Wow, new chapter was up fast! ENJOY!

I don't own HP, LotR, or the new character's fandom who will be here in the next couple of chapters.

This is NOT going to be extremely cannon. I have tried to stick to the quotes as much as I could, but some scenes are just irrevocably changed with this plotline. Sorry to those who might not be overjoyed by this. Since there is a bit more actual Elvish (Mostly Sindarin) translations I will put the English words after the Elvish. Again, apologies if it is not all correct.

I am going to try to start posting this because writing both names isn't having the best flow. If you need to look up a name for a character then it's all right here.

Harry: Ionwe
Sirius: Barathon
Remus: Lainadan
Fred and George: Nithron and Imrathion (Respectively)
Draco: Mornenion

The lady Galadriel's eyes blazed over us as Haldir's had done. Again they landed on Frodo and stilled a moment. She met Boromir's gaze as well. The Man seemed to freeze. Eventually she looked at me. I saw so much in her eyes. I saw time, past, present and future encompassed within them.

"El sila erin lu e-govaned vin, Elarinya. Le nathlam hi." (A star shines on the hour of our meeting, Morning Star. You are welcome here.) Her head bowed slightly.

"La fael, Galadriel of Lorien. Mae l'ovannen" (I am glad, Galadriel of Lothlorien. You are well met.)

"Mae l'ovannen, Legolas Thranduilion." Well met, Legolas, son of Thranduil.)

"Welcome to Lothlorien, all of you." She spoke in the common tongue.

"The enemy knows you are here. Any hope in secrecy you one held is now gone." Lord Celebron asked of Gandalf. I felt my eyes fill again. Lady Galadriel gasped as her sight showed her what my voice would not say.

"He has fallen into shadow." She said airily.

"He was taken by both shadow and flame. A balrog, because we fell needlessly into the net of Moria." His arm tightened on my side.

"Needless were none of the deeds of Gandalf in life. We do not yet know his whole purpose." She turned. "Do not let the emptiness of Khazad-dum fill your heart, Gimli, son of Gloin, for the world is now full of peril. And in all lands love, is now mingled with grief." Gimli let tears fall down his cheek. She continued to both warn yet comfort. I sensed Frodo heard more than we did. "Go now and rest, for you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight, you will sleep."

Legolas and I stood together, listening to the Evles' song.

"A lament for Gandalf." Legolas said softly.

"What do they say about him?" Asked Merry.

"I have not the heart to tell you, for me the grief is still too near."

"Bet they don't mention his fireworks." I smiled at the tales of fireworks that would please even the Weasley twins. Sam said some small verse. As he finished he sat, saying it would never do.

"It is nice, Sam. It is from the heart, like the song, and so it is equal in beauty." His face lit at my words.

"Is there nothing you cannot do?" Mornenion asked.

"What do you mean?"

"School, now, no matter the challenge, you have always faced it. Even here, in the heart of our grief you have made us smile with only your words. Is there nothing you cannot do?"

"I have never been good at Quidditch or flying. That is one thing you will always have over me, Mornenion."

"And your little brother the Boy who Lived always beat me. I swear the two of you are invincible."

"You were my greatest competitor on the pitch Draco." Ionwe said.

"And yet I never beat you. The only game I remember you losing was against Diggory and that was because of the dementors."

"Demenotor? What's a demenotor?" Gimli asked.

"Dememntor, not demenotor. They resemble the nine, except there were many more. Thousands." He shuddered.

"Diggory was one of the greatest friends, although our history was brief before he died." Ionwe sighed. I patted his shoulder, leaning down to whisper in his ear.

"I know the depth of your bond with him. I know it hurts. Don't close yourself off from love again, my friend." Yes. He had loved Cedric. Almost no one knew of course, that Harry was interested in both men and women. Actually, I think Cedric was the only man Harry had let himself love in some time. Ginny was a failed attempt to feel normal. Ionwe didn't respond. I returned to my place by Legolas.

Aragorn PoV

As Taurauthiel spoke among the others I saw Boromir a distance apart. He was sitting with his head in his hands and his shoulders taught. I joined him.

"Hey, get some rest. These borders are well protected."

"I will find no rest here. I heard her voice inside my head. She spoke of my father and the fall of Gondor. She says there is still hope left, but I cannot see it." He looked at me and I saw the desperation in his face. "My father is a noble man but his throne is failing and our people lose faith he looks to me to make things right and I will do it. I will see the glory of Gondor restored. Have you ever seen it Aragorn?" I looked at him. "The white tower of Ecthelion , glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, its banner caught high in the morning breeze; have you ever been called home by the calling of silver trumpets?" I nodded.

"I have seen the white city long ago." It was many years past. I was shown the land that was my birthright to lead.

"One day our paths will lead us there and the tower guard shall take up the call that the lords of Gondor have returned." Something in his tone made me want to see it. Our attentions was dawn by Taurauthiel smiling with Merry, Pipin, and her friend Ionwe.

"She is really something, is she not?" I asked.

"I've never seen a woman like her. She is one of a kind."

"I was raised in Rivendell and I would hear stories of her. Taurauthiel Elarinya, the Morning Star of the Elves. She was so young when she was taken, but already she was known. When she was spoken of it was all the same. They talked of a beautiful young girl with dark hair and shimmering eyes. She had hardly a harsh word for anyone, but if you were Elrohir or Elladan then she was a new surprise every day." The joy in Arwen's eyes when her sister was home was a light in my heart.

"Elrohir and Elladan?"

"Taurauthiel and her sister's older brother's. They were identical twins and they are a joy."

"Legolas seems very protective of her." I smirked.

"He has known her since they were infants. It was long before my time but I have heard much."

"Are they as siblings?"

"I think it started out that way. It seems to be growing. But I promise you, you will not find a man in this world who is more defensive of her than he."

"I wonder. That one man, Ionwe. I have seen her memories and he shares the need for her safety. I can, however, guarantee that his is only platonic."

"Taurauthiel was a sore subject in her absence so she was not often the topic of conversation, but whenever she was her name was next to Legolas'. It will be interesting to watch them."

LPOV
Everyone had lain down in the tent a while ago. I sat just inside and listened to the singing and the sounds of my friend's gentle snores. A few minutes later I heard the telltale sounds of her nightmares. She was writhing in the covers when I reached her.

"Don't... leave us Albus! We need you! Harry needs you." She whimpered.

"Shh, Taurauthiel, I'm right here. Breathe, I'm here. You're safe." Her breathing calmed and she fell into a more peaceful rest once more.

"How is she?" I looked up. Barathon stood a short distance away.

"She is getting better. It is one reason I remain so close. I have had to help her a few times with her nightly terror."

"Our Hermione, always hiding her weakness. Come with me for a moment, Legolas." I hesitated. "She'll be fine. You'll know if she needs you." I followed him reluctantly. Lainadan awaited us outside the tent.

"Is there something we must discuss?"

"Yes. Taurauthiel."

"What about her?"

"What are your intentions towards her?" I stuttered uncharacteristically for a moment.

"Don't deny it. We can see how you feel about her from a mile away. Admit it, even if it's only to yourself. I just want to say one thing. If you ever hurt her then you will have more than the Enemy to fear. And you will wish he was your only foe." Barathon's gaze was unwavering. "That girl saved my life and the life of my pup in there many times. We all love her." I still hadn't responded. I tried to change the subject.

"Why do you all him pup?"

"Nice try. But, I have the ability to transform into a dog, and he's my godson, so I call him pup." I nodded. "Now, back to our friend. I know your feelings for her are growing. Be careful. She guards her heart well in times of war."

"She thinks she must protect her mission above all. It's been ingrained in her for years. There are times when she will hide it from even those closest to her." Lainadan said.

"There are only a handful of reasons we're not warning you away from her completely."

"The first and foremost being that she is a grown woman and has always been capable of making her own decisions. We also have seen how she trusts you. There only a couple of people she has let in when she needs to let her emotions out. One, I know she has no romantic interest in. Bu you have hope. I see it in your eyes. You desire her happiness, her safety. Don't hurt her." With that they left me to my thoughts. I heard Taurauthiel begin to shake in her sleep again.

"Legolas, don't leave me. Please, don't go!" She whispered. I looked closely. She was still asleep.

"I'm here. I'm not leaving. I promise." I brushed aside a piece of her hair, surprised when her hand shot out to grip mine. When she didn't let go I let her pull me down beside her. If it made her more comfortable then who was I to argue. I was privileged to be close to this beautiful person.

I DO NOT WANT FLAMES AFTER MENTIONING Harry's love interests. It is part of the plot I assure you! If you have a problem with this then there are plenty of other fanfictions for you to read. It is a side ship that will be mentioned very soon. Okay, equality rant over. Hope you enjoyed it, Hermiolas is heating up! Big reveal on them soon. Laters!
