"Xanthe…"
"Capris? I wasn't expecting you to be wanting to talk to me the moment I returned. It must be serious. What is it?"
"You don't seem to be in the mood to talk."
What was this about? Capris sounded so serious, I had never heard her so calm yet so torn up about something. I didn't want to know. I didn't want to pry, but I had to know why Xanthe was acting strange. I pressed my ear firmly against the doors, trying to get every bit of information I could.
"Capris, I had a long few days of boring ass meetings and an unbelievable amount of stress, so can you make this quick or…"
"It is about Remisa…"
"What about her?" Xanthe grumbles, probably remembering the events that took place last week.
"I want her."
"You...what?" He lets out a hearty laugh, the faint sound of him sinking in seat resonating off the walls. "You want her? For what?"
"I want her to be my servant. Not for anyone else...strictly for me!"
"And why should I give her to you? What will you do for her? Set her free? Oh, or let her live a peaceful, loving life with you? What can you give her Capris Vikaro?"
I sit there, confused by this whole situation. How dare they figure out my fate for me. I wasn't some toy. Something they could trade off every now and then. It was almost sickening, and I found myself despising the both of them. But that was the life I got….It was normal to be auctioned off to other highbloods.
"She will just be my servant. I've thought hard about it for the past week and I think I can learn from having her by my side."
"Learn what?" Xanthe hisses, his fist smacking the arms of his chair. "I am tired of you, get out of here already. I don't trust you, not after the little stunt you pulled. You're lucky I'm letting you live. You're a good fighter, and will make a good soldier. Focus on that, not on a mudblood who is only dragging you down….You don't feel anything for her, and Remisa only has eyes for me...Isn't that right Remisa?"
I shudder, my eyes widening as the doors swing open suddenly. I hadn't heard him move towards the doors at all. I fall on my face, scrambling to get up, but making sure to avoid eye contact with my master. His eyes were like daggers in my back, his grin twisting my stomach into knots. "Lookie here, we have a little spy~" He coos, picking me up by the back of my shirt, dragging me into the room. "To prove my point, Capris, I'll show you just how obedient Remisa can be…" He plops down into his seat, placing me on his lap gently.
"Remisa, tell Miss Vikaro that you're strictly my servant. Not hers, nor will you ever be hers."
"U-uh….C-Capris, I'm Xanthes servant….Not yours...ever..." I didn't want to start anything, but this seemed to be a terrible idea on Xanthes part. No matter what, it would end badly. Capris just glared at him, her eyes boiling red with rage.
"Remisa, give me a kiss~"
"H-Huh?"
"Now Remisa, don't want to keep Miss Vikaro waiting."
I blushed, quickly leaning in to peck the master's lips. I could hear Capris grinding her teeth, the air suddenly feeling thicker than ever. I was beginning to feel dizzy and my stomach curled into itself.
"You call that a kiss Remisa?" Xanthe purred into my ear. I was starting to feel hazy. It was a strange feeling, like floating on air but at the same time, It was like I was sinking to the bottom of the sea. I tilted my head back, eyes half lidded as I glanced at Capris. I then felt a firm grip tilting my chin, and then lips against my own. Xanthes arms held tight to my small frame, his teeth occasionally running over my bottom lip. His tongue slipping slyly into my mouth, and eagerly exploring. Why couldn't I resist? I hate this, I hate being used like this...but..
Then it hit me, some opposing force, something so strong I was on the verge of throwing up all over Xanthe. That's when I understood the situation. They were both using Chucklevoodoos on me. Well, Xanthe on me, and Capris on Xanthe but it was reflecting back to me. I let out a garbled cry, fingers limply clawing at Xanthe. He pulled away, eyes glowing all differing shades of purple. He smiled sinisterly, holding tighter to me as the pressure in my mind increased. A mix of intense pain and delight filled me. It was confusing and I didn't know how to react or what my body was even doing.
I was soon tossed aside, Capris and Xanthes childish feud turned fist fight as they screamed at each other. This lasted for hours, and I was just left to watch and suffer as they would reflect their anger back at me. I soon fell to slumber, hoping that when I awoke, they would decided to leave me out of this dispute.
