I HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR NOT UPDATING OTHER THAN I WAS LAZY... YOU CAN CALL ME A STINKFACE IF YOU WANT

PETERS POV

I climbed into the bed that David had provided me with. I was on the verge of falling asleep when I heard a knock on my door.

I groaned and walked over to it, rubbing my eyes. I opened it to reveal Caleb standing there, his hair disheveled and bags under his eyes.

"Um hi?" I said.

"Can I come in?" asked Caleb.

I sighed. "Sure, why not."

I stepped out of the doorway and Caleb came into the room, shutting the door behind him.

"So what do you want?" I asked.

"I need to ask you a question," he said.

"Okay then, ask," I said.

"Am I compassionate?" he asked. His eyes pleaded with me to say yes.

"Well, yeah. You helped your sister escape Erudite," I said.

"Yes, but that's because of my morals," he said.

"Okay then. You were Abnegation, right?" I asked. He nodded. "Did you help the Factionless? Did you feel bad for them?"

"Yes. Of course I did. They have nothing," he said.

"Then, you're compassionate," I said. "And hey, look at me. I'm Divergent and I'm not very compassionate."

"I knew it! I knew you that you're Divergent!" said Caleb, smiling triumphantly.

"Okay," I said, rolling my eyes. "But my point is, you're not damaged, whatever that's supposed to mean. So let it go."

"Thanks," he said, smiling.

"Do you have any idea how big this place is? You know, outside, all of it," I asked.

"Not a clue. I wonder what our friends would say if they knew what was out here," he mused.

"I bet my sister would run around looking at everything she could find," I said. "She'd probably break something." I chuckled.

"I think Stella would get really angry at everyone," said Caleb. "She'd probably scare everyone here with her horrifying temper."

"Isobel would get confused and hide for a few days," I said.

"I bet the Dauntless would tie people up and interrogate them on what's happening," said Caleb.

"Erudite would annoy people with all of their questions," I said, smirking.

Caleb yawned. "I think we should sleep."

"Good idea," I said. My eyelids were getting all droopy.

"Thanks for talking to me," said Caleb, standing.

"No problem," I said as I slid under the sheets. I fell asleep as soon as Caleb left.
