the innocence for the Noah Clan.

"Are you heading anywhere?" I ask the geezer.

"Home." he replies and then he walks away from me saying, "Good day to you."

We made him walk a few steps away from us. When he is about a few meters ahead, we tail him until we get to his house. Before we go in there, we decide to wait a few more minutes to make sure the old man is asleep. The akuma were not that patient. They would complain about waiting, saying that they want to kill him now. I fiery bullet hits one akuma from behind and burns it to a crisp. I turn to face to whoever made that shot. He is a young Asian guy, with short dark green hair, wearing glasses and an exorcist coat. He is my target, Hotaru Miso.

"Stay away from the old man!" he yells at me.

"And what if we don't?" I say in an indifferent tone.

"I will stop you!" he yells, "I won't let any akuma taking away the innocence the old man is currently carrying!"

I chuckle and order my akuma to attack this fool. They transform into demonic balloons, with guns surrounding their body. They shoot their bullets at this Hotaru guy, but the pesky exorcist dodges every bullet. He manages to shoot a couple akuma, while evading the attack as they disintegrate into dust. I keep watching the foolish exorcist attack the akuma, until there is very few left. I tell my akuma to withdraw and say, "This exorcist looks tough. Maybe I should have a turn."

Hotaru is pointing his gun at me when I walk up to the front. I pull out my short sword and transforms into my Noah form.

"Prepare to die, exorcist!" I yell at him.

He begins to shoot at me, but I dodge the attack. I charge at him with my sword and try to slice off his head, but he ducks just in time. He trips me with his leg, causing me to fall down. I crash on the ground and Hotaru points his gun at me. Before he could shoot, I manage to kick him in the crotch and punch him in the chest when I get up. He shuffles backwards, but he didn't stumble on the ground. We are both glaring at each other. We each ready our weapons as we dive in for an attack. Hotaru shoots at me and I try to dodge it as quickly as possible, but he manages to hit the triceps of my left arm. The bullet burns, but it wasn't strong enough to bring me down. The exorcist is shock to see me withstanding it. I tackle him and we both crash onto the ground. I place my sword near his neck, ready to end it all, as he glares straight at me.

"What are you?!" he asks angrily, "Your transformation seems different to whatever akuma I encountered! Why hasn't my bullet destroyed you?! Are you a level 3?!"

I let out an ominous chuckle and say, "Who said I was an akuma? I am a much superior race than that, even a more superior race to you sub humans."

"What are you talking about?!" he snaps.

"I'm saying I am a one of the chosen ones, who carry a gene from God's oldest apostle." I state. "I am a Noah, a true apostle to God himself, unlike you filthy exorcists, who worship the false God!"

I use my sword and stab him in the heart, like I do with most of my targets. I watch as his life bleeds away and dies slowly. I take my sword out and stare at the body. He is pale, like most dead people are, and he's cover in blood. The sight of him doesn't disturb me and I don't pity his death. I had been killing exorcist for the past six months and I am used to it. If Road were here, she would take this sorry exorcist back and make him into a doll. Since that thought got me an idea, I think I would take the corpse to give to Road as a souvenir. I pick up Hotaru's body and slung him on my shoulder. I also grab his gun from the ground and then I start crushing it with my bare hands. The weapon breaks and all there is left is green sparkly dust. I turn to face the akuma, who have reverted back to their human forms, and notice that "Wendy" isn't with them. She must have been one of the unlucky akuma, who was shot by that exorcist's gun shot. I pity her. She didn't have a choice of becoming an akuma, and I'm sorry that she was dragged into this war. I blame Adam for it, because he turned her into an akuma in the first place, but throwing my anger at him wouldn't solve anything.

I realise that I have to obtain that golden cane from that old geezer. I walk up to his house, with the remaining akuma behind me, and open the door quietly. I see the old man sleeping on a comfy bed, holding onto his golden cane. I am relieved that he isn't awake, which would make it easier to steal his cane. I walk over to the geezer, looking how peaceful he is in his sleep. Calm and relaxed. I know taking his cane would be the same as taking his life, but at least he would rest peacefully and wouldn't have to worry about pain. I gently grab his cane and slowly take it away from him without waking him up. I begin to crush the green gems on the cane, which are the innocence fragments, and then I destroy that whole thing with my bare hands. I glance at the old man and notice he is paler and he has more wrinkles. He is no longer breathing, but he still looks peaceful. I put one hand on his left arm and whispers, "May you rest in peace."

I turn to the akuma and nod at them, telling them that our mission is complete. We walk out of the house, after that is over and Timcanpy flies out of my coat pocket and flies in front of me. I am about to touch him until he opens his mouth and I hear a voice coming out of him. The voice belongs to a familiar young lady, who I know as Road.

"Neah, I miss you so much~! Are you almost done your mission?" she says through Timcanpy.

It's like I'm talking on a phone.

"I just finished my mission, Road." I reply to her.

I turn to look at the dead exorcist, slung on my shoulder and add, "I also have a souvenir for you."

I can hear an exciting jump for joy coming from her on the line and then she says, "That's great~! I be here shortly to pick you up~"

She is later off the line and Tim closes his mouth. He flies around me and then he lands on top of my head. I pet him with my fingers and he seems to like it. When I am doing that, I am singing my Musician song in my head, and I am thinking about the Ark, where I live now. Suddenly, a portal appears in front of me. It's not Road's door, but it's one of those portals I usually summon whenever I play my song on the piano. I always thought I needed a piano to create those gates, but it appears that I could summon then in my head, whenever I think of the song "Musician". Road's door appears behind me and I turn to see my girlfriend walk out it.

"Neah~!" she exclaims cheerfully, as she jumps and gives me a hug.

She pulls back a bit and notices the dead exorcist on my shoulder.

"Y-you got me a new doll?" she asks.

I nod my head. She cheers loudly and squeezes me even tighter, thanking me multiple times. I pat her back, telling her she is suffocating me with her bear hug, and then she pulls back. She looks at the portal I summon and asks, "Where did that portal come from? It looks similar to your portals, whenever you play the piano."

"It is my portal." I reply, "I just learned that I could summon portals as well a few minutes ago, by thinking about my song and my destination. But since you're here, do you want to try out my new portal?"

Road tilts her head in confusion. I extend a hand to her and say, "Just this once. If we end up in a wrong diminution, we'll use your door to get us back home."

She looks at my hand and takes my offer. We face my portal, which I hope would bring us back to the Ark, and walk through it, along with the remaining akuma.

After we went through the portal, we look around to see where we are. The place is dark and gothic, with decorations all over the place. This place definitely looks like the Ark and I am happy that my portal took us to the right place.

"Neah, your portal did take us back home!" Road says excitedly.

She then hugs me again tightly, saying how proud she is. She releases me with a smile, but before she runs back to her room, I give her the exorcist corpse, so she could have another doll. She gladly takes the dead body, thanks me with a kiss on the cheek and heads her way to her room. Since she is heading there, I make my way the Adam's headquarters to inform him that I completed my quest. Once I get there, Adam welcomes me in and asks me about my quest. I pull out Cell Roron to show him my progress. The exorcist's name, which was written on the wall in the prison cell, was no longer there because the prisoner in this card washed it off.

"Hotaaaaarrruuuuu Miiisssoooo haaaas beeeeeeen eeeerrraaaassseeddd" it says.

Adam gives me a wide smile and says, "Congratulations, Neah! I am very proud of you!"

I smile back at him, happy for the compliment. But then I see his smile fade and his face is filled with concern. He takes his gaze off of me and starts worrying about the exorcist. He mentions that there are more recruits and they are getting stronger and stronger. He then mentions that we haven't found "the Heart" yet and he is wondering if one of the exorcists has it, which is another thing he's concern about. I don't feel comfortable about this situation. I know it's horrible that the exorcists are stepping up their game, but I can't let Adam put too much pressure on himself.

"Don't stress yourself, too much." I say, as I extend a hand to him. "I would always be by your side, no matter what. You also have the rest of the family, like Road, Wisely, and everyone else."

Adam seems to have calmed down and takes my hand as a thank you. I smile at him, accepting his thanks. I ask him some questions about the akuma. How did he really create them?

"Well, Neah, my boy," he starts, "remember what I've said about human sacrifices?"

I widen my eyes. It's exactly what Wendy's mother had told me. Adam did sacrifice humans to create akuma, but why do I care about a human's death. I have a reason to dislike them, if they see me as a monster. But what if there were some humans, who would accept us for who we are? My old family didn't treat me like a monster, and they were purely human, although, they don't know exactly what I am. They are aware of my transformation, but not my power, or the fact that I killed many exorcists. Regular humans are confusing to me. I either pity them or hate them, but what are they to me?

-Noah's Ark-

(Allen's POV)

The memory is over and as usual, Wisely is exhausted. Road is here earlier, with a cart of food, ready to feed me. The food that she brought in is Lobster, carrots and cucumbers.

"Why hello~ Allen~" she sings, "It looks like I came here just in time~"

She turns to the cart and sees Wisely grabbing a plate, serving his own food. He looks up and sees Road's irritable expression and says, "What?! I haven't even had supper yet!"

Road sighs and allows her brother to gather his food. Wisely later walks out of the room, taking his supper with him. The Earl is staring down at me, with his usual creepy smile and pulls out a sheet of paper.

"I received a message from Fiddler, while we were exploring through Neah's memories." he says, "The letter is for you, and Fiddler told me that it was written by that young bookman friend of yours. Lavi, was it?"

He begins to read the letter out loud.

"Dear Allen,

It's too bad that the Noah locked me up in a cell. Now we can't talk to each other face to face. I'm sorry that I am ineffective right now, but I hope help would come and rescue us from this hell hole.

-Lavi"

I feel sorry for him. I wish the Noah could've left him and Bookman alone. If they weren't kidnapped, they wouldn't be in this situation, suffering through pain and misery. I understand why the Noah Clan wanted me, because of the Noah memories implanted in me, but dragging my friends or allies into this was unforgivable. I also hope that someone would come and rescue us.

"Oh, so he thinks your exorcist pals are going to save you." the Earl says with a chuckle. "We'll make sure that never happens on our watch. I don't know what we're going to do with that young bookman brat, but you, Allen Walker, are never going to leave this Ark."

I didn't like his last sentence at all. It's making me feel weak and helpless. If only there is a way I could escape this place, which I call prison. The Earl bids me goodnight and leaves the room. Road fills up a plate with the food she brought into the room and comes up to me.

"You must be hungry, Allen~" she sings, "I hope you like this dinner I brought for you~"

She starts feeding me the lobster, which tastes pretty good, and then she feeds me the vegetables. She feeds me until there is no more food on the cart. Road kisses me on the cheek on sings, "See you tomorrow, Allen~"

She skips out of the room so I could rest. I thought about Neah's memory, today's memory to be exact, wondering why humans are a concern to him. He somewhat pities them, but he has some kind of hatred for them. I fell asleep for the night and dreams about Neah running in a dark hallway and stops to see a silhouette, who cries, "Why are you doing this, Neah!"

Triforce: Hey guys, thanks for-

Group of Villagers: *barges into my house*

Random Villager #1: *points at me* There she is! GET HER!

Triforce: Wait, WHAT?!

Group of Villagers: *tackles me to the ground, ties my wrists together and takes me out of my house*

~3 hours later...~

Triforce: *standing in the center of a town, about to be hung* WHAT THE HELL?! WHY ARE YOU PLANNING ON HANGING ME?! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!

Executioner: You are hereby arrested for murder, witch craft, and cleaning identities! This town believes you are either a witch, serial killer or a member of the mafia! How do you plea?

Triforce: WHAT?! I'M JUST A SIMPLE FANFICTION AUTHOR! I DIDN'T DO ANY OF THAT HORRID S*** YOU'VE JUST MENTIONED!

Random Villager #2: (To Executioner) DON'T LISTEN TO HER! SHE'S LYING! I KNOW SHE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A HEARTLESS WITCH!

Triforce: Hey, I remember you! You're Lady Burswood, ARN'T YOU?!

Lady Burswood: You are correct! (To Executioner) HANG HER NOW! SHE IS GUILTY! SHE MUST BURN IN HELL FOR ALL I CARE!

Executioner: (To me) Well, Miss TriforceNinja, it looks like everyone in town has voted guilty. *puts the hanging rope around my neck* Any last words?

Triforce: *tick mark* I HATE HOW PEOPLE VOTE IN THE GAME "TOWN OF SALEM"! I ALWAYS END UP BEING HUNG, EVEN IF I'M INNOCENT! I BETTER STOP PLAYING IT, BUT THE GAME IS TOO ADDICTING!

Lavi: *comes out of nowhere* BIG HAMMER, LITTLE HAMMER! EXTEND! *he extends his hammer and hits the executioner, before he executes me* *He rushes to me and removes the rope from my neck* Are you alright, Tri-chan?

Triforce: Yeah, I'm fine. Please take me back home. (To Villagers) Oh, and by the way, *takes out my laptop out of nowhere and shows the villagers my fanfics* I really am just a simple fanfiction author.

Random Villager #3: Oh, I guess we owe you an apology.

Lady Burswood: I still don't trust her! She's a f***ing witch, and that is all she is!

Triforce: *glares at Lady Burswood" I'm ONLY a which if I'm ever playing "Town of Salem". (To Villagers) That goes for being an arsonist, serial killer or mafia member as well. *darkens mood* But if you ever assume I am one of those characters, I'll banned you from reading my fanfics and I'll throw a triforce shuriken of shame at you. Oh, and by the way, Lady Burswood is Godfather, so hang her up.

All Villagers: *glares at Lady Burswood*

Lady Burswood: SHE'S LYING! SHE'S ONLY TRICKING YOU WITH HER WITCH CRAFT!

All Villagers: *tackle Lady Burswood, tie her wrists, takes her to the executioner* *they all made their votes, including Lavi and I*

Executioner: Lady Burswood, everyone in this town voted guilty! I would usually ask for last words, but we are running out of time and I hate you, so... *puts rope around her neck and kicks the box from underneath her*

Lady Burswood: *chokes while being hung and dies*

Executioner: *checks her for evidence* *finds a note that says: They would never suspect I'm Godfather* Wow, I guess she was Godfather, or should I say Godmother, since she's a woman.

~Back to my place~

Lavi: Well, I'm glad I had came in just in time to save you, before you got hung. But why did this chapter take so long to update.

Triforce: Similar excuses on what I put in the A/N in Ch. 7.

1. I have mother****ing writer's block

2. I was busy with other stories like, "The Noah Curse" and specials like my "April Fools" or "Valentines Day" story

3. Distracted with other stuff, like video games. (Hey, I sometimes need a break form typing! I'm a busy woman with a job and everyday s***, so give me a break!)

4. Stress from everyday crap, like work. (As I just mentioned)

5. I DIDN'T GET A SINGLE REVIEW AFTER MY LAST UPDATE! (Seriously, reviews build up motivation, so I could type faster!)

Neah: Since when do you censor strong language and why do I have this confusion about humans? AND WHY DID YOU MAKE RASUTORA KISS ME?! I thought you weren't putting yaoi in this. I look like a pansy in this chapter.

Triforce: I didn't plan to put strong language in this story, so whenever I use that type of language in my A/N, I'll censor them. (For this story and "The Noah Curse" ONLY!) Your confusion with humans will be explained in another chapter. I made Rasutora a flirtatious character, looking for lust from either a male or a female. (What is wrong with me?) Oh, I wasn't that happy with this chapter either. Well, your human concerns and your family concerns made you look like a pansy, but you seem badass in the exorcist fight. (*sigh* even though that scene could of been longer) There could've been a better plan of getting you to leave your family, but I've chose to create that method.

Neah: I hate that writers block of yours.

Triforce: *sigh* Me too. (To Readers) There is a new poll on the top of my profile page of "What Laven story should I make". I have 4 votes so far, because this isn't the first time I've mentioned this poll... Well... It's the first time I'm doing it in a "Noah's Creed" chapter. The modern story is winning by 3 points and the fairy-tale one has one point. PLEASE VOTE NOW! Have any questions... maybe at least give me some ideas on what I could do for Allen's POV, either before or after the memory. (I won't accept ideas, which could free Allen or any character death in Allen's POV)

Lavi: Please Review!

Neah: Triforce does NOT own D. Gray-Man or Town of Salem. She's just messed up.

Triforce: *glares at Neah* Don't make me throw a shuriken at you. (To Readers) Please leave a fav and/or follow, and keep your reviews positive, constructive and friendly. *looks at watch* Wow, 12:50am... No wonder I'm so tired... Well, goodnight guys... (heads to bed)
