Life isn't always Easy

Authors Note(I don't own any of the Glee characters) I wanna thank everyone who suggested websites I can get Microsoft Word, you were a big help, but it turns out I have wordpad on my laptop, Lol. To the guest that sent me links to photos they imagine Taylor and Adri look like, your link of "Adri" didn't work. I've asked this on my tumblr, but I don't think everyone has one so you haven't seen it, anyway, do any of you know someone who is good with photoshop, or if you yourself are, that would be great. I would really love a cover image for this story. I would give you credit in my AN, and even recommend you to other writers. PM me if you're interested, thank you and enjoy.

P.S. Just a reminder there are two Marys' one is Quinn's publicist, and the other is Anna's mother. If I remember correctly in one of the earlier chapters it was Crystal, and when I have the time, I'll go back and change that.

Daniela: Yeah, typo. Thanks for bringing that to my attention(I'm not being sarcastic, I'm really thanking you, lol) I like those suggestions, I'll try to fit it in the chapter. I had a guest tell me they would like a little brother for Taylor and Adri, and all I'm going to say about that is, keep reading(; Thanks for the review.

S. Warrior: Lol, that's ok. No, you're reading too much into it. Santana is just now noticing how similar Adri is to Sam, since it wasn't there before when she was a baby. Smh, Jessie, lol. I think readers didn't like her in WTHI, but she's more likeable in this story. If she's not, I'm not doing a good job writing her, haha. She just feels Taylor "drifting" away from her, and thought not telling her parents will make them close again. Adri will have bumps throughout the story because of the TS, but don't worry, she'll be fine. Thanks for the review.

It's been a while, for the first time I need a, last time on LIAE...

"Mami, sissy isn't with Jessie, she's over there."

Confused, Santana turns around and follows where the toddler is pointing to. Taylor quickly runs from behind one of the trash bins, to another tree, then looks to see if she was caught, and winces, seeing her mother's signature glare.

"Taylor Rose Lopez, get your ass over here, right now!" Santana gets the attention of the other adults. Quinn sees Taylor dragging her feet towards them, and shakes her head in disappointment, then walks over to her wife.

"You are in so much trouble, young lady. We're going home, then you're going to go up to your room. While I cool down, your mother and I will think of a punishment. Say goodbye to Anna." Santana says as Taylor reaches them. Taylor sighs.

"Bye, Anna." She says, defeated. Anna gives her a shy wave in response, since not having seen Santana yell like that before, scares her. Then saud woman turns her attention to her.

"I'm guessing your parents don't know you're here, so I advise you go back home. Taylor will let you know if she's allowed to use the phone when you see her at school tomorrow."

Anna only nods in response, knowing better than to talk back to the woman. Santana gestures with her head toward the entrance of the park, where their car is. "Let's go." Quinn takes Adrianna's hand as they walk. Reaching the slide, they say goodbye to the others before leaving.

Chapter Ten

As soon as they get home, without a word, Taylor goes upstairs to her room and slams the door behind her. Santana rolls her eyes, getting more angry. Quinn senses that and suggest Adri to play in her room.

"You need to calm down, baby."

Santana groans, running her fingers through her hair. "I can't help it, I can't believe her. How did she even get to the park? That's a long drive from the mall."

Quinn shrugs. "I don't know."

Santana huffs, pacing in the foyer, while Quinn leans against the stairs. Then Santana gets a thought, and stops walking. "You don't think Jessie dropped her off, do you?"

Again, Quinn shrugs. "I"m not sure what to think. I just know I'm really upset with Taylor right now."

Santana takes a deep breath. "She had to of driven her there. She couldn't have walked."

"Why would she do that?"

"We're talking about Jessie, babe. I'm gonna call her." She says walking into the kitchen. Quinn follows behind her.

"Shouldn't we discuss Taylor's punishment first?"

Santana shakes her head, dialing Jessie's number. "No, I want to know what happened first, the truth. Then it'll be easier to think of one." Quinn sighs, siting at the island, while Santana waits for Jessie to answer the phone.

"I knew I was going to get this call."

Santana groans. "So, you dropped her off at the park?" She asks bitterly.

"No, I dropped her off Anna's house. Just let me explain before you start yelling."

Santana huffs. "Fine. What possibly made you think going behind our back, was a good idea? Enlighten me."

"Taylor just wasn't herself when we were shopping. She told me what happened, and I wanted to make her feel better. I know I should've told you, I just thought it would be fun to have this secret just between us."

Santana scoffs, rolling her eyes. "You're an adult, Jessie, not her best friend. You can't undermine us like that, then she'll think whatever we say no to, she can just go to you." She argues back.

"I know, I know. I wasn't thinking."

"We made this arrangement, so she can spend time with you, not so you can drive her to her friends' house." Santana pauses to take a deep breath. "If this continues, we can easily stop these visits, and I honestly don't want to do that. I think Taylor still likes going, even if she says she doesn't."

"Will I be able to see her next weekend?"

"Yeah, this is just warning. Don't do it again." Santana doesn't wait for an answer, she just hangs up the phone.

"Now we have to dicuss a punishment for Taylor." Quinn says.

Santana groans. "I don't think a spanking will be enough."

Quinn breaths a sigh of relief. "I still don't like having to spank them."

Santana reaches over the island and covers Quinn's hand with her own, and creases it with her thumb. "Mi Amor, we agreed to spankings, it works for us. And you know the difference between what we do, and what your father did. They know why they're being hit, and we don't hit hard." She reminds her wife.

"I know. It's not as bad the first time you hit Taylor. I still have a little uneasiness feeling in my stomach though."

Santana brings Quinn's hand up to her lips, and kisses it a few times. "So, what do you think would be a proper punishment?"

Quinn bites her lip in thought. "The point of a punishment is to teach the kids their actions have consequences." Santana nods. "I don't think grounding her will do anything."

"I agree."

"I think she should have extra chores around the house. Adri and Taylor take turns setting the table, Taylor should do the dishes, vacum the rooms downstairs, and take out the trash on garbage days."

Santana nods. "How long will this go on for?"

Quinn shrugs. "The rest of the month."

"Sounds good to me. Let's go let Taylor know."

On their way to Taylor's room, they both check on Adrianna. She's siting in the middle of her room, playing with Taylor's old barbies. They also note the toddler shaking her head. Reaching their older daughter's room, Santana knocks on the closed door.

"Come in." Santana lets Quinn in first, then follows behind her. Taylor is siting on her bed, listenng to her iPod, while looking at her phone. "Usually only one of you come up for a spanking." She says, not taking her eyes of her phone. Quinn and Santana stand at the foot of her bed.

"You're not getting a spanking." Quinn tells her.

Taylor looks up, surprised and skeptical. "I'm not?" They shake their heads. "Why?"

Santana shrugs. "We don't think it'll be effective this time. But you're still being punished."

Taylor sighs. "I knew that was too easy." She grumbles. Then a thought accures to her. "You're not going to keep me from seeing Anna, are you?"

"Of course not." Quinn answers for them. "We would never keep you from your friends." Taylor breaths a sigh of relief.

"You're going to have extra chores around the house." Santana says. "Instead of just setting the table on your days, you're going to be washing them every night."

"You'll also be vaccuming the rooms downstairs, and on garbage days, you'll take it in front of the house. And I mean the garbage from every room in this house for a month." Quinn finishes.

Taylor grumbles. "Are you serious?" She whines.

"That's what happens when you have Jessie take you to your friend's house." Santana speaks up again, getting angry. "We set up the visits for a reason, and it's not for you to take advantage of."

Taylor looks down at her lap. "I'm sorry. I was mad I didn't get to talk to Anna, and I knew Jessie would take me."

"Yeah, we know. " Santana continues. "You can't go to Jessie when me or your Mother tell you no. If it happens again, we won't be so lenient with your punishment. Maybe a spanking will actually do the trick next time." Taylor sighs.

"Starting tomorrow, you'll vaccum the rooms after your homework, and wash the dishes after dinner."

"Ok."

Santana nods, then walks around the bed, and leans down to kiss the top of Taylor's head. "Te Amo, baby." She steps back, as Quinn walks over to the teen. She also kisses the top of her head.

"Do you want to talk about what happened between you and Anna at the park?"

Taylor shakes her head, then lays on her side. "No."

Quinn sighs. Santana holds her hand, and has them leave the room, closing the door behind them. "Do you think Anna said something to upset her?" Quinn asks her wife.

"Maybe. She'll tell us when she wants to, though. I'm gonna start on dinner, ok?"

Quinn nods. Santana kisses her cheek, then goes downstairs. Quinn looks towards Adrianna's room, and sees the toddler looking back at her, peaking out her door.

"What's wrong, baby?" She asks walking toward her, then kneals to her height. Adri opens the door a little further, so Quinn can see her face properly.

"Did sissy get a spanking?"

Quinn's heart jumps into her throat. "No, she didn't. I promise, she's grumpy, but she's ok."

Adri smiles, then tugs on Quinn's hand. "Come color with me, Mommy."

Quinn smiles in return, following Adri in her room. They sit down at a tiny table Adri got for Christmas the year before. They kept Taylor's so she would have one downstairs too, and Santana can be a hoarder. Quinn colors from a Hello Kitty coloring book, while Adri colors from a Disney princess one.

"Have you been practicing your Spanish? It's been awhile since Mami tested you." Both Santana and Quinn agreed their children know both Spanish and English. A year after the "Jessie incident" as they call it, Santana taught Taylor, but she rarely speaks it now.

"Si."

"Mami taught me some words too." Quinn picks up a pencil, and holds it up. "What's this called?"

Adri looks up and smiles, confident she knows the answer. "Lápiz."

Quinn also smiles in return. "Buena chica." She puts the pencil down, then picks up a pink crayon. "What color is this?"

Adri bites her lip, then smiles brightly. "Rosa."

"Very good, baby. I'm afraid that's all I know. You'll have to practice with Mami later." They both turn their heads torward the door, hearing Taylor timidly knock.

"Anna called. Can I go to Breadstix with her?"

Quinn sighs. "You'll have to ask your Mami."

Taylor groans. "Why can't you just decide for yourself?" She asks bitterly before walking out of the room. Quinn huffs, following her down the hall.

"Taylor." She calls after her, stopping the teen from going any further. "I told you to ask Mami because a decision like this is something we both have to agree on. If you'd let me finish, I was going to say I don't mind, but you still have to ask your Mami."

Taylor sighs, looking a little guiltly. "Sorry. I'll go ask her."

"I know, it's ok." Quinn goes to return to Adri's room, when Taylor stops her.

"Change her sheets." Quinn looks back at her, confused. "Adri told me the sheets make her skin itchy, that's why she can't sleep. So, either change them, or use a different fabric softener."

Quinn smiles. "Thanks for telling me. I'll let your Mami know."

Taylor nods, then goes downstairs into the kitchen. Santana is singing to herself, flipping burgers on the stove. "M-Mami." Santana hums in response, distracted. "Anna called. Can I got to Breadstix with her?"

Santana puts the spatula down, then turns around, crossing her arms. "You just saw her earlier, why do you need to go?"

"This is my chance to convince her parents my sexuality won't affect my relationship with her."

Santana sighs. "How are you getting there?"

She shrugs. "I was thinking Aunt Brittany could take me."

Santana shakes her head. "I'll drop you off. Call us when you leave, cause I excpect them to drop you off." Taylor nods. "Let me go tell your Mother." Santana goes upstairs breifly, and returns with Quinn and Adrianna.

"Baby, play with your toys, while I finish dinner, ok?"

The toddler nods, going into the living room. "Bye, sissy." She says passing Taylor.

The teen smiles. "Bye. I won't be gone long."

Quinn kisses Santana good bye before going into the kitchen. Santana grabs her keys, then she and Taylor go out to the garage.

"Why is it that whenever we all go somewhere, we take Mommy's car? Why don't we ever take yours?" Taylor asks, as they get into Santana's Chevy Cruze.

"Becasue Mommy's car is bigger." Santana answers, while pressing the button on her remote to open the garage door. "So, what do you have planned to tell her parents?"

"I don't know exactly, I just have an idea."

Santana backs out of the garage, then stops to close the door before backing out on to the street. "That's bold." Taylor shrugs. Santana sighs. "Not to discourage you, but what happens if this doesn't work?"

"I haven't thought that far ahead yet." She says, looking down at her lap, then looks back up at Santana. "C-Could you talk to them?"

"I think they'd have enough of this talk by then." Taylor looks out her window, defeated. "But they'll have to suck it up."

Taylor looks back at her, smiling. "Gracias, Mami."

Santana winks in response, then turns the radio up. Taylor gets more and more nervous as they get closer to the mall. But to distract her, Santana blasts the radio, and both sing along to the teens favorite songs. When they do arrive, Santana reminds her again to call when she's leaving, and also wishes her good luck before going back to the house.

Taylor takes a deep breath, then goes inside the mall and heads over to the Breadstix restaruant that has been there since her parents were little. She informs the bus boy who she's there to meet with, and the teen not much older than her, escorts her to their table. As expected, Richard and Crystal look surprised.

"What's going on, honey?" Crystal asks Anna.

"I told you one of my friends would be meeting us here."

Richard huffs. "No, you said Maci would be meeting us here."

She bites her lip, giving him an apologetic look. "We didn't know what else to do. I really like her, and you didn't listen to her Mother, so Taylor wanted to talk to you."

Taylor continues to stand by the table, feeling more nervous than ever. "I know you wouldn't agree if I asked she come over to talk, this was the only thing we could think of."

Technically it was Taylor's idea, but she knows when to keep her mouth shut. Richard sighs, then gestures for Taylor to take a seat next to Anna. She smiles politely sitting down.

"Thank you, Sir."

He nods. "How about we get right into it before our waiter comes over?" Crystal suggests.

Taylor nods. "That's fine." She opens her mouth to explain herself, but Richard cuts her off.

"We already told your Mother we're worried about you hurting our Anna."

Taylor sighs. "Because I'm Bi, and you're afraid I'll cheat on her, or leave her for some boy." She finishes for him. He nods. "I guess I can understand that, but I promise that won't happen."

"How can you be so sure?" Crystal asks. Anna stays silent, crossing her fingers under the table.

"My sexuality doesn't increase chances of me cheating. I wouldn't cheat, I care too much about Anna to hurt her." Anna looks down at her lap with a bashful smile. "Hypothetically, if I did cheat, I could easily do it with a girl too. And Anna could do the same to me. But I know she wouldn't." She adds. "If I wanted out of the relationship, it wouldn't be because of another person." She reassures them. Both Richard and Crystal look at her with unreadable expressions.

"I didn't think about it like that." Richard says.

"There are a lot of myths about Bisexuals. My Aunt Brittany is Bi too, and we would talk about it all the time, and I've seen it with her too. People are always asking her questions like that."

"We're sorry we implied you were a bad person." Crystal apologizes.

Taylor smiles. "It's ok."

Anna looks between her parents, hopeful. "Does this mean you approve? I can officially start dating Taylor now?"

Richard and Crystal look at each other, having a silent conversation. Richard turns back to the teens sitting across from them, and nods. "We approve." Both girls smile, and breath a sigh of relief.

"We'll probably still be a little wary though." Crystal warns. "Not because we don't trust you, but it'll take some time for our brains to think differently."

"It's ok, I understand."

Their waiter approaches their table, and everyone orders their drinks and their meals.

Arriving home, Quinn announces to Santana that Dinner is ready. She puts her car keys back on it's hook, then goes into the kitchen. Adrianna is already in her booster seat. Quinn is putting food on the toddler's plate. Santana smiles, walking up to her wife and kissing her cheek.

"Smells good."

She snorts in response. "You cooked it, babe."

Santana kisses the top of Adri's head, then takes a seat across from her. "I know, that's why I said it smells good." She says with a laugh.

Quinn sits next to Adri and gasps. "Are you implying I'm not a good cook?"

"No, I'm implying I'm better." Again she gasps, this time throwing a fry at her.

"No throwing food." Adri scolds her mother, making Santana chuckle more.

Quinn looks down at Adri looking apologetic, and rubs her back. "You're right, baby. Mommy's sorry." For a few minutes they eat in silence, until Quinn speaks up again. "Was Taylor nervous when you dropped her off?"

Santana nods. "She was before we got there. I blasted the radio to distract her, but as soon as I pulled in I could see how nervous she was."

"I hope this works out for her. How long were we saying she has a crush on Anna?"

"I know, but if she hurts my baby again, Snix is coming."

Quinn rolls her eyes, albeit with a smile. "Ok, for one, you can't hurt a minor, and two, it wasn't Anna that hurt her, it was what she told her that hurt." She reminds her wife.

"Fine, if her asshole parents hurt her again, Snix will make an appearance, and it'll be legal."

Quinn snorts. "No, it wouldn't. You'd get arrested for assualt." Santana rolls her eyes this time.

"Asshole."

Both Quinn and Santana look over at Adri, eating the pieces of hamburger Quinn cut for her. Then Quinn glares at her wife. "Baby, that's a bad word, don't repeat what Mami said. Next time you'll get a spanking." Santana scolds the toddler.

"Sorry." She apologizes. "I can't help it." Quinn rubs her back, as Santana sighs, realizing it was a tick. "Can Chloe come over to play tomorrow? I miss her."

"School is tomorrow, sweets. You'll see her then, and you can play during recess." Quinn reminds her.

Santana grumbles. "Don't remind me I have work tomorrow."

Quinn looks at her curiously. "If you hate your job so much, why don't you consider finding one you do like?"

Santana shrugs. "I don't hate it, I just don't like dealing with the parents."

"I thought you just had to focus on the students?"

She nods. "I do, but when one of them is failing, I have to talk to their parents. They can be a pain in the a-." Santana stops herself, remembering Adri repeated her earlier.

"I'm done." Adri announces.

Quinn smiles down at her, seeing the toddler ate most of her food. "Good job, sweets. Put your plate in the sink for sissy to clean."

She helps Adri out of her booster seat, and the four year old goes over to the sink. Standing on her toes, she puts her plate inside. The doorbell then rings, confusing both Santana and Quinn, not expecting any company at this late in the day. Adri runs out of the room.

"I'll get it!"

Quinn follows after her, stopping the toddler from opening the door. "What have me and Mami told you about answering the door?"

"Not to open it unless we have company." She recites. Quinn nods, then picks her up before opening the door. José smiles, and pulls them both in for a hug.

"Hello my girls, how are you?"

Quinn smiles in return, pulling away from the embrace. "We're doing ok." She steps aside to let him in, then closes the door. "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but what are you doing here?"

"We haven't spoken on the phone since you left for New York. I would call again, but I wasn't sure if anyone would answer, and I would rather visit instead."

Quinn looks a little guilty. "I'm sorry about that."

He waves her off. "It's fine. It gave me an excuse to come over."

Santana walks out of the kitchen, but doesn't notice her father yet, busy texting Taylor on her phone. "Who was at the door, Mi Amor?"

"Abuelo!" Adrianna answers for her.

Santana looks up from her phone and smiles. Then gives the man a hug. "¡Hola, Papi."

"¿Cómo está mi niña?"

"Good."

He nods. "That's good to hear." He turns his attention to Quinn. "Hand over my grand baby, it's my duty to spoil her." Quinn and Santana chuckle as Josie takes Adrianna from Quinn. He kisses the toddler's cheek, then looks to her parents'. "How well does she speak Spanish? Better than Taylor, I hope."

Santana rolls her eyes. "Papi, Taylor can speak it very well, she just chooses not to."

The man rolls his eyes, much like Santana had. "Well when I see her, I'll test her myself."

"Abuelo, Yo puedo hablar español."

He smiles at his granddaughter. "Muy buena." Adrianna smiles brightly with pride. "What about you, Mija?" He asks Quinn. "How much Spanish do you know?"

She bites her lip, guilty. "Not much."

He shakes his head. "How do you expect to understand your children?"

She shrugs. "Santana?"

Again, he shakes his head, moving their conversation into the living room. "Estas chicas me vuelven loco." Adrianna giggles. Santana and Quinn follow, and sit on the loveseat, while Josie and Adrianna take the other couch. Josie looks around, realizing his other granddaughter hasn't greeted him yet. "Where's my other grand baby?"

"She's at Breadstix, with her friend Anna." Santana answers.

"I didn't think you'd allow that on a school night." He says with a smirk, teasing his daughter.

She rolls her eyes. "Technically I shouldn't have allowed it after what she pulled today."

He raises his brows. "Dare I ask?" Santana and Quinn explain what happened, and even a little bit of Taylor's and Anna's situation. "Oh well then, because of their circumstances, I would say it's ok. You didn't tell her she was grounded." He points out.

"Yeah, I know. But she wanted to see Anna, that's why she had Jessie take her." Santana argues back.

"But this time it's to talk to her parents. I know you don't want to take that away from her, which is why you dropped her off."

Santana sighs. "I hate it when you're right." She grumbles.

José and Quinn chuckle, then José gets serious. "What did the doctor in New York say?"

Santana sighs. She should have known that was why her father made an impromptu visit. "The same thing Dr. Holiday from the clinic said. They can't make a diagnosis unless she's had all the symptoms for a year."

He frowns at the news. "They're making you wait an entire year?" He asks with disbelief. Adrianna starts to get bored, so she climbs off the couch and plays with her toys.

"Dr. Holiday told me she doesn't want Adri on medication with serious side affects, if it turns out she doesn't need them." Quinn informs him.

"Well can't they do some kind of test?" They shake their heads.

"There's only tests to rule out other conditions that might be confused with TS." Santana answers.

José sighs, feeling helpless. "I did come here hoping to get some answers, but I also came to give my grand babies their presents." Adrianna smiles brightly, overhearing what her grandpa has for her. "I'll be right back, I left them in the car." José leaves to his car, but returns shortly with a large wrapped gift and a small gift bag. Adrianna gasps, smiling brightly. "The bigger one is yours. You sister will have to wait to open hers." He sets the bigger gift in the middle of the living room, and gives the other one to Quinn.

"Papi, you didn't have to get them anything." Santana tells him.

He shrugs with a smile. "What did I say earlier? It's my duty to spoil my grandchildren."

Despite being a little upset with her father, Santana smiles anyway. Adrianna enthusiastically opens her present, and gasps again. Inside the box is a big house for her barbies.

"What do you say to Abuelo, baby?" Quinn asks.

Adrianna walks over to Joise to give him a hug. "Gracias."

José hugs her tightly. "De nada."

Adrianna returns to her new toy, and realizes she can't open it on her own. "Can you open it, Mami?" She asks with her big hazel eyes and a pout.

"Of course I can, baby. Be patient while I get a knife." She says before going into the kitchen. But the little girl follows her anyway, making Quinn and José chuckle. Both shortly return, and Santana opens the box for Adri. Luckily there were no pieces that had to be put together, surprising the adults, so she played with it right away.

"You can't play long, Mija. It's almost time for your bath, then you'll be going to bed." Santana tells her.

Adrianna looks up at her with a pout. "No, I'm not tired." She whines.

"You will be after your bath." Santana continues.

"Listen to your Mami, sweetie." José jumps in. "Your toy will still be there tomorrow to play with. If I hear you weren't a good girl, I won't bring another gift the next time I come." He warns her. Quinn looks at the clock, and wonders when Taylor will be coming home.

"Are they dropping Taylor off?" She asks her wife. She nods. "It's almost eight thirty. I don't want her home late."

"I don't either, babe. Stix closes at nine, so they're probably on their way over now, though."

José looks down at his wristwatch and sighs. "I should go, I have an early morning myself." He stands up and stretches. Quinn and Santana also stand to escort him to the door. José hugs and kisses Adri before they do, then hugs and kisses them goodbye too. "Keep me updated." They nod, knowing what he's referring to.

"Bye, Papi. Te Amo."

He smiles at his daughter. "Te Amo, Mija."

He gives her and Quinn another hug and kiss before leaving. They watch as he pulls out of the drive way, and shortly after, Richard's car is pulling up to the sidewalk. Taylor hugs Anna before getting out of the car, and is surprised to see her mothers' on the front porch.

"Did you think I wasn't coming home, or something?"

"No. Your Abuelo was here." Santana answers for them. "He left right before you got here."

The teen pouts. "Awh, I missed him?" She nods. Taylor huffs going up the stairs. Then she stops in front of her parents' with a smile. "Did he leave a present?"

Santana rolls her eyes, while Quinn giggles. "Of course he did." She says opening the door.

"Score." Taylor says walking inside.

Adrianna runs into the foyer, smiling brightly. "Sissy, come see what Abuelo got me." The toddler takes her sister by the hand, and drags her in the living room. Quinn and Santana follow. Taylor gasps seeing the barbie house.

"That's a cool house, Adri. I'm jealous, I wish I had one like that when I was your age."

There are rare times Quinn and Santana are reminded of their older daughters past, but they try not to dwell on it.

"Abuelo got you something too." Adrianna says, pointing to the small gift bag on the loveseat.

Taylor goes over to the seat, and sits down while she opens it and actually squeals pulling out an ipod touch. "I always wanted one of these, and it's pink." She starts to take it out of it's package. "Can I put songs on it?"

"No." Santana answers.

Taylor pouts. "Why?"

"It's getting late, sweetie." Quinn speaks up. "School tomorrow."

Taylor huffs. "I still can't believe I have the same bed time as a four year old." She grumbles.

"Only on school nights." Santana says picking up Adrianna. "Bath time."

"No." Adrianna whines. "I'm not tired." Santana ignores her, going upstairs.

"You too, Tay. Come on." Taylor rolls her eyes, but follows Quinn upstairs. Not expecting her Mother to follow her to her room, however, she turns around with a confused expression.

"You going to tuck me in too?"

Quinn chuckles. "No. I wanna hear about your night." Taylor shrugs, then both of them go into the bedroom.

In the bathroom, Santana is having a difficult time getting Adrianna in the bath tub.

"Mija, you have to take a bath, or you'll stink. Do you want the other kids in your school to call you mean names?" Pouting still, she shakes her little head. "Then get your little butt in the tub, before I spank it."

"I don't wanna." She whines.

Santana closes her eyes and sighs deeply, her patience is running thin. She hears pounding on the floor and looks to see Adrianna jumping, making her anger simmer down. "Why are you jumping?"

Adri shrugs. "I have to, Mami."

And again her anger returns. Logically she knows she shouldn't be, but she's already sick and tired of those three words. "Get in the tub, Adri. It's getting close to your bed time."

Adri shakes her head, still jumping. Santana groans, running her fingers through her hair. She doesn't want to take her anger out on her daughter, so instead she seeks out Quinn. Her wife is more patient than she is.

Walking down the hall, she hears Quinn and Taylor from the teen's room due to the door being open ajar. She walks over with the intent to go inside, but when she hears what they're talking about, she gets nosey.

Quinn and Taylor sit on the bed, after the teen gets dressed into her pajamas.

"So, how did it go?"

Taylor smiles. "Good. Her parents are letting us date." Quinn smiles in return, happy for her daughter. "They're still a little wary, but not because they don't trust me. Something about changing their thinking."

Quinn leans down and kisses the top of her head. "I'm happy for you."

Taylor bites her lip, smiling bashfully. "Would it make me a nerd if I said I'm already planning our first official date?"

Quinn chuckles, so does Santana, still eavesdropping from behind the door. "No, it doesn't." She says rubbing her arm. "Do you have butterflies?"

Taylor nods. "Yeah. Did you have butterflies on your first date with Mami?"

Quinn smiles thinking about her wife. "I still get butterflies when I'm with your Mami." She answers truthfully. Santana puts her hand over her chest, falling even in more love with Quinn. "I've loved your Mami since I was a little girl."

With that being said, Santana decides to make her presence known. Walking in the room, she wipes a few tears, and climbs on the bed.

"Mami, have you been eavesdropping?" Santana doesn't answer her daughter, instead she crawls over Quinn and kisses her deeply, making the teen cringe. "Ew, why couldn't you just ask me to leave the room?" She asks getting out of the bed. She goes into her bathroom, and closes the door. Quinn smiles up at Santana, after pulling away.

"I was going to have you get Adri in the tub for me, she was being difficult. But then I heard you talking with Taylor, and couldn't resist."

Quinn leans up for another kiss. "I love you so much." Quinn whispers.

Santana creases her cheek. "I've loved you since we were kids too. It was always you, Mi Amor."

Taylor comes out of the bathroom, and seeing her parents' in the same position, she rolls her eyes. "Seriously, you're still at it?"

Santana scoffs. "I can kiss my wife whenever I want."

Quinn chuckles, and pats Santana's backside. "Come on, there's a four year old that still needs a bath."

Santana climbs off Quinn, and the blonde follows. Santana hugs and kisses Taylor. "Night, Mija. Te Amo."

"Te Amo, Mami."

Quinn also gives a hug and kiss before the couple go to the bathroom, Adrianna is still waiting. Going in the room though, they're meet with a surprise. Adrianna is sitting in the bath tub, filled with bubbles.

"Adrianna Maribel Lopez." Santana says, stopping the toddler's fun. "What in the world do you think you're doing?"

"I wanted bubbles, Mami." She says like the most obvious thing in the world.

"Look at this mess. You know you're not supposed to touch those bubbles, unless me or Mommy is with you. We keep them in the cabinet for a reason." Santana takes the towel she set on the toilet earlier, and wraps it around Adri, then picks her up out of the tub.

"I'll clean this up, babe." Quinn offers.

"She still needs a bath."

Adri shakes her head. "I washed myself, Mami. I'm a big girl." She says with pride.

Santana looks skeptical. "Did you wash all of your body, like me and Mommy showed you?" Adri nods. "Did you wash your hair real good?" Again, she nods. Quinn looks beyond the large mountain of bubbles, and sees the bottle of body wash, and shampoo are still open.

"Babe, she's telling the truth. She forgot to put the tops back on the bottles." She points out.

Santana huffs, then puts Adri on her feet and gives one good smack to her bottom, making her whimper. "Now I have to move the bubbles, and someone has to be in here with you at all times for your baths." Adri pouts, rubbing her bottom.

Quinn hates when Adri gets a spanking, but she can't undermine her wife, they both agreed this is what works for them.

"Come on, bedtime." Santana says, urging Adri to leave the room with her. The toddler drags her feet to her room, with Santana following behind her.

"I'm sorry, Mami. I didn't mean to put that much in."

Santana kneels to Adri's height. "I know, baby. But you deserved that spanking to your butt for being bold. Mommy and I still love you though, we always will. Spankings and punishments are not to be mean, they're to teach you a lesson, ok?" She nods. "Let's get your pajamas on."

Santana helps Adrianna pick out a pair, and assists in putting them on. Then she helps wash her face, and brush her teeth before tucking her into bed. Just when Santana crawls in next to the toddler, Quinn walks in.

"Bathroom is finally clean." She says with a tired sigh.

"Gracias." Santana thanks her.

She nods, then sits next to the little bed, since there isn't enough room. "Someone is ready for bed." Quinn says. Adri nods, then Quinn remembers something. "Do you want us to change your sheets?"

Santana looks at her confused, then widens her eyes. "Did she pee in the bed again?"

Quinn snorts. "No. Taylor told me earlier today that Adri said the sheets are itchy, and that's why she can't sleep." She explains.

"Oh, why didn't you tell us?" Adri shrugs. "Get up, we'll change them."

Santana and Adri get out of the bed. Quinn gets new sheets from the hall closet, and Santana takes the old ones off. Both put the new ones on, then Santana tucks Adri back into bed.

"Feel better, sweets?"

She nods. Quinn and Santana kiss her goodnight, then go to their room to get ready for bed. When they're done, they climb into bed and cuddle, laying on their sides facing one another, and wrapped in each others arms.

"It was nice seeing Dad today." Santana says.

Quinn hums in agreement. "He's worried about Adri." She notes.

"We're all worried about her." Santana corrects.

"Tomorrow I'll tell her teacher what's going on. That way she'll know what to do when she has another tick."

Santana yawns, getting tired. "Good thinking." She says closing her eyes.

Quinn smiles and kisses the tip of her nose, then pecks her lips. "Goodnight, honey. I love you."

Santana smiles in return, and purses her lips for another kiss. "I love you more."
