Lea approached the darkened windows of the large spiked Veilstone City Galactic Building as she silently began to watch two young Galactic grunts chatter away from inside the room.

"I am aware that Saturn is having a meeting with every Galactic member upstairs. It seems important. Shall we head up now?"

Lea noticed the other Galactic member sitting at his computer desk directly next to a small metal gate. He rushed through the belongings in his drawer and pulled out a familiar key.

A Galactic Key!

"Here it is. I knew I had put it in here somewhere. Come on, let's go."

Lea continued to watch as the Galactic man inserted the small key into the keyhole located on the left side of the metal gate. It sprung open immediately.

"Cassie, here I come!" Lea whispered to herself, staring as the two men ascend the staircase. After approaching the door and ensuring that the Galactic grunts had definitely disappeared from sight, she made her way up the staircase as well.

Strange electrical power machines seemed to appear in every room that Lea walked through, flashing and making clamorous noises as if they were drawing large amounts of power from somewhere. This didn't look good…

Suddenly, she noticed Looker in the distance hiding behind a large curtain. "Psst! Here. Over here!"

Lea carefully scanned her surroundings for any hidden Galactic members before walking across the room towards Looker. His brown eyes seemed very concerned.

"This gathering of the Team Galactic… What is the meaning of it?"

Looker opened the curtain slightly as both of them spied on the enormous crowd of both male and female Galactic members, some of them commanders, however most of them being Grunts. Lea immediately noticed the two Galactic women who had kidnapped Cassie last night.

"Looker that's them!" Lea said alarmingly as she pointed towards the two commander women amongst the crowd. The fearful memory from the other night flooded back into her memory once again. "The two Galactic's who kidnapped my best friend! The one with the pink hair and the one with the short red hair!"

A large screen suddenly appeared as a shady man wearing an absurd metallic silver and black outfit with spiky blue hair approached the podium. The crowd cheered almost immediately.

"Fellow members of Team Galactic! Hear me! My name as I appear to you today, is Saturn."

The crowd continued their cheer delightfully.

"As Cyrus had taught us from the very beginning, this World of ours is a crude one. It is incomplete. It has been, and always will be a struggle to survive in this World. We humans and Pokemon are likewise incomplete."

Quietly, the crowd began to mutter amongst themselves.

"I hate this incompleteness!" Saturn's voice began to become much louder. "The World should be complete! The World must change! We must do this to avenge Cyrus!"

The crowd yelled in agreement. Lea gulped. This wasn't sounding good at all. Why was Team Galactic so adamant about changing the World? Wasn't the World already in perfect balance?

"Then, which one of you will change it!?" He asked the crowd, each one of them replying with a "Me! I will change the World!" As if they were all sheep obeying the commandments of their shepherd.

As the crowd became silent, Saturn continued his speech.

"Together we pored over myths and exposed their secrets. Together along with Cyrus we captured the three Pokemon of the lake and the legendary Death Pokemon Giratina. Together we revealed their true identities!"

Legendary Death Pokemon? True identities?

A wicked smile crossed Saturn's face.

"And now, Team Galactic has obtained the energy to change the World!"

That would explain the strange electrical machines Lea had noticed in the rooms earlier. Oh no...

The crowd was beaming with excitement. Lea watched silently as she noticed the pink haired lady nodding towards the one with the short red hair. Who on Earth were these vile people?

"Understand it, my fellow members! This long-held dream that belonged to Cyrus is on the verge of becoming reality. All those headed to Mt. Coronet and those who remain here... Though our missions may differ, our hearts beat as one. Let there be glory for Team Galactic! In the name of Cyrus!"

As Saturn walked back away from the podium, the crowd began to roar even louder.

"Master Saturn is the greatest!" One Galactic Grunt on the side yelled. Suddenly, the lights began to dim and the large crowd of Galactic members exited the room.

"Whew..." Looker sighed as he watched Lea, worried about how she may have reacted to the meeting. "So I believe that was Saturn, who was second in charge previously until Cyrus passed. He must now be the boss of Team Galactic."

"I don't understand why they want to change the World?" Fear bubbled in Lea's throat. She could only pray that Cassie was safe from these wicked group of people.

"...To make a world for Team Galactic and none other? It is preposterous. So much so that it makes my head spin."

Lea had felt as though she had been confused literally since the day she first arrived in Sinnoh.

Looker continued. "Very well. To investigate such matters is the job of the International Police, of which I am a member in good stead, and it is my job therefore."

Immediately, Lea felt a sense of safety and security knowing that Looker had been a member of the International Police this entire time. Witnessing the meeting ensured that Team Galactic was definitely guilty and deserved to be punished.

"We shall part ways here Lea. Take extra care while searching for Cassie, my friend!"

The room was cold and dark. As Lea shuffled out from behind the curtain and approached the large meeting room she had instantly noticed the Team Galactic's infamous G symbol covering the metal walls. This place was so creepy...

A small warp appeared across the room. Could that possibly lead to Cassie?

As Lea's feet slightly touched the glowing yellow circle, she felt her entire body teleporting into a different room. Saturn approached her immediately once she came into view.

"...Lea isn't it? So, you've come. You heard my speech I take it."

Lea's blood pulsed with panic as the warp pad instantly disappeared. Oh no...

Saturn snickered. "A big lie of course. It is true insofar as my intention is to follow in the steps of Cyrus to create a new World, but that World isn't for the likes of Team Galactic. I seek an entirely new World solely for myself. Giratina's own Distortion World."

What on earth was the Distortion World? Was Giratina the legendary Pokemon that was spoken about briefly in the meeting?

Saturn noticed Lea's distressed facial expressions and smirked.

"I know why you're here. I can sense it in you. You don't remember, but it's not just about Cassie is it? It's about the Lake Pokemon as well and Giratina, correct? Too late because I already freed the Lake Pokemon ages ago, they were no longer any use to me. Giratina and Cassie? Well I no longer have any need for them. Cassie was simply a pawn used for my experiment with Giratina. I am finished with them both. If your heart aches to save them, go right ahead. I couldn't care less."

Saturn eyed Lea carefully as she hastily walked further into the room, lowering the gate to reveal Cassie chained tightly to a chair and a large electrical machine directly behind her. A tenebrous dragon Pokemon was sealed inside, suspended in an unknown green liquid. It appeared to be suffering, with eyes squeezed shut.

"L-LEA!" Cassie screamed, terror brimming within her eyes. "M-MAX IS IN SERIOUS DANGER!"

Lea turned to notice that Saturn had suddenly disappeared. Her confused gaze was broken when Cassie continued to shout across the room.

"L-LEA! LEA!"

Running, Lea immediately unchained Cassie's hands and they both began to smash through the powerful machine. Giratina collapsed almost lifeless as glass shattered everywhere and green liquid oozed onto the floor.

"Saturn drained him of all his legendary power. We need to get him to a Pokemon Centre right away!"

As Cassie and Lea rush to the Veilstone City Pokemon Centre, they are promptly greeted by Nurse Joy, who gives them an anxious look as she notices the two young girls both struggling to carry the enormous dragon Pokemon.

"Nurse Joy! M-Ma... I-I mean Giratina, is critically injured! Please we need your help!" Tears began to rapidly run down Cassie's soft cheek as she watched Nurse Joy immediately take the legendary Pokemon into a small room.

"I apologise girls, however you cannot enter beyond here. I will do whatever I can to help Giratina recover to full and fighting health."

Back to Cassie's point of view.

The three hours that Lea and I had sat patiently in the waiting room had felt like the longest three hours of my entire life.

I noticed that Lea was extremely anxious because she had absolutely no clue what on earth was happening. Team Galactic, Giratina... If only she could remember.

Suddenly, I stood up as Nurse Joy exited the room. Her face was drowned with sadness.

"Giratina... I-I am afraid"

"What!? Is he OK? He just has to be alive!" Fear immediately bubbled in my throat. He needed to stay alive. For me, for the safety of the Pokemon World. For us. There was no way I could do this alone...

"I-I deeply and sincerely apologise Cassie. We did everything we could do..."

No... No.

"Giratina is very weak and unable to recover. He won't make it."

Lea was immediately at my side as I collapsed to the floor, depression looming over me like a darkened cloud. Max... The thought of never seeing his face again, his smile... Those beautiful dark coffee brown coloured eyes of his, his warm embrace after saving my life... I would never see those again. He was gone forever.

I cried in defeat.
