Saga 2 JG and the Crystal Fragments! The Black Army Rises!
John P.O.V. (Review Chapter 7)
We finally got up to Daemon's castle and then Jamie and Zeq decided to switch partners. We finally decided on a plan but Daemon knew we were coming and he sent us into an area with a glowing blue tube and we were all put in tubes. Daemon forced Jamie to tell her past life before digimon which made her upset but Shoutmon cheered her up. Jamie and the others first found Jacob and Mitchell then they found us and Kate. The adults decided to look for the others and they told us to have fun defeating Daemon which we will. By the way I defeated Crusadermon which means the only one left is the leader. We met up with Daemon but things were going to a bad start until Jamie and Shoutmon along with Zeq and Agumon digi-Xros then they made with the help of Ballistamon, Dorulumon, Starmon and Pickmonz, and Sparrowmon made BioShoutmon X7 and with the addition of MagnaAngemon made BioShoutmon X7L who easily defeated Daemon then we all celebrated. 2 months later Zeq said that Dorlulumon said that king Shoutmon was kidnapped so it looks like we're going back so soon and I was getting used to not having to fight or run for my life.
**One month ago***
"At the end of the national duel monsters championship the winner is Jayden Guike of Blake Hill High School in Florida. He wins the 1 million dollar prize and I bet his family is happy and proud to see their son number 1 in the country," said the announcer as the kid named JG waved and smiled modestly.
***Somewhere else***
"JG would be great to bring in as a general for the upcoming war, we can't use Markel the enemy knows about him already," says someone in the castle.
"What makes him so great, Dorulumon," said the guy on the throne.
"He's a great strategist, he can play that game duel monsters really well, Jayden is also known by Jamie and her friends since she and him have all the same classes," said Dorulumon.
"Fine I see what you're up to, make sure somehow, someway that this uncolored Fusion Loader gets to Jayden," said the king.
"I'll do it Shoutmon for the sake of the digital world," said Dorulumon.
"Awesome, let's hope that he gets here in time with Jamie and some of the others, because for some reason time has been moving slower in the digital world compared to the human world. Before 1 year here was 2 months in the human world but now 1 year here is the same as 1 month there," said Shoutmon.
"Don't worry we'll have our answers soon," said Dorulumon then he left.
***That night***
I woke up in a dream state and everything was black and there was no ground until someone or something actually something's walked over to me. There was a weird red mini dragoon and a wolf with a drill for a tail that was orange and white but I didn't run away it's not like they'll hurt me in my dream unless I think about it right.
"Are you Jayden Guike," asked the Wolf.
"Yeah, but you can call me JG if you want to," I said to the wolf.
"Okay JG I have some questions for you and I want you to answer them truthfully," said the wolf.
"What's your name, I don't want to keep referring you to the Wolf in my mind," I said laughing a little. He laughed a little two, "The names Dorlulumon."
"Okay, Dorulumon lay on the questions," I said to him happily.
"Alright let me get straight to it then. Number 1 If you were a war general how would you lead your troops do you care about their safety? How do you treat the weak and strong" said Dorulumon. This was the stupidest question I ever heard, I'll use my duel monster strategies.
"I would lead my troops so that we would fight but not so much as to run into stupid easily seen traps. As for the weak and strong everybody has a purpose on my team. As I play duel monsters I use both the weak and strong, whoever wants to come on my team can come," I said answering the question truthfully.
"Good answer now for the next part of the test, I want you to fight Shoutmon right here," said Dorulumon.
"They call me the best fighter of the digital world so you better be ready kid," said Shoutmon.
"Kid, dude you haven't seen me fight. Weapon or no weapon?" I asked.
"Weapon," said Shoutmon.
"Good enough for me," I said. If this is a dream then hopefully I'll be able to bring out my trusty staff that I use to play around with when I'm at home with my younger brother and maybe I can bring it with a few upgrades. I put my hands out and out came a metal long staff like Kilik uses in Soul Caliber.
"Seems you actually do have a weapon. Let's see if you can use it," said Shoutmon rushing towards me with his microphone that I easily blocked away then I hit him when he turned around but it was in the face so he started bleeding a little.
"Good you can defend yourself as well as Jamie can," he muttered under his breath though I heard what he said really easily.
"Jamie, you mean Jamie Gredder!" I know her actually I saw something that wasn't really correct when I kind of one time ran up on her and Markel on time. She actually somehow she started phasing and turned into a Shoutmon then turned back, pretty weird huh.
"Yeah I mean her, anyway you can go we've seen enough here and you passed so here is this," said Shoutmon. He passed me a white device that turned light red instantly then he left. I stood in the dreamscape worried then I woke up the next day wondering if I'd ever see Dorlulumon and Shoutmon again.
Jamie P.O.V
***Present day***
Did Mr. Dast really just say that he wanted to go to the digital world with us, is he really a digi-destined. This surprised everyone than someone else noticed the giant huddle and his name was known as JG. JG was an awesome dude but sometimes he was a little noisy but he always wants to help others out we would go to extremes to make sure that an old lady got across the street. Literally he jumped and grabbed the old lady before she got ran over by a car and got his foot fractured in the process but that was last year and it looks like his foots healed. JG is the trumpet section leader for our marching band and he's also 1st Lieutenant Band Captain and he's a way better band captain than Alyssa Valentine. He's in our grade and if Markel wasn't the leader of our party in the digital world JG would've totally been the leader. The kid wore goggles before Markel wore goggles because he's also a swimmer too.
"Hey guys sorry if I'm being noisy or anything but what are you guys talking about, is this a leadership meeting," said JG. Well may be partially right because I'm drum line captain, George is pit captain, Markel is trombone section leader and co-1st Lieutenant Band Captain with JG, Michelle is flute section leader, Sarah is clarinet section leader, Justin is equipment manager, but other than that none of us are leadership and he should know that by now.
"No JG it's alright it's nothing," Mr. Dast said trying to cover up our talk about going to the digital world.
"Alright then if you guys need any help with this digital world business let me know alright," said JG cleverly.
"Alrig- wait a minute how do you know about the digital world," said everyone.
"Me I didn't know anything about Digital World or what it was till today, you guys just walked into it," said JG. Did I forget to mention that he's clever.
"I also learned that this thing I got is connected to it somehow," said JG lifting up a light red Fusion Loader but it was a different model than ours because his had a golden ring around the screen.
"When did you get that," said everyone except for him.
"Shhh! for whatever reason you're keeping this a secret so you should whisper about it alright," said JG. JG had a point, Dorulumon would like JG a lot from what Zeq has told me about him. He was always more than one step ahead, "the thing was just under my bed after some strange dream I had a month ago with orange wolf with a drill for a tail, and Shoutmon, he gave me this device and he's also is the king of the digital world. Pretty radical dream if you know what I'm sayin'." He must be talking about Dorulumon when he was talking about the wolf.
"Do you know what the wolf digimon is called?" said Markel.
"So there called digimon, that makes sense, anyway the wolf was named Dorlulumon and we were like partners. The dream was pretty out there but it was so life like. But the dream seems so real and I can't turn my back on it, I've gotta see if this is true or not," said JG. JG is perfect for this heck he would be the leader.
"Don't sell yourself short JG you would probably be leader," I said to him.
"Me a leader no I'm just a follower unless it comes to music," said JG, "I'm happy you think of me like that though Jamie."
"All of us can't go, you guys were all absent for 5 days if the same group isn't here just 2 months afterwards they'll totally know something is wrong," said Mr. Dast.
"The reason why you guys were gone the first 5 days ago was because of some other digital incident I presume. There's no other reason why all the people who've been to the digital world before were absent," said JG. He hit it on the nose again, he's so focused and all knowing it scares me a little he doesn't even look like he's being super serious like he's not even trying to dig deeper.
"Also, you were the kids 4 years ago that made it so that the other world, most likely the digital world, didn't appear in the sky anymore," said JG. He hit rock bottom. "Also this must've started on the second day of summer camp during the freak snowstorm correct. With the balance of the digital world corrupted, which is probably why you had to go there in the first place, it caused a freak snowstorm, I'm not sure how the storm was caused but it was there. Are all my facts straight," said JG. He hit magma core and we all just nodded, he understood the digital world better than we have and he's never even been in there. JG just smiled, he'll make one of the best detectives some day. Then everything just froze in place like time stopped itself which made everyone a little scarred.
"Does time always freeze like this when I don't know it?" said JG.
"Actually this the first time it's happened," said Zeq, "well to me anyways.
"You guys want to help Shoutmon," said the voice in the shining light that appeared in front of us.
"I do, I want to help the best way I can," said JG.
"It seems we have a new comer, what's your full name young man," said the voice.
"My name is Jayden Guike and I'm going to help," said JG smiling.
"Good, Shoutmon is in trouble, he's actually still in his own castle but he's been locked up in the dungeons and everybody thinks that he's been killed or worse. As of now the vice king Dorulumon is working his tail off trying to keep the digital world from worrying about Shoutmon. He's doing a pretty good job but with that short fuse he may lose it soon, it's been a year here since Shoutmon's been missing and me and Dorlulumon couldn't get to you until today. Jayden this mission is full of risks and maybe even death, are you still sure you want to help," said the voice.
"You can bet I still want to help," said JG.
"Good I can only take 5 of you so just pick whose coming," said the voice.
"I'll stay in the fusion loader," said Mr. Dast, "after all it shouldn't count for any person going." Then Mr. Dast moved into the fusion loader and it revealed that he was actually who Zeq called him Cutemon's dad.
"I'm going, I'm not giving this opportunity up," said JG.
"I think the Jamie, Zeq, and Markel should also go, their our strongest," said George.
"Agreed, but that takes leaves one spot," said Markel.
"I can't take it, my mom would be pissed if I left again without telling her," said Mary.
"I'll go!" said Cade.
"I'll stay in your fusion loader Zeq," said John Alec who then went in and was MagnaAngemon," said John Alec.
"Alright you guys good luck and make sure that you don't die okay," said the voice.
"We won't," said Markel then the portal opened and we went in quickly as the others just said good bye but then it hit me; what excuse would Kate, and Sarah make up for some of us just leaving out of nowhere.
***J.T. P.O.V***
I scanned the digital world and an error popped up saying: "Check hard drive! Data Limit Near!". I looked over at the computer screen and it said that there were 3 Terabytes out of 3.02 being used in the system meaning the Digital World is very close to crashing. This does make since, when I went back to the digital world about 2 weeks ago with Jenny, Jacob, and Mitchell to do mapping and other things for King Shoutmon, the ration between human minutes and digital minutes increased a lot since 4 years ago. From a scan two years ago every hour there was like 1 second here but now the digital world is now in a state of 1 hour there is 2 minutes here meaning that the digital world slowed down by 120 times( or if you like percentages 12000%) increase then what it was before. I was about to call Mark but then my cell on his new fancy iPhone and I picked up and answered.
"Yo Mark, glad you called we need to-," I started.
"Go back to the digital world because something is wrong," finished Mark.
"Exactly meet me in the Shoutosphere at the castle with V-mon, I bet the digital world has already sent Jamie or someone else to help solve this problem or maybe there is another problem we aren't aware of," I said to Mark.
"Alright I'll meet you kay, talk to you later and remember in front of the castle, I'll be their soon," said Mark then he hung up and left probably already on his way there. Alright then let's go. I opened up the program and held up my D-Tector to the computer and I was sucked inside ready to see what the digital world got itself into this time.
**J.G. P.O.V.***
This was my first time going in between the cyber and might I say it was pretty awesome and the fact that we were there in like less than a minute was amazing. We should use this instead of planes and maybe we'd get to places faster. When we landed in the digital world everything looked so amazing and lively and heck so very green. It looked so pretty and there were digimon so happy and they were everywhere and it didn't look like any of these creatures could possibly be evil, if there was some evil king ruling I'm sure everybody would be sad and there would be clouds out all the time and guards escorting digimon to their doom but I don't see that here so I guess Dorlulumon has been doing a good job as king so far while Shoutmon is trapped right below them.
"So where are we?" I asked.
"This is the green zone, the prettiest zone of them all by far. Also this is place is the capital of the digital world 'cause it's where the giant castle is to your left," said someone in the bushes.
"Awesome, thanks for clarifying me bushes," I said, "well I guess we should to the-. Wait who's in the bushes."
"I think I have a clue, Gumdramon," said Jamie then as if on cue the purple dragon came rushing outside of the bush falling on his face.
"I thought I wouldn't get to see you guys but, where is Mary?" he asked sadly like he already knew the answer.
"She couldn't come this time only the five of us could come here this time," said Markel.
"Oh, but you guys here to save the king right but do you know where he is?" asked Gumdramon.
"He's underground, actually under the castle, I know you want to come," said Cade.
"Yeah I do! You kid with the goggles," said Gumdramon then I pointed at myself for clarification, "yes you, I'll be your partner for now okay until Mary comes back alright because I'm sure there's going to be more to this than just rescuing the king."
"But isn't that all we came for?" I asked.
"Yeah but, it's not like the Ultimate Evil will just rest and let you take him unless it's some sort of plot to either take over the world, create a new one, or just obliterate everything," said Zeq.
"You guys got evil all figured out don't you?" I asked a little sarcastically, "anyway let's get going Shoutmon is underground in the castle somewhere and we need to find him."
"I'll show you guys the way," said Gumdramon.
"Sweet! we're going to save the world again unless someone says that we can't," said Cade.
"Yeah we're X-factor and we aren't going to give up Shoutmon without a fight!" said Markel.
"X-factor, why not United Soul?" I asked.
"United Soul actually doesn't sound that bad," commented Zeq.
"Also United Soul sounds like the United States, the U.S. where we live," said Cade.
"Yeah let's use that name I like it a lot better," said Jamie, "but what will the colors be?"
"Why not the colors of that fancy golden armor of yours, let's keep the colors and the symbols the same," said Cade.
"Smartest thing you've said all school year Cade," said Markel and Jamie.
"Not true said Cade," everybody laughed but then Jamie said, "where's Kumamon?"
"I don't know but he's usually here by now, I guess he had something else to do at the time," said Cade. We all just shrugged our heads and I had no idea who we has talking about then I snapped out of it when Gumdramon jumped on my shoulder and said, "Come on no time to waste we need to make haste and order to save the king."
"Yeah sorry for blanking out, let's go now," said J.G. We walked along the road until we found J.T. and Mark standing in front of the castle door impatiently and Mark tapping his foot and t looks like they were arguing about something so the rest of us decided to see what they were arguing about so we stayed behind the bushing and I guess learned about some new information that was really important.
"What is this about, shouldn't Shoutmon know who we are," said Mark madly.
"I mean really we save the guy dozens of times and doesn't even let us in the damn castle," said V-mon.
"Well hold up you two something is wrong here, Shoutmon would let us in if he was either very angry or on the brink of death from sickness meaning something is up Shoutmon probably isn't here," said J.T.
"Your right, shouldn't have exploded. But what's the deal about this Black Army, I think maybe they're the ones that Jamie and her friends were probably sent here for," said Mark.
"The Black Army, is an evil army and I only know about one of her commanders whose name is Lilthmon," said V-mon.
"They must be in there right now taking Shoutmon hostage, let's face it no one is probably at the door considering the fact we are in a giant kingdom knocking on the door and no one is answering. Let's break in!" said J.T.
"Good idea, I've been working on something, you have a credit card let me show you something," said Mark. J.T. handed Mark his American express gift card and Mark went to the far left side of the gate and picked the lock and then posed and said, "Told ya I'd figure a way in."
"You the man Mark," said V-mon and J.T. then J.T. continued and said, "now let's go in before guards spot us alright."
"Yeah let's go, " whispered Mark then we decided to go over there before they lock the door.
"What are you guys doing here," said Jamie.
"I was just about to ask you that little sis, by the way help me open this gate kay," said Mark.
"Sure anything for you bro," said Jamie who easily swung open the heavy metal gate and nearly broke causing me to nearly faint at how high her strength level was. No wander she broke 20 drumsticks during marching band season. I didn't ask because I would probably get some looks and also we have an important mission to do. We walked over and saw a guard guarding the door to what could possibly be the underground. The guard was kind of like a wolf with blue fur and could stand on two legs I had no idea what to say about that but it seemed that Markel knows exactly who that is.
"Gabumon!" exclaimed Markel who ran up to Gabumon with open arms but Gabumon didn't look so happy, then I realized something.
"Markel, it's a trap don't go near him!" I said. I saw Gabumon's eyes, they were lifeless and it was like he was totally being hypnotized but Markel was too far in and then Gabumon pulled out a knife and stabbed Markel in the chest and he stepped back holding his chest and nearly fell to the ground but he was still breathing. They have knives here? You know I never would've thought that they had knives in a place that had kingdoms or palaces and stuff like that.
"Gabumon what are you doing!" said an orange lizard who appeared out of nowhere behind Jamie then he sneered and continued, "we were supposed to kill Jamie not Markel you idiot." What the fuck! Did I just hear that someone wants Jamie dead, it's probably someone that Jamie has defeated before or someone that knows Jamie's remarkable talent to kill evil but aren't these guys their friends why would they kill their own partners. Then Gabumon's eyes turned back to life as the blue iris came back instead of the old black one from the being that was most likely controlling his mind.
"Markel," Gabumon said rushing to Markel sobbing on Markel's shoulder on his knees, "I'm so sorry I didn't know what came over me, please hold on I'm sorry."
"Gabumon I forgive you, it wasn't your fault, it's whoever is keeping Shoutmon prisoner. Just promise me one thing Gabumon, that you free Shoutmon and I promise you Gabumon this won't be the last time.." he started then he coughed up some blood and continued, "you'll hear from me I'll be back. JG come over here for a second and take these alright," Markel said handing me his goggles which I guess was a symbol of leadership, "take them and I want you to lead team United Soul to victory against this Black Army or whoever the hell is being evil alright."
"No don't leave Markel! I love you," said Jamie.
"I love you too Jamie," said Markel who then kissed Jamie then Markel fainted and he kind off just disappeared into thin air and digital bites then everybody started crying except for orange lizard whose eyes became life-like like when Gabumon's realized he killed his partner.
"Agumon are you alright," said Zeq.
"Yeah Zeq I'm fine but why is everybody so sad come on cheer up," said Agumon clearly not knowing the gravity of the situation.
"Markel is dead...Agumon," said Zeq.
"Oh..." said Agumon. Then I realized something, with him gone, I'm appointed as leader and I remember what Jamie said to me back at the band room "Don't sell yourself short JG you would probably be leader" and know it's time to see that I'm up for the challenge and it's time for a pep talk right now to my fellow troops and I know exactly what to say.
"Guys I know Markel died but it's time to act serious right now," I said.
"We are can't you see that my brother just died, I just want to be alone where we used to be and just lie here until he comes back," said John Alec.
"No there's no time for crying, Markel would not want everybody to just drop everything that we believe in just to mourn his death," I said to John Alec forcefully.
"How do you know?" said John Alec. I put on the goggles and said, "He's coming back, Markel made a promise that he's coming back and he's going to keep it. As I said before Markel wouldn't want us sulking when something happened, I'm sure if the same thing were to happen to Jamie we'd all be devastated but right now but Markel would fight back to the bitter end. I'm going to go over there and save Shoutmon even if you don't come at all I'm still going to complete this mission." Then Gumdramon came out of the Fusion Loader and smacked some of his own sense into the others," J.G. is right and I'm coming with him, I might not have known Markel for as long as you guys but I'm sure he would move on and he'll keep the promise he made I'm sure of it. Gabumon you gave your word to Markel you would save Shoutmon and mourning over where he used to be isn't going to fulfill your promise any faster."
"Gumdramon is right I made a promise and I intend to keep it," said Gabumon standing up and wiping the tears off his eyes.
"I'm not missing a fight for anything especially to save my best digimon friend and fulfill my boyfriends dying wish," said Jamie.
"We're with yah," said Mark and J.T. with Cade. Then finally John Alec said, "Fine he's coming back and I can't just wait for him."
"Alright then team listen up, it's high time we got to saving Shoutmon!" I said to everyone.
"We're right behind you J.G.," said someone behind me and it was Dorlulumon, "me and Ballistamon are here to help. I knew that you would make a great successor for Markel."
"Ngah! we'll show that Black Army that you don't mess with the king," said Ballistamon.
"Like hell we are! Let's show this Black Army what were made of!" I said raising my fist and everybody following then Jamie looked at me and smiled and then she and I realized that she was the first one that was right about me being the leader overall.
***Justin P.O.V.***
It was about three minutes after the others left and the same portal appeared and Markel went straight through it back and nearly hit the chairs in the back of the room and luckily no one else was in the room except for me and him. I walked over to Markel and asked what was going on.
"Dude I died in the digital world, is anything wrong?" he asked.
"Let me check the DNA scanner because everything else looks fine really," I said then I checked and a red flashing light appeared and said that something was wrong with his DNA. His digital human code was completely gone and that would mean if he returned to the digital world he would be a digimon instead of a human.
"Your human digital code is missing if you go back you'll be a digimon," I said breaking the news.
"It's a risk I'll have to take," said Markel.
"Okay we can go together from my phone," said Justin.
"I'll go to, Markel's going to need a new human partner and I've got a Fusion Loader right here so let's go via the internet," said Grant behind us.
"Great what are we waiting for let's go now," said Markel.
"Right, let's go!" said Grant, "I can't believe I'm going back after I was stuck in there for such a long time."
"Hey the only thing that worries me is what digimon I'm supposed to be," said Markel.
"We'll figure it out when we get there. Digi-port open!" I said and we all went in together into the void until we ended up in front of the castle I was just at then I looked around to see if I could find Markel then Grant came over.
"You're looking side to side but the thing is you should be looking down," said Grant. When I looked down I saw a Spadamon except wearing red armor, so clarifyfying it it's just a normal Spadamon in red. I took out the digi-dex(I called it that because it sounds like pokedex, and I made it) and there was no data at all meaning Markel was some all new sub-specious .
"Just one question, am I a girl?" asked Markel. Me and Grant answered right away, "No."
"Yes!" said Markel, "luck is on my side. Now let's go so we can save Shoutmon, there's still time for us to get a piece of the action." We ran into the castle hoping nothing was going wrong with Jamie and the others, especailly my brother. Not because I don't care about the others, it's just that he's my brother and I gotta care right.

Justin: Things start to get serious as soon as we enter the castle and all of our friends are hypnotized by a subordinate of the Black Army known as you guessed it Devimon. I've seen him so many times it's like seeing a ghost, get it because-
Grant: It's not funny if you have to explain it, Justin.
Justin: Fine whatever I just hope the others understand about how Markel's a digimon, even I don't understand it all the way. Anyway can Jamie and the others rescue Shoutmon from the bowels of the dungeons.
