It was nice, sitting there laughing and talking for what seemed hours. Draco finally got up and smiled helping me up on my feet as well. We stood by the window and looked down at the school grounds. "Well its late and I better be off….Before Tanor says something stupid to the wrong people…" We both chuckled I smiled at him. "Alright, I'll see you around…" "You will….Bye" "Bye…" With a one last smile her turned and walked down the stairs, leaving me alone in the tower. It had gotten late, I should be heading back. It was nice, spending time with Draco like that. And I was more than happy that we had made up, it was a stupid fight anyways. Looking down at my wrist, where the ribbon was. Running my fingers over it I smiled. He had actually saved it. It still surprised me, than again he is a different person away from everything and everyone. Looking into the sky I noticed that had already gotten dark, and possibly already past the curfew. My eyes landed on the full moon and my heart filled with worry, Remus. He always has it rough the day before and day of the full moon. It was no easier after. A sigh escaped me and I Left the tower and made my way to the Gryffindor house. Today had been exhausting and mentally straining, sleep was a more than welcome thought.
Waking up the next morning I yawned and stretched. Dressing myself for the day I walked down to the common room and smiled at Harry. "Good morning," "morning….we need to talk…"
Was all I got out of him before he dragged me off. We were walking down an empty hallway and he finally spoke up. "Last night….I…we ran into Sirius black, which turned out wasn't the true traitor. But it was Peter Pettigrew" I turned to him the name sounding familiar. "So my mom was right…." Harry looked at me blinking a few times. "So you know more than you let on…" I nodded, "Well Remus thought with Sirius having escaped Azkaban, I shouldn't let people know that I know stuff if that makes sense…my mom always believed him innocent…they're friends….i think she knew your Dad too.." Harry smiled and nodded. "Yeah, he is innocent…..but Pettigrew got away…and Remus he…transformed..." I looked up at him with panic. "He didn't bite anyone has he…?" "You knew..." I nodded and looked away worried about Remus. "I guess that figures he is your godfather….well he only scratched professor Snape before running off. I looked at Harry even more worried now. "That's not good….not good at all..." I was worried about Remus and if he could keep his job, and then I was worried about the potions professor. "We saved buckbeak…..and Sirius, he escaped on the hippogriff he said he would write me once he settles and is safe…and I mastered the Patronous charm" he smiled at me and I gently shoved him we both laughed. "That's great…well I'm glad you are safe…that everyone is safe…" "Well I'm off to visit Ron in the hospital wing…Sirius bit his leg in his dog form…" I smiled as we parted ways. My feet automatically carried me to the dungeons. I knew Remus was probably still out, so I couldn't check on him yet. Knocking on the office door that I had become all so familiar with. Entering I saw the Potion master who looked up at me before turning back to his work.
Walking up to the desk I sat down on the chair right in front of it and just looked at the man for a moment. "Are you okay Professor?" His movements stopped and he put his quill down before looking up. "I'm fine…how much do you know of what happened last night?" I looked at him before looking down picking at my fingers. "Well it was full moon….I know I my godfathers condition. Harry told me most of what happened…Black, Pettigrew and that Remus scratched you shielding the three. "I looked at him not sure what else he would want to know. Looking me over before nodding and turning back to his work. "Remus didn't mean it….he has appreciated everything you have done for him…I...He doesn't like hurting people…" The potion Master looked up once more. "I don't mean to speak for him…but he isn't like that….I know…" "Miss Celestral I am in no means upset with your godfather, he had no control….How are you and mister Malfoy?" I looked at him blinking a few times. Switching the subject seemed to be a good option at the moment. "We have talked things out…." "Yes, young mister Pretchet said so….before making other inquiries of what the two of you were doing up on the astronomy tower" My mouth dropped open, 'what did he just say'. "I….what…what inquiries?" He looked at me and I pretty much already knew. "Inquiries that involved the two of you using your mouths for something other than talking." "That idiot…how could he….oh…..merlin's beard….he is so stupid…" A chuckle rose from the Professor and I looked up my cheeks turning a dark red. I never even thought of Malfoy like that, or kissing him. I shook my head not wanting to start thinking it now we just fixed our friendship. "I'm sure Draco has already dealt with him, but be prepared the rumors may have already spread too far." "Thank you professor…I should go…and see the damage done…and check on Remus..." I got up and walked to the door and smiled. "Good bye Professor…" with that I left the dungeons only to run into a group of slytherin girls who sneered at me. And I silently cursed this wasn't good.
After what seemed of hours of running around I realized just how much the rumor had spread. It was like a wild fire burning down the forest. It got to the point where when passing a group of third years the all looked at me before turning away and whispering. I passed by Seamus and Neville who had the school newspaper. I snatched it out of Neville's hand and frowned as it mentioned the rumor. "Inter house romance. Malfoy and Celestral more than friends?" I crumpled up the paper and threw it away. This was becoming madness so deep in though I almost ran into the person in front of me. "Raven?" I looked up to see Harry. "Have you seen the Pretchet Twins?" "The courtyard…..by the greenhouses" "Thank you…" With that I ran off determined to make Tanor pay for what he said. In my mind I went over all the different things I could do to the boy, without getting expelled from school. Reaching the door I walked out into the courtyard. Looking at my target from a distance my mind raced until a voice tore me from my thoughts. I turned and looked up to see Draco sanding with his arms crossed leaning against the wall. "Pardon?" I muttered lightly taken back I didn't expect to see Draco, than again why wouldn't he be here. "I said it took you long enough to show up" He repeated rolling his eyes, clearly annoyed. I was going to say something but then I remembered he probably wasn't happy about this whole situation. I could only imagine the way Parkinson had to be acting. "You better slap him a few times for this. Your slaps sting quite a bit." He touch the cheek I had slapped in our fight before giving me a grin. A gave him a grin and patted his cheek gently. "Don't you worry he'll have it so much worse than you did..." He raised his brow before smiling. "Than what are we waiting for?"
We both walked out onto the courtyard looking for our target. I smiled when I saw that he was with his brother, Nott and Zabini. And luckily he had his back facing us, we both slowly approached and we received a knowing look from Taylor who remained silent about our approach. I could always count on the older twin to have my back when his brother has done something stupid. Now standing behind him Taylor smiled and cleared his throat. "Brother, you should turn around..." And he did, the look on his face was priceless once he fully turned around. It simply made my day that much better. Before he could open his mouth to say something stupid, my hand struck his left cheek as quickly and as hard as I had struck Draco. And that's when Tanor seemed to realize that he may have gone too far. With a quick move he moved past me, but not quick enough to escape Draco who had his wand ready. "Locomotor Mortis!" A well-aimed spell made Tanor stand still unable to move. "Come on Draco…it slipped out…plus it should keep Parkinson off you…plus I mean look at Raven she is probably one the prettiest girls of our year...you said she was pretty yourself…Taylor help me" His brother only shook his head and returned to reading his book. "Not this time you dug this hole yourself …I tried to warn you…" Zabini who was chuckling walked up next to Draco and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Nice aim." I walked up to Tanor until is stood in front of him. "Better hurry the spell will wear of any second now" Draco said and smiled at me. Smiling back at him I turned to look at Tanor. "You are one of my best friends…like a brother to be more exact, but that doesn't mean you can pull this nonsense…you should know better" I smiled at him and patted his cheek earning a worried and smile from him. He knew something else was coming and right he was. Taking a step back I noted the spell wore of distracting Tanor long enough for me to go through with it. I pulled my leg back and with all my force kicked forward right between his legs, earning a cry from him. Pulling my leg away I smiled as he went down on his knees whimpering. "Don't spread rumors again, okay. Okay" Turning away I smiled at Draco who looked at Tanor with a grimace before turning to me. "I'm glad you didn't do that to me…" I laughed lightly before shaking my head. "I'll see you in class…" He nodded and smiled before laughing at the young twin who was curled up in a ball.
