Sakura groggily woke up from her slumber. She stared at the metal bars in front of her and raised her head. She looked at her surroundings and confusion filled her mind. [W-what happened? Where am I?] Sakura moved and realized her movement was a little sluggish. She inwardly winced as a headache was coming on.

[Wait, I'm a rank 4 monster now?!] Sakura looked down at her body and realized she was much bigger and her scales were a pastel pink. Not wanting to look anymore, Sakura resumed talking to the System. [What am I now, what are my stats or better yet just tell me everything I need to know.?] Sakura asked the System calmly.

Sakura went over the choices made by the System and felt satisfied but how could the System do all of that? [System, were you always capable of making choices like this?]

Sakura studied the response for a while before looking at her skills. She knew that the System wouldn't give her a proper answer so she gave up. The first ability she got was Charming Aura. She liked that she got the ability to calm opponents or anyone at first glance but the thought of not being able to use it on opponents multiple times was disconcerting.
Then she got five sense enhancement which basically enhanced all five senses including taste. Sakura cheered inwardly at the thought of tasting really good meals.
Secondly, was her new title Ruler of Perseverance and Heresy Nullification. The new title gave her a nice boost in her defenses but the best part was Heresy Nullification that allowed her to use certain skills without damage to her soul. Now she can enjoy the benefits Wrath gives her like the slight boost in physical strength without the worry of going insane.
What she was most surprised about was that her type changed. She was now a water/dark type and she was now going to be able to use some of the dark skills she gained.
And lastly, her Taboo skill leveled up by one. [System can you tell me what levels up Taboo?! Am I at the level to learn?]
[Taboo is a skill that is increased usually though committing atrocious acts or something that shouldn't be considered natural. Some known ways to raise Taboo: acquiring a certain title that requires doing atrocious things, such as Ally Eater, certain evolutions, maxing out Heresy Control or acquiring a ruler skill.]
[Thank you, now I know what to watch out for.] She was more worried about her Satiation and Wrath skills that when completely leveled up will give take her Taboo to level 7. The more she thought about it seems her Taboo will level up no matter what.
Sakura pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind and looked around the large cage that she was trapped in. It was covered in a thick cloth with a mirror by the entrance of the cage. She gasped inwardly as she looked at her own appearance. Her body getting bigger was an understatement. She was sure if she raised her head she would be as tall as a grown man.
Her body was much thicker than before and her scales were a glossy pastel pink with pure white scales on her belly. Her head was much bigger with two pink and white fins for ears on each side of her head. Her tail and front fins were nowhere to be found replaced by smooth scales. In conclusion, she could say that she looked mythical and majestic.
[Now time to escape this cage. Sakura moved around, getting used to her heavier body before coiling up neatly. She glared at the gate and opened her mouth, ready to shoot a ball of the dark bullet at it. However, nothing formed and she tried again but still no luck. She could feel the chakra inside her but couldn't summon it.
[System, what is this cage?]

Sakura rested her head on her body, staring at the door. She would rest for now and the moment someone opened that cage she was going to crush them. She waited, her tongue tasting the salty sea air which indicated she was near the ocean.
She was waiting for the moment someone would come to the cage but she couldn't feel any vibrations coming from the ground. She could clearly hear crickets and cheers in the distance. The System did say she was in a pirate town called Morgana Bay. There was so much blank spaces in her memory. She had no clue how she got here and the System wasn't telling her anything.
Hours passed and there was not a ray of sunshine or speck of light. She wagged her tail to left and right, silently watching the door. She felt the vibrations of multiple steps coming towards her with their voices were loud and boisterous. She tensed, taking a striking position before she relaxed after much thought.
[Originally, I was going to attack the first person that came by the door but I should observe them first before attacking.] She thought.
Sakura watched as the cloth was pulled off the cage. Her eyes adjusted to the sudden change of light from the torches people held in their hands before her eyes settled on the first set of humans she had seen since she came into this world.
"Ain't she a beauty?" a man with a long grey beard and pirate hat said before the crowd burst into applause and drunken cheers. His skin was rough looking with dark spots on his pale face. Some of his teeth were missing with the remainder broken. Her cage was surrounded by men and women cheering at simple words from an old man. She could tell some of them were drunk, judging from their scent and the bottle in their hands.
"Whar did ye find that scaly creature, Jarold?" a thinly dressed woman asked, pushing her breasts up on him.
"be tellin' us Jarold!" the crowd asked.
[Yes, tell us Jarold] Sakura thought as she stared at the man who was watching her as if he hit jackpot.
"Me find that beauty washed up near Sandy Barrow. The winsome lass's one o' those rare snakes that th' legends speak about, the Charmer Serpent." Jarold replied with a grin as he stared at her.
The crowd gasped.
[Am I really that rare?] Sakura asked herself, keeping her eyes on Jarold. Sakura looked around at the people watching her with amazement and slight fear. Sakura turned back to Jarold. [Appraise!]

[So he's this strong] Sakura thought before appraising every human that surrounded her and only Jarold was the strongest one from the crowd.
"ye're lyin!" a man shouted from the crown.
"be ye sayin' th' Cap'n be lyin'?" another man replied from next to Jarold. "My Cap'n ain't a liar, we found that serpent just off th' coast o' Sandy Baarrow. th' Cap'n made sure t' check it with a monster expert."
"Nay need t' answer them Mar," Jarold replied, grinning at Sakura,"Tonight we'll be enterin' this beauty in the monster rin'."
The moment the crowd heard that they cheered, started throwing bottles and fighting. However, Jarold just stood there as if in a daze. Sakura studied him before she thought back about his stats where his status condition said: "Charmed".
[So my Charming Aura has its first victim] Sakura thought before slithering towards him. All sound ceased around her as she stopped in front of him. She raised her head so she could see eye to eye with the man that found her. His grin broadened and he pushed his hand in the cage, tempted to touch her. Sakura looked down at his hand before looking back at the man.
[You're really brave… but next time you won't be so lucky.] Sakura thought before she lowered her head so he could touch her. Sakura inwardly rolled her eyes as he gently patted her head and the moment he did the crowd broke out in murmurs which soon turned to louder cheers and more celebrating.
"Good lass, ye beauty. I have a lot o' doubloons ridin' on ye so tonight ye better win." Jarold told her quietly and Sakura was tempted to sink her fangs into his arm.
"Cap'n whar should we take that monster?" Mar, Jarold's right hand man, asked. Sakura looked at the brown-haired, brown-eyed man who was covered in hair. He wasn't as ugly as Jarold but he wasn't far off judging by his extremely dirty and baggy clothes.
"Take me beauty down back on th' Jolly Roger fer transport t' Morgana's Cove," Jarold said, "Put her with th' rare monsters," Jarold said before walking away with the crowd behind him, leaving Mar and five other men to transport her cage. Sakura watched as Mar order the men to lift her cage back on to the ship.
She then turned to observe one of the crewmen she hadn't seen before and concluded that he was way too handsome to be a pirate. His long slightly curled hair dropped down in his face and his well toned, tanned body was on display with his tight pants and shirt enhancing his body. His mouth, nose and blue eyes were small and perfectly symmetrical making him look almost doll-like but still masculine. Sakura appraised him, wanting to know his name.

Sakura gasped at the man's rank and stats. She didn't know how she missed him but she was glad she didn't. [How did such a man get working for these losers?] Sakura thought as they placed her down on the ship's deck. Sakura slithered towards Draygon who jumped back and watched her with cautious eyes. Her forked tongue tasted the scent in the air. Green clashed with blue, both staring each other down for a minute. Sakura was the first to break away, losing interest and going back to the center of the cage before coiling herself up.
The ship started to move and they were well on their way towards Morgana's Cove. Sakura made sure to remember the way to get there and fortunately, the cove was near Morgana Bay. The ship entered a hidden cave that was filled with torches on each wall to illuminate the cave.
They docked and the crew started pulling her off of the smirked inwardly at the men pulling her off the ship and started tapping the bottom of the cage with her tail. The more she tapped, the more effort it took the men to pull the cage.
"Stop that ye scaly beast!" Mar shouted at her, out of breath from pulling the cage. He turned to Draygon. "ye be puttin' more effort into it pretty boi!"
"Aye Mar!" Draygon shouted, saluting the man.
Sakura watched as the man put more effort into pulling the cage along with the other crew members. Thanks to her Merciless title she felt not an ounce of guilt and kept on hitting the cage with her tail while watching Draygon. Sakura grew even more elated as the man shot her looks of frustration.
[Maybe staying here wouldn't be so bad.] Sakura thought as she stared at the man with her unblinking green eyes. She may be a monster now but she was once a human girl and she hadn't seen a man since she reincarnated so a little eye candy wasn't so bad.
Later, she was thrown into a room with two other large cages like hers. She perked up, her senses picking up on an earthy scent from one cage and a putrid almost dead scent from the other. The cage jerked as it came to a stop in a corner far away from the two other cages. The cages were covered in a thick black cloth so she couldn't see what kind of monsters were inside.
[Hmm, they put me with rare monsters so I guess these two are just as rare.] She thought as she stared at the cages.
"We're goin' back t' th' Jolly Roger. Pretty boi, feed th' beast and then cover th' cage o'er, black cloth. Nay mishaps now!" Mar told Draygon loudly, snapping Sakura from her thoughts. He quickly left with the other crew members leavng her along with Dragyon.
"Aye sir..." Draygon lazily saluted before turning to her. "You must be hungry huh?"
[Of course, I'm hungry. Evolution takes a lot of energy ya know.] Sakura thought as she slithered towards the handsome man. She raised her head higher so she was looking down at him.
"I really shouldn't give you food since you were obviously making things hard for me." He added, chuckling.
[Don't you dare! If you dare leave me to starve you're going to be one of the first people I eat!] Sakura thought, hissing angrily at the man.
Draygon laughed. "So you CAN understand me. Don't worry though, I'll feed you. I'm not cruel like Jarold and Mar, damned bastards." Draygon said.
[Good, I wouldn't want to eat someone as handsome as you. Just stay on my good side and you'll be fine.] Sakura slithered back to the center of the cage and coiled herself up neatly before resting her head on her mid-section. [I'm waiting.]
"I'll be right back." Draygon said before walking out of the room.
His departure gave her the chance to observe the room she was in. Apart from the exit where Draygon walked through, there was another door on the other side of the room. The metal door was large, reaching up to the ceiling and she wondered what was behind it. Other than that, the room was empty except for the cages.
When Draygon came back he was dragging a multi-colored frog-like creature behind him. The creature seemed to be drugged and she quickly appraised it.

[What?! This puny monster is my meal?!] Sakura hissed angrily.
"Sorry, I can't give you more." Draygon apologized, "You're going to have to fight tonight and that's the only way you'll get more food so you have to win."
[Wow, you're really too trusting towards monsters. However, I already said I won't eat you so this monster would do for now.] Sakura thought as she watched Draygon opened her cage door quickly and throw the monster inside her cage. In that moment, the monster awoke from it's drugged state and the moment it saw her it started scratching at the cage doors, fighting to escape.
[I love it when they struggle.] Sakura hissed before lunging at the frog. Her fangs sank into the frog, killing it instantly. Her body wrapped around the frog and within minutes it was in her stomach. [Thanks for the appetizer]
"That was weird to watch.." Draygon replied, scratching his head.
[Nobody told you to watch] Sakura hissed before returning to the center of the cage and coiling herself up.
"I have to get going now." Draygon told her before leaving through the exit.
[Goodbye handsome.] Sakura thought, watching the fit man leave the room.
As soon as she couldn't hear his footsteps any more she thought back to what he said. She'll have to fight other monsters in a ring as a sport for these other humans. Just the thought of being used as a sport for the humans made her incredibly angry. If she wanted to escape she couldn't use the ring either because they most likely had some way of preventing their escape.
Time passed quickly and she could hear loud cheering from behind the large metal door that was closed.[So the ring is just through there.] Sakura thought, before turning to the exit. Jarold walked in with Mar and Draygon behind him. He was smiling at her.
"It's time fer ye debut and time fer ye t' win me some gold tonight and if ye win I'll give ye a big dinner," Jarold said, grinning at her.
"th' Cap'n placed loads o' bets on ye so ye better win or else!" Mar shouted, slamming his hand on the cage.
SMACK!
"Who told ye that ye can shout at that beauty. Have ye gone mad lad?!" Jarold snapped, slapping Mar across the head.
"Sorry Cap'n!" Mar cried out, holding his head.
Jarold turned to Draygon and then looked back at Mar. "Gather th' crew and make sure this cage be by th' door. Everythin' must be perfect and I won't tolerate any mishaps. If me lass e'er escapes I'm goin' t' skin th' entire crew alive!"
"Aye Sir!"
"Aye Cap'n!"
Both Mar and Draygon shouted before running out to gather the crew. Jarold waited until they were gone before turning back to her and smiling. "Even if ye lose I won't let anythin' happen t' ye. Just havin' ye be enough!"
[Wow, my Charming Aura really packs a punch. He's practically worshipping the ground I walk slither on and yet he's placing me to fight a ring. You should just set me free you know.] Sakura thought while Jarold smiled at her for the next few minutes.
[This is getting way too creepy now.] Sakura thought before coiling up so her head rested in the middle of her coil. [Now, I don't have to see him.]
She didn't know how much time had passed but she soon found her cage by the large metal door with three crew members on the top of her cage. She watched as the men expertly open her cage door and the metal door at the same. Sakura looked at Draygon and nodded before she slithered out of the cage. The moment she entered the empty ring, the sound of the people assaulted her. She tried to see if she could summon any chakra and felt relieved that she could summon it safely.
Sakura looked up at the heavy duty cage that keeps them from escaping. On the other side of that cage were pirates of all shapes and sizes, looking down at her with excitement. There was a woman standing above her on the cage and Sakura took note of her dirty appearance. From her unwashed hair to her yellow teeth the woman looked like a nightmare. Sakura inwardly scoffed before resting her unblinking eyes on the door in front of her.
"My name be Hespith but I'm sure ye all be knowin' who I be already but fer those who dern't, I'm th' rin' master and what I say goes!" Hespith shouted into her mic. The crowd screamed and cheered. "First monster up be Cap'n Jarold's Charmer Sperent. One o' th' rare monsters in Atera. Give it up fer this beauty" The crowd's cheers were deafening as the door across from her flew open.
"th' next monster be one that dwells in th' deep darkness o' Silent Mountain," Hespith yelled, "Welcome t' th' rin', Barman Ferrod's very own Giant Centipede; Ferect!"
Sakura glared as she spots red eyes glowing from the darkness and the monster crawled out. The jet black centipede squealed at her, raising its body and showing off its impressive amount of legs and strong pincers.
"Let th' games begin!" Hespith screamed before he crowd joined her in a screaming match.
Sakura smirked inwardly as she watched the Centipede do nothing but stay in its spot. She quickly appraised the monster.

Her Charming Aura had claimed its second victim and the monster was very weak. [This monster won't give me much exp points. Oh well, I should make it quick.] Sakura hissed angrily before she was upon the Ferect in seconds and even with her heavy body she moved quickly enough.
"And there she goes, movin' as fast as lightin'!" Hespith bellowed making the crowd go wild.
Sakura wrapped her tail around the centipede and threw it towards the metal bars, where Hespith was standing. Sakura opened her mouth and fired off a Frost Pulse at the centipede when it was beginning to fall. The large circular pulse connected and slammed the centipede onto the metal bars in a large frosty blast. Sakura watched with rapt attention as a blue light flickered the moment the centipede touched the bars and sent a shock wave right down into the ring.
[So there's some sort of shield separating us and the humans. Explains why my Charming Aura isn't working on the audience.]
"th' power o' this serpent be unbelievable!" Hespith screamed into the mic.
Sakura hissed, pushing her initial thoughts to the back of her mind to focus on the falling frozen centipede. She really wanted to try her darker skills but it wouldn't be too good to expose so many of her abilities. Sakura charged a dark ball of energy in her mouth before launching it at the falling dark bullet hit it's the target, blowing it to pieces.
"There ye have it folks, th' end o' th' third battle fer th' day. ye'll be seein' this beauty again tonight!" Hespith announced as the crowd wildly cheered.
Sakura looked up at the woman and the crowd. She was going to do something very risky and painful but she needed to do it before she goes back into her cage. [Detection!] The moment she activated the skill a migraine much more powerful than ever attacked her mind. She fell to the ground in pain but held on. She honed in on the barrier that seemed to block all forms of skills from reaching the other, looking for a weak spot.
"There's somethin' wrong with th' serpent. Get someone in there!" Hespith yelled in an alarmed voice.
Sakura desperately looked at the barrier and spotted a trail of energy almost invisible to the eye. She followed it until it reached Hespith standing above the metal bars. Sakura deactivated Detection as she suffered from the migraine it gave her.

Sakura shuddered. [She's not even human!] Sakura thought angrily before wincing as her head pounded from the headache. She hated using that skill but it really came in handy this time and it did go up two levels from her using it with so many people around. Sakura could feel her body being dragged away but she was in too much pain to care at the moment.
[Why do I have pain resistance if it doesn't help with this skill?!] Sakura soon found herself back inside her cage, coiled up in the middle with her headache slowly becoming less painful with each passing second. Jarold, Mar and Draygon came back into the room carrying a large pig-like monster that was roasted. Sakura perked up at the delicious scent she picked up from the monster.
"ye won me a lot o' gold today beauty! As a reward, we brought ye a nice roasted War Pig! ye have five more battles t' go." Jarold told her before ordering men to drop the pig into the room.
[Oh wow, if you keep feeding me like this Jarold you might eventually change my mind on eating you when I escape.] The moment the roasted War Pig was thrown into her cage Sakura wasted not a second before she had her fangs buried in the delicious pig.
[Oh kami, I could almost cry. This tastes so good...it's been so long!] Sakura cried out in her mind as she swallowed the pig. The taste was assaulting her taste buds as she swallowed it whole. [I only wish I could chew and make it last!]
"Look at that beauty eatin' that...," Jarold turned to Draygon and Mar, "ye must feed me beauty well even if she doesn't win. The winsome lass's even better than gold at this point! If anythin' happens t' me beauty... I dern't have t' be tellin' ye, right?"
"Aye!" both Draygon and Mar saluted before Jarold left the room with Mar close behind him. Draygon walked up to her cage, tapping it with his hand.
Sakura, now finished with her meal, looked up at the handsome man who was watching her with a smile. [What?!]
"You did really good today and I think I underestimated you." Draygon told her but it sounded like he was telling himself that, "I can tell you're really intelligent, more than I thought before."
[Well, I was once human but I'm losing my humanity and memories at the moment because I have no clue how to become a human! So I doubt my intelligence will last but thank you!] Sakura thought with mixed emotions.
"I've decided that I'll get you out of here," Draygon whispered only for her to hear. "I'm actually from the Kingdom of Astralis and I'm working for the Prince. I'm supposed to find an ancient sword that possesses certain qualities belonging to the Kingdom. It was stolen from the castle months ago and I tracked it here but I have no idea where it's located."
[You really want to help me? Then I have no choice but to help you.]
"I've already searched Jarold's and Mar's rooms but they came up empty," Draygon said, turning away from her with an exasperated sigh.
[Who would want to steal a powerful sword?] Sakura thought about before her mind kept going back to the ringmaster. Sakura raised her tail and tapped the cage making Draygon turn back to her.
"What? Do you know who it is?" Draygon asked her. Sakura raised her tail and started to write the name in the air.
"Hespith? Isn't she just a normal ringmaster?"
Sakura shook her head before she looked beneath his feet at the dirt. Sakura poked her tail through the cage hole and started to write in the dirt, though it was terrible writing, Draygon understood it.
"Not HUMAN. She is a HAG!"
Draygon read the words with wide eyes before quickly rubbing it away with his feet. He sighed, rubbing his forehead with the back of his hand. "If you're right then this got much more difficult and I'm forced to speed up things."
Sakura wrote in the dirt once more. "WHY?"
Dragyon sighed. "Hags are very dangerous creatures with high intellect and abilities. I'm sure she'll be even more alert than ever now that she has it. However, Hags are known for experimenting on powerful objects, people and monsters."
Sakura replied, her tail digging into the dirt and writing her response. "I will be the Distraction."
Draygon pondered her words before smiling. "From my observations, Hespith is the one that keeps the barrier of the ring in place. If I could get that barrier down you could probably escape."
"How?" Sakura wrote in the dirt.
"Tomorrow is when you're going to be fighting one of the stronger monsters. After your display today, Jarold ordered that you fight one of the rarer monsters so he could make more gold. So you have to make the battle as destructive as possible or try too. Despite being a dark creature the barrier she cast on the metal cage is a light skill and only dark skills that is strong enough can destroy the barrier with enough force," Draygon told her, "If I had enough time I would dismantle the barrier manually but I definitely have to get that sword from her hands."
Sakura nodded.
"Before your battle starts tomorrow I'll come back. I'm going to spend the rest of the day looking for the sword so don't lose your battles!"
[I'll be sure to win for you Draygon!] Sakura shamelessly said in her mind as the man left the room.
For Sakura, the next few hours, were rinse and repeat. Her first battle was against a bull-like creature that she defeated easily. Her next battle was the same result and after each battle, Jarold would bring bigger meals for her to gorge herself on. After eating those meals she would rest and let her digestive system do the work. The end result of this sequence was her gaining a level and leveling up a few skills especially Appraisal.

[Abyss and Heresy attacks are really scary. From opening hell gates to destroying someone's soul completely is something horrible. Shadow Control is pretty much useless until level 5 and Poison Control is my only skill that has practical use right now.]
Sakura sighed as she rested in her cage. She had planned to use a flashy dark attack to destroy the barrier tomorrow but her only dark attack was Dark Bullet. With the restrictions on her other dark attacks, she had no choice but to make her current and only useable dark attack stronger.
The next day came faster than she would like and she was minutes away from having her first battle of the night. She kept staring at the exit, waiting for Draygon to arrive. She had all night to come up with a plan to break down the barrier. She didn't know what monster they had for her to fight but if what Draygon said was true then she would be battling one of the monsters in this very room.
She looked at the two cages and had yet to hear anything from the monsters beneath the black thick cloth. She couldn't even smell them anymore. There should at least been a sound from any of them but she heard nothing at all from them.
Sakura perked, hearing hurried footsteps making their way towards her. Draygon burst into the room, out of breath. She slithered towards him as he tried to catch his breath.
"Listen, I don't have much time but I've found the sword. She's wearing it tonight for some reason but tonight but you definitely have to destroy that barrier with everything you have and destroy the metal cage at the same time. We need her to drop into the ring. That's when I show up." Draygon told her, panting slightly, "As for the monster you're battling, it's unlike anything I've seen."
[What kind of monster is it?] Sakura thought nervously.
"I'll be honest with you. Humans and Monsters do NOT get along well. However, you're different than any other monster's I have encountered. This battle you're about to fight will determine your life and death. This thing is a creation, an experiment that Hespith conducted. It's nothing natural so be careful and good luck!" Draygon finished just as Jarold and Mar walked into the room with other crew members.
Jarold walked up to the cage and grinned. "be ye ready t' battle me beauty? Today's th' day we're finally goin' t' teach that bitch Hespith a lesson, we'll keel-haul ye! ye definitely have t' win this fight fer me and I promise I'll definitely reward ye fer th' rest o' yer life."
[Aren't you supposed to be worshipping me? Why the hell am I fighting monsters?! I'm tempted to eat your ass when I escape!] Sakura thought, glaring at her captor.
Jarold turned to Draygon and his crew. "Get everythin' ready men. th' battle be about t' start!"
"Aye!"
Minutes later, Sakura would soon find herself waiting for the ring door to open. She felt many things at that moment but fear wasn't one of them. She thought back to her battle with Gamakichi, Percy, the Stripped Black Demon, the Earth Isopods and finally the King Storm Dragon. Each time she was close to death's door and she survived. She couldn't lose today because she still had things to do like kill Gamakichi and Percy.
The door opened and Sakura slithered out of her cage and into the ring. She ignored the crowd's cheers and looked at Hespith who had a grin on her ugly face. She could see the sword hanging at her waist. If Draygon didn't warn her, she wouldn't have known what to expect but now that she knew she was going to kill her. Hespith was going to die tonight. With her mind made up, she looked on ahead of her, her body tensed.
"Now we already be knowin' about th' scaly serpent that won all five battles yesterday. However, today we have a newcomer and me personal favorites. Let's give a warm welcome t' Chimera!" Hespith announced, making the crowd of Pirates go wild in cheers.
Suddenly, the crowd went silent as a loud growl came from behind the metal door. The crowd gasps as blood-curdling screams emanated come from behind the door. Sakura entered battle mode as more screams came from behind the door then they suddenly stopped.
The door blasts open and the monster stepped into the ring. Sakura, feeling her natural instinct take over, hissed angrily at the newcomer. [T-this… this is a nightmare!] A scream came from the crowd that was soon followed by drunken cheers and once again the crowd was going wild at the prospect of two monsters fighting to the death.
The monster had the body of a lion with a goat arising from it's back and a black serpent as the tail. Never in her life had she seen anything like it. In terms of size, the monster was slightly bigger than her. What was the most frightening was that the three parts were moving individually so it was like she was going to fight three monsters at the same time.
[Appraise!]
[Unable to identify monster. Proceed with caution!]
[Shit!] Sakura cursed before she ran the numbers through her head and came up blank. She couldn't calculate the possibility of her own survival since the System couldn't identify the abomination. Her only saving grace was that the System didn't give her any warning.
"Let th' fight begin!"Hespith bellowed.
When the monster didn't make the first move Sakura realized her Charming Aura had taken effect. [I have the first hit so let's make it count!] Sakura quickly activated Camouflage, blending in with her surroundings. Sakura slithered to the edge of the ring, observing the monster before launching a surprise attack on the snake side of the monster hoping to get her attack damage bonus. She lunged at the monster's tail and sunk her fangs into the snake's neck. The moment her mouth clamped down on the neck of the snake she was being wildly thrown around. The monster roared, jumping up and down, shaking left and right until she was thrown off and sent careening to the side of the ring.
The Chimera was onto her with great speed, it's jaws ready to clamp down on her mid-section. Sakura reigned back and lobbed a ball of poison from her mouth at the Chimera's eye. Before she could follow up with another attack she was grabbed roughly by her neck and ruthlessly thrown across the ring again.

Sakura crashed into the wall, with her neck bleed profusely. Sakura raised her head, ready to move but the Chimera was over her body with great speed and with its front legs raised, ready to stomp on her. Predicting the attack, Sakura lashed out with her tail to catch the lion part in its blind spot and fired a Dark Bullet at snake end.
The dark bullet exploded upon impact against the Chimera's tail, making it hiss in pain. Sakura's tail launched the Chimera away from her, thanks to her Herculean Strength. Sakura hissed angrily as she righted herself. She let wrath take over her body giving her extra strength. Now that she had Heresy Nullification she wasn't afraid to get angry now.
Sakura took a deep breath before spitting a stream of venom at the Chimera and followed it up by slamming her tail into the ground. The ground cracked, sending a small fissure towards the Chimera. The moment the Chimera stumbled a stream of venom hit its eyes directly, temporarily blinding it and causing it to roar in pain.

The Chimera charged at her with swiftness, the horns of the goat ready to skewer her. Sakura hissed as she slithered out of the way, making the Chimera crash into the wall. Sakura opened her mouth, launching a Frost Pulse at the tail, freezing it completely.

With its eyes now cleared from the venom, he Chimera turned around and roared loudly in her direction before taking a deep breath.
[Shit!]
Sakura quickly activated her Flood Control ability and created a water sphere around herself as protection from the incoming attack. The Chimera let out a large stream of fire that crashed into Sakura's water sphere. The two attacks produced a large amount of steam that covered the entire ring, blocking the monsters from view.
"Chimera released a large scale attack! Yo-ho-ho! Will th' serpent survive th' firey inferno?!" Hespith yelled, with a large grin on her face. When the steam cleared, she gasped. "What be this?!"

Sakura panted, sporting burns all over her body as she glared at the Chimera she trapped in a sphere of water. She opened her mouth.

One after the other she sent the attacks at the sphere. The poison ball hit the sphere first, filling it with pink venom. The frost pulse froze the water sphere in place, trapping the Chimera. The Dark Bullet crashed in the frozen sphere and launching the Chimera against the wall of the ring. With most of its legs still frozen, the Chimera struggled to get up.
Leaving no space for error, Sakura slithered towards the tail of the Chimera and wrapped her own tail around the head. Using her Herculean Strength she ripped the tail off, blood splattering on her body and making the Chimera scream from the pain of having its tail brutally ripped off.

Before she could register what happened, two feet crashed into her body, sending her across the ring. She rolled for a few feet after hitting the ground but quickly moved out of the way as the Chimera sent another stream of fire at her. She slithered around the edge of the ring as the Chimera kept shooting streams of fire at her in rage.
Due to her new skill, Thought Acceleration, her thoughts were moving extremely fast as she ran through Arithmetic Calculations. She still needed to get the barrier broken down and get Hespith in the ring. Sakura dodged another fire stream from the Chimera making it even angrier.
"ROAAAAAAAR!
The Chimera let out an extra loud roar before the goat part of its body started charged a black ball of energy that crackled with electricity between its horns. The lion part was doing the same, charging another black ball of energy.
[This is it!]
Sakura slithered quickly towards the Chimera before slamming her tail in the ground. Due to the force of her hit, she propelled herself into the air. The Chimera fired the two balls of energy, both melding together and forming a larger attack.
Sakura smirked inwardly. She had calculated the force she needed to get just high enough and factoring in her 500lb weight she knew that she gravity would do its thing. Secondly, thanks to her Prediction skill she knew the trajectory of the energy attack.
She fell back down.
And the attack crashed into the barrier.
"NOO!" Hespith screamed, her voice drowned out by the explosion.
Sakura watched as the barrier shimmered slightly before disappearing. The metal cage Hespith stood on broke apart and she fell inside the ring. Sakura watched as Hespith got up and sent a glare in her direction. The crowd was screaming and running out of the ring now that their only means of safety was gone.
"I knew somethin' was bein' off about ye. I should have known ye were one o' them. One o' those reincarnators! I can see it in ye eyes!" Hespith hissed, "keel-haul it now Chimera!"
[How did she know?!] Sakura quickly thought as the Chimera jumped towards her. She charged a dark ball of energy in her mouth. [Poison Control!] Her venom fused with the Dark Bullet, turning it dark pink. Sakura fired off the dark bullet fused with venom at the Chimera. The attack connected, resulting in another explosion. The Chimera was thrown back by the attack, landing next to Hespith.
"Get up now ye good fer nothin' abomination." Hespith screamed at the Chimera that was struggling to stand up. Sakura hissed angrily, glaring at the Chimera. It took one step forward, then another and on the third the Chimera fell to the ground, lifeless.

"What th' hell be ye doin' attackin' me beauty Hespith?! And just what be ye?!" Jarold yelled, running into the ring with Mar behind him.
"Shut the hell up you good for nothing waste of space!" Hespith snapped, pointing at Sakura, "You don't know what that monster is. It's-"
Hespith's speech was cut off by a sword penetrating her chest. "W-what?!" She barely managed out, as she turned her head to look at her attacker with blood flowing from her mouth.
Draygon smirked. "I tracked that sword on your waist for months and I'm here to get it back!" Draygon whispered before he expertly pulled into the sword, and with a spin that took off her head in an instant. Blood sprayed everywhere, her head falling to the ground. Bending down, Draygon picked up the sword from her body and looked at her.
"Good work!" he said with a grin.
"What th' hell be goin' on?!" Jarold screamed, pointing at Sakura and Draygon.
"Cap'n, he wants t' take me beauty!" Mar hissed, glaring at Draygon.
Jarold turned to Mar. "What do ye mean yer beauty?!"
Draygon ignored the fighting duo and walked up to Sakura. "You ready to get out of here?"
Sakura nodded. [Lead the way, pretty boy!]
"Let's go!" Draygon said, before running out of the ring with Sakura right behind him.
Moments later, Sakura and Draygon reached the docks without incident. The moment she saw the water she dived right without a splash. [This feels so great!] Sakura cried inwardly as she felt the cool water across her scales. She came back up to the surface of the water, looking at a smiling Draygon.
"You've been a great asset in helping me get back this sword, I humbly salute you," Draygon said, saluting her. "May we meet again, someday."
[May we meet again, Draygon.]
Sakura watched as the man disappears from sight. She will definitely meet him again someday but for now, she needed to find out where the hell she was. She looked up at the sky that was filled with stars and two large bright moons in the sky.

Sakura dived down into the dark waters, swimming away from Morgana's Cove before someone could see her. She thought back to Hespith's words about her being a reincarnator and how she noticed it so quickly. That could only mean she met another reincarnator like her. Would it be someone from her world or someone from another world?

Sakura stopped mid-swim at the mention of the name. [Why does that name sound familiar? Like I've heard it before…] Flashes of a blond woman standing on the large slug filled her mind and she couldn't make sense of it. Shaking her head at the sudden memory, Sakura continued her swim.
