A/N: Seven hours and forty-one minutes until the Restoring Force album (OM&M) is released and since I can't wait, I should do something productive and post as many chapters as possible. Oh, I started my new story, Battle of the Bands. I really like it so far and think I'll be updating it a lot too. Read it if you like the post-hardcore genre. Oh, and the past SOTC:
Chapter Seven: A Love Like War by All Time Low feat. Vic Fuentes (of PTV) then, since I was in a PTV mood, the second one was Disasterology by Pierce the Veil, aka my all time favorite song ever.
Chapter Eight: None
Chapter Nine: King For A Day- Pierce the Veil feat. Kellin Quinn (of SWS). I'm always in a PTV mood. Okay? Plus, I also love this song.
Please read my other story! It would mean a lot!
Fly on,

CHAPTER TEN
Max POV:
It was the day of the long-awaited masquerade ball. Haha, not so much long awaited. Nudge and Angel were coming home with me to "beautify" me. I walked into English, surprised to see Nudge and...Fang? It sure enough was. I turned off my iPod and looked over at them. They hadn't seen me yet. Good.
They were whispering and texting back and forth. What was going on? I heard Nudge whispering "she'll love it, Fang." Who will love what? I snuck up behind their huddled backs and whispered right between them "Boo." They both jumped and I cackled. They saw it was me, and their faces turned fearful. They quickly shut off their phones.
"So what are you planning for who?" Their faces turned to amused and they nudged each other. "You'll find out." Fang said. Always one for the dark and silent type. I sat down in my seat.
-Time Skip to after school-
Nudge was walking over to me with a bag. She pulled out makeup. Oh, no. I started to run, but Angel was in my way. "You can do this the easy way or the hard way," Angel said. Let's just say I ended up tied in a chair. Nudge had makeup and started to make me up. Angel had a curling iron and curled my hair before putting it in some fancy "updo" as she called it. After what felt like an eternity, they let me look in the mirror. I gasped in surprise. I didn't look like Max. I looked ... pretty. My hair was curled and in a half-up half-down style and I loved it, which was weird for me, but oh well. My lips were bright red, and my eyes had eyeliner, some "smoky eye" eyeshadow thing (that's what Nudge called it), and mascara, but it wasn't overdone. I liked it. Nudge and Angel were already in their green (Nudge) and purple (Angel) dresses and had their makeup and hair done similar to mine, but Nudge's was straightened. They looked beautiful. I got in my dress and saw we had to be there in half an hour, meaning we had to go. When I walked out and saw Lissa and Brigid standing with Ella in matching short cocktail dresses, layers of makeup, and straightened hair. Who wears a cocktail dress to prom? (The masquerade was their version of prom). We walked past them. Anne was in the kitchen. "Max," she started. "You're not going. I forbid you. I want you to do these chores." I looked at her and felt a sudden surge of power.
"Anne, what gives you the right to be better than me? You can't make me stay here. I'm going." And with that I walked out the door while all of them (them being Brigid, Lissa, Anne, and Ella) gaped at me openmouthed. I was ready now.
A/N: I know it was short, but the next chapter is going to be really long, and you'll find out Fang's plan. How did you like my plot twist? I think it's good, but I wrote it, so... yeah. Anyway, the SOTC! I tried to pick a harder song for this.
Watch the end from dying eyes,
Now the dark is taking over
Show me where forever dies,
Take the fall and run to heaven
All is lost again..
But I'm not giving in!
I will not bow, I will not break,
I will shut the world away
I will not fall, I will not fade,
I will take your breath away
And I'll survive, paranoid,
I have lost the will to change,
And I am not proud, cold blooded, fake
I will shut the world away
I guess you could say I saw them live... does it count if my mom was pregnant with me the third time she saw them in concert? Yeah, I have amazing parents who like my music. My mom moshed when she was at the concert. That's probably where I got my love for moshing. Now, I must finish listening to Jersey my Mayday Parade (I LOVE IT SO MUCH)!
Bye!
