Chapter 10
Those same hands went over his hard body, feeling every ridge and muscle; her fingers played at the end of his shirt before lifting it up and over his head. Her eyes feasted on him; her touch left a trail of fire as she touch as kissed him in every place that was visible. She stopped for moment, paying special attention to the gold hoop in his right nipple. She heard him suck in a breath when she bit it, swirling her tongue around once, then twice before letting go. She never had so much fun tormenting a man into such pleasure. He was trembling at her touch, she could hear, actually hear, his heart pounding. It felt good. It felt so good that she held this much power over him.
Her fingers traced the waistband of his pants. She could see the impression of his penis growing hard and tight.
Well that was just no good. Poor thing could barely breathe.
With a twist and a pull, it was free, big, thick, and wanting, practically waiting for her touch for release and relief. And who was she to deny him?
Her motions were slow but she was surprised that her hands weren't clumsy. As if she had done this before. She stroked him up and down. Broderick's eyes were shut tight, his lips parted as his hips jerked up wanting more of her touch. She gave it to him and more. She shocked herself when she gave in to the urge of kissing the head, her tongue danced around it before taking it all in her mouth. She sucked and stroked and he exploded on her clothes.
His orgasm ripped through him like a storm. He never felt such pleasure. When she took him in his mouth, he felt his world explode, he pulled back just in time for come on that pretty dress he had bought for her. He sat up to her face flushed red with lust, she looked good enough to eat.
"My turn." He said, now with his newfound streghten, he gave her top one good tug. The steams tore, exposing her breast. She moaned as he massaged them, flicking his thumbs over her hard pink nipples. He missed the weight of them in his hands; missed the taste of her skin when he put on in his mouth. Her fingers ran through the thickness of his hair, holding him in place.
He crusied further, not missing a beat, he found her hot, wet and ready. His let his fingers in first, pushing into her folds. She cried out as she pumped in and out, the sound of her wetness made her hard again if not the smell of her arousal.
"Broderick." She panted; he felt her walls close in on his fingers. She shuddered, still holding on to his hair and then she let go, falling onto her back. He stood up, licking her juices from one hand while taking off his boots and pants with the other. He was going to have her. All of her, here and now; but she was going to beg for it.
"I want you." She said breathlessly. She never really wanted anyone before. Not her first boyfriend when she was fifteen. Not Liam; not like this. This need, this yearning, this craving; she needed him to take her before she died.
"You want me?" His voice was darkened with arousal as she cocked an eyebrow. He was like a sex god in front of her, naked and hard and wanting her.
"I want you." She nodded her head. " I need you." She damn near whimpered.
"Show me." She didn't know what he meant. "Show me you want me. That you need me. Prove it to me, Edlynia." She shivered when he spoke her name, the say he looked at her as he got back on his knees. But he didn't approach her, he didn't take her like she wanted him to. He wanted her to prove it. How? She was half naked, wet and ready. What more did he need. But as he sat back on his hunches still staring, she guess she would think of something.
Broderick watch with anticipation as she pulled as the lower half of her dress, showing what was hidden underneath. Her blue eyes locked with his as her hands roamed down, her legs spread wide for him. He harden more, if that was possible, as the sight of her, glistening from her own arousal, her folds were pink and swollen, teasing him even to come taste. She didn't stop there, shifting she turned her back to him and got on all fours. His nostrils flared as the sight before him. Legs still spread wide, he got full view of her, every intimate nook was there for him for the taking. He lost it when she entered her wet folds just as he did.
"I want you, Broderick." He moaned, her fingers going in and out allowing the musk of her scent to attack his senses. "I need you, Broderick." She looked over her shoulder. "Now."
Eddy nearly screamed when he grabbed her at her waist with such speed; she trembled when he growled in her ear. He took her, filling her completely as if she were made solely for him. He started to speak the language of his land which was foergin to her but she didn't care, this moment felt good, it felt amazing, it felt right.
As closed her eyes, she saw them on the beach of the Miami coast, walking around the waterfall in Puerto Rico; enjoying the hot springs in Japan. It was as if someone had hit rewind in her head as all the memories came flooding back to her. Every orgasm that flooded through her body, more and more of her memories were return.
"Edlynia." He chanted her name as if she would disappear if he didn't. He held on to her as another orgasm washed over him. She had came at least three times before he finally came again. Sweat bedded at their flesh. Her body was pinned under his but he couldn't get up; he didn't want to.
He rolled over, taking her with him, the traded places. She was still breathing heavily, coming down from an amazing high. She opened her eyes slightly; the dawn's light was just peaking over the horizon. She smiled, looking at the man that she had fallen in love with all over again.
"You know, this reminds me of the night we made love on the beach in Greece. We met the sunrise just like this."
He let out a moan, remembering that day. "Yes, it took forever to wash the sand away though." He let out a chuckle.
And then it hit him. His eyes flew open. He looked to see her loving face staring back. "What do you mean?" It couldn't be. "You…you remember?"
She smiled. "Mm-hm." She leaned in, kissing him on the tip of his nose. "I remember everything." Her eyes glazed over with tears. "I'm sorry." She cried out.
"No, no." Raising up, Broderick cradled her in his arms. "I'm the one that is sorry. I should have never agreed to Apollo's terms."
"Yeah, but you couldn't stay with me, you would have died and I wouldn't be able to live with that." She wiped her tears. "I think that would haunt me for the rest of my life." She framed his face with her hands. "You did it to protect me." She kissed him. "How'd I get so lucky?" They kissed again and took each other again at the sun greeted them.
Grace sat on the stone steps in front of her home as she watched Eddy play with her son. It seemed that every lesson or game that they played, Darius would always be eager to play and learn. She was a godsend since the moment she came on their door step.
When her son was born, she was bursting with pride and joy. She had given her husband an heir to his kingdom and as such, had named him after the great king so he would always be reminded that he had name to uphold and essentially succeed when the time came. But as time pass, she knew that he was somewhat different than the other dragon children. He didn't sprout his wings or breath fire like the others did when they were barely a year old. He didn't speak or play with others. He was always at her side. She figured he was shy but when his development didn't progress, she began to worry. Eddy brought out what he was hiding for so long putting her concerns to bed once and for all.
"Yay! Go D.J!" Grace held back her tears as her son floated a few feet off the ground. His wings small, but nonetheless beautiful fluttered as it supported his weight. It was only for a minute before his small feet touched the ground. Eddy cheered for him as did she; she couldn't be more proud.
"Daddy!" The small veirson of him, expect for the red hair, ran to her husband who was at her side. "See! See!" He jumped in his arms. "I fly!"
"Yes!" Darius chest swelled with pride, he kissed him on his temple. "I'm very proud of you, my son." His small face bloomed with happiness. He clapped his small hands in front of his face. He was very proud of himself too. He grinned before he jumped back down.
"Eddy!" He ran back to the woman. "Let's…. let's play game." He rummaged in her bag, pulling out his favorite puzzle. Grace realized that each month, it was getting larger and larger. There was once one wooden board, now there were five, all with different colors and shapes that went with it.
"I get points, Eddy." D.J mummured to himself as he threw more colorful blocks out of her brown bag.
"That's right. You need 20 more points and then you get a new toy."
"What are these points?" Darius asked as he walked over to the girl. Eddy smiled, opened a small book, filled with dates and symbols.
"Each lesson that we do and D.J completes on his own, he gets five points. When he gets to 50, he gets a treat whether it's a dessert or a new toy. It's an effective incentive for him so he'll learn." She pointed to a page. "He's completed his counting from 1 to 10. Identifying colors, and completed one puzzle board."
Darius smiled, he didn't know anything that she and her son did from day to day, but whatever it was his son enjoyed it. He watched as he started to put the blocks in certain slots that were colored and cut out. He finished one with ease, but the other ones proved to be more difficult. He crouched down, studying the piece in his hand, when he tried to fit on and it didn't go in, he thought he would throw it and cry like he normally would when he was frustrated. But no, he just huffed and looked at the other boards. He selected the right slot after a few more attempts.
"See, he's also learning not to beat himself up or throw tantrums when he gets frustrated. That's it's ok to make a mistake as long as you don't give up."
"Thank you." Darius touch her shoulder lightly. He saw the changes in his son once he warmed up to the new woman in the house. He was teaching him more and more every day. He feared that the numemous tutors he had hired wouldn't have be able to unlock what his son kept inside. He was grateful for her presence.
"Well…isn't this a sight to behold." Darius arched an eyebrow when he saw Layel and his family walking over the pasture. What the hell did they want?
Eddy looked at Darius's puzzled expression and followed his line of sight. She faked a gasp and smiled.
"Look at the most fairest girl in all of Atlantis!" She squealed as she ran towards the couple. Annailesa squirmed out of her mother's arms, jumping into Eddy's. Immediately, she bit her but Eddy now realized over the months of being bitten that it was her way of saying hello and that she liked the person.
"This was not my idea." Layel grumbled as he eyed the Dragon King.
"Sorry to bother you. We hope you don't mind us coming unannounced." Delilah began when Grace and Darius came over. "She's been whining for weeks now. Every morning she says 'Eddy' and when she realizes that you aren't coming over, she gets depressed and irritable."
Layel rolled his eyes. His daughter had never grown attached to anyone before. As soon as found this woman, Jewel's youngest daughter, it was like she was bounded to her. She had come to their palace a few times and she played with her and Lily, the future Amazon queen. Since those visit, Annailesa grew more and more attached to her.
Unfortunaly for him, Eddy was not employed by him and his daughter had been calling for her for days. As a father, he did beyond his best to make his child happy. So here he was, damn near begging his rival for help. Though he no longer had a grudge to kill the Dragon King, that didn't mean he had to stay in his company and be friends.
Darius knew how hard it must have been for the Vampire King to come to his aide. He knew what it felt like to swallow his pride for the sake of his family. It was hard to do, but he'll live.
"As long as Edlynia doesn't mind, then it is alright with me." Darius commented.
"Why would I mind!?" Eddy threw Anna in the air, making her laugh. "I have the most cutest baby girl in all the world!" She hugged her and Anna hugged in return, nuzzling her face into the crock of her neck, she inhaled her scent. She sighed, patting her silver hair that curled and touched her shoulders.
"Come on, let's go play with D.J., yes?"
"Yes!" Anna clapped her hands. Jumping down she ran towards the little red head, Eddy was right behind her.
Darius didn't know how it happened, but he ended up hosting with his wife for the Vampire King and his family. Grace had suggested it and moments later, his maids were bringing out platters of food and wine. They sat and ate with eat other, their wives talking with they sat in silence. They had nothing to say to each other and they weren't going to force it either. Then another form came into view.
"Oh! Come on!" He exasperated, throwing his arms in the air in a Grace-like fashion.
"Before you start." Valerian held up his hands in defense. His wife and his first in command Broderick walked behind him. "This was not my idea."
"Yeah! That's what he said!" He jerked his thumb in Layel's direction. Again, Eddy squealed, getting up from her place on the ground. "Let me guess, they keep calling for Eddy." He shook his head when they both gave him an apologetic look.
"My heart is filled!" She rushed over to Shaye, taking the twins from her. "I have my men with me; my day is now complete!" She carried the now eleven month olds on each hip carting them back to the play area near the parents. Then she sighed.
"Oh! I forgot." Placing the twins down, she ran back. "Sorry!" She smacked Broderick on the lips with her own. "Hi!"
He gave her a deadpan stare. "Oh, so that's how it's going to be now? I'm just forgotten?"
"When it comes to those handsome boys, yup!" She giggled when he grunted. "Don't be jealous." She kissed him again, more lovingly this time. "I only have eyes for you."
"I can't tell." He grumbled when she ran back to the kids.
Hedrick and Detrick sat on the side, playing the round colorful balls that rattled with every movement while Anna struggled with a more complicated puzzle with D.J. Holding the pink octagon in her hand, she tried to shove it in the wrong slot. After a few more attempts she failed. Eddy could tell that she was giving up, her face was turning red; her icy blue eyes were tearing up. Anna looked up, seeing her teacher standing over in the distance. She looked at her for help but realized quickly that she wasn't going to get it. In frustration she threw the block and cried.
"Are you done? Do we need to put the game away?" Eddy asked calmly after the Anna's cries didn't cease.
"No!" She coughed, sniffling back her tears. She sucked in air a few times, coughing out more. She walked to where the puzzled piece had landed and picked it up. Using her cubby arm, she wiped her face for tears and snot. She looked at her puzzle piece again but with all the holes and colors she didn't know where it went.
"That one pink." She looked over at D.J. He stood next to her and tapped the block in her hand. "That one pink." He said to her again. He looked around the four boards that were nowhere finish. Finally he pointed at the one closes to them. "Here!" he grabbed Anna's hand and guided her. "Here!" Anna frowned as if she were leery of his option. But she worked the block into the slot.
"Yay!" D.J clapped for her when it fit. Anna's eyes lit up. She did it!
"Did it!" She jumped clapping her hands. She looked over at her parents who were watching. "Did it?!"
"You did it, baby!" Her mother praised her. She ran towards them, falling into her father's lap.
"Good job, Annailesa!" Her smile grew bigger at her father's praise.
"Five points for Anna." Her eyes widen when she saw Eddy write in the book that she always kept with here. "And five points for D.J for helping." D.J smiled and went back to work while Anna stayed with her parents. She was done for today. That puzzle was too much for her and she rather eat fruit instead.
"You were born for this." Shaye commented once Eddy sat down between her and Broderick.
"Yeah, I know." She smiled watching the children play. "I knew very young that I loved teaching and children. That's why I went to school and studied hard for the right certifications. I love giving what I knew to others and seeing them comprehend and develop that knowledge into something more and intergarte that into their lives. That's why I chose primary education because that's their foundation for their future. If they don't have a firm and solid foundation, then the rest will crumble and fall over time. I kind of put pressure on myself, telling myself that if I don't do a good job, they're going to struggle throughout the rest of their lives. When I see them learning and understanding it makes me happy. It gives me affirmation that I'm doing a good job, the right way."
Broderick saw the love and passion in her eyes as she spoke. She loved what she did.
"I can't believe that you took the time out to cut out these pieces."
"I didn't." She said, eating a handful of blueberries. "Brand did."
Her mate frowned. "Why is he doing that?"
"Who else is going to do it. Me?! I'd sooner cut off my fingers. At least if he cuts himself, he'll heal in a matter of second." She flexed them in his face. "I just draw the pieces that I want on the board and he cuts them out."
"Next time you need something, ask me." Though Eddy thought of Brand as a brother, he still didn't like another man doing something that he was more than capable of doing himself.
"I'm just more surprised that you have so many colors." Grace looked at the blocks that were littered at the foot of the large cloth they were currently sitting on. D.J had given up on the puzzles, dumping them all out of their homes and began to play with the pieces with the twins.
"It's not that hard. Once you have your primary colors the rest is easy. You just have to mix them to get the color you want.
"Red…. Yellow … Blue." D.J suddenly said to no one in particular.
"What did he say?" Shaye asked. Watch as the young dragon move the blocks around.
"Red!" He placed the triangle at their feet. "Yellow!" Now the circle. "Blue!" Finally the square.
"That's right!" Eddy smacked her thighs with joy.
"Those are your primary colors. Now what happens when you mix blue with yellow?"
DJ looked back at the twenty-two puzzle pieces still on the cloth. He ran over coming back with a diamond shaped one.
"Green!" He put it down.
"Excellent!" Eddy praised. "Now, what color do you get when you mix blue and red?" Again he ran back.
"Urple!"
"Purple! Yes!" She laughed at his broke language. "And what's your last color?" She made it harder this time, not giving him the two primary colors to make the secondary he would have to figure it out on his own. It took him a little longer that time but when he came back with the orange heart, he pushed the red and yellow shapes together and stacked the heart on top.
"Orange!" He clapped his hands, knowing that he was right.
"Five points for D.J!" Eddy held out her arms for a hug. She was so proud him. D.J smile was big when the other adults praised him, patting him on the head, kissing him on the cheek, giving him a job well done. He liked it and wanted more. He wanted his toy!
The adults weren't looking, going back to their own conversations as he moved the colored shapes and lining them up in a row.
"Done!" He exclaimed, throwing his arms over his head. "Done!" Finally they looked to see what he was talking about, but only Eddy was the one who understood.
"Rock out, D.J!" She held out her hands; he gave her two high fives. "Ten points! You get your toy!"
"Yay!" He squealed running around as if he had won the best game ever.
"What did he do?" Darius was lost and then Grace noticed.
"He put the colors of the rainbow, in order!" Grace clapped in applause. "I didn't learn how to do that until I was almost ten years old." She got up, scooping up her child. She gave him a rain of kisses on his face.
Eddy couldn't be more proud. Without coaching, without any assistance, the young child was able to accomplish the task on his own. She had taught him the colors and the combination only a week ago and he had mastered it. To most, the task would be deem as something that held little value, but to her, it was more valuable than any gold, diamonds, or pearls. It meant the world to her.
Now that the day was starting to quiet, the children were finally put down for their naps, the parents finally had some time to their selves. Eddy was starting to pack away her toys when Broderick came behind her.
"Let's go for a walk." He whispered in her ear. She leaned back, molding into her body.
"The last time you said that, I came back with just your shirt on."
"Well, I can't say that it won't come down to that. But that's not what I intend to do." He pulled her away. Walking away from the others, he took her into the forest. They walked in silence, enjoying each other's company. Eddy was in awe by the beautiful multi-colored flowers as they bloomed on either side creating a pathway. She had never seen them before as many times she had traveled through the same forest to get to the palaces from day to day.
"Are you happy?" She heard Broderick ask.
"There isn't a word to describe how I feel and happy doesn't cover it." She wrapped her arm around his.
"Do you miss your family?"
"Yes. But I made my peace with it before I came here. I will always miss my parents and my siblings, but their memory of them will stay with me for a lifetime." She looked up at her man, her dangerously sexy hunk of a man. "And, I'm making new memories with my new family." She kissed his forearm. "Why do you ask?"
"Because I love you and I wanted to make sure that you were as happy as you could be." Eddy's heart was beating faster.
"I am as happy as I could be." How'd she get so lucky?
"But you could be happier."
She let out a laugh. "I don't see how. I have everything I could ever want."
"Except a place you can call your own, a daycare where you can teach young children."
"Yeah, but that can come later. I mean I'm happy living with Darius and Grace at the moment and I can't leave D.J; that wouldn't be right. Traveling to Layel's palace isn't too far nor is Valerian so I don't mind. It's a little inconvenient at times, but I don't really mind." She was lost, why was he asking her these questions?
They ended in an open pasture free of trees and foliage. The colorful flowers were found in different sections of the forest, trailing of in different pathways. In the middle stood a two story house; well, Eddy couldn't really classify it as a house, more like a dual mansion. Made of white stone, there was a smaller house place in front of the bigger one. It was a unusual design but more importantly….
"Who's house is that?" she asked as they continued to walk towards it. His hand touched the brass handle, pushing the door open.
"It's yours."
Eddy looked at him with suspicion. "Mine?" she said as she walked in. The colors were the first to hit her. There were colors everywhere in every corner of the room. The walls were filled with different piturces and paintings that the children drew for her. There were cabinets and cubbie holes filled with bloacks and puzzles, parament papers and paint. There were little chairs and small tables; along one wall there were nothing but books on the other different materials hung on hooks. An added bonus was there was more than enough room to run and play on the inside as well as the outside.
She couldn't breathe, she was overwhelmed. She placed a hand over her chest as she breathed deeply to calm herself down.
"How?" she knew what this was. This was her daycare, the one that she had dreamt of and that she invisioned a long time ago. She just never imagined that her vision was actually her in Atlantis.
"I sort of mentioned to Valerian of the idea seeing as how the Shaye and the twins love you, not to mention when Alyssa and Brenna have their children. Though Grace was reluctant damn near shouting that she wasn't going to share you, she gave in." Eddy let out a watery laugh. He continued. "Darius, Valerian, and Layel pooled in some of their money, me and some of the other men built it. The women furnished and decorated it to suit all of your needs."
Her voice got caught In her throat so all that came out was sobs. She couldn't believe her eyes. This was hers?! This was hers!
"I used everything that you told me, from the library for the children to read to the paints for them to color and draw from their imagination to the fabrics for them to build make believe fortresses and play dress up." Brokderick came behind her, wrapping his large arms around her and pulling her close. He kissed the back of her neck to soothe her. He rocked her slightly as she continued to cry.
"And don't worry about running out of supplies. Whenever you need something just ask."
"But…but it's out in the open." She said between her sobbing. "It's unsafe."
"Ah, very persecetive of you. But if you notices the field of flowers that we walked through. They hold a protection spell that no one will be able to enter if they mean to cause harm. And they spread out from Darius palace, to Valerian's, and Layel's so Kings' minds can be put at ease when their mates come with their children. Being directly in the middle of each palace, it will only take a matter of ten minutes for anyone to walk to you."
Taking her arm gently, he led her further into the daycare showing off every room there was; finally he came to the door that was across the room parallel to the front door. He opened it reveiling the entrance to the house behind it.
Eddy cried harder.
The living room was completely furnished and filled with her own painting and portaits of her family as well as the photos she had taken from home. Across the way was the dining room. No kitchen of cours ,she would probably burn the house down but somehow she would manage. There was a grand staircase that led upstairs to the which was her master bedroom suite. More pictures of home were scattered on the nightstands and dressers. The large double king size bed was frames by the large oval window, giving her a view of the ocean and mountains.
"This can be your getaway space because even though you love children every now and again, you'll need time to yourself to regroup."
"This…" she shook her head, batting away the last of her tears. "…this is too much." She couldn't believe the people that she had grown fond of had done this for her. She turned to see her mate smiling lovingly at her.
"Now you can't be any more happier." She laughed, falling into his arms. He kissed the crown of her head, rubbing her back.
"But what about you?" they had talked, well more like argued, about her moving into the Nymph palace so she would be closer to him. She was still debating whether she should leave but couldn't bear to leave D.J for more than a few days. She knew that he was more than a little irritated that she was choosing a child that wasn't here's over her mate. But he didn't say it out loud.
"Like I said, you're only ten minutes away. I can come see you when I wish and I can stay over from time to time." Once he warmed up to the idea, he would live her with her. For now, he would make the short trip to see her.
She stood on her toes, their lips locked as the two shared another kiss, this time with more heat behind it. "How'd did I manage to find a guy like you?"
"It was fate." He backed her into the wall. "We were destined for each other until the end of our days in the world."
"I love you." He kissed her soundly, pushing her into him, Eddy could feel her arousal between her legs. "And I can't wait to give you your own children."
"Mmmm. Well maybe we can start on that now." He went down to her neck, kissing his favorite spot. He left his mark.
"No. not now." She waited until their gaze met. "I have enough children to take care of now. " She slipped his shirt over his head. Her hands were heated by his flesh. "Now…right now. I just want to enjoy you. I want to enjoy our time together." Her heart was pounding in her chest she was so full of love. He was right, she couldn't be more happier than what she was at that moment.
The end. SMOOCHES xoxo
