I am once again running through the hallways of Phantom Lord. A few minutes ago the standing transformer guild hall went back to its original form... Much to my annoyance.
Looking through a window I saw Mira Elfman Natsu Gray Lucy and Erza heading back to Fairy Tail over the sea, using there magic to get across the water.
'Is it already over?' I thought. I heard some commotion up ahead so I went to check it out.
Rounding the corner I was standing behind a creepy looking man, and Makarov in his giant form was facing the man I am currently behind.
"Fairy.. Law!" I heard Makarov speak.
'A spell? Does he know im standing here?' I was about to retreat to saftey but I was too late.. A huge circle formed in the sky, shooting a gold magic beam right into Jose... Killing him.
Unfortunantly I got hit with the aftershock of the attack from standing so close.
I went flying through the Phantom Lord guild walls and crashed into the platue right under Fairy Tail
it all happened in a instant, the blowback was immense.
Ive never felt such pain... It was worse than Jupiter! I started falling to the sea, however I never fell into the water, I felt something grab my shirt and pull me up to the now destroyed Fairy Tail guild hall.
I was unable to speak or move, someone turned me around so I wasnt face first on the ground.
Looking up to the sky, my ears where ringing, I felt chilled to the bone.
'What did Masters attack do to me? Its no wonder Hose died from getting hit with it.
"Yo wake up Harrison!" I heard Loki say.
"Whats wrong speak!" Erza said shaking me obnoxiously.
'I dont think thats what he needs right now..' Lucy thought as she watched me being comically shaken by Erza.
Mira walked over and pulled Erza away.
"What are you doing? You need to be gentle. Gray if you will." Mira reprimanded Erza.
Gray wrapped Mira's hand in Ice, Mira then brought it to my cheek, I flinched from the cold touch and moved my cheek away, opening my eyes I immediatly shut them from the sun blinding me.
This time squinting l, I saw Mira and Gray above me, I could tell Mira was talking but I couldnt hear her very well. My conciousness started to fade again as my eyes rolled in the back of my head, and then it was dark.
-Time skip-
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, a very pleasant thing to wake me up for a change, instead of my usual annoying alarm clock.
Turning my head I noticed I was in a tent, it was also very hot. My vision finally cleared so I could see smaller details, after taking in my surroundings I concluded I was in a medical tent?
'Thats right.. I got hit with Masters attack, well part of it... And what is up with this headache!?' I thought.
Just then Reedus walked in, the tent barely accommodating his round body.
"O-oh! Your awake. lemme get Master!" He said in relief.
A few minutes later Makarov came bursting through the tent flaps, jumping on the chair next to my bed I was suprised at his next actions.
Makarov got on one knee and bowed.
"My boy, I am truly sorry... I had no idea you where behind Hose when I used that sacrid spell... I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me." Master apologized still on his knee.
"W-what? Of course! It was my fault for being there, I should have followed the others when I saw them heading back... I dont have magic so you couldnt feel my presence anyway." I accepted his apology feverently not wanting to see someone I respected very much in such a position.
"Makorov looked at me with pride, thank you for understanding.. I will make sure you recover as fast as possible so you can get back to your training!" Master said positively.
"Haha! Its no big dea- Uhhg" I interrupted my own scentened when I collapsed to the ground trying to get to my feet just seconds ago.
Makarov caught me with his enlarged hand and set me back on the bed. "Now I think its smart to play it safe. Get some rest Harrison... Im sure the others eavesdropping are really excited to see you." Makarov said the last part a bit louder with humor in his voice.
We could hear Natsu curse under his breath. Me and Makarov sweat drop from his innability to do anything quiet.
Erza, Natsu, Gray, Lucy and Happy walked in a few seconds later looking sheepish for being caught eavesdropping.
"I'll let you all talk." Makarov said glancing at Erza who in turn nodded, like a silent exchange went on between them.
Erza sat down in the chair master was previously sitting in, the others stood behind her with Lucy holding Happy. Once master left, Erza took on a serious expression, as did everyone else.
"Harrison... Erza started, pausing for a long while as if trying to figure out how to ask her question. "Are you really who you say you are?" Erza said seriously.
My mind froze. 'Shit, now my whole team is gonna find out im a murderer and a liar... Maybe I can leave the killing part out? No... I need to stop lying to them...' I decided on how to answer Erza's question.
They looked at me curiously, I sighed.
I'm not from here... Master might have told you Erza, but you all need to know this... I paused thinking how I should continue my story.
"It doesnt matter what happened in the past. The Harrison in front of me now is my comrade, and nothing will change that!" Natsu said with a bright smile.
His smile was contagious as I too did the same. This reassured me, I took in a breath and told them all about my past and how I came to earthland, not excluding a single detail.
"I see, you kept your abilities a secret because the magic council is looking for you.." Erza stated.
"Your secret is safe with us Harrison!" Happy said enthusiastically, Natsu agreed with a "Aye sir!"
Lucy smiled and Gray had a smirk on his face. "So where are we and how long have I been here?" I asked.
"Your just outside the guild hall... You've been asleep for a week now." She informed.
I lifted my eyes in suprise. "A week!? Man I got hit hard.." I said.
"Well I think master took it harder, he was so worried and felt terrible." Gray said eyes downcast.
"Hehe.. Its okay, I shouldnt have been there in the first place... Oh! What about the guild hall is it okay?" I asked with concern.
"Its not so ba-" "Its completely trashed!" Happy interupted Lucy sentence. "Let me finish dumb cat!" Lucy berated suffocating Happy between her huge chest.
'What a way to die.' I thought jealous of Happys position. I decided to lay back down, I didnt realize how tired I really was until I did that. I could hear my team talking but I just couldnt resist the sleep that tempted me, and then it was dark again.
"Uhm guys... Harrison is sleeping." Lucy informed. Erza looked at me smiling.
"Tch.. I never got to thank him for stopping Jupiter! Erza said turning her head to the right eyes closed.
-Time skip-
Its been a week now since I woke up and told my team about my real identity. It brought up some memories that made me have bad dreams some nights, but I guess thats the price you pay for your sins.
'I wonder what my Mom and Dad would think of me now? Would they be proud of me knowing that I sometimes have to kill to save the innocent?' I thought eyes downcast as I changed into my shirt and pants. Makarov was sure to send me a new pair of shoes as my other ones where once again shot.
Putting them on I finally found the strength to walk outside the tent. I had to put my hand to my forhead in a attempt to block the suns bright rays. When my eyes adjusted I noticed my guild mates building a new hall. They where already done with the structure and now where working on siding flooring paint etc.
'I suppose these things go faster when you throw magic into the mix.' I thought.
I saw Loki walk up to me.
"Yo how you feeling man?" He asked putting his arm around my shoulder.
"Im doing fine how about you?" I asked.
"Just dandy! Say I got some tickets to a 5 star resort that I'm no longer gonna use.. you want it? I already invited your team as well.. Interested?" He said with what girls would call a charming smile.
'It would be nice to chill with my team, I've been stuck in that god damn tent for over two weeks so it would be nice to get out and have some fun.' I thought.
"Yea I will! Thanks Loki." I said taking the ticket from his hand.
"No, thank you. It would be a wast if no one was alble to use it." Loki thanked me taking his leave.
Just then Natsu and happy walked up to me from behind. "Yo Harrison! Now that your up we never did get to fight.. so how bout it? Right here right no-" Natsu was interrupted when Erza bonked Natsu on the head.
"We are in the middle of constructing the guild! Besides Harrison just recovered, He should at least be resting for another month!" Erza said oblivious that it would only take a couple days.
I sweat drop from the airhead comment from Erza. "Well I dont think it will take that long... Mabe another two days and then we can fight." I told Natsu with a competitive smirk on my face.
"Your on!" He yelled obnoxiously, which in turn Erza promtly hit him again to silence him.
"Did Loke already invite you to the resort?"
Erza asked.
"Yes I think it would be fun. When do we leave?" I questioned.
"Tomorrow, so you kight want to get some shopping done for the trip before we go."
Erza suggested.
deciding to follow Erzas suggestion, I went into Magnolia to shop for the vacation, it took a while but I was now much more informed of how magnolia is layed out and where everything is.
I looked at my sack of Jewels in depression when I got back to the Motel I rented for that one night. 'Im basically flat broke...' I thought. After all that shopping for beach cloths towels trunks etc, it took a chunk out of my savings.
'After this vacation I need to do some jobs to get some cash..' I used the term for money on earth out of habit.
-Time skip-
"This is great... I told myself, sitting on a beach chair tanning myself in the suns bright rays. I restrain myself when I see Erza and Lucy in there bikinis.
'They are so hot... They could easily top any other girl on earth in the looks and personality department.' I thought to myself trying to keep my thoughts clean.
We played vollyball swam in the ocean and had some brawls.. It was very fun but very tiring day. It was now late afternoon.
Heading back to the resort Gray spoke.
"We are gonna hit up the casino once we get changed, wanna come?" He asked me.
It sounded like fun but I was exhausted.
"Nah probably not.. Im super tired." I said lamely.
"Thats disappointing... Want us to bet some money for you?" Erza asked.
"Hehe, I would but im flat broke.." I said sheepishly.
"Thats understandable, when we get back lets do some jobs together. Us six." Erza said referring to the others as well.
"Yea I'd like that." I said smirking eyes set ahead of the path we are walking.
When we got ro the resort I sent my good luck with my team for there gambling and headed for my room.
Sighing heavily as I plop face down on the bed, too lazy to change I decided to just sleep... Unaware of the interesting events to take place when I wake up.
The next day I woke up with alot more energy than yesterday. 'Seems like I'm finally regaining my normal strength after getting hit with Masters attack.' I thought curling my hand into a fist.
standing on my feet I change into my everyday black/grey combo cloths.
After eating a quick breakfast... Well lunch since it was 1:30 pm... I headed over to Natsu and Happy's room and knocked.
After hearing no response I barged in. it was Natsu... I knew he wouldnt care.
But he wasnt there. 'Cant say im surprised, I slept for a long time he's probably already doing something else.' I concluded.
I checked my other teamates rooms but none where there. 'Man... I thought they would have woke me up? Maybe they thought I needed my rest? Nah Natsu is too oblivious he definitely would have woken me since he's right next door... I wonder where they are...' I pondered internally.
I walked down to the casino past the lobby and noticed it was closed off, there was magic knights investigating too.
Now I knew for sure something was off.
I went over to the barricade and was stopped. "Halt sir, this area is under investigation." The knight informed me.
"Its okay... Im from Fairy Tail." I said proudly showing my guild mark.
Recognition came to the mans face.
"Is there something I can help you with?" He asked stiffly.
"Yea I would like to know why this place is so roughed up..?" I asked as I looked past the barricade noticing the turned over chairs and broken tables.
"According to eyewitnesses, they said mages entered the casino, a few gunshots where heard and the lights went out as if they where what seemed to be all blinded from a spell of sorts." The man answered.
I brought my hand to my chin and rubbed it.
"So did anyone go missing?" I questioned further.
"Yes actually, a pink haired man who acted like a 8 year old was seen fighting the mage with the magic gun, he dissapeared after the black out." The man said.
This conrirmed my suspicions. 'They are definitely not on this island resort anymore...' "Thanks for the help." I thanked the magic knight who nodded in return.
-Time skip-
It was now almost nightfall, still no sign of my team returning, I investigated there whereabouts all day, only to end up empty handed.
'Damn it all! Where are you guys!?' I internally yelled.
I sat on a large boulder right on the shore of the ocean. I came here in hopes that the sound of the oceans tides would sooth my troubled mind... It wasnt working that great.
Another thirty minutes went by, suddenly the wind started to pick up. I lifted up my head at the unusual weather change.
Looking at the sky I could see clouds forming in a ripple pattern, circling around something far in the distance. so far I couldnt even see.
Suddenly a magic circle formed, many miles in diameter. I looked on in worry.
"Is that them!?" I yelled.
A ungodly amount of magic shot out of the circle on its still unknown target. The impact could be felt from where I was standing, large waves started to come into the shore. Almost like mini tsunamis!
'Well... where theres destruction... theres Fairy Tail.' I thought to myself as I got up off the rock and back on the beach.
I had a very bad feeling about this. One thing I knew for sure... Is that I needed to help them...
