German's pov
" Ash can you stop that please!" I tell my friend who is whining about how long it is to the next gym. " but I am so bore German." he told me in a whining tone. I shook my head at him and tune him out by listen to some music on my Ipod.
I thought about how the last week been crazy, we encounter a band of Squirtles who were local troublemakers who were abandon by their trainers until they become the local firefighter after they help put out a fire. Though our first meeting was when we all fell into a pit they dig and then taunted us.
Then team Rocket comes in with a other plan to steal pokemon, the Squirtles also held us hostage with Pikachu badly but they allow Ash to get medicine from town and with the Squirtle squad help send Team Rocket packing but they started the fire which was put out in the end.
And oh the Squirtle squad leader decides to join us as Ash's new pokemon. Then Ash caught a Krabby after Misty insults him on how he never caught his pokemon since they willing went with him. I told Misty she is wrong and point out he caught buttertree when it was in its first stage and Pidgeotto back on our first day together.
She looked down at her feet embarrassed and I went after Ash. The others joined me and we found Ash plus a lighthouse. Also found a researcher name Bill who was dress in a pokemon costume or maybe a research project that we helped get off.
We got a long but helpful lecture from him on pokemon and Ash learn there are 150 pokemon in Kanto with many others in different regions. Afterwards we are back on our way to my and Ash next gym with Ash now surprising asking me and Giselle to teach him more about pokemon.
Ash already knows a lot of the basic but needs someone to go over the basic with him again and explain them in better details to him.
Me and Giselle did this and also had more practice battles with him. As we grew closer to Vermilion city our practice sessions got tougher with me and Ash trying to beat each other.
Our pokemon grew stronger and we developed battle plans and tactics for our pokemon battles. I lean more on hitting fast and hard with overwhelming attacks while Ash prefer a drawing out a battle with minor attacks to wear down the other pokemon before delivering the knock out punch.
Misty joins in on the training and while she battled me or Ash. She prefer battling Giselle who happily didn't mind since she won a good amount of their battles but she also lost some which made her mad especially when Misty rubs it in her face.
Until I tell Misty to knock it off and remind her how many times she lost. Brock also training with us though not that much but he did give some good advice on pokemon that was helpful.
" hey guys we are here!" Brock say out loud I can Vermilion city at the end of the road. Ash cheer that we are finally here and declares that he will be victorious when he battles the gym leader.
I roll my eyes at this and walk to the pokemon center to check in for a room. The others come, me and Ash have our pokemon check for the gym battle.
While there Brock tries to hit on the Nurse Joy here but gets shot down and drag away by Misty. Also we see some of the victims of the gym leader, " wow he is brutal" Ash say when a pokemon badly injure is bought in by a Chansey and Nurse Joy tells us they the Vermilion city gym leader been going full out lately
"yeah I heard he is hardcore with his electric pokemon so we better watch out Ash" I tell my friend then leave the center after getting my pokemon back. I head to the gym right away and after asking a lady soon find it. I arrived at the building and take in how big it is then enter to find this gym leader.
Maybe I should had told my friends that I was to the gym immediately after I got my pokemon check. Well they will notice I am gone and likely think I went to the gym, I find the gym leader a tall spiky blond hair man talking with what I guess is a assistant. " a other one for the ER" the assistant say to me when I say what I am here for a gym battle.
" hey kid have we met before because I feel like we had" the gym leader Lt. Surge ask me and I think on it for a moment. " no I don't think we ever met before now but anyway lets battle and my name is German Lander" I said confidently and release Charmander on to the field.
Out of my five pokemon two are flying type and one water which leaves me with a disadvantage if I battle with them while Charmander is a fire type and Kakuna is a bug but won't be effective. I quickly made a mental list to get some more pokemon of different type or I going to have this same problem a lot.
Lt. Surge's eyes widen at me and ask if I know a Lindsey Lander. My mind then click and realize how he knows me at least in a indirect way. " she is my older sister and your that guy who cheated on her!" I said with anger in my voice.
" I didn't mean to kiss that other woman it was mistake!" Surge say to me with a hurt face but I didn't care " my sister was crying for two days" I said and he try to explain to me what happened but I wasn't in the mood for his excuses.
" lets battle and we talked afterwards" I say to him and he agrees to it. I ready myself for a likely tough and long battle with this gym leader.
Next chapter will be the battle and a other sister of my OC will show up plus a date scene with German and Giselle. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Until next time People !
