Lisanna pov this time, yay!

Chapter ten: in which there's finally a real battle

Lo picked at the food on her plate. She piled it onto her fork and shot it across the table.

Lisanna scowled at her. "Don't do that, you aren't a five year old," she snapped rudely. Her body was still recovering, and it made her temper shorter than usual. But the cause of her anger was this thing possessing her friend. It was hard to believe she had harbored it only a day ago.

"You don't know that," she stuck out its tongue and laughed. "I really like how both you and blondie made up names for me in replacement! Peas of a pod."

Lisanna scowled in reply and turned away, a gnawing feeling of worry slowing eating at her. It had been a full day and Lucy hadn't appeared at all. Lisanna remembered clearly that when she was possessed, she gained control every few hours. Was it getting stronger?

There was a clink and Lisanna snapped around, recognizing the familiar sound of Lucy's keys, which Lo was examining.

"Huh," she flipped it around. The golden zodiac key flickered brightly. It was Loke's, and he seemed to sense there was something wrong with Lucy. Lisanna bit her lip in worry, causing the metallic taste of blood to fill her mouth.

"Shoulda tried this sooner," Lo muttered, then held out the key. "Open, gate of the lion! Leo!" The key shone and Leo appeared in a dazzle of blinding light. He stared at Lo, then at Lisanna, who he approached to Lo's dismay.

"What's wrong with her?" He asked. "Her magic feels off…"

"She's being possessed, w—calm down!" Lisanna yelped, seeing Loke's expression. He shook his head and pushed up his glasses. "Sorry. It just boils my blood to think that anyone is hurting my precious Lucy!"

"Shut up, Leo," Lo snapped. Loke turned, a hateful look on his face. Lo smirked at him. "See, this is what I'm talking about. Almost all the zodiac beings, under my control!" She stood up, key in hand. "Leo, punch Natsu. Preferably in the face. Ah, also, no speaking." Leo's eyes widened but he stiffly walked across the room towards the fire Mage. Lisanna watched as he unsteadily raised his fist and swung it into Natsu's jaw, sending him across the room. He stiffly walked back as Natsu sat up, looking indignant. Lo laughed, a cold laugh that didn't fit Lucy.

"Perfect, perfect," Lo smiled sweetly after she had calmed. "Now, Leo…kill Wendy."

"Wendy? Why Wendy?" Lisanna screeched, sitting up straight as the words left Lo's mouth. "Because I want to test Leo's strength," Lo explained. "I'd like to off Erza or Natsu, but they're really strong. Wendy is perfect. Small and kinda weak, just right for Leo."

Lisanna stared. "You can't! That's so wrong!" She stood up and rushed over to Wendy, but was stopped as someone wrapped their arms around her stomach. "Please punish me after," came Virgo's hollow voice, flooded with guilt. "Princess who is not princess made me." She looked to the ground bitterly.

"Wendy! Run!" Lisanna yelled across the room, struggling against the tough maid. There was a brawl already in progress, and her words seemed lost in the crowd. But Wendy turned away from Charla to look at Lisanna in confusion, and away from the approaching Loke. The Strauss frantically waved her hands and yelled at her, to no avail.

Wendy's scream tore across the room as she hit the wall.

"Wendy!" Natsu shouted, leaping up. "You fiend!" Erza cried, drawing a sword. Loke ignored them, closing in on the cowering girl.

He raised his fists again, striking down on her. Wendy attempted to stand and run, but he kicked her knee and with a yelp she crumpled. He raised his fists for a third time and was met with a tunnel of wind as Wendy yelled, "Roar of the sky dragon!"

Erza and Natsu jumped on him as he hit the back wall. They pinned him to the ground. Loke struggled angrily. "Why did you attack Wendy?" Erza demanded, drawn sword pointed at his throat. She had one foot pressed into his chest. Loke said nothing. "This isn't funny, Loke!" Erza snapped, whipping her blade down his arm. A spot of blood swelled and flooded over. Loke bared his teeth at the knight.

"It's not him!" Lisanna cried. "Lo did this! She's controlling him!" Lo muttered something and Virgo clamped a hand over Lisanna's mouth. Erza and Natsu looked up. "Sorry Loke," Erza nodded to the zodiac leader. "But I'm not moving."

"Open, gate of the twins, Gemini," Lo said calmly, waving another key around. A jet of light spilled everywhere and Gemini appeared. "Copy Leo and save him," Lo sneered. Gemini obliged silently, floating over to Leo. Mini touched his arm and a duplicate of Leo appeared. The dupe kicked Erza in the face, startling both Erza and Natsu.

Using Natsu's surprise, Leo grabbed his arm and twisted, making the boy yelp in surprise. Leo quickly jumped up and blasted Natsu with light, immobilizing him. Meanwhile, Gemini distracted Erza, hopping around the knight and dodging her attacks. Leo glanced around and staggered toward Wendy. Wendy backed away, eyes wide.

The lion stumbled and looked down. A block of ice had incased his foot. He yanked it out and continued forward. Gray shot another blast of ice at him, but he dodged it and it caught Cana in the face, who fell over backwards behind the bar. Leo turned to gray, who was charging up another blast. He rushed forward to the ice Mage and drove his alit fist into gray's stomach, sending him across the room.

Lisanna cursed Mira for leaving with Elfman to go get supplies…and Gajeel was with levy! This wasn't good at all.

Wendy scampered around the room, Charla flying after her. Leo raced after them, a grimace on his face. He took a sharp left and cut across the room, cutting Wendy off. The girl gasped and spun a 180°, Charla scooping her up and into the air. Lo's expression's darkened and she called to Leo to blast the girl and damn cat out of the air and finish the job, you stupid puppet!

Loke hesitated momentarily then started to use blasts of regulus at Wendy and Charla. In return, Wendy cast a spell and made Charla faster and herself lighter.

Lisanna frowned. Everyone was going after Loke, but Lo was giving the commands. If she could just…

Wendy screamed as an attack landed and she crashed headfirst into the ground. Leo turned at started at her, but suddenly she disappeared. Everyone turned to see jet holding her. Leo raised his hand and shot jet across the room. He dropped Wendy and Leo fired another shot at her before she could hit the ground.

Lo glanced up at the ceiling. "Ah! I didn't think of this before…Leo, shield!"

A light surrounded Leo and suddenly no one could touch him. Lisanna glanced at Lo and realized she had never seen Lucy do anything like that. A suddenly fear turned her blood to ice.

Leo was upon Wendy. Wendy was breathing heavy, struggling to get to her knees. She choked, and scarlet blood dripped to the ground. Leo fired another attack at her. And another. The girl's screams filled the air. Everyone pounded uselessly at the force field around Loke. Lisanna's eyes swelled with tears. No… she thought, starting to thrash against Virgo. No, it's not allowed to be like this…

"Leo! Forced closure! Virgo, forced closure! Gemini, forced closure!"

The iron grip around Lisanna faded. She turned to stare at Lo, who was standing up, a bright flame of anger and worry burning in her eyes—and realized it wasn't Lo, it was Lucy.

"Wendy! Wendy I'm so sorry!" And in a second, the blonde was by the girl, holding her up. Wendy whimpered and closed her eyes. "No! Okay let's get you in the infirmary, careful…" Lucy disappeared behind the door.

Lisanna followed her in. "Lucy?"

Lucy looked up at Lisanna, eyes wide. "Lisanna, we have to stop this."

Oo fight scenes!

(P.s: I suck at them.)

Ahem, yes, Loke seems a little overpowered because Lo/Anna/whatever you want to called it/her is powerful. I think I saw somewhere that celestial mages push magic into who they call, which explains why using them is so taxing. Whether it was a fan idea or not, idk, but I'm following it now.
