Title: 100 Compliments
Author: Emo Barbie
Disclaimer: Perry would like to remind you that Emo Barbie owns nothing...and with all that blobbity blah blah stuff that she also doesn't own. Kay. Now run along and read the fic.
Extra: The Compliment in this one is a little...hard to find, cause it's kinda in Dr Cox's rant, tell me if you noticed it when you read it please. .
Also from now on I'm going to try and dedicate each chapter to someone...you know, it's kinda like a little fame...I would feel happy whenever one of my alerted author's on fanfiction talk about me on their chapters so yeah o3o
Part: 10/100
REWVIWERS:
Charm Shadow: Yes, this is Yaoi XD. Or as many like to say in english Gay...or Homosexual, though I myself am a fan of yaoi manga's and all so I know what you mean XD. I know it may not seem like it now, but it will eventually get there. After all there are ALOT of chapters too go.
Also I know this may seem weird, but I do indeed like to notice people that review, and I have noticed a few things like: I was going to dedicate this to catgrl106 cause she was reviewing almost every chapter (Randomerhere too), and though I thank both of you for reviewing my other scrubs fics I have decided that this chapter is
Dedicated to:
Kim Briggs: Cause she's reviewed and read like all my scrubs fandoms!

The two slips of paper clutched between his fingers mocked him, his eyes scanning the words printed across the top.
"So, Kelso stuck you with the conference, again?
Dr Cox glanced up from where he came to rest at the nurses station, stuffing the papers into his jacket pocket before giving a shrug.
"Yeah." He muttered towards Carla, Elliot suddenly jumping at his side.
"Oh! Who are you taking? Because you know me, I'm always ready to go if you were ever needing to choose someone with the expert knowledge of medicine, and you know, if you wanted a girl to go along." Elliot gave him a wink, something that did everything but seduce him. Pushing the hair out of her face she gave him a coy grin, leaning across the counter. Something that woman usually did when they were trying to win over a man, of course, Elliot Reid had all the seductive powers of a mop. "And just think, I'm both! I mean, I'm even a go-getter, a good pick-upper for all those times when you get down and you know-"
"No."
"Excuse me?" Elliot gave a small smile, cocking her head to the side.
"Never, nadda, nooo."
"Well I just thought-"
"Look Barbie, you are as useful as the very horrible manufactured 'Quicker Picker-upper', bounty, which is naut very useful, as it hardly did anything for my sons spaghetti mess last night. In fact, you are an annoying, bitchy little bumblebee that likes to buzz around annoying the hell out of me in anyway possible. No, actually, you're far more like a wasp. Buzzing around and jabbing me with all these little continuous questions like a thorn in my side. If you were a bumblebee at least you would die after the first question. Sad for me." He took a moment to collect his thoughts and remember where he had been going with this in the first place. "Point is: There is no way I would have ever consider taking you along."
"Oh." Elliot's smile fell at this, a look of hurt crossing her features as she returned back towards her chart.
Dr Cox smirked as he turned back towards the nurses desk, only to find himself coming face to face with a glaring Latina nurse. "What?"
"Then who are you taking?" The woman asked, withhold the retort she was ready to throw the other, knowing full well that it would only rile the other up more.
"Carla, if I knew that, I wouldn't be walking around this hospital with two train tickets burning a hole in my pocket." He grumbled, picking up his own chart from the counter before snapping it back down onto the counter almost instantly. "And Barbie, if you take one more step towards me...well, let's just say you won't be taking any more pretty pictures for your blog for awhile. And no, I don't read it." Dr Cox smashed down her question before it could even pass her lips, though it was obviously what she was going to say at the gleam in her eyes.
Elliot stood there for a moment, sheepishly looking him over, her foot ever so slightly moving towards him. "Don't." He snapped at her. Elliot's foot paused mid-step, her mouth hanging open like she wanted to say something, but as he continued to glare at her, her mouth finally snapped shut the same instant her feet snapped together. She let out a snort, like made her appear much like a pathetic raging bull, before she turned on her heels and stormed off. In most case just to save a little dignity.
"You know, you should be nicer to Elliot." Carla finally spoke up. "She lives for these trips, and she never gets to go on them."
"Yeah, well, she's not going on this one either." Dr Cox gave a roll of his eyes as he snatched his chart back up, giving Carla one last look before turning and heading off down the hall.

Even though the older doctor had thought he had made his point perfectly clear, Elliot had never actually quit. She had tired unrelentingly to get his attention, trying to maneuver her way in on his patients, working as many cases with him as possible and even trying to eat lunch with him. Which had ended with him not so "accidentally" shoving her tray off the table and onto the floor.
And though he had made it a point each and every time to stated that what she was doing was only proving his point from earlier, she insisted on pursuing him.
In fact, the only person he hadn't seen today was...
"Newbie." He latched onto the younger male's arm, a look of horror crossing J.D's face at the contact, as his eyes snapped from the hand up towards his mentor's face. "Where have you been all day?" Dr Cox demanded, unable to hide the clear annoyance that crossed his features, as the others eyes glanced around for an escape route. There were plenty of doors to run to, after all they were in the middle of the hallway, Dr Cox having been heading towards the nurses station and J.D obviously having just left it.
"W-what do you mean?" The other squeaked out, his hands clutching at the charts that he held. His eyes rimmed with fear and confusion, but there was also a tired look to them, if the dark circles under his eyes weren't evidence enough.
"What do you think I mean? If I didn't know any better I'd say you've been avoiding me all day."
"No..." J.D never looked directly at him, and this just seemed to annoy him even more. His hold on the others arm tightened, causing J.D to give yet another yelp of pain, and a small jump. "I've just been busy!" He quickly pushed out.
That was a load of horse shit.
"Really? Because I don't think that there's ever, in the life of me, been a time where you actually placed work before me. I mean, I do thank that unnamed God for this moment, because I actually don't have you following after me like the sad little peon you are, but today...Newbie, today, was actually a day that I was looking for that. Because you see, with your absence I've suddenly had Barbie at my back, and believe it or not there, Sarah, she is actually, more annoying then you. Granted, you are, in fact, a raving pain in my ass, but you...are this much-" Dr Cox held up two fingers to measure the distance, though he was sure that his fingers were anything more then a few millimeters apart. "Less annoying then little Ms. Dye job."
Dr Cox then proceeded to reach his hand into his pocket, his fingers brushing against the tickets that were resting just inside. "So I was-"
There was a sudden beeping, and J.D turned to glance down towards the waist band of his scrubs, pulling out the pager that was attached before he quickly glanced at the other. "Dr Cox...even though I do love these little rants. I...have patients to take care of." J.D quickly pushed past the other doctor, his voice not much more of a quivering mutter as he tried to force as much Bravado into his statement as possible, but it was all lost as he practically ran off down the hall, like a dog with it's tail between it's legs.
Dr Cox sighed as he turned his eyes towards the ceiling, pulling his hand out of his pocket before turning down to examine the tickets. In all truth he had had an idea of who he was going to bring from the very beginning. To the point of where the name was already printed across the ticket. He had...like it or not, asked Kelso for the trip, Kelso had been annoyed that his vacation time was being interrupted by a stupid conference.
Oh, the old bastard was glad to agree; if there was anything that Bob Kelso hated the most, it was being robbed of his vacation time. His second was business trips that didn't involve him being able to get drunk and make a fool of himself. Not to mention when said conference resigned in Ohio.
So in the end he had wound up getting the tickets.
If anyone couldn't see that the John Dorian was overworked, depressed and in need desperately of something more then the "off days" he'd been getting, which didn't seem at all to help him, then they were blind. He had hoped that getting the kid the business trip and in the end as much of a "vacation" as he could offer the kid, and if he had to tag along so be it.
"Newbie, business trip, you and me." Dr Cox muttered, though of course it was to himself. The kid by now had been long gone. "Damn it, how hard is that?" The man glowered at the two tickets in his hand before finally pocketing them, turning on his heels and heading off towards the cafeteria. He wasn't in the mood to talk to Carla anymore.
Of course if he had at least continued on he would have noticed Jordan, Elliot's pager in hand and a smile on her face. The woman watching him before carelessly tossing the pager into a bed pan on one of the gurney off to the side of the walls, her heels clicking behind her as she made her way off towards the elevators.
~2 Hours Later~
"Hey Carla..." Carla glanced up from the computer she was hovering over as Elliot quickly made her way over, a look of panic evident on her face as she brushed back the hair from her face. "Have you seen my pager?"
"No." Carla gave a simple shrug of her shoulder's, between J.D and Elliot a missing pager was a normal around there. "Where did you last see it?"
Elliot paused a moment, mouth agape as she turned her eyes towards the ceiling. "I...don't know." She finally muttered her eyes still wide as they turned back down to look at Carla, the Latino letting out a sigh as she rolled her eyes.
So? What did you think? I'm sorry everyone. I know, I know, I haven't updated in a few days, I realize that so sorry, but hey! I wanted a break XD. And...I couldn't think of any good updates for any of my scrubs fanfics, sorry you guys. Also I realize that some of you are waiting on Drop Dead Doctor, and a few other Jdox fics of mine, and I promise...that I'll update them soon. Especially DDD{Drop dead doctor} ^_^ ….{Is it bad to talk about other fics your doing in an author's note O_o?...I know I was yelled at once for something like that}
READ AND REVIEW!
ALSO! IF YOU DIDN'T SEE IT: The compliment was the J.D was This |...| much less annoying then Elliot. Sorry if you didn't get that.
Also though the Jordan part to me seems a little bit...Lame. I wanted to point out that Jordan DOES in fact notice the little thing Cox and J.D seem to have. And though she is separated from the doctor, she derives so much fun from not only making life miserable for Perry.
