One Piece: Quest for Straw Hat Pirates
Festival in Orange Town
They finally arrive in Orange Town after they left Shells Town and Orange Town is located in Organ Island. The sailboat stop at the dock and they get off the sailboat. Kainagi tie the rope around a pole to make sure the sailboat stay there. Rai is sitting on Kainagi's shoulder. He notices a Marine ship that is right next to his sailboat. "A marine ship is here. I am starting to think that Marines ship might be the one that Captain Riper talk about. What do you think, guys?"
"Maybe that is the ship, Captain Ripper said. However, if I remember correct. The Marine are here because Orange town have a festival." Nerdra points at Orange Town that is near them in which is close between the dock and Orange Town. "You see the town that they set up? That explain everything."
Kainagi looks at Orange Town. "Yeah, now you mention it, Nerdra. Why they have a festival at this time? Do you know why?"
"I am afraid, Kainagi. I don't know why they have a festival. I may be a genius but it does not mean that I know everything that is going on around the world. I know most of it but not everything. I don't want you to think that. Kainagi."
He laughs a little bit because she is right and he thought that since she is a genius. She might know the answer to everything. "We better go and get look around to see why they set up a festival. I am also thinking to add more people to join our crew." He turns and looks at Nerdra and Eagle. "Are you coming to join me and look around?"
"I don't mind join you to take a look around. But we have a total of three people and..." Eagle points at Rai. "...one parrot. The sailboat can hold up to four or five people. What kind of people you need right now to join our crew?"
"Well, right now, we need a doctor, sniper, chef, shipwright and musician. That we all-"
Eagle yells with a 'shark teeth face'. "That's too many! I told you our sailboat can hold up to four or five people mean total only one or two can join!"
"Aw, no fair, Eagle. I want to have them all. This sucks and I hope that we can find at least one or two people to join our crew." Kainagi sighs and move his head down and he feel depress. Rai pat his back with his wing. "There, there, there, Kainagi, you will find them. You will." Rai continues pat Kainagi's back. Rai is happy inside because all he need is a navigator and Nerdra finish join since she is a navigator.
"I don't mind join you guys to take a look around." she says as he sit down on the dock. They looks at Nerdra. "Now, since we are here." she takes out her computer laptop from her backpack and she turn it on. "I need to scan the whole island first in order to make a map. When it done then we can go and take a look around."
Kainagi stop feel depress. "Nerdra, how long will it take your computer to scan the whole island? Will it work?" Kainagi asks and he still don't understand how it works since a computer is way advance for it time.
"Positive. It will work because I did it many times. And I am going to stay here for few minutes and it will take around ten to fifteen minutes for the computer to scan the whole island. When it done then we can go and take a look around." Nerdra is busy typing.
"You mean you going to set up a map of this island, Organ Island, inside your computer? All the information of this island inside?" Eagle asks.
"Yes, Eagle. What you just said is correct. I did explained to you guys while we sailed from Shells Town to here. I know it too advance for you." she looks inside her backpack and she get out a small black scanner that look like a pen.
"What is that? That one is new. It that a bomb?" Rai is puzzles.
"It's not a bomb and I am not going to blow up this island, silly parrot. This is my scanner. This special scanner will scan the whole island and sent it to my computer." She clicks the button on the scanner like a pen. The scanner start to make a bleep sounds and it begin to fly up in the air. They are watching the scanner fly up in the air.
"This is weird. I mean, really weird, I never see this kind of technology before." Eagle looks at Nerdra. "You sure are a genius. What does the scanner of your do exactly?"
"The scanner will scan the whole island then it will sent the data of the island in my computer laptop." The computer starts to make a bleep sounds. "Right now the scanner is make a connection to my computer and it telling me that it start to scan the whole island. According to my computer, it's state that it at 5% right now."
"So, that mean when it reach to 100% it finish?" Kainagi asks.
Nerdra looks at Kainagi. "Yes, you are right. How do you know that, Kainagi? Are you a genius?"
"Well, I am not a genius." he cross his arm. "I just make a wild guess by use my common sense because you said 5%. I was thinking that 100% mean full and the data will be complete. You see the difference between 5% and 100%."
"I have a feeling that you are smart." Kainagi laughs when Nerdra says that he is smart. Nerdra looks at her computer and she notices it at 15%. "It at 15% now and I wish it go faster but it will take a while." She sighs.
A man that come from Orange Town is walking toward them and the man stop. They looks at the man. The man smiles to show that they are welcome. "Hello, welcome to Orange Town and my name is Boodle. I am the mayor of Orange Town. Are you here to celebrate with us? We have a festival."
"We know that your town have a festival and we will take a look around later. Thank you for tell us, sir. My name is Kainagi." Kainagi points at Rai. "This is my parrot, Rai."
"Oh, you have a parrot. Can your parrot talk?" Boodle asks because he is curious since he want to see if a parrot can talk. When Boodle asks if Rai can talk. Rai fly down and he is standing on the ground. He bow. "Hello, Boodle, and yes I can talk."
"Wow, how many words can you say?" Rai answers. "A lots of words and I can talk like regular human can." Boodle is surprised that Rai can talk really well. "How can you talk so good? What kind of parrot are you?" he asks and is really curious.
"Just great, I have a feeling that many people never see a parrot before." he sighs. "Anyway, I am a very rare parrot. A very rare one. I am a special specie because of my ability to talk due to my intelligent. I can talk to animal as well and understand them. Most parrot can talk but I am different."
"Oh, wow. I am sorry. I never see a parrot around here nor in my life. I am jealous that Kainagi have a parrot to talk to." Boodle looks at Kainagi and Kainagi smiles. "Sorry, people keep telling me that they are jealous that I have a parrot." he laughs a little bit while scratches his head.
Boodle notices that Eagle is standing with them. He starts to feel scare. "Storm 'Dual Lightning' Eagle! What are you doing here?! Are you here to cause trouble?! Wait, if he with you then that mean...are you guys a pirate?!" Boodle make a 'Oh my god face' and is shaking.
"Whoa, easy there, Boodle, sir. Yes, we are pirate. We are not here to cause any trouble." Kainagi smiles. "We are here to enjoy the festival and to look around. We won't cause any trouble I promise."
"Why are you scare of Storm Eagle, Boodle?" Rai asks as he fly back to sit on Kainagi's shoulder.
"Well, I heard that Storm Eagle is a dangerous man. He travel across the East Blue. He kill many innocent people and take young children. He is a monster and he even kill..." Eagle disturb Boodle. "Where in the world did you hear that damn rumor?!" Boodle answers. "From a group people that I heard the news about you and I got the information from bounty hunters."
"And you believe them?! Wow, I can't believe those bounty hunters people sure are jealous. Damn, I wish I can live a normal life." he sighs.
"Then act like one, Eagle." Nerdra says as she waiting for the computer to reach 100%.
Eagle looks at Nerdra and he yells with an angry 'shark teeth face'. "Shut up!" Nerdra answers. "I just did."
Kainagi and Rai are laughing. Eagle looks at Kainagi and Rai. "Stop laughing!" he punch both of them and they fall on the ground. Kainagi rise his hand and Rai rise his wing. "I am sorry..." they say weakly while they are on the ground.
"Anyway, Boodle, I am not that kind of person. I am a bounty hunter. I travel and capture criminal to gave them to the Marines. That what I do. I am not a bad guy. If I act like what you just said. My master will kill me."
"Oh, I see. I understand and thanks goodness. I am happy that you not here to cause trouble. Two years ago the town people left because a pirate that look like a clown cause disaster and destroy our town with his bomb."
Kainagi stand up and then he sit on the dock while cross his leg. Rai sit on Kainagi's shoulder. "Really? A clown destroy your town? What happened?" he asks while he and his crew are listening to Boodle's story.
"The clown named is Buggy the Clown. He was the one that cause trouble. But Luffy come here two years ago and he fought Buggy the Clown and he beat him. The town is save thanks to him."
"Was Roronoa Zoro with him?" Eagle asks Boodle.
"Yes, he was with Luffy two years ago. He was here with him. But I don't know where he is right now."
"Eagle, why you want to find him?" Nerdra asks and is curious.
Eagle looks at Nerdra. "I need to find him because his parents ask me to give him the message and I am his friend."
"You are his friend? That's new and what kind of message?" Kainagi asks.
Eagle looks at Kainagi. "Yes he is my friend and the message…well…it more like an angry message because he left without say good-bye to his pirates."
"That's cold. That sound really cold…" Rai says while cover his face with his wing.
Nerdra looks at Eagle. "Well, at least he safe with Luffy."
"Nerdra, I am not sure if he safe right now because I've never heard of him lately for the past two years. I wonder what happened to him. I know he not dead because he too strong to die."
The computer make a bleep sound and Nerdra looks at her computer. "Oh, it is at 90% now."
"Huh? What is that, Nerdra?" Boodle asks.
"Oh, this is my computer. I am waiting for the map of this island because we want to look around and not get lost."
"Oh, computer? I don't know what that is but I hope you all enjoy our festival. I better go and meet Chouchou at his Pet Shop. Please visit us and see you later." he walks away to Orange Town that is close to the dock to meet Chouchou.
"Chouchou, that sound like a pet name." Rai says.
"Nerdra, who is Buggy the Clown? Can you please tell me?" Kainagi asks but he know who is he since he finish watch the war at Marineford on the broadcast two years ago on Okami's island.
"Buggy the Clown? I let you know he, right now, known as 'The Star Clown Buggy'. He is a living legend. He was a member of Roger Pirates and he is currently members of the Shichibukai also known as 'The Seven Warlords of the Sea'."
"Ah, Buggy the Clown. I heard that he escape 'The Great Underwater Prison' known as Impel Down." Eagle is thinking for a moment. "Come think of it, there was one man who escape Impel Down. Who was he again?" he asks Nerdra.
"I know what you mean, Eagle. Twenty-two years ago, one man escape Impel Down, his name is Shiki, he also known as 'Shiki the Golden Lion'."
"Oh, that man, 'Shiki the Golden Lion'. I heard that he lost the fight to Sengoku and Garp twenty-two years ago. Then after that, he was sent to Impel Down. Now that new to me that he escape. I wonder how did he escape?" Kainagi says as he looks at Eagle.
"If I remember correct, I heard that he cut his own legs and that's how he escape Impel Down." Eagle says.
The computer make a beep sounds and Nerdra looks at her computer. "It finish! It at 100% now." The scanner pen fly down and she grasp the scanner and she put it inside her backpack.
Kainagi looks at Nerdra. "Nerdra, can you please locate the Pet Shop? I want to pay a visit. Can you do that?"
"Yes, I can. I am checking on that right now." she is typing and the computer make a bleep sounds. "There! It not that far." she turn off the computer and she put it inside her backpack. She stand up and she put her backpack behind her back.
"Follow me, guys. We are going to the Pet Shop." Nerdra starts walking and they are following her through Orange Town. They see many people are having fun and many children holding balloons and cotton candy.
"They sure are having fun." Rai looks at Kainagi while sitting on Kainagi's shoulder.
"Yeah, that's good that they having fun. They need it." Kainagi smiles.
They arrive at the Pet Shop and they notice a dog is sitting in front of the Pet Shop. The dog is wearing a bow tie. Boodle is sitting on a water fountain close to the Pet Shop. They are walking toward Boodle and Boodle notices that they are coming to him and he put his newspaper down that he was reading. He smiles. "You are here. I have a feeling you will come. Did you enjoy the festival?"
"Yeah, we just look around and it look fun. We sure enjoy it." Kainagi answers.
"Is that Pet Shop your?" Eagle asks.
"Oh no, this is not my Pet Shop. It belong to Chouchou."
"Chouchou?" Nerdra asks.
Boodle points at the dog that is sitting. "His name is Chouchou. He is the owner of the Pet Shop."
"He is the owner? Where is his master?" Rai asks.
"Chouchou's master passed away due to illness. He went to visit a doctor but never return. Chouchou's master was my friend, his name was Hocker and he loves Chouchou so much with all his heart and he trusted Chouchou to watch the Pet Shop." Boodle looks at the sky. "I am sure that he is happy that Chouchou is watching his Pet Shop."
"Wow, it is a beautiful story." Kainagi sniff because he was crying due to the story that is moving. "I am sure that his master is happy. I am sure." he smiles. "Hocker might be dead but he is still alive in Chouchou's heart and memory. You too, Boodle."
Boodle looks at Kainagi and smiles. "Thank you."
Eagle looks at Chouchou. "Does he stay there like that?"
"Yes, he sit there like that for day and night, unmoving, because he love the Pet Shop and guard it." Boodle answers.
"So, the Pet Shop is his treasure?" Nerdra asks.
Boodle looks at Nerdra. "Yes, that is his treasure."
Kainagi sit in front of Chouchou and smiles. "I am happy that your Pet Shop is your treasure." he take off his black goggle on his head. "This black goggle is my treasure just like your Pet Shop." he smiles.
Chouchou is barking at Kainagi.
Rai is sitting on Kainagi's shoulder and he is listening to Chouchou. "Chouchou asks, 'Why is your black goggle is important to you?' that what he asks."
"You can talk to animal, Rai?" Nerdra asks.
"Yes, I can talk to animal because I am a parrot in which I am an animal. Kainagi can also understand and talk to animal." Rai answers.
Eagle and Nerdra are shocking and she asks. "Kainagi, you can talk to animal? You can?"
"I guess the cat is out of the bag." he stands up and puts his goggle on his head. "Yes, I can talk to animal and I can understand them. I got to be honest, I don't know why I am understand animal. Oh well..." he sighs and he looks at Chouchou. "The goggle is my treasure because my grandfather give it to me when I was a kid. That's why it important to me." he smiles.
Chouchou is happy and start to bark.
Kainagi is laughing. "He says 'Don't lose it' and of course, Chouchou, I won't lose it. It is my treasure." He pat Chouchou's head.
He looks at Eagle and Nerdra. "It's time to go." he looks at Boodle. "Thanks for let us enjoy the festival and be safe." he smiles.
"Aw, leaving already? I wish you guys stay for a little bit longer."
"We love to stay a little longer, Boodle. But we have to go. Bye, take care." Nerdra says.
"I agree, we better get going. Bye, take care and don't believe what they say about me." Eagle smiles but inside he want to kill those bounty hunters for spread false rumor.
"Hahaha, I won't believe what they say about you from now on, Eagle. Bye!" he is waving at them and Chouchou is barking. They are waving back while they walk back to the sailboat.
"It was fun!" Kainagi smiles and looks at Nerdra. "Nerdra, where we head to next?" Kainagi asks while Rai sitting on Kainagi's shoulder.
"I will tell you when we get on the sailboat first." she answers.
They finally arrive at the dock and they notice that the Marine ship is gone.
"I guess they left. I hope they enjoy the festival." Kainagi says.
They get on the sailboat and Kainagi untie the rope and Eagle unties the rope for the wind to blow at the mainsail for the sailboat to sail. The winds starts to blow and the sailboat start to sail. Kainagi's sailboat set sail across the sea.
Nerdra open her backpack and she turn on her computer laptop. "Let see…" she starts typing and she looks at Kainagi. "We are going to Gecko Islands and there is a village called Syrup Village."
"Perfect! Gecko Islands! Let's go!" Kainagi smiles while the sailboat is sailing to Gecko Islands.
