I'm back everyone! Heehee I got a really good idea for this so yeah! Let's get to it! DISCLAIMER! I do not own Uta no Prince- sama or any of its characters! Enjoy!
As Syo and Natsuki headed back into the group, everyone was busy talking and having fun.
"Now that everyone is back, I have an idea!" hollered Reiji. Everyone looked over at him in anticipation.
"What is it Kotobuki- senpai?" questioned Tokiya.
"Let's have… a competition!" proclaimed Reiji as he grinned goofily.
Everyone sighed in annoyance. This group really liked to have competitions. Mostly everyone was tired of it, but there is always the other.
"Cool Rei-chan!" cheered Otoya as he wagged his tail expectantly for the details.
"It's simple, all you have to do is find the golden music note!" instructed Reiji excitedly.
"EHHHH!?" screamed everyone.
"What's that kotobuki?" asked Ranmaru in annoyance.
"It is a long lost legend. They say that the golden music note was hidden somewhere on this very island. If you find it and make a wish, your wish will come true!" babbled Reiji.
"Sounds like a bunch of baloney to me," retorted Camus coldly.
Some people didn't believe this story at all. But of course, some did.
"Amazing!" exclaimed Natsuki
"I want to find it!" declared Otoya.
"Definitely!" agreed Cecil.
The rest of the group sweatdropped at the antics.
"Hmm this could be really fun!" beamed Haruka.
Everyone immediately looked over at her and then thought for a moment.
"Well I guess since Haruka is doing it, I'll do it too," calmly stated Ai.
Everyone, one by one, started to agree.
"Alright! Then let's split up into three teams!" directed Reiji with a lot of enthusiasm.
"Team number 1! Natsuki- kun, Toki, Cecil-kun, and Ran- ran!"
"We got this one in the bag!" declared Cecil as he and Natsuki high fived.
"Why do I even have to do this!?" barked Ranmaru as he reluctantly got together with his group.
"Oh brother," sighed Tokiya.
"Next team! Otoyan, Ren-kun, Myu-chan, and Syo-kun!"
"Let's do this!" hollered Otoya.
"I'm already blessed with talent, good looks, and amazing abilities. I don't know what I'd wish for," sighed Ren dramatically.
"Stop acting like a doofus Jinguji," demanded Camus.
"I'm not with Haruka," muttered Syo under his breath so no one could hear him.
"And the last group is: Ai-Ai, Masa-kun, Haru-chan, and I!"
"Why am I doing this again?" queried Masato to himself.
"I'm with Haruka so I guess this will be alright," noted Ai.
"Let's do our best together," encouraged Haruka as she smiled at everyone in her group.
"Damn! Why is Haruka with them!?" thought Syo as he seethed with anger silently.
"Now come and get your maps!" instructed Reiji as he held out three pieces of folded paper.
One member of each group quickly went up to Reiji and grabbed the pieces of paper. They went back to the groups and unfolded the papers hastily.
"Hey! Why is there a piece missing Rei-chan?" whined Otoya as he looked at the map.
"I made the shop owner cut a different piece out of everyone's map so the game can be a lot more interesting!" shrilled Reiji as the groups all stared at him dumbfounded.
"Ready, set, GO!" hollered Reiji as him and his group ran off.
"E-eh?!" stammered Syo.
The other groups quickly ran and assembled elsewhere to decide on what to do.
With Syo's group
"What the hell!" cursed Syo.
"Now, now chibi- kun. No need to get so worked up over this," stated Ren.
"But this map is so confusing and, wait! I'm NOT A CHIBI!"
"calm down you idiots. We won't get anywhere by arguing," retorted Camus.
"Camus- senpai is right, let's all work together to find the golden music note!" cheered Otoya enthusiastically.
With Reiji's group
Haruka and her fellow teammates were looking at the map and trying to figure out where to go. Haruka felt like the boys were a little too close to her, but being the nice girl she is, she did not say anything.
"Well according to my data, we should head up that way," explained Ai as he pointed up towards a dense forest that has a narrow trail leading through.
"YES! I love being on a team with Ai-Ai!" chirped Reiji.
"Good job Mikaze- senpai," praised Masato.
"Come on Haruka, let's go," asserted Ai as he grabbed onto her wrist and started to lead her up the path.
"O-okay Ai," stuttered Haruka as she went along with Ai.
"Hey wait for us Ai-Ai! Don't leave us behind!" whined Reiji as he ran to catch up with him.
"A-ah me too!" fretted Masato as he went along with the rest of the group.
Masato looked over at Haruka and when she smiled at Ai, he felt his cheeks heat up.
Why… thought Masato.
I wonder what Syo-kun is doing right now. I hope he is okay. Wait… why am I suddenly thinking about Syo? Harukas face suddenly turned bright red.
"Are you okay Haru- chan? Your face is all red," questioned Reiji worriedly.
"I-I'm fine Kotobuki- senpai," replied Haruka as she tried to get her heated face to cool down.
"Haruka, don't walk to close to him or you'll catch his idiocy," explained Ai as he pulled Haruka away from his bandmate.
"Ai-Ai! You're so mean!" whined Reiji.
With Ranmaru's group
"Alright, you idiots are going to follow me and listen to me. Got that?" commanded Ranmaru harshly.
"Heeyy no fair!" pouted Natsuki.
"Everyone, lets just look at the map and start this already," calmly suggested Tokiya.
"Yeah Let's work together!" cheered Cecil.
"Shut up brats and follow me," coldlyinstructed Ranmaru as he headed towards the forest.
"Wait for us!" hollered the three other boys.
Back with Syo's group
"Man this map is confusing!" muttered Syo as he and his group walked through the forest.
"Wah! Ren! There was a snake! A snake!" screamed Otoya as he jumped up in shock.
"Well what do you expect from a tropical forest Itokki," sighed Ren.
"Will you two bumbling commoners be quiet!" commanded Camus.
"Don't be so mean Camus-senpai!" whined Otoya.
"Who are the idiots again, Camus-senpai?" questioned Ren as he had a killer aura surrounding him.
"Don't speak so highly commoner!" raged out Camus.
"Calm down you two!" screeched Otoya as he tried to get them to stop bickering.
"Shut up!" yelled Camus and Ren in sync.
As they continued bickering, Syo stood on the side thinking to himself.
"That's it," murmured Syo to himself.
I'm going to Haruka! Thought Syo determinately.
So, as Syo's group was fighting, he headed away to find his beloved composer.
With Haruka's group
"eehhh? We have to get past this?!" exclaimed Reiji as he pointed towards a very large lake that was standing between them and where they had to go.
"Looks like it," calmly spoke Ai.
"This is going to be a pain," announced Masato as he looked across the lake.
"Umm, Senpai? How are we going to get across?" asked Haruka as she looked at Reiji quizzically.
"Swim of course my dear Haru-chan!" Proclaimed Reiji as he jumped in the water.
"There is no helping this guy," sighed Masato as he took off his shoes and slowly went into the water.
Suddenly Haruka wa swept off her feet. She closed her eyes in instincts and when she opened them, Ai was looking down on her. She blushed a little because Ai was holding her like a princess.
"We can't let you get wet," explained Ai as he started walking into the water.
"A-Ai! You don't have to do this!" stammered Haruka.
"Hey Ai-Ai! No flirting when we're playing a game!" whined Reiji as he looked over at the two.
"My data says that a guy should always look after a girl. Am I wrong?" replied Ai as he glared at Reiji.
"Y-yes," stuttered Reiji as he started to shrink away from Ai's menacing glare.
"This lake isn't that deep," commented Masato. That was true. The water didn't even reach any of the guy's waists.
"Hey, what's that Ai?" questioned Haruka as she pointed to a stream of water moving towards them.
"That's!" shouts Masato as he looks terrified.
Moments later a huge alligator pops up out of the water with its big jaws. Everyone starts freaking out and flailing, trying to get out of the water. Haruka screams so loud, that Ai drops her in panic. In all of this commotion, they don't keep track of each other.
Wherever Syo is
"AAAHHHHHHHH" screamed a girl very, VERY loudly.
"Haruka?!" frantically cried Syo.
"I'm coming. Hold on Haruka!" Declared Syo as he started sprinting off towards where he heard the scream come from.
Back to where Haruka is
"Phew, I'm glad that's done," spoke Masato as he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, I'm glad we made it out. Right Kotobuki-senpai?" answered Haruka as she slowly looked up.
"E-eh!? Ai! Kotobuki-senpai!" frantically called Haruka as she noticed that they were not with them.
"Calm down Nanami-san. We will just have to head back to the resort," instructed Masato.
"B-but what about the golden music note?" asked Haruka.
"That doesn't really matter. The others will be worried about us. This is the safest thing to do right now," asserted Masato.
"I guess," replied Haruka.
They slowly started to head in a direction Masato assumed would take them back to the resort. They walked on in silence as they tried to watch their step.
Abruptly, Masato stopped. Confused, Haruka stopped and looked at him.
"I…have something to say," stated Masato as he looked into Haruka's eyes directly. Haruka had a bad feeling in her heart, so she took a small step back away from her fellow co-worker.
I have to say it! Before Syo, thought Masato.
"I've always, I've always loved you Nanami-san!" declared Masato boldly. Haruka gasped in surprise. She was not expecting this. She cared about Masato, but not in that way. But, she did not want to hurt his feelings.
"I…" shakily responded Haruka.
Suddenly images of a certain someone popped into her head. She closed her eyes tight as she remembered. His smile, his personality, them laughing together and sleeping together. How warm she felt whenever they were together. How he would always try tp protect her no matter what. Then, a realisation struck Haruka straight in the face. She was in love with him. In love with Kurusu Syo. That explained why her heart beat so fast around him and why she got butterflies in her stomach whenever she saw him. That was because Nanami Haruka is in love with Kurusu Syo. She opened her eyes with a new look of satisfaction on her face.
"I'm sorry! It makes me happy that Hijirikawa-san has feelings for me, but I cannot accept them!" blurted out Haruka.
"Why not?" questioned Masato as he had a crestfallen expression.
"Because I-!"
Where Syo is at
Syo keeps walking through the tropical forest as he tries his best to find Haruka. He followed the voice from the scream and just guessed from there. He was hoping that luck would be one his side. He turned to look around when some red- orange hair caught his attention.
"Haruka!" shouted Syo as he started running towards her. It was weird because she didn't hear him at all. He looked at her again and noticed she had her eyes closed tight as if she was thinking. He got worried and started to come up to her, but stopped when he noticed someone else was there. He quickly hid behind a tree and peered out to notice Masato was standing there looking at Haruka expectantly. He was about to intervene when Haruka's eyes opened suddenly.
"I'm sorry! It makes me happy that Hijirikawa-san has feelings for me, but I cannot accept them!" blurted out Haruka.
"Why not?" questioned Masato as he had a crestfallen expression.
"He confessed!?" thought Syo angrily as he clenched his fists.
"Because I am in love with Kurusu Syo!" boomed Haruka.
What?! Thought both Masato and Syo as they stared at the composer in shock.
Hehehe! Little cliffhanger! I wrote a lot more in this chapter than I usually do so yay!
