Chapter 10

Linnea's P.O.V

We managed to get back to the Laverre Academy at around 2 o'clock in the morning. Thankfully, the teachers were asleep as we made our way back to our dorm. I vow never to do anything so dangerous ever again. We were lucky to make it back to the Academy and very lucky not get caught.

"I am never doing that again." I said once I got into bed.

"Me neither." Katherine said.

"Dash is so cute." Blossom said, blushing.

"Can we go to sleep please? I am very tired." Kali snapped at us.

"I think that's a very good idea." I said.

And with that, we drifted off to sleep.

Kali's P.O.V

I woke up at 10 o'clock to find my friends still asleep. I was quite annoyed at what went down after the dance. The outing at the pizza parlour was okay, but then Lisa wanted us to go to her house and we didn't end up leaving until 1:30am. The long walk through Route 14 didn't help matters either.

"Time to wake up!" I shouted.

Linnea, Blossom and Katherine jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed before they looked at me.

"You look annoyed, Kali." Blossom said to me.

"I want you girls to promise me that we will never have a repeat of last night." I said assertively.

"We were only having fun." Blossom said.

"Fun or not, what we did last night was dangerous and careless."

"But Kali.." Linnea started to say.

"No buts, no ifs and no ands!" I said, cutting Linnea off before I continued to lecture my friends. "I am not only thinking of you girls as a friend, but as the leader of the Furisode Girls. We have Pokémon to look after. Do you want them to get taken away from us? Do you want us to get expelled from the Academy?"

Blossom and Katherine put their heads down, while Linnea just stared at me. Our dorm was filled with silence.

"Well?" I asked them.

"No, we don't want to get expelled from the Academy." Katherine said.

"Neither do I." Blossom said.

"And I don't think we'd be too happy if our Pokémon got taken away by Officer Jenny either." Linnea said.

I looked at my friends and nodded my head.

"That's all I have to say." I replied.

"We're sorry." Blossom said, giving me an apologetic stare as she, Katherine and Linnea left the room.

I let out a sigh, part was with relief and part was with sadness. Sometimes being a leader is hard work.

Katherine's P.O.V

I felt really bad! I had let Kali down. If only I had said no to Lisa, then we would've made it back to the Academy on time. However, I didn't want to say no because I hadn't seen Lisa in such a long time that I didn't want to be mean and let her down.

"I am such a pea brain!" I said to Blossom as we entered the girls room.

"No, you're not!" Blossom said, putting her arm around me.

"Yes, I am. I got you all in trouble." I said, trying very hard to cry.

"I have to admit, what we did was dangerous, but we still had a good time." Blossom replied.

"I haven't seen Lisa for a year. It was good catching up with her."

"She seems nice." Blossom said, smiling.

I managed to smile back. "So what's the go with you and that guy?" I asked her.

"Who?"

"Dash."

"He's super cute. He was quite good on the dance floor last night." Blossom gushed.

"I wish I could find a cute guy like that." I said.

"He wants to see me again." Blossom said.

"And?" I asked her.

"And I told him that I'd let him know by this afternoon." she replied.

"Do what you think is best." I said.

"Thank you, Katherine."

"You're welcome."

Blossom and I then embraced.

Blossom's P.O.V

That afternoon, I was about to head back to my dorm when Madame Dupree walked over to me.

"Blossom, you have a visitor." she said.

"Who is it?" I asked her.

"Some boy named Dash."

Dash? That can't be right. I thought as I walked towards the front office. There he was, dressed in his usual skating attire, holding a bunch of pink flowers.

"Hey Blossom. I had to see you." Dash said, smiling.

"Oh, Dash. They're lovely." I said, taking the flowers from him.

"The minute I saw the colour, I thought of you." he said.

I blushed. Every time Dash smiled at me, I could see his dimples and that made him ten times cuter than normal.

"So, have you reached a decision?" Dash asked me.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Of course." I said to him.

"Well?"

"I think we should see each other again." I replied.

"That's awesome!" Dash said, giving me a hug.

I blushed even more when he hugged me. It was either the warmth of his embrace or being hugged by a super cute guy.

"When can I see you again?" he asked.

"It has to be either Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday." I said to him.

"I'll take you to the skate park over on Route 5 and introduce you to some of my skater friends."

"That's cool." I managed to reply.

"Is next Saturday okay?"

"Of course it is." I replied.

"Cool. I'll see you then." Dash said.

Dash gave me a hug before he turned around and left the building. I was still blushing as I returned to my dorm and put the flowers he gave me inside a vase. I couldn't wait to tell the girls my news.
