This chapter is short since I have to focus on school for the last week. So no new chapters for the next few days.
Also, this chapter might feel a bit rushed. So sorry in advance as well.
Another thing is that I REALLY need to focus on my other fanfictions while I'm at it. Seriously, it's been almost two months since I've updated them. I don't want to disappoint the readers of those fanfictions.
Dante's POV
Vale - Devil May Cry
1:30 PM
Dante, now back from doing numerous missions, kicked his door open once again and started walking in.
"Alright...17 missions down...something more to go." Dante said. "Let's see what's left."
He walked towards his phone once more and pressed the "Message" button.
"No messages available." The phone said.
"Really? That's all?" Dante said, prompting him to sigh a bit. "Well, I guess there's always tomorrow…"
Now with nothing else to do, Dante decided to just relax for the rest of the day. Pulling out the Lien he has received throughout the last missions, Dante started counting each bill.
"Okay...100, 200, 300, 400, 600, 1000…" Dante mumbled.
He continued counting the stash until he was finally done with the stash.
"That's about 4000 worth in profits." Dante mumbled. "Man, I'm already reaching past my renting rate. On the first few days nonetheless. Heh...this is quite a record."
Just as Dante said this, his stomach started grumbling a bit.
"And to celebrate, I think some grub could do." Dante said. "Now if I recall, Beacon had a nice pizza place I could go to…or perhaps..."
With the place in mind, Dante turned away from his desk and started walking out of his store.
Vergil's POV
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Mansion Entrance
1:40 PM
Walking around the city of Atlas a bit, Vergil eventually reached a pretty fancy looking mansion. According to his studies, this seemed to be the Schnee family mansion, which he knew was a huge contributor to Dust resources.
So to use this chance, Vergil wanted to see if he could steal from this specific mansion. Sure he could just steal from any basic Dust store, but it won't give him that much options when it comes to Dust.
Besides, the mansion always holds daily tours of the mansion, which is basically a free ticket for Vergil.
"So...this must be the mansion of the famous Schnee family…" Vergil thought. "Must be a goldmine for Dust…"
Looking around a bit, Vergil just saw a tour group walking towards the entrance. To blend in, Vergil teleported towards the group while making sure no one notices him.
"Now that we have everyone here, we can finally continue on with the tour." The tour guide said.
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Mansion
1:50 PM
Now with the tour group, Vergil was able to enter the Schnee Mansion.
He took a quick glance at the mansion halls and saw numerous things. Fancy side tables. Glass displays full of Dust Crystals. Paintings of former Schnee members. Numerous things that were owned by the Schnee family.
Vergil continued looking at these things while the tour guide started talking about the things he was looking at.
"If you look to your right, you can see one of the first Schnee family members, Nicholas Schnee. He is also known as the founder of this company." The tour guide said. "Now if you follow me here..."
As the tour guide started rambling on, Vergil started slowly straying away from the tour group. He then entered through the nearest door and tried looking around a bit.
Using the map pamphlet he was able to steal from one of the tour members, Vergil started traversing through the mansion a bit.
"They make this way too easy…" Vergil said while looking at the pamphlet. "So let's see…"
The map was actually pretty detailed. But to not encourage anyone to stray away, it only showed a map to the first floor, instead of other floors like the second floor or possibly the basement. But with only the first floor map, Vergil was able to pinpoint his current location.
"If I recall from the tour, they said that the Schnee mansion holds numerous warehouses just outside the perimeter." Vergil thought. "Maybe that's where they hold all their Dust…"
Placing the map in his coat pocket, Vergil left the room and started sneaking around the hallways.
Vergil exited the room he was hiding in and started walking down the halls. He took out the map out of his pocket and looked at his current position. Telling from his position right now, Vergil was near the back of the mansion.
All of a sudden, Vergil started hearing voices and footsteps down the hall. He turned towards the nearest room, closed the door, and started listening through it until the noise passed him.
He heard only two distinct voices from the other side.
"Klein...are the shipments in yet?" Voice 1 asked.
"No sir." Voice 2 responded. "But they should arrive at the warehouse in the back in the next half hour."
"Very well. Once the warehouse receives the shipments, see if you could ship some remaining Dust to Ironwood." Voice 1 said.
"Should I also move some Dust towards the basement vault?" Voice 2 asked.
"As always." Voice 1 responded.
"Very well sir." Voice 2 said before being followed by a pair of footsteps.
After that small conversation, Vergil just heard numerous footsteps that started dissipating in sound, as if they were moving away from his location. To make sure they were gone, Vergil slowly opened the door, only to see no one in the hallway.
"The mansion has a vault I see...in the basement out of all places." Vergil thought. "A bit cliche...but no matter."
Vergil closed the door behind him and started walking down the hallway.
"But before I could visit that, I guess it's best to check out the warehouse first…" Vergil thought while heading towards the exit.
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Warehouse
2:10 PM
Using the map to guide him to the warehouse, Vergil eventually reached the entrance.
The warehouse was huge. Definitely bigger than the warehouse he and Dante blew up back in Vale. Besides the size, it was more refined, and it had the Schnee logo on top of the garage door.
"This is it." Vergil said.
Getting Yamato ready, Vergil walked towards the door and slowly opened it.
He entered the warehouse, only to see two Atlas soldiers standing right in front of him. But to take care of them, Vergil equipped Beowulf and punched both of them in the face, knocking them out in the process.
Slowly putting Beowulf away, Vergil dragged their bodies away from plain sight. Hiding behind one of the shipping crates present in the warehouse, Vergil got a quick glance on what he could see so far.
125 soldiers. 400 Shipping crates, presumably filled with Dust.
Knowing that's way too much to take care of without causing some sort of uproar, Vergil decided to just sneak past them and grab as much Dust crystals as he could.
Vergil opened the crate he was hiding behind with Yamato, only to see numerous Fire Crystals slide down the floor. Grabbing about four crystals, Vergil placed them in his coat pocket and started teleporting above the crate.
"How boring…" Vergil thought.
Dante's POV
Vale - Knead Pizza?
2:30 PM
Dante, after roaming around Vale for almost one hour, finally found the pizza place he was thinking about.
"It's about damn time I found this place." Dante said while approaching the cashier.
"Hello. Do you need some pizza for today?" The cashier asked.
"Okay...puns aside, I'll have a large pepperoni pizza." Dante said.
"Alright. That'll be 9 Lien." The cashier said, prompting Dante to slide in 10 Lien. Putting the cash in the cash register, the cashier gave Dante his change. "Your pizza will be done in 10 minutes."
"Of course…" Dante said. "You have anything else that I could eat for the past time?"
"We have fries, chicken wings, chicken bites, onion rings, pasta, panzerottis, and your basic choices of soda." The cashier said.
"Any dessert?" Dante asked.
"Sir...we don't have desserts." The cashier said. "If you want desserts, I could point you to the ice cream store right beside us."
"Well thanks for your efforts…" Dante scoffed.
A bit agitated, Dante turned away from the cashier and exited the pizza store.
"Papa Johns had desserts…" Dante thought. "Why can't this place have it?"
Vale - Ice Cream Store
2:40 PM
Just as Dante left the pizza store, he entered the ice cream store just next to it.
"Now this better have what I'm thinking right now…" Dante said while walking towards the cashier.
"How may I help you?" The cashier asked.
"Do you have sundaes?" Dante asked.
"Why yes we do!" The cashier answered. "We have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry–"
"I'll take a strawberry sundae." Dante said without hesitation.
"Well...alright." The cashier said. "That'll be 2 Lien."
Without any further hesitation, Dante slammed 2 Lien on the counter.
"Here." Dante said.
"Um...thanks?" The cashier said while turning away from the counter.
Walking towards one of the machines behind him, the cashier started making a sundae for Dante. He then grabbed some strawberries from the bottom fridge, chopped them up, and placed them in a small bowl beside the glass cup of ice cream scoops. And one by one, the cashier placed the strawberry slices on the cup of ice cream.
And with that, the sundae was done. It was beautiful in Dante's eyes. One scoop of vanilla. One scoop of chocolate. Five slices of strawberries. And even dipped in sweet syrup. It was a dream come true.
"One strawberry sundae finished." The cashier said. "Here's your spoon."
"Thanks." Dante said while taking the cup. "About time I got a chance to eat these things."
Sitting on one of the tables, Dante started eating his strawberry sundae. Just taking one bite, Dante could taste how good it was.
"Ah...now that hits the spot." Dante thought.
Dante continued eating his strawberry sundae, savouring the taste of every single spoonful. Though while he was eating his sundae, he heard the entrance bell ring, as if someone was entering the store.
He would've just glossed it over as if it was just some random customer. But what caught his attention were the voices of these people. Looking up, it was none other than Team RWBY themselves. However, even though Dante was able to notice them, it looked like RWBY didn't notice him.
Once RWBY finally ordered their desserts, Yang started approaching Dante's booth.
"Alright...I'll go save us a spot." Yang said while running to Dante's booth, not knowing that Dante was in it due to his head being blocked by the diner seat.
Just running towards the table, Yang slammed her hand as if she was gaining possession over it. But just as she did this, Dante just glared at her for a moment.
"Sorry...but this seat is taken Yang." Dante said.
Looking at Yang's face, Dante just saw it turn from confused to shocked.
"Oh! Dante! Didn't expect to see you here out of all places." Yang said.
"I could say the same." Dante said.
"Is it alright if my team could sit here?" Yang asked.
"Sure. Go ahead." Dante said.
"Thanks." Yang said.
Yang proceeded to slide inside the booth with her vanilla sundae at hand. Just as Yang sat down in the seat, Dante just heard Ruby calling out for Yang. But to respond to this, Yang just waved her hand into the air, as if she was telling Ruby where she was sitting.
"I'm over here!" Yang said.
Dante heard three pairs of footsteps approaching right behind him. This was none other than Ruby, Weiss, and Blake.
"Hey! You found a seat." Ruby said.
"And I found a friend!" Yang said while pointing at Dante.
"Oh! Hey Dante!" Ruby greeted. "Didn't expect to–"
"See you here. I've heard that already." Dante said. "What are you guys doing here? Don't you guys have school?"
"Well, we did. But we only had one class today." Yang said.
"And it was a pretty quick class." Ruby said. "So we decided to just visit Vale a bit."
"Ah...and how was this quick class?" Dante asked.
Ruby's face went from excited to a bit downhearted. Not only that, but Ruby just glared at Weiss for a moment.
"Yeesh...something bad already happened on the first day?" Dante asked.
"You could put it like that…" Yang said.
"Okay. Talk to me." Dante said while leaning towards his sundae.
"It's kind of hard of explain." Ruby said. "For starters–"
"It's about the leader role of our team." Weiss said. "I just thought that I deserve it more than Ruby."
"But–" Ruby said.
"I know we talked about this already, but I just wanted to point that out." Weiss said.
Dante, just hearing Ruby and Weiss bicker even more, just rolled his eyes and started eating his sundae.
"But on a more important note, did you guys at least settle this issue?" Dante asked.
"Kind of?" Ruby asked.
"So what's your whole opinion on this?" Weiss asked.
"I'm...not good at these kinds of things. I'm a Grimm hunter, not some shrink you guys could go to." Dante said. "But here's my opinion on this…"
Ruby and Weiss just moved in closer just to hear Dante's opinion. Taking a deep breath, Dante pointed towards Ruby.
"What?!" Weiss said.
Just as Dante said this, Weiss just looked at Dante with an angry look on her face. While Weiss just looked at Dante, he just nonchalantly raised his hands, as if he tried keeping his distance away from her.
"Now before you rage at me, let me explain." Dante said. "First of all Ice Queen, you get agitated really fast. You may boast that you're better in battle, but what's the point of fighting when you can't even keep your personality in check. And trust me, I've seen you in Beacon's initiation. Most of the time, you were too busy whining at Ruby."
Weiss can't help but glare at Dante for saying that. But just thinking about it for a bit, Dante kind of had a point.
"And me?" Ruby asked.
"Kid...I don't know what to say." Dante said. "You may act immature, but there's a type of charm to it that makes it not a detriment to your team."
"I beg to differ…" Weiss scoffed.
"But there's a main idea to this." Dante said. "Guys...this is only the first day. Just stop whining about this and just continue eating your goddamn sundaes. Seriously, it's melting all over the table!"
Weiss and Ruby's brows raised up and their eyes looked down at the table, only to see that their sundaes were indeed melting.
"Oh!" Ruby said. "Forgot about that."
Grabbing her spoon, Ruby started eating her strawberry sundae as fast as she could. At the same time, Weiss started eating her vanilla sundae. But unlike Ruby, she was a bit hesitant to eat it after what Dante said.
"Besides, there's probably a reason why Ozpin made you leader Ruby." Dante said while getting out of his seat.
"You're leaving already?" Ruby asked.
"But we just started talking to you." Yang asked.
"Don't worry. I'll be back." Dante said. "I just need to get my pizza next door. I'll bring it here so we can continue talking."
"Okay!" Ruby said while Dante got out of his seat.
With that, Dante exited the ice cream store and started heading to the pizza store.
Weiss' POV
Vale - Ice Cream Store
2:50 PM
With Dante gone, Ruby just looked back at Weiss.
"You alright Weiss?" Ruby asked.
"What? Yeah...everything's...fine." Weiss said while eating her sundae. "Just weird to hear another person talk about my personality besides Port again…"
"So...are you still–" Ruby asked.
"No. I'm not mad anymore. Well, not as mad." Weiss said.
"Alright, that's good to hear." Ruby said.
Ruby continued eating her sundae while being a bit happy at Weiss' response. But while Ruby was too busy eating her sundae, Weiss' face went a bit down for a moment.
"Man...what I did back there was so stupid…" Weiss thought. "Port and Dante have a point. Maybe there's a reason why Ozpin chose Ruby."
Vergil's POV
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Basement
3:00 PM
After exiting out of the warehouse, Vergil made his way back to the Schnee mansion and started sneaking his way through until he finally reached the basement.
Since there was a breach in the warehouse, the mansion started increasing its security by locking all doors, windows, and even call in a dozen Atlas soldiers to guard all the exits.
Luckily, Vergil was able to make it in before any of that was installed.
Reaching the basement, Vergil just saw a huge hallway ahead of him. Like the hallways on the main floor, it had numerous rooms from left to right. But looking down the hall even more, Vergil saw a gigantic vault at the end. Like any stereotypical vault, it had two Atlas Soldiers guarding the door while having at least two security cameras over them.
Unsheathing Yamato, Vergil swung it towards the two cameras. Slowly sheathing Yamato, the two cameras was sliced into two, shocking the two soldiers. While they were too busy looking at the cameras, Vergil dashed in and punched them straight in the face with Beowulf, knocking them out in the process.
"So...this must be the so-called vault that holds the Schnee's most prized possessions…" Vergil thought. "Only thing that matters is the Dust. Nothing else…"
Equipping Beowulf, Vergil rested his fist on the door. Taking a deep breath, Vergil thrusted his fist forward, similar to a one-inch punch. Due to the sheer amount of force, he was able to blow the door open.
"Now what's inside here?" Vergil asked.
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company "Secret" Vault
3:05 PM
Vergil entered the vault and took a glance at his surroundings. Of course, he didn't know what he was expecting.
He saw numerous things. Dust. Lien. And even more things he's probably familiar with, even though he didn't care about any of these things.
Glancing at the Dust, Vergil saw different types of crystals than the ones from the warehouse. Steam. Gravity. Earth. Cyan-coloured. Orange-coloured. Powdered capsules. And more.
It was also convenient that all of these things were in little bags that Vergil could just carry with him.
"Again they make it too easy." Vergil muttered.
Well, not exactly.
Just standing up from the Dust collection, Vergil heard numerous guns loading right behind him.
"So...you must be the so-called intruder." A voice said behind Vergil.
He turned towards the voice, only to see a white haired man with a white mustache, while wearing a whole set of white clothing. Telling from the pictures he saw in the hall, it looked like this man was a Schnee, presumably the one who owns this mansion.
"Do you have any idea what the heck you're doing?" The man said. "Even a smart person would know not to rob from one of the richest households in the world."
Just standing behind him was at least three Atlas soldiers with their rifles up. Seeing this, Vergil just slowly approached them,
"I wouldn't move if I were you…" The man said.
"Stand where you are!" Soldier 1 demanded.
"You are under arrest for robbery, assault, and property damage." Soldier 2 said.
"Stand down, or we have to go by force!" Soldier 3 said.
Hearing all of these threats, Vergil can't help but smirk at their efforts. But at the same time, he was a bit annoyed at their presence.
"Now that you're here…" Vergil said. Saying this, Vergil proceeded to pull out a Wind Dust Crystal out of his pocket. "I guess I could test this out a bit."
Resting the crystal on his palm, Vergil tried putting pressure on it. The more pressure he placed on it, the more Vergil got surrounded by an odd looking aura.
"What are you doing!?" Soldier 1 screamed.
"Stop this instant!" Soldier 2 said. "Or we'll fire!"
Ignoring their demands, Vergil continued absorbing the Dust through his willpower alone. Finally crushing the crystal, a wind-like aura started surrounding his body.
"FIRE!" Soldier 1 said.
The three soldiers started pulling the trigger of their rifles and started firing towards Vergil.
But with such ease, Vergil was able to pull out Yamato, unsheath it, and spin it around to catch every single bullet. He proceeded to catch every single bullet until the soldiers ran out of bullets. Using this opportunity, Vergil swung his Yamato towards the soldiers while throwing the bullets he caught, piercing them and damaging them severely.
Apparently, after Vergil absorbed the Wind Dust Crystal, his speed increased a bit. Even though it didn't severely increase his speed, it was still enough to be a noticeable difference.
With the three soldiers on the floor, Vergil just approached the white haired man, who was seen crawling back.
"Please don't hurt me." The man said.
"Then don't bar my path anymore…" Vergil said while kicking the man out of the way. "Talk about overconfident."
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Basement
3:10 PM
Stepping out of the vault, Vergil just saw numerous Atlas soldiers standing in front of him with their guns ready. Approximately 15 soldiers at most.
But with the enhancement he had, they didn't seem that big of a threat.
Before the soldiers could react or even say anything, Vergil dashed through each of them with Beowulf ready. Dashing to each soldier, Vergil proceeded to either punch them or roundhouse kick them straight in the face, knocking them out in the process.
For the last soldier, Vergil started punching them at such a fast rate thanks to the Wind Dust he absorbed, similar to Dante's Hyper Fist. After the huge barrage of punches, Vergil launched the soldier into the air with Rising Sun. So much so that the soldier actually bounced off the ceiling and came crashing back down.
"This is quite useful…" Vergil said while rotating one of his wrists. "I guess I'm done with this Kingdom for now…"
With nothing else to do, Vergil walked up the stairs and started exiting the mansion while cutting through any soldier that stands in his way.
Altas - Schnee Dust Company Mansion Entrance
3:12 PM
Kicking the door open with Beowulf, Vergil casually walked out of the mansion.
Two Atlas soldiers turned around and tried firing their rifles towards Vergil. But to no avail, Vergil just teleported right behind them and chopped both of the soldiers pressure points in their necks, knocking them out in the process.
Using the front part of his right foot, Vergil kicked the two soldier's hips and launched them straight towards another pair of soldiers that were right behind him, causing them to tumble on the floor. Teleporting towards them, Vergil punched the ground and knocked out the two soldiers, similar to Dante's Volcano ability.
"...I better get out of Atlas before it goes into lockdown…" Vergil thought. "I best get a Bullhead."
Grabbing another Wind Crystal out of his pocket, Vergil crushed it and started absorbing some Dust, increasing his speed a bit once more. Activating Devil Trigger, Vergil started running towards the docking bay as fast as he could. His Devil Trigger, plus the small speed boost from the Wind Dust he absorbed made him run and teleport at such a fast rate, no one was able to notice him.
Vergil was fast. Fast enough to be faster than the eye could see; not fast enough to make a tailwind however.
Atlas - City
3:13 PM
Vergil continued running down numerous Atlas alleyways that led back to the docking bay.
Passing through one alleyway specifically, Vergil just saw a few unconscious drunkards lying their backs onto the wall.
If he wanted to hide from Atlas a bit, Vergil knew what he had to do.
Deactivating Devil Trigger, Vergil knelt towards one of the drunkards and took his jacket and his hat. Once Vergil wore the old rugged trench coat over his blue coat, he swooped his white hair downwards, in a similar fashion to Dante. Putting on the dirty hat, Vergil started walking out of the alleyway as if nothing happen.
All of a sudden, the drunkard that he was just facing a few seconds ago woke up and noticed his hat and jacket were gone. Not only that, but he turned towards Vergil with an angry look on his face.
"HEY!" The drunkard said. "Give me back my–"
With one swing from Yamato, the drunkard was decapitated, leaving his bleeding corpse in the alleyway in the process. Sheathing Yamato, Vergil once again continued walking as if nothing happened.
"I guess I could use this time to hide in Vale…" Vergil thought. "Maybe in one of those warehouses…"
Dante's POV
Vale - Ice Cream Store
3:30 PM
Finishing up their second cups of sundaes and their second box of pizza, RWBY were stuffed. Dante on the other hand, he acted like he ate nothing. Sure, he was a bit full, but not to an extent compared to Team RWBY.
"You guys want another one?" Dante asked.
"Are you serious?!" Ruby asked. "That was our second box."
"I could go for one more." Dante said.
"I don't know about you, but two is a bit too much for us." Weiss said.
"If you say so…" Dante said. "Look, I think that's enough chatting for me."
"You're going?" Yang asked.
"Hey, this was basically my lunch break." Dante said. "I still have a job to do. The same could be said for you guys."
"Yeah, you're right…" Ruby said.
Dante slid out of the booth seat and started heading for the exit.
"Will we meet again?" Ruby asked.
"Of course." Dante said. "It's good to talk to people like you from time to time."
"Okay!" Ruby said.
"Hey Dante!" Yang said, prompting him to turn around.
"Yup?" Dante asked.
"Rematch some time in the future?" Yang asked.
"Heh, don't bet on it." Dante said while exiting the ice cream store.
RWBY's POV
Vale - Ice Cream Store
3:31 PM
Once Dante left, RWBY just looked at each as if they wanted to do the same thing.
"So...you guys want to go as well?" Ruby asked.
"Sure." Yang said.
"Eh…" Blake said.
"Fine…" Weiss said.
"Alright. Back to Beacon it is!" Ruby said while exiting the ice cream store.
Weiss, Blake, and Yang also exited the store and started following Ruby back to Beacon.
"Yang...what do you mean by rematch?" Ruby asked.
"Remember the time Dante knocked me out at the bar?" Yang asked.
"Oh...right. Forgot about that." Ruby said while internally facepalming. "Also Weiss…"
"Hm?" Weiss asked.
"You still think Dante's a Schnee?" Ruby asked.
"Look...I just don't know anymore…" Weiss muttered. "Maybe I could check the records back in Atlas once we have more free time. Though it would be a bit hard for me."
"Why?" Ruby asked.
"You don't want to know…" Weiss responded.
Ironwood's POV
Atlas - Schnee Dust Company Mansion Vault
3:40 PM
After the break in at the Schnee mansion, Ironwood gathered up some soldiers to investigate the situation at hand.
"Jacques, what happened here?" Ironwood asked.
"I...we were attacked by this man." Jacques said. "He had white hair–"
"Was he wearing a red coat?" Ironwood interrupted.
"No. He wore a blue coat." Jacques said. "But that's all I could help you with."
"Any idea where he went?" Ironwood asked.
"Not a single clue." Jacques said.
"I see…" Ironwood said. "Thanks for helping Jacques."
"Of course General…" Jacques nodded.
Turning away from Jacques, Ironwood turned towards one of his soldiers.
"Any casualties?" Ironwood asked.
"About a dozen. What's a bit surprising is that they have no open wounds. Looks like they were only knocked out." Soldier 1 responded. "So we don't have to worry about any death casualties."
"That's quite intriguing." Ironwood said. "What was stolen?"
"Just Dust. But it wasn't even a lot of Dust." Soldier 1 responded. "At least 100 Lien worth of Dust. So it could be replaced pretty easily."
"That's a plus." Ironwood said.
"Sir, should we contact Ozpin about this?" Soldier 1 asked.
"No. But if the situation gets dire, then we could." Ironwood responded.
"And that Grimm hunter back at Vale?" Soldier 1 asked while referring to Dante.
"...Indeed." Ironwood said. "Get a Bullhead ready for Vale."
"Understood." Soldier 1 said.
"If I recall...Oz said something about Dante's brother…" Ironwood thought. "If this person is Dante's brother, then we best be cautious. But where could he be?"
Vergil's POV
Skies of Beacon
3:40 PM
Sitting in one of the seats, Vergil just rested Yamato on his lap and watched as the Air Bus brought him to Vale.
"Vale...it's been a few days since I've been there." Vergil thought. "Let's see what else there is to learn…"
While Vergil was still thinking of this, he just heard a small announcement on the screen in front of him.
"This is an announcement from the Atlas Military." The intercom said.
The screen then showed a general, presumably of the Atlas Military.
"This is General Ironwood speaking." Ironwood said. "For those of you listening, this is a warning for all Kingdoms."
This caught Vergil's attention, prompting him to look at the screen attentively.
"A white haired man wearing a blue coat is now wanted for numerous crimes against the Kingdom of Atlas." Ironwood said. "If any of you guys think you see this individual, DO NOT APPROACH HIM. I repeat, DO NOT APPROACH HIM. Instead, inform any nearby authorities as soon as possible. Police. Atlas. Huntsman. Anyone. This is General Ironwood signing out."
With that said, the screen Ironwood was on immediately turned off. The citizens inside the Air Bus started talking amongst one another about this so called criminal.
On the other hand, Vergil was pretty nonchalant about it.
"So much for an easy day…" Vergil muttered.
And that's the end of this chapter. Once again, sorry for the short chapter and if it feels a bit rushed.
Review:
Shadow Joestar:
-Yeet
Locke Belmont:
-Yeah, it was kind of rushed since I had to get it out as soon as possible. But good job noticing.
SoNNeikO:
-He already used it a few chapters ago.
Darkness vx:
-IDK.
GoodHunter:
-Honestly, it could go either way. But for now, that's something the future will decide.
Greer123:
-Indeed it is.
Ultimate Kuuga:
-Maybe?
Desdelor97:
-Thanks. I appreciate it.
Andromeda:
-Maybe.
Byayan:
-MAGIC!
Vector15:
-Maybe.
Ghost Recon111:
-No it's okay. These long reviews are the kind of thing I like.
-I'm not sure about a time skip since I haven't really thought that far into the story. I'm still thinking of possible outcomes. So it's unlikely.
-Well, Dante being more fleshed out makes some sense because he has much more screen time compared to Vergil. So it's a bit easier to work with.
-Now a sequel with Nero in it would be a bit interesting. But the major problem is that I plan to do this fanfiction and finish it until RWBY is finished. And once RWBY is finished, there's nothing really else to do afterwards. There wouldn't really be anything to follow up on and it would just revolve around boring amounts of filler.
But I like the idea.
Guest:
-Maybe?
Guest:
-No. This is not meant to be a romance fanfiction. I have no plans for any romance. Heck, Devil May Cry doesn't seem like the kind of series to have a fully fleshed out relationship. Besides, I like focusing on action rather than stuff like this.
Personal preference. But that's just me.
Also, off topic, but I just want to say this.
For those of you who know what Death Battle is, stay a bit.
The next Death Battle is going to be Vergil (Devil May Cry) vs Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7)
What's my opinion on this?
Look, as much as I like Vergil, he's going to lose this. Sephiroth is way too strong for him.
If Vergil wins, sweet. But I highly doubt that.
Not going to explain why Sephiroth would win since that would be WAY too long, but just know that my money is on him instead of Vergil.
Sorry Vergil.
