Setting: Right after the Doctor leaves the Duplicate Doctor and Rose on Bad Wolf Bay.

Three Minutes
You can do many things in three minutes. You can listen to a song, full of love and hate, heartbreak and happiness. You can say 'I do' to the person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. You can fall asleep and dream of finding your way back home.
You can also fall in love all over again.
He held her as she cried for the loss of her Doctor. It was all so familiar. The way he held her, the scent of him, his hair, his eyes, his smile, it was all him. In his arms, she felt safe; she felt like this was where she belonged.
She felt loved.
He had whispered those words in her ear. Those words she had been longing to hear since the day he had vanished from her life on the very same beach.
She clung to him, feeling his single heartbeat. He whispered words of comfort in her ear.
"I'm here. I'm here and I will never, ever leave you. I love you."
He repeated those words, and his voice made a shiver run down her spine, made her heart beat faster. She pulled away and looked into his eyes. What she astounded her. When she had looked into the eyes of the Time Lord one, she could never quite read his emotions. His walls were constantly up, desperately trying not to give anything away.
When she looked into this man's eyes, all his walls were gone, his emotions shining through. Love, contentment, happiness.
In that second, she realized she was still in love with him. He only had one heart; he did not have all of time and space to offer. He was part human, but he was still the Doctor.
Her Doctor.
Three minutes after the other Doctor left her, she gently pressed her lips to his.
