Happy late new years. I know I was going to update but the funny part is my computer decided not to work forcing me to wait. Well the wait is over as I fix it and I really tried my best this time. I got in near 2,000 words something I don't normally do but hey you guys were patient and I think you get a cookie.

As always Metal Gear is owned by Konami and Kojima while The Last of Us is owned by Naughty Dog.

The only thing I own is this story so lets get going!

Ten days have passed after Armstrong's attack and that event was what changed everything. His attack showed everyone beings more powerful than the infected and these men have Ellie's head on their list. Fifty brave men died in hope protecting Tommy's dam, The protection was just destroyed, and the generators were destroyed in the process as well. These important thing have left Tommy's group to turn into bandits which everyone was against but desperate times called for desperate measures.

"Ellie, Me and Raiden will attack the base a that is over that mountain. I want you to go with Wolf and John to scout out and steal supplies from the remaining Fireflies camps" Joel said has he started packing up.

"Joel look at us! We're turning into thieving murderers just like them and they didn't do anything to us!"

"Times are tough Ellie but we must not stick to the time or else we'll fall with them. Endure and Survive Ellie... Endure and survive."

Ellie raised a hand in protest but quickly realize that the saying "Endure and Survive" is exactly what it means. We have to endure anything just to survive.

"Fine do what you want but I'm regretting it!" Ellie said in protest.

"You know I hate this as much as you but my brother's base got ransack from someone searching for you, I'm just looking out for you." Joel said sincerely

Ellie was already walking away to her room. She wouldn't like this but she will do what Joel thinks is best, most of the time.

"So how did she take the news?" Raiden said worried

"Ugh she won't like it but because of her immunity, others will be after her like dogs chasing cars" Joel said.

"Just give it time to sink in because I wasn't ready to keep killing after my final mission but here I am still killing." Raiden added.

Raiden picked up his sword and some guns for the trip. The base their were going to raid was owned by Desperado but the cyborgs were out on a mission so this was their only chance.

Ellie's P.o.v

"Stop shitting me John!"

"But its true!"

"No way in existence is that true."

"Says the person that hasn't seen the past."

"There is no way that miniature helicopters came from the sky just to deliver you packages that you order online!"

I look back to make sure we were alone and not being follow. Even a mile away the dam was as amazing as ever. Wolf was just a few feet behind us and that made me feel a little safer. Once I felt safe I turned back to my conversation.

"Well tell me did you ever tried it before?" I asked with interest.

"It was during summer vacation and my dad was away so as a modern kid I went on the internet. Google + had just ruined YouTube so I went shopping and found this awesome thing. It was a Miao Dao, a type of Japanese sword was the modern cousin of the Katana. With a press of a button the sword was then shipped out in a small drone that came to my house."

I look at him wondering what was Google + or YouTube. Before I could say anything he kept going, not that is bug me.

"After 3 days I finally got it and the metal it was made of was extraordinary. Iridium alloy was used to make it so imagine what would happen if I upgraded it. Doktor was able to manage that but what I got was something special, a chemical reaction gave the sword a yellow color and it was on par with Jetstream Sam's murasama blade."

"Wow... where is the sword now?" I asked

"I have it on me right now. My dad's doesn't know but I have a box Doktor gave me containing all types of High-Frequency blades in a small container."

"Eh you're lying that time!"

"No this time I swear I do."

"Show me!"

"Not right now but maybe after this mission."

I huff in anger but quickly calmed down. I looked at John at despite everything going on, he was a little cute. His blond hair all spiked up, those deep blue eyes, and he was very strong and athletic. Must have been Raiden training him day and night.

I realize that I had to stop thinking about this kind of stuff as it could get me killed. I look at my map again and saw the base was just a few more miles.

"John, Ellie stop. my sensor detect a hostile threat just twenty feet ahead."

I couldn't see shit but I knew not to argue with Wolf. Immediately we both crouch and tried to think of a plan.

"Ellie, If we could neutralize him we could just manage to sneak in by claiming he shot us."

I honestly hate that plan. Why should we just get ourselves caught but at this point what options are remaining. I nodded my head in agreement and quietly John began to crawl towards him. John was behind him and that was when he attack.

The guard saw him and instantly fired, but John dodge most of them. Silently he cover the guards mouth and stabbed him right through the chest with his Miao Dio.

"Dude what's the plan now!?" I nearly screamed at him before he covered my mouth.

"We walk in and act hurt. They might let us in if we act good enough" said John.

John look towards the body and shudder in horror at what he has done, must've been his first kill.

"They're a lot different than virtual reality." John said.

"Yeah killing a man is a lot different than clickers, runners, or even bloaters." I said to reassure him.

"Yeah I guess so. Anyway our plan is to sneak in somehow. Wolf you job is to find as much metal alloy you can find got it?"

"Affirmative. assigning new directive." said Blade-Wolf.

"Okay now we know what to do, are you ready Ellie?"

I look at him. This was the most stupidest ideas ever but I have to trust him on this one.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I mutter.

I couldn't believe I got suck into this, limping towards enemy gate with fake blood all over my arm. On the wall we attract some attention but after a while the whole group was watching us.

"Help! someone's was shooting us. We barely made it out alive!" John shouted at the guards.

I also couldn't believe what I was hearing, snickering and them noticing I was a girl. Then one of them wanted only me to come into their base.

"She is with me, I won't let her go anywhere if I'm not following!" John said before I could protest.

The heavy gates slowly open and a large man came out to escort us. He carried a large M60 a gun I thought was extinct.

"Get it there you two! And also the boss will be coming in to pick up the girl." The large man snarl before he lock the door.

"Well great John got any good ideas to get out of here now!" I shouted at my friend.

The room was no smaller than a pantry but the door did seem but in a matter of seconds John came up with a good idea.

"Ellie is it possible to use your switchblade on that door so we can escape?"

"Yeah I think so..." I said unsurely.

"Get the door open and we'll look for their supplies. If things get tough Blade-Wolf will show up and help."

I quickly move my blade around the steel door until I felt what I was looking for. I gently slid my knife under it and unlock the door. We quietly open the door and before we got out we heard footsteps. John quickly grab my arms and pulled me under a box. We stood in complete silence until the approach the door.

"Are you sure it was a girl and not a spy?" the man inquired.

"Positive, she was with a boy who I think is no threat to us at all" the other man said.

"Good, good but there is one problem. They escape and your job was to prevent that."

He quickly pulled out a dagger and stab him straight in the heart.

"You failed me for the last time private. I make sure to tell your kin about your failure."

The man was struggling for survival until he started fading. I look at John and found out he was too close for comfort.

"Wow I didn't knew this was a little cramp eh?" John said with a nervous chuckle.

"Lets just go please, I don't want to be in a place where I'm always look at." I whisper

"Right so where do you think the supplies are?"

"If anywhere it would most likely be in a storage facility John." I said quietly.

We were sneaking around the base for a while and to our dismay this place didn't have much supplies. We kept on walking until John saw something suspicious.

"Hey Ellie does this wall look different at all?" He whispered

I must admit the wall paint was different. Almost everything was white except that small patch of ashen white.

"Could this be it?" I asked.

John stab the wall and slowly brought his sword down until it reach the bottom. I couldn't believe my eyes as what I saw was a ten inch steel door protecting all kinds of goodies. I unzip my bag and started pilling all I could into it. Medicine, ammo, food, weapons, and scrap metal was all going into my backpack. John was doing the same thing until something we didn't expect happen.

"Everyone! the two fuckers are stealing our supplies!"

I quickly look behind me and saw a man holding us at gunpoint. Soon the entire camp had us at gunpoint and then a man came out. The same man that killed his own men.

"Ah yes I was hoping you would show yourselves sooner or later. You save us the trouble of hunting you like dogs." Everyone started laughing in unison with him. I look at John and saw him either doing something stupid or he had a plan.

"If you let us go, we will let you all live!" John shouted at the man

"Are you stupid!?" I whisper angrily at him.

I was frozen in fear as I saw the man took interest and started walking to John. He pulled out a revolver and John regretted what he said.

"You are not the one holding the cards boy. If you just gave us the girl or didn't try to steal our supplies you would've been fine!"

I started panicking as I saw John look afraid. The sick bastard enjoy our reaction and to further it he place the barrel of the revolver on John's head.

"Don't worry, we'll make sure your remains won't be wasted!" the man said while laughing.
