Purvi woke up and found that it was already 8:00 p.m.

Purvi: Oh God! itna late hogaya? aaj to pakka marungi.

She got up, freshened up, changed, had breakfast and left. She moved out to see a car entering and a figure came out of the car.

Purvi moved towards him: Kavin? tum yaha?

Kavin gave her his bright smile: jee haan, mein yaha.

Purvi: kuch kaam hai?

Kavin: kuch kaam hoga to tab aonga kya?

Purvi: nahi, esi koi baat nahi hai.

Kavin: abhi bhi naraz ho kya?

Purvi looked up at him: nahi to, kyun? kya hua?

Kavin moved closer: ye to muje puchna chahiye na? k tumhe hua kya hai.

Purvi got into his car acting normal. Acting! : chaley? bohot late hogaya hai.

Kavin nodded his head and got into his car: han, waisey aaj tum late hogayi ho.

Purvi: hum!

Kavin smiled: haan, hum. waise kahi chaley?

Purvi: haan, bureau chalein?

Kavin: amm, kahi or.

Purvi: zaroor agar jutey khane ho.

Kavin: kuch nahi hoga yaar.

Purvi: mein manti hoon k ACP sir muje beti ki tarah rakhte hai, lekin kaam pe wo ACP hai, papa nahi. or meine, matlab humne kal hi chutti li thi, aaj ek or to salary par effect padhega.

Kavin: salary ki padi hai tumhe?

Purvi's smile faded. Kavin noticed this. Kavin: apne dost ko khushi khushi rukhsat karo.

They arrived in no time and by now, everyone had found out all thanks to DCP Chitrloe. Yes, he had visited them and of course he couldn't leave without bringing this good news of his to them.

Kavin: kya hua?

Dushyant moves towards him in full anger and smack! He got a tight slap on his face leaving the rest stunned. All had this :O face.

Kavin's cheek went red, hot red, a few straids of his hair on his face.

Kavin: Dushyant?

ACP: Dushyant? ye kya kiya tumne? bhulo mat k ye bureau hai, ghar nahi.

Dushyant lowers his head: sorry sir.

Kavin: I'm sorry.

Purvi: nahi, tumne bilkul theek kiya Dushyant, he deserves a slap.

Dushyant: ye to kuch bhi nahi tha, hat yaar, mujse baat nahi karni.

Dushyant moves towards his desk and Kavin follows behind trying to pacify him. Purvi stood there watching Kavin trying to get Dushyant to talk to him, she smiled slightly.

Sachin and Shanaya entered the bureau and saw Purvi standing at the entrance of the bureau. They looked at each other with a confused look. Sachin signalled Shanaya a what happened to her look. Shanaya noticed that Purvi was starring at Kavin and signalled him. The both smiled and moved towards her.

Sachin: kya hua Purvi?

Purvi loked at him: haan?

Sachin: arey tu itni udaas kyun hai? kya hua? kisi ne kuch bola kya?

Purvi: nahi, kuch nahi hua muje.

Sachin: tum mujse chupa rahi ho?

Purvi: nahi, arey sach mein esi koi baat nahi hai.

Sachin decides not to further discuss anything and so moves inside with the both.

Purvi evil tone: Sachin, tum dono saath saath?

Sachin and Shanaya blushes and looks at each other.

Purvi: to shadi kab hai?

Shanaya: shadi?

Purvi: haan, shadi.

Sachin looks at Shanaya:hmm, wo bhi bohot jald hojayegi.

Kavin sees them and moves towards them. Kavin pulls Sachin by his arm: Sachin, tu isey samjha na,

Sachin confused: kya hua?

Dushyant: tu iss se khud puch le.

Kavin: dekha, ye mujse baat hi nahi kar raha hai.

Sachin: muje koi batayega k hua kya hai?

Kavin and Dushyant explains him everything while arguing.

Sachin: ek minute Dushyant, Kavin, tu bhi shant hoja. hum bahir chalkey baat karte hai.

Kavin pulling Sachin and Dushyant: haan, chalo.

Sachin: ruko, lunch break mein, abhi kaam karte hai. theek hai?

Dushyant: mein abhi se bata doon, sari ghalti iski hi hai, kameena.

Kavin: yaar, gali to na do, mein sorry bol raha hoon na?

Sachin: abhi nahi, baad mein.

They got back to work, Kavin still kept on trying his best to pacify his best friend and on the other side, Purvi couldn't help but think of him, going away from her. This was a very strange feeling. She never behaved in such a manner when Sachin had to go on a mission, yes she didn't want him to go, but then she knew he would be back.

Moreover, she knew that this is their job, she didn't insist on his staying so much, nor did her heart feel so restless. This was too much and she got up and moved towards the washroom.

She washed her face and looked at herself in the mirror: ye kya halat bana di meine apni?

Shanaya moved inside: hi,

Purvi smiled at her: hi.

Shanaya: waise thank you.

Purvi looked at her: thank you?

Shanaya: haan, tumhari waja se mein or Sachin phir se ek hue.

Purvi smiled: thank you ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, meine to bas apne best friend k liye ye sab kiya.

Shanaya: meri or Sachin ki bohot hi buri ladayi hui thi us din, uska akhri din tha Pune mein.

Purvi listened to her with full concentration, she too wanted to know what had happened, but didn't wanted to interfere in his personal life.

Shanaya: uska transfer honey wala tha, or mein iss baat se khush nahi thi, hum saath mein kaam karte they. hum usi waqt se ek dusrey... ( smiled and Purvi got what she was saying ). mera dil bohot bechen tha, halankey mein janti thi k hamare job mein ek jaga tikna na mumkin hai, lekin mujse ye baat bardash nahi hui, or uss sey jagadne lagi.

Purvi somewhat felt similar and now she had to listen more carefully, maybe she can find a solution from Shanaya's talk.

Shanaya: pata hai mein uss sey itni naraz hogayi thi k mein uss sey mili bhi nahi akhri din. bas hum mein jhagda hua. tum jab jis sey pyaar karo, or wo tumse door jaye, to dil bohot bechen hota hai, raat ko neend nahi ati, kuch khane ko acha nahi lagta. bas dil chahta hai k bas usey hi dekha karey.

Purvi's eyes widened and she gulped: pyaar or mein?

Shanaya: tumne kuch kaha?

Purvi: mein ek baat share karu? kisi ko batao gi to nahi na?

Purvi is a girl with a good heart, she can be trusted very easily and so does she, trust others very easily.

Shanaya: zaroor, mein kisi ko kuch nahi bataongi, Sachin ko bhi nahi.

Purvi smiles: thank you. wo actually, tumne jo abhi abhi bola, k ye sari feelings... wo actaually, meri ek dost hai... wo... usey bhi jab wo apne dost k saath hoti hai to bohot acha lagta hai, or wo bahir jaraha hai to wo kaafi pareshan hai. wo so nahi pati or ajeeb si becheni hti hai usey, matlab hamare saath beth ti hai lekin kisi or hi khayal mein rehti hai. to kya usey bhi...?

Shanya smiles knowng that she id talking about herself: Purvi, ( after a pause ) tumhe pyaar hogaya hai.

Purvi: arey nahi, mein apni baat nahi... ( pauses and takes in what Shanaya had said )

Shanaya smiles: haan Purvi, tumhe sach mein pyaar hua hai.

Purvi stays there for a while and Shanaya leaves. Purvi smiles widely and starts laughing: I'm in love? Oh my God. muje pyaar hogaya.

She covers her mouth and giggles. How beautiful is the feeling of falling in love, only lucky ones gets to feel it, but it hurts when the very same person hurts you unknown of your feelings. She gets out of the washroom and gets to her desk looking at Kavin still trying to get Dushyant to talk to him, she smiles
