So Sorry! I have no idea what happened to my last Chapter! So yeah... Sorry for that... Hope this works...

Forgive me...

The third door on the right came into view quickly. Alex had to move fast, in order to 'protect' Peter until this whole escape thing blew over. Alex entered the cell, taking point at the back wall so she could see both the cell door and glass. She had to make sure she could hide as well, using the brick of a bed in the middle of the room as her hiding place. Her mind began to wonder.

Why am I helping these people? Those who wanted Sylar dead.

Am I pregnant now with Sylar's child? If I am, will they see their father if the future changes?

These thoughts kept swimming around her head before there was the thunder of footsteps that brought her from her own thoughts. Alex moved away from the corner of the room and took position by the 'bed', near Peter's feet. The footsteps grew louder until she heard the pushing of the cell door. Raising off the floor she pointed the gun in the direction, only to be faced with a very shocked Sylar.

"Jesus, don't do that" she lowered the gun and he moved forwards. "How did you get that?" he gave her a look, silently hinting that she probably killed someone for it. "Don't worry" she tried to ease his mind. "A guard gave it to me, I told him I was going to protect Peter, making sure that no one tried to take him. So he handed it over" she allowed the gun to rest on her stomach as she spoke. Sylar nodded his head, accepting what she said before he ripped the tube out of Peter's nose.

"What are you doing?" she asked, moving around the bed to the other side, opposite Sylar. "Peter?" Alex watched as Peter's head began to move. "Peter, you need to come with us" Alex began to lightly slap Peter's face in an effort to wake him, while Sylar began to undo his restraints. "Urgh, what are you doing?" Peter said groggily, as the last restraint came undone.

"I need your help" As quick as a flash, Peter rolled off the side of the 'bed' causing Alex to stumble to the side and raise her gun. "Get away from me" Alex had to run in front of the cell door as Sylar said, "No, no, no, no, no, no" and stopped chasing Peter. "I'm not going to hurt you" Peter had stopped too, in front of the cell door and in front of Alex.

"Doesn't matter, you already did" Peter said back. Alex rolled her eyes at the behaviour. It was like dealing with two year olds, she turned away from the two, still listening in but looking out for anyone who may want to hurt them. "You gave me this hunger. Made me a monster" Peter said, his voice gravelly and deeper than usual. "I can't control it. I'm just like you" Alex rolled her eyes. "Told ya not to get it" she muttered.

"I don't wanna be there anymore. I'm trying to be different" Alex grew mad at that statement. If you wasn't under her control, she thought, I would have killed her over a week ago. The guards came back and Alex moved closer to them to talk. "Everything okay Miss?" one of them asked as the others eyed Sylar and Peter. "Everything is fine" she stated, not really interested in talking. "Do you want us to take over?" she shook her head. "That's okay Lieutenant. It is lieutenant right?" the guard nodded. "I have it under control. We needed to talk with Peter"

Sylar walked out the room with Peter behind him, the guards all raised their weapons. "Lieutenant, lower your weapon. They are with me. We need to continue to search the base for the Level 5 prisoners" Alex commanded. "Lower the weapons" she growled at them, raising her own. The guards complied, they knew about her and Sylar, and that if she was to get hurt in any way, Sylar would kill them.

"Now, continue on your way. Keep searching" With that final order, the patrol of guards left leaving just the three of them. "Now" she said turning to them. "Where are we heading"

Alex kept guard as Sylar spoke to Peter inside the medical room. Alex knew that the guards didn't trust Sylar, but if Mrs Petrelli did, then they did, whether they wanted to or not. She poked her head round the doorway, looking at the two boys as they stared down at their mother. "I'm going to quickly change into something more comfortable" she said to them, but was unsure whether they had heard her, so she left anyway. The wardrobe of a room was close by and she didn't need to travel long before she got to it.

Walking inside she decided on a pair of black combat trousers and a black t-shirt. Mrs Petrelli wanted her as comfortable as possible, so when Alex was asked about what type of clothes she wanted, she complied with black clothes. Putting the gun down, Alex began to strip and once she was in nothing but her underwear she quickly put on the clothes she picked.

Once she finished getting dressed, Alex put the strap to the gun back over her head and made her way back into the corridor, before heading back to the med room that everyone was in. Halfway there she heard a commotion; Yelling. Alex quickened her pace, practically running towards the room, but the commotion wasn't coming from the room, it was coming from a corridor a little further down.

"What the hell is going o-" Alex was cut off when someone slammed into her, making her fly backwards against the wall, just under the window. Alex stayed on the floor, watching what was happening in front of her, Peter was attacking Sylar and Sylar was fighting back. Sylar took a quick look to Alex, to check if she was okay, but upon turning around, Peter used the electricity power from Elle to pin Sylar to the wall.

Alex knew something had set them off, most likely Peter and his lack of control against the Intuitive Aptitude he acquired. Peter walked closer to Sylar only releasing him from the lightning so he could punch him in the face. Alex tried to get up, and upon succeeding, she jumped at Peter, landing on his back and delivering blows. "You're too weak to stop me" Peter growled, throwing her backwards and continuing to beat on Sylar.

Alex felt her anger rising and the ticking of the clocks in her head. "I know what it feels like now" Peter gave Sylar a big punch. "To have all this power" another punch, Alex cringed at the force that was used. Thank God for Regenerative healing, was the thing that came to mind. "I'm the one who is Special" Peter said one last time before knocking Sylar out cold.

"You" Peter pointed a hand at her and threw her to the wall, "Stay out of things that aren't your business" Alex couldn't even get out a yes before Peter had cut off her air supply. It seemed though, that Alex had the luck on her side when Peter released her throat and dropped her to the floor. Alex rubbed her neck as she watched Peter throw Sylar over his shoulder, before using his hand to push her in front of him. "Take me back to the Cell I was in" nodding once, Alex did as she was told, leading Peter to the cell he was in, not even an hour ago.

"You aren't you Peter" she said, "What happened to the guy who saved the cheerleader?" Peter let out a snort of sorts, signalling to Alex, who hadn't turned round, that he was chuckling. "No idea, but I like this ability" Alex rolled her eyes, the hunger had already begun to control him, cause him to become evil. "So... What else can you do?" Peter asked her as they turned a corner.

"Me? Nothing. Just regenerate" she said truthfully, well it was the half truth. "Don't lie to me" Peter growled. "I'm not" she huffed back. "The Chanti virus, when it hit, took my other ability. Near killed me" Alex stopped walking as they made it to the cell. "Get in" Peter pushed her forwards into the room and moved away to place Sylar on the 'bed'. Alex used this opportunity to make her way to the door.

But she was unlucky.

Peter noticed her movement and used his telekinetic ability to throw her against the glass, trapping her there as he fixed the IV to Sylar's face. Alex struggled but couldn't do anything about it. Once Peter had finished strapping Sylar to the 'bed' he approached Alex. "Maybe you should be more careful" With those last words, he left the room, shutting the door behind him and letting Alex go.

Huffing she sat on the floor at the back of the room so she could keep an eye on the cell door and glass. Checking that the gun was still working, she relaxed, allowing herself the comfort. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't wake Sylar. Not only did he probably need the rest, but she knew that he couldn't get them out of the cell. He was weak, and will be even weaker with the drug from the IV in his system. Maybe in a few hours, I could wake him up and make sure that he is okay before we get out. Alex settled down and began her watch on Sylar.

Alex got up from the slumber she never knew she entered, allowing her body to re-wake as she stretched. "Dammit..." She muttered before going to undo his restraints. "Mom... how are you here? You're sick." the voice brought Alex back to reality and she raised the gun as Sylar got up slightly off the concrete bed. I thought he was out? Alex thought to herself. "Peter doesn't want anything to do with me, he thinks I'm just a killer..."

Sylar sounded stronger with each word he said and Alex just watched him, confused. Who was he talking to? "This is where I belong..." he whispered and Alex shook her head, no idea what in the Hell was happening."In a cage..." he continued and all she knew, was Sylar was talking to himself, while she had a gun raised to an empty room.

"I couldn't escape if I wanted to, they're blocking my abilities..." Alex rolled her eyes and let off a huff of air. They were beginning to piss her off now, always showing her that she isn't really there. It was driving her mad. "I was going to help you Sylar..." She muttered , "Now I just want to get away from you..." Alex sighed and just watched him, she couldn't get them out anyway. She doesn't have telekinesis like he does.

Sylar opened his eyes and his restraints came off quickly. "Finally.." she muttered to herself. He sat up properly, ripping out the I.V from his nose where Peter had placed it before he got to his feet, waving his hand and forcing the door off of its hinges. Alex watched him, finally glad she could get out. She was going away, she wouldn't stay around them any longer. She couldn't.

"Bye Sylar!" She called to him, putting the gun down and heading down the halls to the complex. She didn't even get a reply, Sylar heading for the other direction. This is it. I'm actually able to go home... but What about Sylar...? The thought made Alex stop, turning back slightly to watch him go down the hall, back towards sickbay where his 'Mother' was lying.

Alex shook her head, Sylar didn't need her anymore. He had Peter, Nathan, Angela. All of them now. Alex, was alone once more... The thought saddened her, but she kept walking again, continuing down the halls till she made it back to the first floor of the building.

First stop. Special Central.
