Chapter 9-Rally
Even though most villains & dark creatures are so dark and cruel, that they are sent to the Netherworld if they end up dying in their attempts to harm others, the ones who live are condemned to live out the remainder of their days by being punished for what they did to the heroes & heroines, and when they pass on they will forever remain imprisoned in the Netherworld.
The wind and rain battered against the walls of the once grand chateau, as the once grand & formal Lady Tremaine stared grimly out of the window, her hands lazily soaping the dishes as she focused all of her hatred on one person: Cinderella. Sweet & innocent little Cinderella.
Because of that wench, instead of living a life in the lap of luxury with her two daughters in the palace of Auritesia, here she was scrubbing the congealed oats of bowls from yesterday's porridge. It was an embarrassment to show how far she had fallen. To make things even worse, Anastasia had a "change of heart", and run off with some lowly baker in the name of true love. Eurrgh. At least Druzilla stayed by her, but what a fat load of good she was. Unmarried, childless and nearing her early thirties. At this rate, she would never get her married off. Whatsmore, the debt collector was coming in the morning to foreclose on the house and then God knows what she & Druzilla would do?
Starving, penniless & left to rot on the harsh streets. And all because of a measly little orphan. How she wished she could wring that Cinderella's filthy little neck, she wished out loud, spitting out the last syllable as if it were poison. She would make her pay; oh one day she would make her pay.
"I want to see her soul crushed & shattered into little pieces", muttered Tremaine. "I can help you with that", whispered a smooth silky voice. Tremaine looked around but saw nothing but thin air. "I know how you feel", the voice whispered again apparently out of nowhere. "The heroes always get the happy ending, we never do. Is it fair? No, but that's the way it always is and that's the way it always has to be right? But what if we don't want to be humiliated, outcast or imprisoned anymore? What if we want to win for a change? What if we want to crush them like bugs and make them feel how we feel? Now it's our turn for a happy ending".
Tremaine could feel the strain in her neck from struggling to see where the voice was coming from. "Who are you?" she breathed out, her voice a mix of frustration & anticipation. To her surprise, the voice answered back. "Over here ". Tremaine turned around to find that the owner of the voice was sitting with long slender legs crossed over each other. Her heart-shaped face was framed by golden curls reaching her shoulders, and two cat-like eyes glinted with a bright hypnotic green. She was dressed in a floor length black dress with lace her voluptuous figure.
"I know who you are and what that nasty little Cinderella did to you. How she humiliated you & your family, forced you to become a servant in your own home and not even help you when you & your daughter are facing dire poverty", smiled the women. "How?" asked Tremaine now doubtful of her proposal. The women uncrossed her legs & jumped to the floor. "By getting what you long for most in the world: Revenge. I know someone who will be more than willingly to help you. All we ask for in return is your ever-lasting allegiance. Now do we have a deal/", she said as she extended a hand towards Tremaine. Tremaine hesitantly looked at her hand, before whispering," Can you make her disappear forever?" The women leaned over gently & responded: "We can make her suffer so much more than that". Apparently satisfied, Tremaine smiled a wicked but happy smile and shook the stranger's hand.
Tremaine rushed up the stairs, her frayed and patched skirt snagging on her heels in her haste. Her feet pounded along the faded carpet, and she burst through the door leading to Druzilla's room. Instead of washing the inside of the windows like she was supposed to, Druzilla was idly staring out of the windows as the last few remaining soap bubbles popped in mid-air.
"Druzilla", Tremaine said catching her daughter's attention. Druzilla lazily turned round and asked a tired: "What?"
"I have found a way that will allow us to enact our revenge on precious little Cinderella, as well as knocking some much needed sense into Anastasia as well". Upon hearing this apparently wonderful news, Druzilla's eyes and mouth smiled wickedly, as her mother told her of the deal she had made, and the impending doom of Cinderella.
But it was not just Tremaines who had made a deal with the devil. All of the still-living villains at that time were more than eager to wreak havoc on the heroes & heroines of Fantasia.
The mysterious woman had travelled far & wide to reach those who felt wronged & desperately longed for someone to pay for it.
The sun had risen high over Neverland, and was shining down on a very frustrated captain and an equally scared crew. Peter Pan and the Lost Boys had run rings around them for the third time that week, and had stolen all of their food supplies for the next month. Blame amongst the crew shifted from the cabin boy to the first mate, as their captain silently fumed in his quarters plotting revenge against Pan for what he hoped was the last time.
Hook sat fuming at his desk, his thoughts focused intently on his revenge rather than on what the crew was going to do for that nights dinner. Little did he know however, he was not alone in his captain's quarters, as a voice more mischievous than Tinkerbell gently whispered in his ear. "I can make all of your problems go away."
Several hours later, after hushed discussions and deals made behind closed doors, Hook emerged from his quarters with a smirk of triumphant on his face rather than a look of absolute anger. Regardless, his crew braced themselves in case of any near-by objects suddenly became airborne, or the captain decided to give Tick-Tock a mid-morning snack.
"Men, I have found a solution to all of your problems", Hook proclaimed waving his fist in the air. "It is a way that will bring an end to Peter Pan and the Lost boys for good, a way that will allow us to even rage vengeance on that meddlesome Wendy and her brothers. We can even get rid of the crocodile at the same time".
This announcement was met with a series of cheers and whoops as the crew clapped their hands , threw their hats in the air, and day-dreamed about their nearing chance for revenge.
"Prepare the ship men, we are going somewhere faraway from here".
"Where would that be captain?", asked a timid voice.
"Fantasia ", replied Hook as he gently stroked his hook with a wicked gleam in his eye.
