Chapter 10 Helping one another

Everybody gasped when lights went out. They all kept hearing strange noises around them when suddenly, everything became still. It wasn't the calm kind of still either. It was the like the calm before the storm. After a few minutes when it didn't seem as spooky as before they all took a deep breath and tried to calm their nerves.

"Kono, did you bring the scrapbook?" asked Danny.

Kono nodded and set it down on the floor next to where they were sitting. Danny looked at it and turned his attention to Steve.

"Are you okay?" asks Danny, who is a little worried for his friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine Danno. I just got some sore spots on my back and neck where I hit the wall."

Danny nodded. "What happened when you touched the door?"

Steve looked at Danny and sighed. "I don't know, at first nothing happened. Then out of nowhere, I'm flying into the wall. It felt like something was pulling me into the wall. It felt strange."

Steve looked at Chin. "Are you ready to try the meditation technique that I talked about earlier?"

"Yeah, I think so," he replied, feeling just a little bit uneasy.

"Okay, let's get you a chair that is facing me."

Danny looks around for a chair and spots one. He got up, went over to it, grabbed it and put it near the couch in front of Steve. Danny knew that Steve needed peace and quiet, so he motioned to Kono to follow him. Kono got up, grabbed the book and left before Steve began.

Steve looked at Chin, who was now sitting on the chair opposite of Steve, and said, "Okay, Chin for this to work you need to relax."

Chin takes a couple of deep breaths and calms down enough to at least begin.

"Okay, I am going to ask you a question and then we will begin. Okay?"

Chin nodded.

"Okay, now what was the last thing you remember before being kidnapped?

Chin sighed trying to calm his nerves, "Um, well I remember feeling like someone or something was watching me. I then saw a shadow, walked toward it and got sucked into something. Everything is a blur after that."

"Okay, then we will work with what we got, then."

Chin nodded.

"Okay, let's begin. First what I need you to do is think back on what you were doing right before you went missing."

Chin nodded and tried to think about what he was doing the day he went missing. He closed his eyes so he could concentrate.

"Um, well Kono and I just found some pictures of this house when you guys came in. We all joined together and I had this nagging felling that someone or someone was watching me."

"Okay, that's good, now I want you to look at whatever it is and describe what you see."

Chin sighed. He thought hard and did as Steve said and saw a wisp of something and he gasped. "I see a wisp of a cloud floating around a doorway."

"Okay, What does this wisp look like?"

"I don't know, it disappears before I can even look at it."

"Try to think, what did the wisp of a cloud look like?"

Chin sighed and tried to think about what the wisp looked like. "Um, it looked like a...little person. Like a kid or something."

"Good, that's good. Okay, now go to the part where you get sucked into nothing. What do you see?"

Chin noticed that he was calm and he could see images in his head. He wasn't able to do that before.

"I'm in a room of some sort and it looks different."

Steve looks at Chin confused. "How is the room different?"

"The room looks like it was from the fifties. It had an old-fashioned bed and dressers along with a desk."

"Did anything weird happen when you were in the room?"

"Not that I know of. Everything is sort of a blur after that until I wake up and I am in the same room as before but the room looks like it's from this century."

"So anything else that you remember before stumbling towards us?"

Chin tries hard to remember something else but can't. "No, I'm sorry, I can't. It feels like I got more to remember but I just can't recall it right now."

Steve sighed, knowing that Chin was telling the truth. "Okay, you can open your eyes now and let's see if we can find out where Danny and Kono went."

Chin nodded.

Meanwhile with Kono and Danny.

"So what do you think Chin will remember?" asked Kono, after they were a safe distance away for the other two.

"I don't know, but it might be helpful."

Kono nodded and looked for something to do. Danny noticed this and realized that the book with all the newspaper clippings were in the same room as them and he grabbed it and called Kono over. They both looked at it and read some stories from it and started to organize it by date, year and month. That took a good twenty minuets and what they didn't realize is that someone was watching them. The person that was watching them tried to send messages to them and tried to contact the one guy that had black hair when it tried to take him. The person disappeared before the people saw her and hid in the house for another time.

Danny had a feeling that they were being watched and the hair on his neck stood straight up and he got the goosebumps. He shivered and Kono noticed this.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"I don't know, but I don't think we're alone in this house."

"What makes you say that?"

"Well, for starters, the hair on the back of my neck are standing straight up and I just got the goosebumps. There is more to the house than we originally thought."

Suddenly they both heard a shout that came from the other room.

"Guys, get in here, you are never going to believe this!"

Kono and Danny ran to the other room and dropped their mouths in shock at what they saw.

A/N: Okay, there is only one reference in here and here is a clue. You have to think about it, to figure it out. There that is the clue. Okay, so I heard that the government is wanting to take Fanfiction off the web and I was wondering if any of you have heard anything about it? I hope that they don't take it down.
