Soft mumurs and low candlight enshroud the main hall of Fairy Tail as they make preperations for the impending battle. Erza, Levy and Makarov quietly look over a map at the bar with Mirajane. While Lucy sits at a table softly sighing. Wakaba suddenly bursts through the door " Master, Magnolia is under siege!"

Everyone looks to Wakaba as Makarov hops off his barstool "How bad is it Wakaba?"

Wakaba shaking utters "Head up to the balcony and see for your self"

The entire guild heads up to the guild balcony only to see the majestic city of Magnolia engulfed in a sea of flames.

Makrov softly sighs as he looks to his charges. "It looks like the enemy has made the first move."

Macao nods to Makarov "We have to save the city if we can."

Makrov turns to Macao. " You are right. Take a few and see what you can do to try and save the city. We have word that Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus have answered our request for reinforcements so they will be trying to get into the city."

Erza nods "Agreed if anything we should try to get to the Fairy Dragon and ask if we can utilize it as a war room so we have a central place to work from.

Natsu looks to Erza "Why not here?"

Erza eyes widen as she notices a small force charging up the path to the guild hall "That is why."

Screams are heard in the main hall as all the members return to the main hall to see Levy and Gajeel battling Dark Unicorn grunts. Gajeel yells in between attacks "The bastards blew the door down!"

Erza requips to her Knight armor and yells "We need to get them out of here if we are going to get out into the city." The wizards battle the Dark Unicorn grunts and eventually push them out of the hall. Everyone rushes into the city to help save it leaving Levy, Merqui, Kimi with Makarov.

Makarov looks to his three charges "Why aren't you going with the rest of them?"

Kimi sighs "That fight was … too easy."

Merqui nods "I think they have something else up their sleeve

A voice booms "You aren't as stupid as you look girlie."

The four look to the door and see Tibo of Twilight Ogre sneering at them.

Tibo gleefully looks at the barren guild hall and demonically smiles "Well well what is this? The famed Makrov alone with three little pussies how convienent. Taking this pathetic guild out might be easier than I expected."

Kimi bursts into a bright blueish white aura "Insult me and my friends again and I swear there will be hell to pay!"

Tibo sneers at Kimi "Oh really like you protected your sister? Hell you couldn't protect your own master if your life depended on it !"

Merqui suddenly engulfs into a deep blue hue "That is it you bastard I have had enough of you mocking and disrespecting my sister. I am so going to kick your ass!" She charges Tibo landing two hard left right punches into his face. Unphased he dodges Merqui's next two punches only to be broadsided by the image of the word "wind" that sends him flying into the wall. Kimi quickly grabs Tibo and slams him through a wooden table. It explodes under the impact sending plates and splinters all over the hall.

Before Tibo can move Merqui grabs him and grabs him by his shirt and stares him down "If you were smart you would leave... NOW!"

A voice erupts from over Merqui's Shoulder "No you made the mistake of attacking Tibo. " She looks to see Baraboster standing in the doorway. Baraboster stares at Makarov "You really had to push it to this point didnt you."

Makarov stares back "We are not the ones that allied themselves with a dark guild."

Baraboster utters "We did what we had to for the sake of preservation. You morons have made this land a total laughingstock. And Sabertooth and us agree that it is time to take you out." Baraboster charges at Makarov but is met by Kimi blocking his way

Kimi demomically glares at Baraboster "You want our Master? Your going to have to go through me."

Baraboster glares at Kimi "Sorry I don't touch ladies its bad taste for my character."

Kimi punches Baraboster, sending him reeling Kimi utters "Too bad for you I am not a lady. As I said you want our master your ass is going to have to go through me first."

Tibo pulls Baraboster back and utters "Leave all of this to me remember we have bigger plans." Baraboster nods. "Very well clean this mess up and leave nothing behind." He quickly leaves the hall leaving Tibo to fend for himself

Tibo paces the hall as he stares down the three girls haughtily pulling out his large kanabo . "So which of you wants to die first or become my bitch?" His eyes pan the room for a few seconds and then rest on Levy. "Ah.. Iron Gajeels little bitch. I think I'll start with you first." Levy's eyes widen as she quickly evades a sweeping strike from Tibo she quickly counterattacks "Solid script Oil!" An image of the word "oil " appears and then splatters on the floor in front of Tibo . Tibo ignores Levy's spell and charges at her again but doesn't see the puddle of oil. He slips falls and slides headfirst into a wall. Enraged, he gets up and stares at Levy his mace glowing with power. "You are going to pay for that!" He raises his mace to the air and bolts of magic energy erupt from it hitting Levy Kimi and Merqui. Makarov dodges the attack and glares at Tibo.

Kimi Merqui and Levy try to get to their feet but are unable to do so. Kimi gasping utters "What the hell was that power?"

Merqui adds while gasping " I don't know I didn't know he had that kind of power"

Levy grabs her shoulder as she sits up "He has a Lacrima infused to his mace. A very powerful one at that."

Tibo sneers more at the fallen girls "That's right and since you dont want to play nice I guess I will have to kill you." Tibo then points the glowing mace at Makarov "Starting with you!" The mace charges up and unleashes a bolt of macigal energy. Merqui quickly jumps infront of Makarov and takes the hit sending Merqui flying into the wall and taking out the back shelves of the bar.

Kimi shrieks "MERQUI!" as she checks on her sister Merqui weakly replies "I am fine. Protect our master."

Tibo glares at Makarov "Why do these kids care about you so damn much!"

Kimi quietly rises to her feet after checking on Merqui "Because the master for some us is like a father to us. He has shown us that even in the darkest of times there is always someone that we can rely on to give us courage guidance and yes even punishment for our wrong doing." Kimi softly cries "He is... my family Kimi rages as her body engulfs into a bright blue hue.

"And I will be damed if anyone hurts my family! I wont allow it! You are going to have to kill me if you are going to take him from me !" Makarov softly smiles as Kimi staggers to put herself between Tibo and himself.

Kimi breathing heavily utters "I am not going to let anything happen to you. I will gladly give my life to protect everyone and everything here."

Tibo shrugs " I don't know what the hell you are talking about but whatever if you have that big of a death wish then let me grant it for you." Kimi stares down Tibo as his mace slowly starts glowing as it charges for power.

A piercing Bird like cream erupts in the hall as feathers fall around everyone. Kimi looks up to see Lisannsa in her Take over Bird magic form trying to wrestle the mace away from Tibo with her talons .

Tibo growls as he fights to get his mace free "You bitch give it back!"

The mace flies from Tibos grip as the magical energy inside discharges causing it to hit Tibo and Lisanna . Lisanna flies into a wall and lands on a table sending more splinters and plates everywhere as she lands her magic fails her and she reruns to her normal form.

Kimi quickly takes advantage of Tibos stunned state and charges him placing two jabs a left cross and an upper cut into Tibos stomach and jaw sending him flying out the guild hall door. As he hits the door Kimi yells "And don't ever come back!"

As Tibo flys out Goldmine of Quattro Ceberus walks in and surveys the scene he softly laughs "Always making a mess of your guild eh Macky?"

Makarov softly smiles "Goldmine what brings you here?"

The Quattro Ceberus guild master nods "We have heard what has happened here in Magnolia I have broght my guild to help in the city. We will not be engaging in combat that is for you Lamia Scale, and Blue Pegasus to handle."

Makarov nods. "It is appreciated." Goldmine leaves the hall as Makrov tends to Lisanna he turns to Kimi Meruqi and Levy "You three help out on the war front."

Levy turns to Makarov "What about you? Are you going to be okay defending the hall by yourself?

Makarov nods "I will be fine besides someone has to tend to the injured." The three girls quickly leave the hall. Just as a soft glow of light appears in hall. Makrov softly smiles and utters "Ah first master, this is not what I wanted to happen."

The small woman with long blonde hair nods to Makarov "I know it is not what you intended but is has come to pass. She softly walks around the hall.

"This guild has rebuilt and grown up so well." She turns to Makarov "You should be proud at what you have done."

Makarov smiles "I would be if it were not for our situation." Mavis softly sighs "The war..."

Makarov nods "They seem hell bent on wiping us out "

Mavis nods "Just like Precht and Ivan before. If you believe in your heart that we can win this war. Then that is all that matters. Just know sixth master that this war does not have to be on your shoulders. You have a great group of members that will selflessly defend our values and beliefs. Rely on them to win this war for us."

Makarov nods "I see. Are you saying that I don't not need to fight in this war?

Mavis softy shakes her head "I feel that you will have to enter the fray at some point but victory does not have to come from your hand." She softly looks at Lisanna whom is struggling to get to her feet Mavis offers her hand to Lisanna whom accepts. As she walks to the infirmary she turns back to Makarov "Remember that we are all in this together, united nothing can stop us, Remember that well sixth master."

Makarov nods as Mavis slowly helps Lisanna back down to the infirmary

Erza arrives at the Fairy dragon seeing that is under attack by Sabertooth minions. She helplessly watches as the owner tries to battle the minions that are trying to push him out of the door way.

Erza frustrated requips into her purgatory armor and yells "That is it you have done enough. You have damaged our guild set fire to our city and now your going to take away the one place we have to call our own... I WONT LET YOU HAVE IT!" She rushes in slicing 4 minions down as three more try to jump and tackle Erza to the ground. she quickly turns blocking their attacks with her sword, her immense strength shoves them away and sends them landing on their back. The grunts quickly regroup and try to rush Erza again but are met with three sharp punches . The grunts recover only to see Natsu Gray and Elfman before them.

Natsu demonically stares at the grunts "You want to mess with my favorite place to eat eh .. not going to happen … you bastards have pissed me off and now.." he slams his fists together causing them to erupt into flames. "I am all fired up!" Gray nods behind Natsu " sorry but you chumps arent touching the Fairy Dragon they have the best ice cream."

Erza chips as her eyes glisten "and the best strawberry cake."

Elfman nods "Defending our favorite food hole is a MAN! And as a MAN i'll kick your ass LIKE A MAN!" He quickly goes into a full take over and glares at the grunts.

The grunts now bewildered slowly back away and retreat from the pub.

Erza and the group enter the pub to see it still in tact. As they sit down Gray cracks his knuckles and asks "These guys are are far better organized than they were the last time they attacked us. Who the hell is leading them.

Mavis enters the pub and utters "That would be Tatsuoere Moritsu."

Gray looks to Mavis as she softly walks around the pub "Never heard of the guy."

Mavis turns to Gray " I honestly wouldn't expect you to know him as he has been alive nearly four hundred years."

Everyone gasps at the remark. Levy quietly pipes up " Wait... wasn't he the wizard that tried to find the one magic that lead to Oracion Seis trying to seek it out recently?"

Mavis nods "Yes it is the exact same man that the council has had trouble with ever since I was first master."

Erza intently asks "What can you tell us about him master?"

Mavis Shyly turns away "I really don't think this would be the proper time for me to explain what I know about him."

Nastu gently turns Mavis around " We need to know how to beat this bastard or we wont have anything to call home to come back to."

Gray nods. "As much as I dont want to agree with Natsu he is right we need to know as much as we can about him in order to maybe find something that can make this prick tick.

Mavis nods " Very well I will tell you everything I know about Tatsuoere."

She peacefully sits on the bar as everyone gazes at her " Tatsuoere was a great wizard that lived at the end of the age of dragons."

"You mean the same dragons we tried to defeat after the Grand Magic games?" Hibiki asks as he enters the pub and takes a seat.

Mavis nods "Yes. It was around this time Tatsuoere had learned about the power that dragon slayers had and thought that the only magic that could be greater was the "one magic" or the magic that started all the magic we know now.

Erza quiet;y inquires. "Do we know what happened to him between then and now?"

Levy happily adds "We do. According to the lore and legends passed down Tatsuoere spent most of his life trying to locate the one magic with his student at the time Zerif."

Everyone shudders at Zerifs name. Gray asks quietly "You dont mean to say..."

Levy nods "Zerif was his student … and his test subject."

Natsu looks up from the table. "His test subject?"

Levy again nods "Tatsuoere used Zerif as his guinea pig for testing theories of the one magic. All the theories failed but the effects remained from all of the testing. It is the reason that while Zerif is very powerful he is very quiet.

Hibiki adds "Wait.. Zerif never had a mean streak or a lust of power after all of the testing."

Mavis interjects "No Zerif was just the end result of Tatsuoeres lust for the one magic. He obsessed over it so much it eventually corrupted him. That corruption spread into his testing that he performed on Zerif."
Gray puzzled asks "That how the hell does Zerif tie into Acnologia?"

Hibiki utters "That maybe in part that they are tied together through the testing that both endured. Legend has it that Zerif created Acnologia by him giving a man dragon slayer magic. Legend has it that the man used the magic so much that he himself became a dragon. The truth is that Tatsuoere was able to locate the source of the one magic by tracing it back though the orgins of dragon slayer magic. He then used that knowledge to corrupt and torture his own son and caused him to become Acnologia. How him and Zerif are tied together is that supposedly Zerif was abandoned at a young age and became like a second son to Tatsuoere. It was due to the exposure of dark and deadly magic that caused everything that we see now. Tatsuoeres lust for power grew so much that he tried to invade the council."

Mavis silently nods "The council called upon a young new guild to try and stop Tatsuoere. There were able to do so with the help of the council, the ten wizard saints. Tatsuoere was banished from Fiore shortly afterwards. There is speculation that he is one that helped start the first dark guild and that his influence spread to others thus causing the majoe guilds that we know now.

Gray nods" Well we did take Oracion Seis out so that takes them out of the picture."

Makarov gingerly enters the pub. " It is said that this man is the leader of Dark unicorn which is the right hand of Tatauros. He is nothing you want to snub your nose at. He is a real threat.

"Indeed he is which is why the council is watching this very closely" adds Lahar as he also joins the others in the pub.

Kimi quickly interjects "Wait why attack my village then?"

Makarov quietly asks "Do you remember the name of your village?"

Kimi nods "The name was changed a few years ago but the old name was called Draconis."

Makarov nods "Do you understand why now it was attacked?"

Kimi shaked her head "No I don't"

Makarov starts again "It is said that the decedents of the first dragons slayers were ridiculed and mocked for their magic. In order to preserve themselves and their magic they built a village nearly two hundred years ago and called it Draconis. It was a very peaceful and prosperous village. But it contained dark secrets that could lead one to finding the way to achieving the one magic again. This is what Tatsuoere was seeking out when he attacked your village. His quest to master the one magic and become the most powerful wizard in the land is not yet complete. He knows the Magic Council has all the secrets of the one magic. It is why he is trying to take over Magnolia."

He then turns to his charges "My brats we are the last line to the council if Magnolia falls there will be nothing to prevent Tatsuoere from making a march on Era. We have to stand our ground here!"

Mavis nods to Makarov. "You are right but know that he has ha time to learn new skills and crafts he is much more powerful than when we first faced him four hundred years ago. I do not think that even now the ten wizard saints could defeat him."

Natsu flips over a table and rages "We dont need the damn wizard saints. This bastard wanted to screw with dragon slayer magic then that is what we need to kill him!"

Erza's eyes widen at Natsu's remark and looks to Makrov "Do we even stand a chance in this fight?"

Natsu Manically laughs "Hell with six dragon slayers back full time we wont have any problem beating his ass."

"Make that nine" a voice echos.

Everyone turns to the voice to see Sting, Rouge and Cobra standing at the door way.

Makrov raises an eyebrow "What brings you three here I should have two of you taken to the council for your actions."

Sting kneels before Makarov and utters "Master Makarov, you would have every right to turn us in and I would not try to stop you. However..." he raises his head "Rouge and I have had a change of heart."

Gray grits his teeth "A change of heart? You bastards nearly destroyed our guild hall almost killed a few of us on Mt. Hokable and now you want to say you have had a change of heart? He rages as he charges Sting " What makes me think I don't believe and that I should kick your ass!." Gray runs face first into Gajeel. Gajeel sternly looks at Gray and shakes his head at him.

Gajeel turns to Sting and Rouge. "What changed? Was the thrill of beating everyones ass not what it was cracked up to be or did you just get tired of the same old bullshit?"

Rouge softly utters as Lector and Frosch sit by quietly "After the magic Games Minerva Took leave and then returned to overthrow Sting as the guild master. It was her that orchestrated all the attacks against you. We sadly followed her orders until she decided to ally us with Dark Unicorn and ordered us to annihilate everyone in Fiore. This was not the guild that we wanted Sabertooth to become" he softly sobs "We had just became a family like you guys until.. until.. " he quickly grabs Frosch and cries into the frog like exceed"

Sting softly utters "It was at that point we had had enough. We left Sabertooth just shortly before the order to invade was given" he flashes his left shoulder now bare of the ink of Sabertooth

Natsu then inquires "Then why bring Cobra here?"

Cobra softly answers. "Kinana and I had plenty of time to talk after Jellal convinced the council to release me during the dragon invasion. She showed me that there were better things in life than just power." He turns to Makarov "She taught me what it meant to be accepted and appreciated much like I have heard you have done with everyone hereand with her ." Cobra boldly walks to Makarov and kneels before him. "Although I am not worthy of the kindness and compassion that I know you have. I wish to atone for my ways and become a part of this guild."

Makarov nods and looks to Sting and Rouge "And what of you two do you feel the same way?"

Lector boldly speaks up "Sting-kun does even though he will not admit it. " Makarov looks to Rouge "What about you lad are you willing to become one of my brats?" Frosch cheerily adds " Me thinks Rouge would be happy here. We need a family" he turns to his master "Right?" Rouge quietly nods through his tears.

Erza looks to Makarov "Are you sure about this master?"

Makarov looks to Erza "There is only one way to find out." He then looks to Cobra Sting and Rouge. "I will putting you three with Crime Sorciere for now until after this invasion is over. If you can convince Jellal that your intentions are honest and true then I will consider recruiting you into Fairy Tail. But if you give Jellal any reason not to trust you then he has every right to turn you over the magic council."

The three nod as Makarov looks to Erza "Now since that is settled we need to figure out a way to win this battle, we need to mainly defend the city the best way we can.

Levy sheepish asks "Couldn't we use the Guildarts formation? It might help reduce some the damage to the city"

Guildarts sighs "Really master the one thing you decide to use to protect the city from my magic you want to use for war?"

Erza nods "It might be the best chance we have to preserve the city or what is left of it."

Makarov nods "I agree. The rest of you go to the east forest and take out their forces at the cathedral. We can only hope that will slow them down."

Everyone nods to each other as they understand what has to be done. Everyone quielty marches out the Fairy Dragon as the last member leaves Makarov utters while crying "Be careful my brats... come back in one piece."
