Annie launched herself around the corner at the gunman while Hena sprinted for the door. She caught him off guard and he dropped the gun.

He recovered quickly though and punched her in the face connecting with both her lip and left eye. Great more blood.

She hit the floor with the force of the punch and the lack of balance she had. She then swung her legs at her attacker and knocked him off his feet and noted that Hena was out at the door closed behind her form. Good. One problem done one to go.

She reached for the gun as the man tackled her. She let out a cry as his weight fell on her injuries. He struggled for the gun with her but they knocked it across the floor out of both their reach.

She turned and slugged him in the face and finagled herself out of his grasp. She then tried to get around him to the door and he grabbed her ankle. She fell face first, surely breaking her nose.

As blood poured down her face she saw her opponent reach for a knife. She looked for anything she could use as a weapon. The only thing in the hallway was a fire extinguisher. That will have to do.

She lunged for the fire extinguisher and swung but wasn't quite fast enough as her attacker slashed a gash down her cheek and then her left arm as he fell to the ground unconscious.

Annie stood in shock for a moment then moved towards the door as she heard movement further down the hallway.

All of her injuries started to set in as she moved out of the building and toward the green car she saw running a short distance away. She slid into the driver's seat just as the door she had exited through opened once again.

"Keep your head down" Annie ground out as she put the car in reverse and then tore out of the parking lot, gunshots pinging off the vehicle.
