Naruto: Hiraishin Reborn

Naruto's eyes slowly opened as he began to wake up. He was about to stretch as he felt a weight on him looking down he could see Satsuki snuggling into him. He blushed a little. This had been the most contact that he had with anyone in a while, not even considering that this was the most time he had ever spent with anyone of the other gender. He spent some time with Jiraiya but other than that he had few talks with any other humans, its what made what he was doing different.
As he tried to get up she began to shake slightly. Sighing he started shaking her to wake her up. After a couple of minutes of shaking she began to stir and began to wake up. He could not deny that even while she slept she looked beautiful. He had stopped denying his attraction to her. Not only was she beautiful but she understood the world around. Not like many did. The world was not all good. The real world was different. And like himself, she was also broken in a way. He was broken because of Konoha. He did not trust easily, he did not have many fond memories of humans, he had seen the dark side of them. While she had also seen the dark side of them, she had lost her whole clan in a matter of an hour and she was told that she was merely left to be bred by her brother her killed the clan.
They had both seen and touched the darkness. They both strived for power, and they strived for it for the same reasons. He strived for more power for survival so that no one could ever hurt him again and to get revenge and kill the man who had the hand in his parents death. While she strived for revenge on her brother for what he did and for survival so to keep herself from being taken by Itachi. They were so similar in many ways it was uncanny.
When he first began feeling the attraction he merely believed it to be that just attraction. But after doing research on it, he had come to a different conclusion. It was more than just a silly crush. He once heard from Jiraiya that opposites attract, he always never thought of it, but he had recalled it and had come to think the saying. She had seemed to also share some type of attraction to him. So maybe the saying was wrong. They both seemed to be attracted to each other.
Unfortunately, he had concluded he did not know how to proceed. He didn't know how to do much to do with feelings. So, he would do what he always has done when he needs answers, research. If anything, he would need to someone ask for advice maybe Kakashi, not Jiraiya at all, he already had an idea of what his answer would be, and it would just be a waste of time.
Getting out of his thoughts he sees Satsuki's eyes begin to flutter open as she looked up to him. Giving her a smile, he said,
"Hey, I was going to get up and thought it was best to get you up. You should probably get your friends up." She smiled back and before he left she caught his hand, once more he looked down to her where she said,
"Thank you, for last night, I needed that." Naruto gave another smile and began to walk down to his room. He had some thinking to do.
Satsuki got up and stretched, she hadn't slept that well for a long time. She had felt safe. In Konoha she felt semi safe. If her brother was strong enough to kill her whole family and no one catch him, then what would have stopped him from getting into Konoha. But with Naruto he made her feel safe. The Hokage had made it out to her when she had asked about him that he was strong and that even with her brother and Orochimaru fighting him they might not have been able to beat him. So being his arms she had never had any fear that she might not wake up in the morning without her brother standing over her to take her.
As she made it to the other rooms she got up the other members of the mission. At first they were confused. Most of them other than Kurenai had taken a shift for watch. She had just told them that Naruto had told her at midnight during her shift that the housed was protected by seals and that no one could get in without him allowing it, so there was no point to have someone stay up. The shinobi her age were mostly surprised that seals were that strong.
Getting past there surprise the group got to eating and after waiting, that all they could do. Kakashi was reading his book, Kiba was lounging with Akamaru, Hinata and Sakura were having a conversation about what they were expecting of the mission, Sai seemed to be drawing in a book, Shino, Kurenai and Satsuki seemed to all be relaxing and not doing anything. It was peaceful until Kiba growled and stood up and said,
"Ugh when is this mission going to start we need to be doing something sitting here is boring. I would rather be training." Kakashi looked up from his book to his student and said,
"Ma ma Kiba, you need to rest it is best to have patience. Naruto said his contact will be here soon, we just need to wait. And you should enjoy this peace we don't know when we next will get it. But…" closing his book he put it in his pack and standing up "…it would not be a bad idea to do some team training I am going to ask Naruto if he will join us. It has been a while since we worked together we need our teamwork to be perfect if we are going to survive."
Kakashi then walked down the hallway as he made his way toward the room that Naruto was in. He hadn't seen him since the day before. He knew that he didn't know how to socialize with anyone. From what Jiraiya had told him, Naruto rarely stayed in one place for long, he had also told him that he three friends, one of them was the Biju that was sealed inside of him. So, he had come to think Naruto just didn't know how to socialize. It kind of reminded him of how Kurenai described Sai to the other Jounin, he was socially inept. He would have to help him with that if he could. Though he wasn't exactly the greatest teacher, he wasn't exactly what you would consider socially inept.
As he reached the door he knocked a few times and waited until he heard the door slide open. Naruto looked to Kakashi and asked,
"Hey Kakashi, what do you need?" Kakashi gave Naruto his eye smile and said,
"We were wondering if you mind joining us, we were going to go over strategy and work on some team formations and training?" Naruto looked at him for a second then shrugged and said,
"Sure, give me a second, I will get changed and meet you guys outside." Kakashi gave Naruto another of his eye smiles and nodded as he walked away. Kakashi walked back to the living room as Naruto closed his door to get ready. As Kakashi entered he walked straight to the door and opened it and said,
"What are you waiting for lets go." As he walked out the door the rest of the group followed.
With Naruto he got ready for his first "team" training. The word itself was quite foreign to him. He hadn't ever worked as a team with other people. The only beings he had worked with were his summons and Kurama other than that he didn't know the first thing of it. He had picked a couple of shinobi books from Konoha before he left. He wanted to be ready for his new adventure of working for Konoha. Unfortunately, he had not read any of them. With a sigh he reached for his scroll that he had put the books in and unsealed the one he needed Titled,
"How to work on a Team effectively."
So, putting it in a seal on his arm, Naruto walked out of his room and walked to the door to the outside. Thankfully the place the house sat was so remote that you would have to be specifically be looking for it to find it, so training would not give away their position.
As he walked out of the house and closed the door he came to the sight of the rest of his "teammates" sparring with each other while their Sensei's watched. From what he could tell it was team vs team. Kakashi's team seemed to be the stronger of the team with two taijutsu specialists Hinata and Kiba, and Satsuki being a jack of all trait shinobi. While the other team seemed to have two long range attacking specialists Sakura and Shino, while Sai was confident with taijutsu he was just not as skilled as Team 7 was, though he had read he used a unique form of Suiton, that allowed him to use ink to "create" and bring to life the paintings he made. If Naruto had to be honest it was quiet cool and creative, he had never seen anything like it.
As he walked over and stood next to Kakashi and Kurenai he had to guess that out of the 6 of them Satsuki was the strongest not only was she in his opinion Low Jounin, she was quite fast and agile, not only that but he had finally noticed that she had a fully matured Sharingan. The others he would say were all mid to high chunin overall, while each lacked in some parts like taijutsu or a collection of ninjutsu, they each had their strengths.
He hadn't realized how easy it was to get a feel for his team he merely did what he did when he fought an opponent watch and understand their strengths and weaknesses, though usually he would then use those weaknesses to either kill or maim his enemy. Though as he watched them train, it allowed him the opportunity to fully gage Satsuki's abilities.
After another 25 minutes of them watching Kakashi called a break. And those 25 minutes were all he needed to understand what he needed to work on with his first "student". As they stopped he went over what he gauged from the fight.
Satsuki was overall Low Jounin, but she had her strengths and weaknesses just like every ninja did. While she was a competent enough shinobi with Taijutsu, she was not good enough to beat Itachi if he had to guess her Taijutsu was her weakness being what he would presume was about Mid Chunin, and while that worked fighting other opponents like her teammates because she had the Sharingan on her side, it would not be enough to fight off Itachi. Her biggest strength was her agility and flexibility, he had to guess that her speed was about mid Jounin. It was fast compared to all her peers.
Though that would still need to be worked on to go up against Itachi. Itachi himself was only High Jounin in speed but his reaction time with the Sharingan was insane. When he had first fought him and first fought an Uchiha, the Sharingan surprised him. How he could react and meet him with blows was quite impressive.
Her chakra control was near perfect nothing to be worked on there, though getting it perfect would be beneficial. From what she could tell her genjutsu and ninjutsu repertoire was good. He shouldn't have expected anything less from a student of Kakashi, the man who has copied over 1000 jutsu, He himself was a man who believed that quality was better then quantity. He had master and used only dozen jutsu or variants of them. Though Kage bun shin's were an exception when he trained, the more was better.
So, after her evaluation he had conclude that it was best for her to increase her speed and strength, work on taijutsu, and lastly needed to sharpen her chakra control. He concluded that while she might not get as powerful as Itachi in terms of taijutsu it would be better for her to become faster than him. She also needed a new taijutsu style, she used the same one that Itachi used and that would only allow Itachi the easier victory in those terms. Unlike her, he had fought other Uchiha and knew how to combat it, unlike her who was unaware of how to combat it. So, he was hoping that he could get Satsuki to pass the White Tiger's test to become their new summoner.
What he hadn't told the clan was that he hadn't began looking very hard when he first found the summoning contract. He wasn't a people person, so he hadn't found anyone worthy, so hopefully that after a long time Byakko would just except her as their new summoner. Though he didn't know from what Gamabunta first told him after his "test" that it was a joke and that there was no "real test" and he was merely messing with him, so he didn't know if there was a test.
Getting out of his thought he watched as the two teams made it over to them. He could see that they were mostly out of breath, he noted that he also needed to increase her reserves which would then help her, also increase her stamina, from what he could tell she had Jounin reserves, but would need more to fight Itachi, the man when he last fought had Kage level reserves of chakra.
Kakashi then gave them a lazy eye smile and said, "Great work, it has been a while since our teams have worked together. Hopefully that spar gave each of you have gotten a reminder of what each of your strengths are." All the chunin nodded. After Kiba glanced a gave Naruto a glare and with a slight smirk he said,
"Hey why don't you spare, we don't have an understanding of what you do, and Kakashi Sensei said we need to know each other's abilities so we can survive in this war, so why don't you show use what you can do." Naruto looked toward what he had deemed the mutt, he did think about it, he had heard that it was best for teammates to understand each other's abilities so the team leader could best use each member effectively. Naruto then replied in his usual bored and uninterested tone with,
"Alright, who wants to spar then?" Naruto then walked into the opening where they were just sparring.
Kiba was smirking he really wanted to get one up on the man. He didn't like how he was so easily handled when they first met, and he wanted to get Satsuki to start looking at him not at the new guy. But before he could volunteer, Kakashi snapped close his book and put it away and said,
"I'll do it." With that Kakashi made his way toward the grounds. He had wanted to spar with Naruto to see how strong he was. He had heard from Kurenai and Asuma that he was strong not only did he know the Hiraishin he had been able to ably a nature transformation to the Rasengan, something that he couldn't do or that his Sensei couldn't or Jiraiya.
Naruto could only smirk as he saw Kakashi reach for his hitai-ate. He guessed that he had heard that he was fast, he was going to be using the Sharingan against him. Naruto didn't have to lie. He was looking forward to this spar. He had heard about the famous Kakashi Hatake, he was the best shinobi in Konoha next to Jiraiya, and Tsunade. He had heard that the man had even been the Hokage, though he had only heard that lately when he had taken walks around Konoha in a henge. Naruto then said to Kakashi with the most blatant of sarcasm in his voice,
"Wow, I am so honored to have already started with the Sharingan, to think you would have to use it already on little old me." Kakashi merely got in a stance, while Naruto also got in a stance. Kakashi then responded with his trademarked eye smile and said,
"I heard your fast not to mention you held your own against Orochimaru and Itachi, I am not going to take any chances." Naruto only smirked more. This was going to be fun. He hadn't sparred with Jiraiya in over a year and the only other times he fought were in life or death fights mostly against Akatsuki or Iwa nin. He would never tell the old pervert, but those spars had been probably some of his best memories ever.
Both just stood in their respective stances. For a whole minute neither moved. The two just stared at each other as the both seemed to be analyzing one another. Both Satsuki and Hinata activated there dojutsu to see what exactly would occur. A leaf then began to float down in the middle of the training field. When it hit the ground they both sped at each other meeting right in the middle engaging in an intense taijutsu exchange. Both each getting their hits in. Kakashi was the first to separate a flip through a couple hand signs before saying,
"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu" and firing the jutsu straight at Naruto. Naruto smiled to himself, Kakashi must have realized we weren't by a big source of water so he figured he wouldn't have anywhere to draw some to protect himself. Or he was just testing him to see what his other affinities were. It was a smart move. This spar was supposed to show his strengths to his team he was working with. But the man forgot one thing he was a Uzumaki.
Naruto then bit his finger as he brought out a scroll, he unrolled it and dropped it on the ground quickly as well as dropping some blood on the seal. As the blood hit the scroll the scroll released water from the seal. While the seal was releasing his contents, Naruto flipped through a few hands signs then held out his hand and said,
"Suiro no Jutsu" as he finished saying it a ball of water began to form around him as he had the prison jutsu instead of using it to capture someone, instead he used it to protect himself from the katon jutsu. And Naruto got it up in a nick of time as the Katon Jutsu hit the ball of water as soon as it finished forming.
As the two jutsu hit each other the area erupted with smoke. As he felt the fire turn into smoke he dropped the Jutsu he was in only to be punched in the face by a ready Kakashi straight into a tree. Naruto quickly recovered and engaged the Jounin back in taijutsu combat.
Part of the audience who had witnessed what Naruto was doing were confused. He was a lot faster the first time they had met him. He had some insane speed that he displayed but here he was going slower than Kakashi was going. Sai was the first to voice his opinion,
"He is not as fast as you had told us when you first met him." It did confuse the team that had been sent to retrieve him, Naruto had shown speed like not even Gai, Kurenai or Asuma could track. Satsuki herself was confused. When she had first seen him save her he was a lot faster then this not only when he put the mutt in his place.
Back in the match Kakashi was confused himself, from what Gai had told him he couldn't track his movements when his clone moved to counter Kiba from doing something idiotic. But now Naruto was moving a slower than him but before he could voice his opinion Naruto jumped away from their taijutsu exchange.
Naruto had a smirk on his face. God he hadn't had fun in a fight in a while, fighting Kakashi was a lot different then Jiraiya, Kakashi was more accuracy and speed while Jiraiya was more power. He had wanted to see how well Kakashi fought and it was different then Jiraiya. While Jiraiya could take his hits and just give the hits right back Kakashi used his Sharingan to not only evade and counter but used it to perfection that he had only seen been used by Itachi when he fought him. He had to hand it to Kakashi, the man may not be an Uchiha, but he had mastered the Sharingan powers to a great extent.
Naruto then spoke and said,
"You know Kakashi, I have heard about you, one of Konoha's greatest shinobi and I have to say that they weren't wrong. Now that the warmup is done, let's begin." With that Naruto raised his left hand into a half ram sign and said,
"Fuin Release" After finishing his statement markings across Naruto appeared and then vanished in an instant with a huge gust of wind.
The surrounding audience were confused what happened. Sakura voiced her question and said,
"What just happened, what were those markings on him?" The question went unanswered by them as none of them knew what they were…except for Kakashi. He merely had wide eyes. He then said,
"Oh shi…" he never got to finish as Naruto disappeared in front of him and appeared to the right side of him and gave him a heavy hook to the face that sent him flying through the trees.
The audience around was left speechless. What ever was just done made Naruto speed increase quite drastically. If they had to be honest they had only ever seen such a speed increase and that was in the first Chunin exams they were apart of when Lee had taken off his weights and released some of the gates.
As Kakashi recovered he could only stare at Naruto for a second before he chuckled slightly he then said,
"You caught me off guard there, I wasn't expecting to see those seals, I haven't seen those seals in years. Sensei used to say they were great but to fully see them in action is quite the sight. I guess you are right. The real match has started."
After saying that Naruto smirked and nodded and then disappeared once again to appear behind Kakashi. This time though Kakashi was ready for him. The first time he was not ready for the sudden increase of speed and the surprise of the seals themselves. But he had fought Gai when he had used the gates before so he could follow the movement of Naruto.
Kakashi then blocked the incoming attack from Naruto and they engaged in another taijutsu battle. This one however was different the ones before Naruto played mostly on the defense but this time he was on the complete offense. Not allowing Kakashi to counter, only defend. This kept going on for a little until Naruto got a hit into the stomach of Kakashi that gave him an opening as he grabbed Kakashi's arm and hurled him back into the trees.
Kakashi got back up after a few seconds of regaining himself. If he had to be honest Naruto was fast just as fast as he had remembered his sensei to be. Even without using Hiraishin Minato was a fast ninja. To use Hiraishin he needed to gain the speed to properly use it. As he got back to his feet he looked at Naruto. The boy had grown quite a lot from the few times he had seen the boy in passing. He become a real shinobi. His parents would have been proud of the shinobi he had become. He then saw Naruto reach in his pouch and throw futon enhanced kunai at him.
Easily he was able to dodge them that was probably his mistake as he saw the kunai as they passed he honestly had his breathe taken away. Hiraishin markers. As soon as he realized what they were he tried to Kawarimi no Jutsu. He barely made it as he escaped what would have been a devastating hammer kick to his side.
As he looked at Naruto all he could see was him smirking. The boy seemed to be having the time of his life. Then he felt it a kunai to his neck. He then heard the voice say,
"I think I win Kakashi." Kakashi then looked behind him to see another Naruto. He was surprised he hadn't sensed him or even saw the clone move at all. This was the same thing that Gai told him the Kage Bunshin just appeared, no puff, no movement just appeared. When Gai had told him about it he didn't believe him but seeing it was incredible.
Whatever Naruto had done really was impressive it was like Hiraishin without the flash and the marker, he knew it wasn't a Shushin, whatever it was it was quite impressive. Gai had told him it that he thought it was pure speed but from what he had just happened to him it had to be something else.
Kakashi than sighed. He hadn't been bested in a spar like that in quite a long time. Gai gave him a challenge and won half of the spars that they had but this was different. The young man seemed to have been having fun and as he looked over the original it didn't even look like he had broken a sweat. Either the youth were getting stronger or Naruto was just that strong. Kakashi then nodded his head and said,
"Hai, you win." With his admittance of his win Naruto gave one last smirk before his clone disappeared. The smirk seem to turn into that lazy smile that seemed to always be on his face as he went and picked up his kunai and walked back to the group.
He walked toward the group and saw most of their surprised reactions and as he passed he looked at Kiba and said,
"And that is some of what I can do mutt." With that he began to walk back toward the house as Kakashi began to return to rejoin the group.
Most of the people there were beyond surprised Naruto was beyond fast from what they had seen. This only made Kiba fear and grow even more angry with him, he had beaten his sensei, someone that he had yet to best and he did it so fast that he could barley even follow the movements. Satsuki herself was wowed by the power and speed he had, she had fought her sensei and done well before, but she had yet to beat him herself but for him to do it so easily and from what she could tell without even breaking a sweat, he was stronger than she had believed.
As Kakashi returned to the group, Shino one of the two who was not fully phased as he had kept control over his emotions well asked,
"Kakashi Sensei, those marking, what were they, why you may ask, because the spar seemed to take a drastic turn toward Naruto's favor as soon as those marking disappeared?" Kakashi responded with
"Good question Shino, those markings as you called them were seals. Specifically, resistance seals. Created by the Uzumaki clan, Naruto's mother's clan. Though my sensei, the Yondaime heavily modified them to help condition his body for extreme speeds so he could maximize the use of the Hiraishin." Shino nodded as he understood were an extreme way to train one's body to increase one's speed. With the explanation it gave clarity to the rest of the group. Kiba then growled and looked at Kakashi and said,
"If those seals are so good why doesn't every ninja use them." Kakashi gave his student a glance he could tell that Kiba did not like a new "alpha male" in his territory meaning anywhere close to either of his teammates.
Kakashi sighed he had heard of the outburst he had during the retrieval mission, and how he let his emotions get the better of him because he didn't like how Satsuki seemed to take an interest in Naruto. This mission was going to get worse if Kiba lost his cool more. Kakashi then replied and said,
"Its because the seals themselves are hard to make even myself or Jiraiya-sama does not have enough skill to make them." That kind of shocked the group. Jiraiya was Konoha's resident seal master and if the seals were even out of his reach then Naruto sealing techniques were above that it was impossible to think. Kakashi then said,
"Alright time to break for lunch." With that the group made their way back toward the house.
Evening
The rest of the afternoon went rather well nothing exciting happened to the group as they went over new formations. As they were eating dinner Satsuki slipped away toward Naruto's room. He hadn't been out since his spar with Kakashi and she wanted to ask him about his fight with Kakashi.
As she came to the door she knocked on it and waited for him to come to the door. Naruto then opened the door and looked to see that it was Satsuki he then asked,
"Hey, what do you need?" Satsuki then asked,
"Could I come in?" Naruto looked at her for a second and nodded as he moved to let her in, as she walked in Naruto closed the door behind her. In Naruto's room Satsuki had to stifle a laugh at what she saw on his bed, a book that read "How to work on a Team effectively". She had read a similar type of book after joining team 7, she wasn't much of a team player and with her team barely passing their team exam she wanted to know how best to work on a team. As she stood there Naruto walked over to a chair and sat and motioned for her to sit as well. When she did Naruto asked,
"So, what do you need?" Satsuki then responded with
"I wanted to ask you about your fight with my sensei. When you were fighting him, and you released those seals you became extremely fast. I could just track you barely throughout the fight after that and the rest of our group couldn't at all other then Hinata when she activated her Byakugan. But when your clone appeared behind Kakashi I couldn't, even he and Hinata said when I asked them about it that they couldn't either. How did you do it?"
She was honestly curious because when he first released his seals from what Kakashi said he went to his normal speed, and when at that speed she could still partial track him, but the last attack was so much different the clone just appeared, she thought that he just made the bunshin and it appeared that far away but it seemed unlikely, she had never heard of such a far distance a clone could appear.
Naruto thought about it for a second, he hadn't ever told anyone about this jutsu he had partially made it after the notes of his father, he merely put the finishing touches on it. He knew that the move would be chakra taxing for most people and mostly useless information to other. Weighing his options, he opted with telling her. Naruto then spoke and said,
"It's true, what I did was something different, it was kind of like the Hiraishin, my dad before he had died had been trying to create a new jutsu like the Hiraishin and those notes were what I used to finish my father's masterpiece. I call it Flash Step. Not many people if they could use this jutsu could use it like myself, you need a monster amount of chakra. What you do is the same concept of when you release killing intent, except you release a small layer a chakra instead like when one releases killing intent into the area you have to hold the thin layer of chakra the surrounds the area through out the fight or else it wont work. The chakra itself isn't seen at all with the naked eye, but your Hyuga friend probably saw it. You see with the Hiraishin you can teleport anything touching your chakra, so my father had started doing the opposite. What if you could teleport to your chakra? Flash Step allows someone to teleport to a piece of your chakra, that it why you couldn't see my bunshin move in the spar or when the mutt tried to attack me. I created the bunshin and it used the flash step as soon as it came to be to get right in front the mutt and behind Kakashi. It takes a lot of time to master and one has to increase ones speed to the limit because the jutsu requires you to move at insane speeds that if you aren't ready could damage you or kill you. Now I have not been able to make the jutsu go that far, it now has a range limit. I was lucky the Kakashi was that close 5 more feet back and I wouldn't have been able to get behind him. Though I have no plans to make it go any farther, the Hiraishin is for longer distances, the jutsu itself serves its purpose."
Satsuki was amazing. The jutsu that was just described to her was something that seemed impossible, but he had done it twice in front of her eyes. She was about to speak, when she saw Naruto look to the wall like he was focusing. Naruto then thought,
"Kurama do you feel that?" He then heard Kurama snort and say,
"Of course, I feel that, its that annoying water boy, though it seems like he brought someone else with him." Naruto nodded.
He then said as he stood up,
Come on Satsuki, my…friend is here." With that Naruto went to the door and Satsuki followed him as he went straight out the door. The other looked at her and she said,
"I believe his contact is here." The others nodded and got up and went with Satsuki outside as they saw Naruto waiting.
As Naruto made his way toward the training ground that was used he could sense two signatures. One which he knew was the man he had saved from one of Orochimaru's bases and the other was unknown and felt surprised, though Naruto didn't know from what. Naruto then said,
"Suigetsu, I know you're here. You try this ever time, it never works." He could feel the two chakra signatures stop. They were hiding themselves well, usually Suigetsu tried something dumb when they met, last time he tried to hit him with 2 dozen shuriken only to miss them all. He was expecting this one to be just the same. He then heard the hurling of what sounded like a sword coming through the trees. As he looked up he saw the Kubikiribocho flying toward him. Kakashi then said,
"Scatter." Satsuki, Hinata and Kiba then said in surprise as they scattered,
"That's the Kubikiribocho! That means…" They didn't finish their sentence as they got ready to fight a man that they hadn't seen in over 3 years.
It honestly surprised him, the last time he had met with him he didn't have this sword, from what he had read in the last bingo book was that the demon of the mist had this sword. He then felt his teammates jump out of the way of the sword as it just came hurling at him. As he got out of his surprise he readied himself, and as it was close he swiveled his body under the sword as he reached for the handle.
As he grabbed it, he was pulled back the way it was heading 6 feet until he was able to bring it to a full stop. Naruto then planted the sword into the ground as he felt a Suigetsu's chakra signature change was cheery to sad, it seemed he was sad his "prank" failed yet again. The other seemed even more surprised, probably what he mused from his show of strength and speed. Naruto then called out and said,
"Alright Suigetsu, you failed again get out here."
A few seconds later a Suigetsu came out of the forest and into the clearing with a clearly depressed expression. (I am not going to describe him, because if you don't know who what he looks like then I don't know why you are reading this. He looks exactly like he did in Shippuden.) Suigetsu then said,
"Why Naruto, I was so close to getting you this time, why did you have to ruin my fun." If Naruto had to be honest with himself, Suigetsu was honestly weird, and crazy every time they met, he could be serious but only when it mattered. Naruto then sighed and said,
"You missed…again there is no point in trying, you miss every time…" Naruto then took the sword out of the ground and threw it back to Suigetsu. Suigetsu caught it "…and who gave you the Kubikiribocho, last I heard the demon of the mist had it." Naruto could see him visibly flinch at the name, Naruto could tell the man must have died, he had seen people flinch like that before when talking about someone who was close who died. Naruto then said,
"I am sorry for your lose." Suigetsu took the condolence by surprise, but he then remembered he was talking about Naruto fucking Uzumaki, the man was crazy smart and crazy good. Suigetsu nodded and then looked past Naruto where he saw 8 other shinobi ready to fight he voiced his question by saying,
"Hey what are they doing?" Naruto had to sweat drop from that, really he had just thrown the Kubikiribocho at them. Face palming, he looked at Suigetsu with an irritated look and said,
"I don't know maybe it was because you threw the Kubikiribocho at us." Suigetsu then preceded to scratch the back of his head. Naruto then said,
"You can all stop this idiot isn't going to do anything, that is just his form of saying, hello. And Suigetsu, you can call your companion I sense their chakra signature." His team seemed to get untensed as they saw the talks between the two. Suigetsu seemed to know that Naruto would feel the signature, nodding he seemed to make a sign and seconds later another ninja came out. From what Naruto could tell it looked to be female and what I could tell was a white Kiri Hunter-nin uniform and mask. Naruto then spoke and said,
"Who is this Suigetsu?" Suigetsu seemed to have a grin on his face as he said,
"This is my girlfriend, her name is…" but before he could finish Satsuki had said in surprise,
"Haku-chan?" The know named Haku took her mask off, nodded and said,
"Hello Satsuki-chan."
Author Note: Yes, Zabuza and Haku survived their encounter with Team 7 on the Wave mission, in the final fight, I am not going to write an all-out scene of what happened only explain it know. How the fight went like it did in the anime with Haku beating Satsuki but Kiba was there to fight her as well, but it didn't that much help since her jutsu she used in the anime destroyed the two, like the anime the Sharingan was also activated. The only big difference in the fight was Haku was able to save Zabuza from Kakashi and not have to sacrifice herself, then Gato survived and the three of Haku, Zabuza and Kakashi beat the men he brought. Haku and Zabuza then left shortly after where they joined up with the rebellion in Kiri. How Zabuza died will be explained in the next chapter. Anyway Ja ne.
