A/N: hello it is me again, I just wanted to thank all the people who read this story and Tell you it is my dear sister's birthday today! And yes she shares the same birthday as Luffy, isn't she lucky! Oh and this chapter is detected for her, because Luffy's birthday chapter is chapter 13, so sorry Luffy I wanted to post your birthday chapter in the same date as your actual birthday but I am a bad author so SORRY!
also Kidd will come back in chapter 15 so don't worry :), another thing is if you have enought time can you please check my stories second chance, broken mirrors and helping hand? but if you don't like them you don't have to, another thing is I posted a new story called evil, but don't worry since It is finished so it won't make me delay any update :)

waking up at the sound of the mewing cat, Luffy groaned as he opened the his door, to let her wonder into the empty living room, it was too early to go to school and they had their night meal already, so he went back to sleep, the sound of something crashing took all the sleep from his eyes and he hurried to the living room to find the cat looking innocently at him, next to Isses was a broken vase, Luffy hit his head on the wall
"clean the mess up" came Law's voice from behind him, he was holding a cup of coffee in one hand, while the other held a newspaper which he was reading, Luffy nodded and walked to the elder, taking the coffee from him, he drank it, Law looked like he wanted to protest but the look Luffy was giving him made him shy away back to his newspaper, raising the newspaper, he hid his face from the teen who smirked at him
it started four days ago when Isses began gone into heat, Luffy asked Law about her weird behavior and Law explained to him that she wanted to mate, Luffy stayed silent for a moment then he gave Law that look, Law looked at his feet when he felt the cat rub against it, she purred and rubbed her self-more, then she began to circle around his leg, Luffy laughed and carried her into his arms and she began to meow
"I will take her to the doctor today for her spaying surgery" Luffy gave him that look again and Law swallowed then turned to look at the window, he couldn't look at the other's face without blushing while he was giving him that look, Luffy laughed at how cute the doctor was and Law growled
getting out of the building happily Luffy saw Sabo on the road smoking a cigarette, turning he headed to his direction, but bumped with someone on the way, saying a hurried sorry he wanted to go but the man held his hands with a tight grip, turning around Luffy met with a ruby eyes
"You are the kid who lives with Trafalgar?" asked the red haired man and Luffy nodded, the man looked like he wanted to say something but then decided not to, letting the teen's t hands go he turned around, but Luffy called to him
"Wait who are you? What is your name? How do know Law?" the man stopped when he heard the word Law and turned around to give the kid a long look
"So he lets you call him Law? oh and I am an old acquaintance of his and my name is Eustass Kidd, did you have another question?" the name brought back a memory to Luffy, he heard Law call that name in his sleep once and he had a feeling that this man was the cause of Law's nightmares, without thinking he punched him hard
Sabo wasn't having a good day, after getting out of the mail's office because he went to return some letter that were sent to him by mistake, he found out that one of his car tires was stolen, he called the police but they didn't do anything, cursing his luck, he went to buy a new one
Sabo called Law while he walked down the street, but then he saw something that made him drop the phone, in front of him was Luffy fighting with some red haired bully, Sabo's instinct reacted fast and he went to help the smaller male, making the problem bigger than it should have been
Law was enjoying himself while drinking his new cup of coffee with Isses who was sleeping besides him on the table, when his phone rang; checking the id he frowned when he saw it was Smoker
"Hello there white chase-ya, what can I help you with this time?" he asked in a polite way that always made the older detective angry
"Trafalgar I called to ask you if you are the guardian of a Monkey D Luffy?" said the older male with his gruff voice, Law felt his heart stop in worry when he heard Luffy's name
"What happened to Luffy?" he asked hurriedly with a voice filled with horror and Smoker took his time to answer
"First time I hear you get this worked up over something after Eustass" said the other in a slow manner and Law knew he was probably shocked, the police continued
"Your kid Luffy got into a fight" Law could hear the mockery in the other's voice and he paid in no mind to it since what was important now is Luffy
"He got into a fight with your ex, Eustass" those words made the phone fall from his hand which woke the cat up from her sleep and she blinked at him
Entering the police station Law hurriedly went to Smoker's office and opened the door, the police looked from the file he was reading and the doctor went to his table
"Where is he?" he asked glaring at the inspector
"Who the kid or yo-"
"Luffy Damit! Where is he?!" he asked as his patience was running low
"I just signed his papers Law don't worry" said a voice and Law turned to see Sabo siting in the chair in front of Smoker's table, he looked serious and calculating when he looked at Law, the surgeon didn't even notice he was there when he entered and he cursed his lack of attention for it
"Ok when can I get him home?" he asked Smoker and watched Sabo stand and take off his jacket then cover him with it, he gave the blond a puzzling look, but the blond ignored him and took his shoes off, Sabo got on his knees and lifted Law's bare feet and put it in his own shoes, Law blushed but managed to get rid of the blush as fast as it came, he didn't notice that he got out of the apartment without putting his shoes on or without wearing anything over the thin shirt he was wearing, he then noticed that it was chilly and he wore the jacket properly, he felt ashamed of himself, Smoker got up from his desk and left while saying
"I will bring the kid here you wait" getting out of the office Smoker smiled, it was the first time he saw the surgeon bare any emotion other than boredom, he was glad that whoever this kid was entered into the surgeon's life
In the room Sabo and Law stayed in silent until Sabo couldn't take it anymore, he felt guilty for knowing stuff about Law from Smoker but felt angry at the same time about what he found out
"Why didn't you charge him with a rape case?" he asked angrily but his features softened when he saw the tired look on Law's face, he looked like he could fall at any moment and wondered if the doctor was taking good care of himself
"don't say anything of what you know to Luffy, please" Sabo's eyes widened, Law never begged but here and now he was, and the blond swallowed then nodded, he wanted to say something but didn't know what to say, he didn't know how to comfort anyone anymore
"Law!" Luffy entered the office laughing, he had a black eye and many bruises, Law went to check him and he blinked
"Why are you wearing Sabo's jacket?" he asked and Law felt puzzled while Sabo paled
"How did you know it is Sabo's?" he asked and Sabo made signings for Luffy to stop talking, but the teen didn't understand them and thought that the older was dancing a weird dance
"becauseee" Luffy said looking at Sabo weirdly, Law turned around and glared at the blond who then sat on the chair he was sitting on previously and waited for his doom to come
"Because?" said Law to make Luffy continue what he was saying
"Because I saw Sabo wearing it today when officer Smokey came to stop the fight, oh and" at this Luffy turned serious
"I kicked that Kidd's ass Law, so you don't have to worry anymore" Law didn't know if he felt more touched at Luffy's words or angrier at the Nanny who was trying to become one with the chair
"take him and go" said smoker who had an angry mark on his head from the nick name Luffy gave him, Law steeled for signing as he realized that he was surrounded by idiots
