Meera: *snickers*
Juliet: If you're going to mock me you might as well come out and say it.
Meera: Oh my god you had a tail! The same tail in my "toy box" by the way. I didn't know you were into furry fantasies.
Juliet: I'm not and will you please stop telling me all about your little trinkets in your sex trunk.
Meera: Why? You need to know all the different types of toys out there available to you. One day you might want to experience them. Seriously though, the tail was sexy. You totally could have had Robin Hood if you wanted.
Juliet: I told you I'm not into – Uh! Anyway let's let the readers get to the story.
Meera: Okay fine! You must be so boring in bed. Ugh! Enjoy the story.
Juliet: We don't own anything. It all belongs to Disney.
A Girl Amongst the Merry Men
The portal open up and once again Juliet was surrounded by nature, except this time she was back in a forest.
"Disney sure does love its nature settings," Juliet remarked taking in her surroundings. "I've been in three now and I'm sure you've encountered some for yourself huh, Meera." Juliet looked around and saw no sign of Meera and groaned.
"You've gotta be kidding me," Juliet said face palming. But what she was met with was a furry reddish-orange paw with opposable thumbs. "WHAT!" Juliet freaked out as she looked over her new body which had transformed into an anthropomorphic fox. When her body twitched her hands shot up to her ears, which were now located closer towards the top of her head underneath her hood. Juliet didn't have long to react to them as the next thing that drew her attention was the tail behind her.
"A tail?!" Juliet cried as she tried to grab it, running in a circle trying to catch it like a dog. Eventually she did though and held the bushy thing between her furry hands. "That's a tail! That's a tail! That's my tail! I have a fucking tail!" Juliet looked to the sky and shouted. "What the fuck Disney! Why'd you have to go and turn me into a Furry's sex fantasy!" Before Juliet had anymore time to complain somebody ran straight into her, knocking her down. "Hey what the hell!"
"Sorry Miss, we're in a bit of a hurry trying to run away from some guards. I suggest you do the same thing," the stranger said, picking up all of the items he dropped and continued on running.
"Maybe you should watch where you're going huh, Rob," a bear in a dress teased what Juliet now saw was a fox, also in a dress. However it was the rhinos charging behind them that got her up off the ground and running after the two.
"Hey, don't just leave me here!"
Juliet leaned against a fallen log trying to catch her breath. The three of them had managed to outrun the rhinos and she had followed the two strangers to safety to a hidden place in the forest.
"Is running away from rhino guards common for the two of you?" she asked breathless.
"Well, when you rob from the rich to give to the poor it's a common occurrence," the fox admitted.
"Rob from the rich and give to the poor?" Juliet repeated the phrase. "That's familiar. You sound like -" Juliet turned around and was astonished to see that the fox in the dress from before had just taken it off to reveal his true identity. "Robin Hood."
"The one and only," he said taking a bow.
"Wow, don't...don't I feel stupid," Juliet muttered to herself.
"And who is this fine lady we helped save?" Robin asked.
"Oh, um, my name is Juliet," she answered.
"It is nice to meet you Juliet," Robin said and kissed her hand. "This is my partner in crime, Little John."
"Pleasure to meet you, Miss," Little John said and kissed her hand like Robin had. Juliet paused, not helping but to think how Little John sounded exactly like Baloo, probably the same voice actor. "Are you alright miss?"
"Yeah, you just...remind me of a friend," Juliet answered.
"So Miss Juliet, what are you doing in Sherwood Forest?" Robin asked.
"Juliet, please, and well...I don't know. But I'm sure trouble will find me anyway," Juliet admitted.
"Well if you're heading to Nottingham you'll be sure to find it. Prince John has been giving everyone a hard time since King Richard left, taxin' all the poor people," Little John said.
"Prince John, is that the guy you just robbed?" Juliet asked, trying to remember the movie.
"Yes, mam," Little John answered.
"Good, that brat deserves it," Juliet said bluntly.
"Oh, so you're on our side," Robin commented happily. "Good, we could always use more people on our side. Welcome aboard."
"Wait, so I'm in your group that easily?" Juliet asked a bit confused.
"Of course, you seem trustworthy enough," Robin said as he began putting on another disguise. "Now, we've done the robbing part, would you care to come with me to the giving part? Though I promise you can be a part of the robbing part next time" Juliet paused for a minute, thinking it over, and then smiled at Robin.
"Count me in."
Robin had taken Juliet to a house to deliver a present to a special little birthday bunny named Skippy. It came to quite the surprise for the bunny, along with all of his friends and family there, to see Robin Hood in the flesh. They were a bit confused though when they saw Juliet.
"Who are you," one of the bunnies asked curiously.
"This is my new friend Juliet," Robin answered introducing her to the group. "She's helping me and Little John now."
"It's nice to meet you," Juliet said.
"Whoa you work with Robin Hood? That's so neat," the bunnies fawned excitedly.
"Well, introducing you to Juliet isn't the only reason we're here. Now where is the birthday boy?" Skippy pushed to the front of the crowd, jumping up and down to show that it was him Robin was looking for. "I've got just the right present for you," Robin said, taking out a small bow and giving it to the boy.
"For me? Gee, thanks, Mr. Robin Hood, sir. Hey, how do I look? Huh?" Skippy asked, posing with his new bow.
"Not much like Mr. Robin Hood," the boy's younger sister said.
"She's right. There is something missing. Of course!" Robin said and then placed his hat on top of Skippy's head. "There you go."
"Boy, oh, boy. Now how do I look?" Skippy asked as the hat fell past his eyes.
"That hat's too big," his sister giggled.
"I'm sure you'll grow into it," Juliet said trying to suppress her own giggles.
"I'm gonna try it out," Skippy said excited.
"How about you take Juliet along with you," Robin suggested, earning a confused look from Juliet herself.
"Huh? Don't you need me to help you guys?" she asked.
"Nah, you go ahead. I'm gonna need you to have at least a small knowledge of Nottingham. So go out and see it with the kids," Robin explained.
"Well, alright. But don't go and take anything without me," Juliet said to him and then thought to herself. "This will be the only time I'll be able to do something illegal and be applauded for it. Might as well bring out my inner rebel and enjoy it."
"Yay! Come on," Skippy said as both of his sister's grabbed her hands and lead her out of the house.
Juliet followed the kids as they followed the excited new archer, trying to gain some understanding of Nottingham and how to maneuver through it. She wasn't bad at navigating, she just needed a day or two with a map of some sort and she could figure out where things were and where she needed to go the majority of the time.
"You're pointing it too high," Skippy's big sister commented as Skippy aimed the arrow. Juliet couldn't help but wonder what exactly he was aiming at.
"I'm not either. Watch this," Skippy said. As he released the arrow it flew up into the air and landed right behind the castle wall.
"Uh-oh. Now you done it," Skippy's friend Toby commented scared. Skippy didn't seem to share his friend's feelings and was off towards the castle to retrieve his arrow.
"Skippy what are you doing?" Juliet asked confused.
"I'm going to get my arrow," Skippy answered.
"Skippy, you can't go in there," his sister said.
"Yeah. Prince John will chop off your head," Toby told him. Juliet looked up at the castle. Part of her felt uncomfortable being so close to the enemy's castle because she was now a part of Robin's team of thieves. As she stood there frozen with nerves Juliet didn't realize that the kids had headed closure to the castle to watch Skippy go retrieve his arrow. It was only when one of them sneezed that Juliet was brought out of her thoughts and headed down to the castle gate – deciding that Prince John wouldn't have any idea who she was so soon - only to see the kids head in. She herself wasn't able to get passed the bars of the iron fence gate and was stuck behind it, observing the scene. There was Maid Marian being badgered with questions by the kids.
"Gee, you're very beautiful. Are you gonna marry Robin Hood?" Skippy's older sister asked.
"Mama said you and Robin Hood are sweethearts," his little sister said.
"Well, um—You see, that was several years ago before I left for London -," Marian said and then noticed Juliet at the door. Juliet noticed the fox pause and stare at her in a bit of shock. She was confused before she realized that Marian might have mistaken her for Robin with the way she was dressed.
"Sorry to surprise you," Juliet said to Marian, identifying her gender and showing that she wasn't the fox Marian was hoping to see. "I can't really squeeze pass the bars like the kids to introduce myself. I'm Juliet by the way." Marian and Lady Kluck walked over to the gate.
"It's nice to meet you lass," Lady Kluck said shaking her hand through the bars.
"Sorry for staring at you earlier," Marian apologized. "It was just, from far away I thought you were –"
"Robin Hood?" Juliet interrupted. "It's the green tunic isn't it? But I guess that's the uniform of your neighborhood helpful thief. Not that I'm complaining, I quite like the outfit."
"Wait helpful thief? Have you joined…Robin?" Marian asked. "Has he mentioned me at all?"
"Well, I only just met him today so –," Juliet tried to answer.
"Oh, he's probably forgotten all about me," Marian lamented.
"Oh, not Robin Hood," Skippy said.
"I'm sure that he hasn't forgotten about you. In fact I bet he thinks about you all of the time," Juliet tried to reassure her.
"I bet he'll storm the castle gates, fight the guards, rescue you and drag you off to Sherwood Forest," Skippy said excited. Juliet watched as Lady Cluck and the kids helped raise Marian's mood with their make believe adventures of Robin Hood rescuing Marian.
She couldn't help but laugh at Lady Cluck's impression of Prince John sucking his thumb and acting like a little baby.
"I better head back. I'll be sure to keep tabs on lover boy for you?" Juliet winked at Marian who blushed and started to make her way towards Sherwood Forest.
Once she got back to the camp Juliet rushed over to a pot of stew, cooking on a campfire, and took over control of it before it burned.
"Whoa there Mr. Daydreamer, don't let all those pretty thoughts affect your cooking. We have to eat this you know," Juliet said while stirring the stew.
"Ah, he's just thinking about somebody with long eyelashes and smellin' sweet perfume," Little John teased. "Thanks for saving the chow, Jewels." Juliet couldn't help but flinch hearing Meera's nickname for her being spoken by someone else.
"Juliet, please," she corrected.
"I can't help it. I love her Johnny," Robin said.
"Look, why don't you stop moonin' and mopin' around. Just – Just marry the girl," Little John suggested while he continued to hang up laundry.
"You don't just walk up to a girl, hand her a bouquet and say, 'Hey, remember me? We were kids together. Will you marry me?' No. It just isn't done that way," Robin commented.
"He's right," Juliet agreed and then tasted the stew and frowned. "Wow, have you guys ever heard of spice?"
"Aw, come on, Robbie. Climb the castle walls. Sweep her off her feet. Carry her off in style," Little John said.
"It's no use Johnny. I've thought it all out, and…it just wouldn't work. Besides what have I got to offer her?" Robin sighed.
"A sense of adventure and passion," Juliet suggested.
"I'm serious. She's a highborn lady of quality," Robin said.
"So she's got class? So what?" Little John shrugged.
"I'm an outlaw, that's what. That's no life for a lovely lady. Always on the run. – What kind of a future is that?" Robin pointed out.
"And, what am I exactly?" Juliet asked a bit peeved.
"A woman of action and wise choices who is as much as a lady as anyone else," Little John came in to help dig Robin out of the hole he created.
"Nice save," Juliet said.
"Oh, for heaven's sake, son. You're no outlaw. Why someday you'll be called a great hero," Friar Tuck said as she walked into the camp.
"A hero? Do you hear that? We've just been pardoned," Robin laughed.
"You've been pardoned, I've never been accused of anything yet," Juliet pointed out, joining in on the laughter.
"Oh, you must be the new member to Robin's little group. I'm Friar Tuck," Friar Tuck said introducing himself to Juliet.
"I'm Juliet, it's nice to meet you," she said. "What brings you to this part of the forest?"
"I bring news. There's gonna be a big to-do in Nottingham," Friar Tuck said tasting the stew. He smiled at Juliet as if to say good job but she could see that even he thought the stew was missing some flavor. Juliet just motioned to Robin to which Friar Tuck nodded again, understanding what she was getting at. "Old Prince John's havin' a championship archery tournament tomorrow."
"Archery tournament? Ha! Old Rob could win that standin' on his head, huh, Rob?" Little John boasted.
"Thank you, Little John. But I'm sure we're not invited," Robin said.
"No, but there's somebody…who'll be very disappointed if you don't come," Friar Tuck suggested.
"Yeah, old Bushel Britches, the Honorable Sheriff of Nottingham," Little John said sarcastically. Juliet blinked, being reminded once again how Little John and Baloo were voiced by the same person.
"Is this somebody a lady with long eyelashes and sweet perfume and goes by the name of Maid Marian?" Juliet asked, knowing the answer.
"Maid Marian?" Robin asked surprised.
"Yeah. She's gonna give a kiss to the winner," Friar Tuck nodded.
"Kiss to the winner!" Robin said excited. "Oo-de-lally! Come on, Johnny, Juliet! What are we waiting for?"
"Wait a minute, Rob. Hold it. That place will be crawlin' with soldiers and we don't know how capable Juliet is of defending herself," Little John explained the reality of the situation. The boys looked to her.
"I've studied sword play and am able to duel wield. I've even helped take out a ship of pirates," Juliet answered, boasting a little bit.
"Ah, I knew you'd be brilliant," Robin said happily.
"However, I don't know how well that will be in a situation where bows and arrows would be the closest thing to grab for a weapon," Juliet admitted.
"That's a big risk trying to sneak in or get her a sword," Little John pointed out.
"Do you have any experience with archery?" Robin asked.
"None, I've never learned," she answered.
"Well, you're about to have one of the greatest archers in the land teach you," Robin said. Little John, Friar Tuck, and Juliet smiled.
Juliet stood in position as Robin set up a temporary target gripping the oak bow in her hand. Friar Tuck and Little John sat on the side, observing the lesson. Once he was done Robin walked over to Juliet to begin their lesson. After several minutes of talking about the correct stance, aiming, and all sorts of other instructions Juliet was ready to shoot for the first time. As she released the arrow it grazed the target and went straight into a nearby tree.
"That was totally what I was aiming for," Juliet muttered sarcastically.
"I think you missed you're target there," Little John laughed, earning a cold glare from Juliet.
"I wish I was better at this," Juliet sighed, not knowing what she had just said. A tingling sensation ran through her body as the words left her lips.
"Hey, it's your first time shooting. Just clear your mind and we can try again," Robin reassured the girl. As Robin went to retrieve the arrow Juliet tried to figure out what the tingling sensation was but was interrupted when Robin returned with the arrow. "Alright, now try again." Juliet took the arrow and focused once again on the target. Taking a deep breath Juliet released the arrow as the tingling sensation stopped. The arrow this time landed straight on the bull's-eye. Juliet stood there in shock as the others cheered.
"Alright, Juliet!" Little John celebrated.
"Well done Miss," Friar Tuck congratulated.
"I knew you'd be brilliant," Robin repeated. It took her a minute to figure out what had happened and when she did Juliet muttered a small damnit before turning to the boys and feigning surprise and happiness.
"I did it!" Juliet acted.
"Looks like we're ready for the tournament," Robin smiled.
Robin, Little John, and Juliet hid behind a bush as they watched people arrive at the tournament. Robin's interest however was a certain little female fox in pink.
"There she is. Isn't she beautiful?" Robin said fawning over her.
"Cool it, lover boy. Your heart's runnin' away with your head," Little John teased.
"Oh, stop worrying. This disguise would fool my own mother," Robin said showing off his crane costume which Juliet still didn't understand how it worked but then again it was Disney.
"Then maybe I should head over so I can help point you out," Juliet said.
"You know Marian?" Robin asked astonished.
"Yeah, we meet a few days ago, spent quite some time discussing a certain outlaw," Juliet smiled causing Robin to blush underneath his costume. "So I'll just head over there now…"
"Yes! You go do that!" Robin said excited, lightly pushing her in Maid Marian's direction causing Juliet to laugh.
"I think he's trying to tell you something," Little John laughed.
"And I hear him loud and clear, I'll see you guys during the tournament," Juliet said and made her way over to the other females.
"Och, He'll let you know somehow. That young rogue of yours is full of surprises, my dear," Juliet walked up to hear Lady Kluck say to a worrisome Maid Marian.
"And even if he doesn't I'll be sure to point him out for you," Juliet said hoping into the conversation.
"Oh, Juliet, it's nice to see you again," Lady Kluck greeted.
"Is it true, Juliet? Is he really here?" Marian asked grabbing hold of the girl outlaw's arm.
"Lover boy is here," Juliet answered earning arms thrown around her and a tight, thankful, hug.
"Oh, thank you Juliet. You have really become a quick friend," Marian thanked her.
"It's no problem Marian," Juliet replied, shaking off the surprise the hug brought.
"Marian, come over here and meet my new friend!" Prince John called over cheerfully. Juliet looked over to see the Little John had taken a seat next to the crybaby prince. Marian looked over at the other fox, a bit worried but all Juliet did was join arms with Marian.
"Come on girls, let's go introduce me to the prince," Juliet said. The women walked over to a cheerful Prince John and undercover Little John. "Oh, Marian, this fine fellow is Sir Reginald, Duke of Chutney."
"Oh, call me Reggie, PJ," Little John said to Prince John.
"Oh, yes, yes, Reggie. Oh, um, who is this?" Prince John asked, noticing Juliet amongst the group. Before Juliet had time to create a backstory Little John beat her to it.
"Ah, Juliet. PJ, this is my niece Lady Juliet. Juliet, this is Prince John."
"Your highness," Juliet said, grabbing the cloth of her skirt and curtsying. Trumpets announced and the contestants lined up for them to be paraded for Prince John. Juliet took her seat next to Marian and Lady Kluck. Robin stopped by the girls to interact with Marian.
"Ah, your Ladyship. Beggin' your pardon, but it's a great honor….to be shootin' for the favor of a lovely lady like yourself. I hopes I win the kiss," Robin said.
"Oh! Well, thank you, my thin-legged archer. I wished you luck," Marian said. Juliet saw her pause as she looked into Robin's eyes and then the happiness she expressed when Marian realized who she was talking to. "With all my heart."
Juliet turned to Marian as Robin left to get ready for the completion. "You have a great eye, Marian." Juliet sat there and watched as the archery competition started. She, along with the rest of the crowd, cheered for the crane disguised Robin Hood and booed at the most "honorable" Sheriff of Nottingham. There was a large cheer in the crowd as Robin split the Sheriff's arrow and won the competition. Juliet could see Marian's eyes light up as Robin approached.
"Archer, I commend you, and because of…your superior skill, you shall get what is coming to you," Prince John said, sending a bad vibe to Juliet. "Our royal congratulations."
"Oh, thank you kindly, Your Highness," Robin replied in character.
"And now I name you…the winner," Prince John said and then slipped his sword underneath Robin's costume. With a swift slice Robin's disguise fell off, revealing his true identity. "Or more appropriately, the loser! Seize him. I sentence you to sudden, instant and even…immediate death!" Juliet's composure was put to a test as Robin was seized by the rhino guards, as much as she wanted to help she needed to wait for the right moment.
"Oh, no! Oh! Please. Please, sire. I beg of you to spare his life. Please have mercy," Marian begged Prince John, signs of tears appearing in her eyes.
"My dear emotional lady, why should I?" he asked.
"Because I love him, Your Highness," Marian admitted. Juliet sent Robin a look that screamed 'I told you so'.
"'Love him'? And does this prisoner return your love?" Prince John laughed. Marian looked over at Robin, vulnerable to what his answer would be.
"Marin, my darling, I love you more than life itself," Robin admitted. Juliet smiled at the couple as did Marian at Robin's response.
"Ah, young love. Your pleas have not fallen upon a heart of stone. But traitors to the crown must die!" Prince John said.
"Traitor to the crown? That crown belongs to King Richard. Long live King Richard!" Robin retaliated. Juliet took this as her cue and quietly slipped away as the crowd repeated after Robin. Juliet sneaked around the different tents sent up looking for a weapon of some sort and was surprised to find a sword and a bow and arrow and a sword on a table.
"Wow, that's awfully covenant. Um, thanks Disney," Juliet muttered to herself. She grabbed to sword and hooked the sheath around her waist. Cries sounded causing Juliet to hurriedly grab the bow and an arrow. She ran over to see that the fighting had already started and that Prince John was about to raise his sword to strike down Robin. Quickly Juliet readied her bow and took aim.
"I only got one shot. That wish better still be active," Juliet thought to herself and released the arrow. She cheered as the arrow knocked the sword out of Prince John's hands earning a smile from Robin.
"Brilliant Juliet!" he shouted praise as Prince John ran to hide from all the action now that he was disarmed.
"Run for it lassie! This is no place for a lady!" Lady Kluck waved to Marian as she joined in the fight.
"I beg to differ," Juliet corrected, tossing the bow and drawing her sword.
"You know how to sword fight? Oh, I shouldn't be surprised with you bein' one of Robin's gang," Lady Cluck admitted. Juliet helped Lady Cluck take out the Sheriff of Nottingham before a cry from Marian drew her attention. Luckily Robin was there to save her from Prince John's guard but Juliet ran over to help Robin take out the group of guards that were one them.
"Marian, my love, will you marry me?" Robin asked.
"Oh, darling, I thought you'd never ask me. But you could have chosen a more romantic setting," Marian answered standing behind Robin as he and Juliet fought the guards.
"And for our honeymoon, London! Normandy! Sunny Spain!" Robin listed excited.
"Yes! Why not?" Marian agreed.
"We'll have six children," Robin said causing Juliet to wince at the thought of popping out six children.
"Six? Oh, a dozen at least!" Marian added, turning Juliet's wince into a shudder and a mimed 'ow'.
"Hey love birds, how about was stop talking about your adorable future and focus on the present fight at the moment," Juliet piped in. Marian seemed to understand as she threw a pie at one of the Sheriff's lackeys, causing Juliet to laugh. Soon enough Juliet found herself, along with the rest of Robin's crew, retreat back to Sherwood. When she was finally able to stop running a smile appeared on her face as adrenaline rushed through her body.
"God, I missed that feeling," Juliet breathed.
Juliet watched from afar as Robin and Marian spent some well-deserved alone time together. With night having fallen the rose glow from the fireflies laced a romantic atmosphere. Juliet didn't know whether it was just the atmosphere or the magic of Disney but she started singing, adding to the romance in the air.
"Love it seems like only yesterday
You were just a child at play
Now you're all grown up
Inside of me
Oh, how fast those moments flee
Once we watched a lazy world go by
Now the days see to fly
Life is brief
But when it's gone
Love goes on and on"
Juliet switched to a soft humming as she continued to watch the couple, Robin slipping a make shift engagement ring onto Marian's finger. It was nice to see people find their true love. Juliet hoped that she would find love for herself eventually, but with everything going on with Meera, love had to be put on hold for a while. Instead, Juliet would just have to indulge in the love others found. As she strolled away in the forest Juliet continued to sing, leaving the couple to themselves with her fading song in the background.
"Once we watched a lazy world go by
Now the days seem to fly
Life is brief
But when it's gone
Love goes on and on"
Juliet joined the surprise party back at camp but hung back at first as Robin and Marian came in to cheers.
"Surprise! Long live Robin Hood!" Friar Tuck cheered.
"Hooray! And long live Maid Marian! Bravo!" a mouse and his wife added. Juliet clapped along while Little John began to sing and the party started. Eventually she was dragged into dancing and enjoyed herself for the rest of the night, knowing that the peacefulness and joy will disappear soon enough.
And she was right. Soon enough Prince John raised taxes to a ridiculous amount causing everybody to be jailed unfairly, just because he was butt hurt by a simple little song the commoners created. Once Friar Tuck was arrested Robin Hood and the team took action. Juliet was currently sneaking into the jail with Little John to free everyone while Robin headed up into the castle to grab the money Prince John unrightfully took. Friar Tuck smiled brightly as Little John released him from his chains.
"Oh, Little John, Juliet, it can't be!" Friar Tuck cried out in happiness.
"Shhh, quiet," Juliet hushed.
"We're bustin' out of here," Little John explained.
"Thank God. My prayers have been answered," Friar Tuck breathed out in relief. Little John and Juliet went around the jail cell releasing everyone from their bonds.
"I'm ready. Where's the bad guys?" Skippy said excited.
"Take it easy there little guy," Juliet chuckled. Little John and Juliet walked over to the window as Robin shot an arrow into a stone of the jail with a rope attached to it. Little John took the rope, strung it around a loop and shot it back up to Robin in Prince John's bedroom. Soon enough Robin was sending down bags of gold into the jail. Little John manned the makeshift pulley system while Juliet untied the bags and handed them to the prisoners. With enough gold Juliet lead everyone out of the cell while Little John took care of the Sheriff and his guards. Unfortunately morning came earlier than they thought and Robin had to make a quick escape from Prince John. With the guards and Prince John now aware everyone had to step up their pace as the commoners made their escape with the gold. Juliet led them as best as she could as Robin and Little John took control of protecting everyone from the raining arrows from the guards. Every once in a while Juliet would stop and fire a shot of her own but mostly aided Friar Tuck in loading everyone up in the wagon. Everything was going alright when making their escape until a cry stopped them in their tracks.
"Mama, Mama, wait for me," a little bunny shouted, still inside the castle walls. Robin ran to get the little girl but ended up getting stuck behind the castle gate. Juliet ran up to the gate as Robin slipped her the little bunny between the bars.
"Keep going. Don't worry about me," Robin told her. Juliet nodded and carried the bunny as she ran back to the wagon.
"Move it!" Juliet ordered as she placed the bunny back in her mother's arms.
"What about Rob?" Little John asked worried.
"He'll be fine. Let's just get these people to safety, we can meet up later," Juliet reassured. Little John nodded as the wagon was pulled into Sherwood Forest. Juliet couldn't help but stop at the edge and looked back to see Robin scaling the castle in attempt to escape. Once everyone was safe Juliet joined Little John back towards the castle to check up with how Robin was doing. She let out a light gasp as Robin jumped from the roof of a flaming tower down into the moat. A somber feeling fell as Robin didn't surface. Little John was about to leave when Juliet spotted a stick moving through the water.
"Hey, look," Juliet said pointing towards the stick. Her and Little John got down close to the riverbank as the stick got closer. Juliet smiled as Robin appeared from below the stick and spit water into Little John's face.
"Hey, what the – Oh, man, did you have me worried, Rob. I thought you were long gone," Little John admitted.
"Oh come on Little John, you gotta have more faith in him. After all your time together I thought it would take longer for you to think he hit the bucket" Juliet laughed and helped Robin out of the water, causing Little John to blush. Robin just turned back to Prince John.
"A pox on the phony King of England! Oo-de-lally! Oo-de-lally!" Robin shouted back at them in victory. Juliet smiled, knowing things would only get better from here.
Once again Juliet was right as she stood outside the church, watching as Robin and Marian came out from their wedding followed by the first Disney lion king, King Richard who stood next to Friar Tuck. Juliet herself was humming a familiar song for the wedding.
"Oh, Friar Tuck, it appears that I now have an outlaw for an in-law," King Richard laughed.
"Yes, not bad," Friar Tuck agreed. Once Marian and Robin got into their carriage they turned back and waved at Juliet. With a quick toss Marian threw her bouquet at Juliet who caught it. Juliet chuckled before handing it to the oldest of the bunny children.
"Love goes on and on"
As she finished her song Juliet's attention was brought to a familiar mouse gesturing to a portal that just opened. With everyone distracted with the wedding Juliet decided to sneak away, refusing to interrupt the happy event. Before heading into the portal Juliet took one last look back at Robin and Marian's carriage. Smiling at the love she saw Juliet made her way into the portal and onto the next story, hoping Meera will meet her there.
Meera: Bad girl, bad girl, whatca gonna do? Whatca gonna do when they come for you.
Juliet: You know even as an outlaw I was still a hero right?
Meera: How come when I do bad things I'm the villain but when it's you you're the hero?
Juliet: Well when I do bad things it's to aid the poor from an evil crybaby prince who stole the throne. When you do bad things it's mainly hurting/killing people.
Meera: No you have it all wrong. I'm just looking out for me. And btw I don't think that King Richard guy was so bad.
Juliet: So looking out for you consists of trying to push princesses from their princes and trying to kill kids because they annoy you? And King Richard is the one who showed up at the end. Prince John was the faux ruler throughout the story.
Meera: Oh yeah. Well in that case he was horrible. And I don't see what's so bad about anything I've done.
Juliet: Of course you don't. If you enjoyed this chapter be sure to leave us a review.
