It was torture sitting at the house and watching what was happening. There were a few times that Krista tried to leave to help the people, but was always stopped by Krillan or Tien. She knew she was no match for the androids or Cell, though that wouldn't stop her from trying.

They discussed how they could get to Cell especially since he could hide his power and would be gone by the time the others sensed him. How could they surprise him?

"I have an idea." Yamcha finally said. "We can take a plane. That way Cell won't sense us coming."

"That might work." Tien said.

They didn't waste any time and soon were on their way.

"Krista, can you tell us anything else about the androids? Piccolo asked.

"Nothing that Trunks and I haven't told you already. We haven't been able to defeat them in our time. We haven't found any weakness and the androids in this time are stronger."

"I'm sure by the time you and Trunks are done here and you go back to your time you will be able to defeat the androids." Krillan said.

"Yeah, but it won't bring anyone back."

Krista was silent as the others discussed more on what they could do. She tuned out what they were saying as she thought about all the lives that were destroyed because of the androids. Her own parents were killed and she can't even remember what they looked like. All the memories she had was of fear. Now she was making happy memories with Trunks, but the fear was still there.

"We could use Goku right about now." Krillan said. "I wonder how much longer he's going to be out."

Krista was snapped out of her thoughts when Goku appeared out of nowhere, making her shriek. The others looked surprised and relieved.

"Goku, you're awake. Are you feeling better?" Krillan asked.

"I'm feeling much better thanks to the medicine."

"It's so good to see you again, dad." Gohan said as he gave Goku a hug.

"Good to see you too, son." Goku then noticed Krista. "Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Krista. I come from the future like Trunks. It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard a lot of good things about you."

"Welcome to the team, Krista."

"Enough with the pleasantries." Piccolo said. "We need to focus on Cell."

"Well, I know I'm not strong enough to take on the androids, but I do know of a way to get a year's training in a day. Gohan, Trunks, Vegeta and I can do that and power up."

"There's a place where you can get a year's training in only a day?" Krista asked amazed. "That's so cool."

"Yep. Maybe with that we can have a chance. We'll catch up with you guys later."

"Um Goku, can you tell Trunks that I said hi and I'm all right?"

"Of course I will."

Krista smiled. "Thanks."

Gohan held Goku's hand and then they were gone. Krista stared at where they had stood with amazement. That technique could definitely come in handy.

The rest of them searched for Cell, but they found nothing except the clothes that were left behind from the people he absorbed. Piccolo was getting irritated because Cell had now become even stronger. With no such luck at finding Cell, they headed back to Roshi's house.

Krillan, Tien and Yamcha decided to get some sleep while they could, but Krista couldn't sleep. She leaned against the wall as she watched the horror on TV; Piccolo was also watching and he was getting angrier by the second.

Krista walked out of the house, not being able to watch any more. She felt so helpless just sitting here. At least Trunks was doing something useful. She looked back in the house, making sure no one was looking, then flew off. She probably should have told someone she was leaving, but she didn't think the androids would come way out here. She was sure she would be back before anyone even realized she was gone.

She didn't go too far from the Roshi house. There was another small island and she decided to land there to do some training herself.

Krista did some martial arts moves for a few minutes. Then she used telekinesis to make some rocks go flying. After a few, she turned her attention to a boulder. Concentrating, she put out her hand and sent the boulder flying.

Krista's thoughts went to Trunks. She was wondering how he was doing. If he wasn't busy training and if the others did need her then she probably would have tried to find him, but she knew she had to stay close to the others just in case the androids attacked. They would need all the help they could get.

Sensing a power lever brought Krista out of her thoughts. She wasn't sure who it was so she hid behind a rock. It wasn't long before Piccolo and the three androids landed. Krista groaned. This was not good.

Android 17 and Piccolo were talking, but Krista was too far away to hear what they were saying. Piccolo then started attacking and to her surprise he was able to get in a few hits. She knew he had merged with another Namek by the name of Kami, but she had no idea it would give him this much power.

Krista kept a safe distance as she continued watching the two fight. She wasn't about to draw attention to herself. Besides, she knew Piccolo would have a fit if he knew she was here. She was hoping no one could sense her.

There fight soon took them into the air. Piccolo hit 17 making him fall to the ground. Piccolo wasted no time in flying towards him and hitting him again. The force of the blow was so great that it made a crater in the ground. The ground shook, making Krista fall to the ground.

Krista stood up, but stumbled when she saw Cell.

When did he get here? She thought.

The others soon noticed him too, though the androids didn't seem worried. Maybe they didn't know Cell was targeting them. Cell then powered up and released a great amount of energy, destroying the rock that was hiding Krista.

"Crap." Krista said as she jumped to avoid the flying rocks.

Everyone looked at Krista and she wished that she could hide again. Piccolo was glaring at her.

"Krista, what are you doing here?" He yelled.

"Shouldn't you be more worried about Cell? 17, stay away from his tail. He's going to absorb you. I can't believe I just helped him."

"What do you mean absorb me?"

"This is another android created by Dr. Gero." Piccolo explained. "To reach his final form he has to absorb you and 18."

"I won't give him the chance." 17 said as he attacked Cell. Cell easily kicked him, sending him flying to the ground.

Cell advanced on 17, but Piccolo ran to intercept. Cell sent Piccolo flying with a punch. Piccolo quickly recovered and sent a powerful blast towards Cell. Once the smoke cleared, everyone was shocked to see that Cell didn't have a scratch on him. Cell then sent a blast at Piccolo, making him fall to the ground motionless.

Cell then turned his attention to 17. "So much for the mighty Piccolo. Now it's your turn."

Cell started walking towards 17. Krista knew she was no match for Cell, but she had to do something. If he absorbed both androids then there would be no stopping him.

As Krista flew towards him she put out her hand and used her power to send him flying. Then she sent a blast towards him. It did nothing to hurt him. Cell then quickly appeared in front of Krista and kicked her, sending her flying to the ground. Before she could get back up, Cell punched her in the stomach.

"If you know what's best for you, you will stay down."

"I will do no such thing." Krista struggled to stand up, but Cell kicked her.

Krista tried standing up, but she couldn't even sit up without pain shooting through her body. She only moved far enough so she could see what was going on. Cell had tried absorbing 17, but Android 16 stopped him and was now fighting. 16 was getting in more hits than anyone else did.

It seemed like 16 had the upper hand. He was getting in some good hits. 16 slammed Cell into the ground then sent a few powerful blasts at him.

"Well, it looks like you got him." 18 said.

"No, I didn't. I only slowed him down. You must get away while you can."

"I'm not leaving until I fight him." 17 said. "That last fight was embarrassing. I need to make up for that."

"You idiot." Krista yelled. "You can't defeat Cell. Don't let him-"

Krista was cut off when Cell suddenly popped up behind 17. 17 was caught off guard and had no time to react. It took Cell no time to absorb him and transformed into another form. 16 grabbed 18 and started running, though Cell quickly got in front of them.

While they were talking, Tien landed next to Krista and helped her up. "We need to get you out of here."

"No, we have to stop Cell. We can't let him absorb 18 as well."

"You're in no condition to fight. One more hit from Cell and you may not get back up. I don't want to have to tell Trunks you didn't make it out alive."

Krista pushed herself away from Tien. "I'm not leaving. I can't let Cell become unstoppable."

Krista and Tien were pulled out of their conversation when they noticed Cell kick Android 16. Krista went to stop Cell from getting to 18, but Tien stopped her. He then went in front of her and started blasting Cell.

"I'll hold him off." Tien said to the two androids."You guys need to get out of here."

Tien was doing a good job at holding Cell at bay, but Krista knew he would wear himself out if he kept this up. After a few minutes Tien collapsed to the ground. Krista looked at Tien then at Cell. He walked towards them and kicked Tien.

"Tien." She stood in front of Cell and prepared to fight.

Cell laughed. "You think you can fight me? You can barely stand."

"I won't let you hurt him."

"I don't think you have a choice." He then punched Krista in her stomach then kicked her, sending her flying. As she hit the ground she was sure a few ribs had broken.

Krista looked up at Cell with fear. There was no way out of this. She didn't have enough strength to fight and Tien was unconscious. Closing her eyes, she thought about Trunks and the happiness he had brought to her life.

I'm sorry, Trunks. I wasn't strong enough.
