As you remember last time, our heroes had landed on the planet Teeneton in search for the next gem. The planet was revealed to be inhabitated by cute, fuzzy alien creatures, who turned out to not be as innocent as they appeared to be. They captured Bullwinkle and took him to their leader, Lord Teenaton to be sacrificed. Rocky and the others snuck into the cave the Teenetons were taking Bullwinkle to, and saw that their master, Lord Teenaton was about to strike the moose with a very sharp knife. It looked like Bullwinkle was down for the count, when all of a sudden...

BANG!

The knife was shot with a laser beam and it hit the cave's wall.

"WHO DID THAT?!" Lord Teenaton growled.

The Teenatons turned around to see Rocky, Mr. Peabody, Sherman, Gidney, Cloyd, and Quisp facing them.

"Get away from him you fuzz buckets!" Cloyd exclaimed.

"Nice line Uncle Cloyd." Sherman said to Cloyd.

"Yes, I got that from our new galactic cable hookup channel show, Norblun 5: Return of the Stars." Cloyd said.

"Don't just stand there you idiots!" Lord Teenaton shouted "GET THEM!"

The Teenatons charged towards our heroes, ready to battle them. Meanwhile, Rocky and Mr. Peabody went to Bullwinkle and untied him using their natural chewing abilities.

"Thanks Rocky, thanks Mr. Peabdoy." Bullwinkle said "You guys really came through for me."

"It was nothing Bullwinkle." Peabody said.

"Now let's get to kicking some Teenaton bahookey!" Bullwinkel boasted.

And with some quick wit and dodging skills, our heroes engaged in fearless battle and Sherman's new anti gravity device against the fluffy aliens. They used all their skills and battle techniques to fight off the Teenatons. However, the Teenatons had skills too, they used their ninja skills to fend off against our heroes. Luckily just at the last minute, the Teenatons were severly scrooched.

"They should be unscrootched in about one Grepleg." Cloyd said "Which as I said in a previous chapter, 64 Earth years."

"Phew, that was a close one." Rocky sighed.

"Yeah, I could've gotten a blister from that." Peabody scratched his ear.

"We're saved Mr. Peabody!" Sherman hugged Peabody "We're saved!"

Peabody pulled Sherman away "That'll do Sherman, that'll do."

"If there's one thing I've learned from here it's that you should never trust a fluffy, cute alien." Bullwinkle said "Otherwise, they'd try to use you as a sacrifice."

"Close enough." Peabody rolled his eyes.

Just then, Sherman noticed something on Lord Teenaton's now scrooched septar. It was a big, shiny jewel.

"Look guys!" Sherman said "On the king's staff, it's the jewel we need."

"Excellent eye Sherman." Quisp said "Let's get it."

And with some quick thinking, Quisp grabbed the septar and our heroes went back through the portal and back to Christine's observatory.

"We found the next gem Princess." Rocky showed Christine the gem.

"Excellent job Rocky." The Princess said "You are really proving yourselves worthy heroes. Now, you must get the last gem if you and your friends want to get them home."

"We'll be ready for anything Princess!" Bullwinkle saluted.

"Then you'd better go, there's no time to waste." Christine said.

When the others were on their way to the last portal with Christine's henchmen leading them, Rocky had a few questions to ask Christine

"Before we go Princess, why are you the guardian of the cosmos?" Rocky asked Christine. "Why are you up here?"

"When I was a little girl, I spotted a rusted spaceship fallen down from the sky. That was the day I met Thompson and Mitchell, they were just little babies, they crash landed and lost their way home while searching for their mother." She explained "I offered to help them find their mother and home planet. We searched for days and days, but didn't find anything. I cared for them with as much motherly love as possible and I felt like a mother for the first time in my life. Then, one day I started missing my own home and started crying. But I know she's not there! Because...she's dead!"

Christine started to cry and sob into her own hands. Rocky felt very sympathetic.

"Christine, you still have Mitchell and Thompson!" The plucky squirrel said to Christine "And don't be sad about your mother, because she's a part of you! That means she's always close by!"

Christine started to smile at Rocky.

"You're right Rocky. This is my family now, and I will stay with them until they're ready to leave the nest. And when they do leave, I'll see them off with a smile. Because that's what makes a mother happiest." Christine said with tears of joy and sadness.

"Rocky!" Bullwinkle called out "Come on! We gotta get to the next planet and get the last gem!"

"Coming Bullwinkle." Rocky called back.

And without further ado, Rocky and his friends jumped into the next portal and were ready for the final planet to journey to.
