"Say what?!" Sting yelled for the second time at what Lucy announced. "Now go ask your master if he permits you?" Lucy said as she walked out the door as the two mafiaso followed her. "Hey-" "Not here, they are both dragon slayers they can still here us" Lucy explain cutting off Luke. They walked silently to a place where they were sure none could her. Lucy halted, and looked around making sure no one was around in this elegant garden. "Are you sure they will be able to handle it?" Luke asked as they sat down on the empty stall. "Lucy... You, yourself knows the difference of the strength between wizards and Mafia." Ayane said slightly concerned.

"I believe in them and their strength. They have been through a lot more than normal wizards. Especially Fairy Tail." She said as she looked down the table her arm was resting on. "What do you mean?" Luke asked in his usual mean tone. "Fairy Tail, Fiore's number one guild last seven years and on this day. Fairy Tail's main wizards were stuck on the island Tenroujima for seven years. Due to certain circumstances. Their title flunked from highest to lowest and Sabertooth took their place. The dragon duo was rumored to have killed their own dragons. And not just that, they are the third generation dragons which are the known to be strongest types of dragon slayers. When the main wizards of Fairy Tail came back they owned the tournament and took back their title." Lucy narrated as sadness was vivid on her eyes.

Her two companions did not understand on why she looked so sad by just telling them this. On Lucy's mind flashes of memories on how Team Natsu cared for her run through her mind. She snapped out of her thoughts when she saw the worried look on her friends' faces. She then gave them her genuine forced smile and told them it's nothing and she's okay. But the two did not buy it this time. They both interrogated Lucy to spit out everything and knowing them she had no choice but to spit it out.

Lucy told them what happened to her team. She never once looked at their eyes because if she did tears would certainly overflow from it. After telling both of them she was attacked by a hug from Ayane. "Don't worry we're here now." Ayane said. "I will never let them hurt you again." Luke said as he ruffle her golden hair to his face. Lucy was both surprised and happy to what both her friends just said that she couldn't react. She let out a hiccup and burst into tears.

Unknown to them that danger awaits them just hiding in the shadows.

"Yo!" Sting yelled banging the door wide open making the three making the three jump into their fighting mode. Lucy holding her belt which where her keys were dangling. Ayane had both her hands in the air and Luke jumped above the nearby tree holding his favorite shot gun. "What the it's just you..." Luke said with an annoyed tone. "Why are you so cautious?" Sting asked dumbly. "We're external advisers of a mafia family." Ayane as if it was the most common thing on earth as she swung her arms back to her side. "It's not like they could just kill you in broad daylight." Rouge said nonchalantly. "No, actually they can, esp-" "Look out!" Luke yelled cutting off Lucy as she leap up in the air avoiding the flame in just a millimeter.

"What the-" Sting said as he examined the place where the fire landed. "Who do you think was it?" Ayane asked. "How should I know?" Luke answered. "Th- The... mist flame just now was coated with lightning magic." Lucy announced making Ayane and Luke look up to her. "What?" he asked. "But the- there is only one person who could be a lightning mage and mafia. Don't tell me he- he's still..." Ayane let out a scream of agony, as if she was being tortured. Luke's face gone pale and Lucy had a really worried look on her face.

"Hey, what's going on?" Sting asked seriously noticing the strange atmosphere. Sting was left unanswered because Luke comforted the crying Ayane and Lucy remained frozen with her worried face. This act made Sting angry so... "Ahhhh!" Sting yelled hurting his own ear drums.

"What the hell?" Lucy snapped caressing her throbbing ears. "You wouldn't answer me." He said with a 'hmph!' This made the mood light up. Ayane, after giggling a bit, came back to her nonchalant expression. "So do you know who were up with? We already called master and he gave an 'okay'" Rouge spoke. The three exchanged looks as if they were talking to each other Lucy nodded before saying."Actually there is a big chance that our opponent would be much stronger then any other." Lucy explained. "But we won't tell you two." Luke said. "-yet." Ayane added. "We will tell you when Natsu and the others are here." Lucy said.

"Will you be okay?" Sting asked. "Huh?" Lucy said, confused. "I mean, you would be with the salamander so..." Sting trailed off not knowing what to say. Lucy smiled at him saying 'Don't worry I'll be fine'. "Okay, so we're leaving tomorrow morning, 6:00 sharp." Luke said as they bid good bye to the flowers in the garden they were currently at. Lucy had this weird feeling in her stomach making her unsettle and having nightmares that night didn't help.

'I hope it isn't them' Lucy thought as she awaken from her slumber. She weakly made her way towards their meeting are which was the same garden. All of them hate waking up early except Ayane who still wore her iron mask even though it's still fucking six in the morning. They rode a carriage making the dragon duo sick while Luke and Lucy fell asleep.

"Hey" Ayane said as she looked at the pitiful sight the two are in. "Wh-what?" Sting asked weakly as he turns green again. Ayane then raised her right hand and casted a spell. They notice the words were the same as Lucy's. "How did you?" "We used to travel a lot with a dragon slayer, though I doubt Lucy remembers it." She said nonchalantly. "Thank you. And what kind of dragon slayer did you travel with?" Rouge asked in a flat tone. "The 2nd Generation Water Dragon Slayer, Freya." She answered eyeing her two sleeping companions.

They talk about everything and got to know each other, half-way Lucy woke up and joined the conversation. But despite them bonding the two Sabertooth Mages were not able to break Ayane's mask. The two were feeling frustrated because that was actually one of their intentions. On the inside Ayane was feeling the same, her goal though was to break Rouge's. 'Heh. you have to do better than that to break my Ayane's poker face.' Luke thought as he closed his right eye and went back to sleep.

"We're here." The man driving said. Ayane wake Luke and Lucy as the two grouchily stood up hitting their head at the process. "Oww.." Lucy groaned as Luke was murmuring that he wanted to sleep more. They paid the driver and directly went to a familiar building. "Wow, I haven't been here for a month or so." Lucy said eyeing her 70,000 J apartment. "This is where you live? Why is it so... small?" Ayane said in disbelief. "Hey, I didn't bring money when I left remember?" Lucy said slightly annoyed. "By the way where's Sting and Rouge.

~Sting and Rouge~

"Sting you really shouldn't be barging into someone's window." Rouge said as he face-palmed. "It's fine she's down there anyway." Sting tutted as he went through a bunch of papers. "What's this a story?" He asked as he flipped through the pages. "Nah, I'm not interested in stories." He said as he place it back not bothering to arrange it in order. "Ooh, what's this?" Sting said excitedly as he held up one of Lucy's sexy underwear. Rouge blushed and stomped his way to Sting and grabbed the underwear and putting it back again. "Do not touch anything!" He yelled losing his composure. Sting eyed him and place both his arms at his back. "It's not like your his father." He pouted. "Is this her bathroom?" He said exploring the house "Gack! *crash!*"

~Back to Lucy and the others~

"Gack! *Crush*" Lucy twitched hearing this. 'Why does this sound so familiar?' She thought as she shot open the door and with burning eyes, made her to her room. She then saw Sting's leg coming out from the bathroom. Curious, she peeked at him only to see him holding his forehead which was slightly red. "Why the hell is your bathroom wet when you said you haven't use it?" He yelled. "How should I know maybe-" She was cut off, lost in thought and again sadness resurface in her eyes. There was a pregnant silence before Lucy said she'll go buy dinner for tonight and Sting and Rouge tagged along to.

"You're still scared aren't you?" Sting said quite seriously. "I'm not scared of them I scared of being... rejected by them." Lucy answered. "..." Rouge didn't say anything but was stealing glances at the blonde once in a while, Rouge inhaled deeply before saying "I'm sure they won't do that they're your nakama remember?" What he said made Lucy smile. "Thanks Rouge." She said smiling. Rouge, seeing her smiled, couldn't help but ruffle her hair. She really didn't expect him to be so... I don't know supportive? sweet? Lucy mind was in a mess because of what Rouge did and unknowingly a blush creep up to her face.

~Flashback on Team Natsu's first Mission with Lisanna~

Natsu was breathing heavily as his opponent charged to him. "Argh..." he said clutching his arm which was heavily injured by the griffin. "Natsu!" "Lisanna leave him, can take care of himself! Now go find those freaking clovers." Gray ordered Lisanna. As he focused his eyes back to the griffin he's fighting. "Ice make lance!" He yelled as multiple of ice spears launch to his opponent, but all his effort was in waste for it had no effect on the griffin. Their mission was supposed to be an easy one. They just have to find an important clover for the client. But sure as hell didn't know that the mountain was the mating place of the griffins and just their luck it was mating season.

'No... Natsu's injured..' Lisanna thought as her face wore a horrified look 'Am I going to lose him again? No, last time he lost me.. So this time I'll do something about it!' she said with determination as she rose up from the fields where she was not-really finding the clover because she had her eyes on Natsu the whole time. She ran to Natsu who was standing up not giving in to defeat. "Animal soul: Bird!" She yelled as she fought the griffin but of course it was way to strong for her and she threw away by the air produce of the flapping of it's strong wings. "Lisanna!" The three yelled in unison they ran towards the sleeping maiden. "Good, her heartbeat's stable. Lu-" Erza was cut off remembering that Lucy wasn't a part of Team Natsu anymore. 'Damn we should have just added Lisanna if we knew this was going to happened...' Erza thought as she tend her wounds.

"Lu-?" The griffin thought out loud. "By 'Lu' who are you referring to?" The one that was fighting with Natsu who was actually the strongest talked. They talked?! The three of them thought in unison as their jaws dropped and eyes widen. "We don't have to tell you." Gray said. "Well you really don't have to but I know a person who's first syllable is Lu, she was such a sweet girl and the one was able save me from a griffin slayer. Even though I was the opponent of her friend, the griffin slayer, she stopped her friend from ending my life and even tend my wounds. Most of us sees her as our hero we even made contract with the griffin slayer that we will be at her side if ever she's in a pinch and will never hurt any of her friends." The griffin said smiling (if griffins can smile) at the memory.

'Sure does sound like Lucy to me...' They all thought. 'But who could this griffin slayer be?' Erza added. "Now if this 'Lu' you has the same name as my friend then I will stop attacking and let you find that important clover." The griffin said flapping his majestic wings. "We don't need that we can defeat you ourselves!" Natsu stubbornly yelled. "Looking at your situation we can easily kill sleeping beauty there." One of them snickered. Natsu clenched his fist not knowing what to do, whether to protect Lisanna and let Erza and Gray do the job or to burn the griffin to crisps and leave Lisanna. "Fine, her name's Lucy Heartfilla is that her?" Natsu said as most griffin froze.

'I didn't expect it to be actually her...' I, the griffin, thought as he landed on the ground. "Are you sure it's Lucy Heartfilla?" I said seriously as I eyed the pinkette. "Uh-huh." he nodded. "Okay then go find that clover and leave." I said as I went to another mountain. "I didn't actually think it's her." Gray thought out loud. "Me too.." Erza said lost in thought just then Lisanna started to wake up. "Ow..." she said clutching her right shoulder that had most impact when she was threw back. "Lisanna are you okay?" Natsu asked, worried. "Why did you attack the griffin didn't I tell you to find the clover?!" Gray yelled, angry at Lisanna who didn't follow his orders when they had a hard time already.

"I'... I'm sorry.. it's just that I... I" She apologized between sobs. "Ahhh... seriously if Lucy hadn't save us you, we could've been killed." Gray said as Natsu was saying 'Cut it out already! Look, she's crying.' in the background. 'What do you mean Lucy?' Lisanna thought

After finding the clover, they collected the reward and went home. and until this day, Gray was still wondering on who on earth is this griffin slayer, why was she with Lucy, how does she knows Lucy? So many unanswered questions ran through his mind. Question only one person knows the answer.

~End Of Flashback~

Lucy and the dragon duo went to the market and bought the ingredients for tonight. Sting was annoying as hell according to Lucy while Rouge carried most of the purchases. Sting was asking Lucy something while Lucy was getting annoyed for some reason.

"Lucy?"

His voice itself made her flinch. She turn around to see him. His hair spiky pink colored hair remained. He was still wearing his casual outfit. But why does Lucy feels so scared when he just called out her name, he as in Natsu Dragneel.

Sorry about before again! I have to tell you, I think I may be able to update this week or so. Oh does any of you guys love romance? Because I just released my first Wattpad story it's genre is romance, school life, friendship, comedy (kinda), mystery (I think), and drama. It's called 'All-Star 5' by TheJawsome a.k.a me!
