Later that evening Hiei and Kara had sat at a long table with Korin, Karen, and the other leaders of the village.
Kara looked around and smiled as she saw everyone enjoying the food and drinks brought around the table by various women who had been preparing the feast inside the castle.
About an hour later Kara had felt Yakon's presence near Crystalis. She stood up and said, "everyone get in the castle now. It's very dangerous here now."
"Queen Kara?" Yoko asked walking up to her with her mother. "Is that scary monster near here?"
"Yes he is, Yoko. Now hurry along and get inside the castle with your mother and everyone else." Kara said looking at her.
"Alright," Yoko said running towards the castle.
Hiei and Mukuro had gone towards the edge of the island.
Kara felt tears fill her eyes. She had walked towards Hiei as he was about to jump from the island after Mukuro. She had ran towards him as he looked towards her.
Hiei held his arms out to Kara and smiled as she ran into his arms. "It's alright Kara. We'll defeat that bastard."
"Please be careful Hiei. I couldn't bear it if I had lost you." Kara whispered as tears fell from her eyes.
"We'll be just fine. You just worry about protecting yourself with everyone else." He whispered kissing her passionately. "Be ready for me when I return Kara. I'm going to make love to you when I return."
"Alright," she whispered smiling as she blushed deeply. She had watched Hiei leave then left to go into the castle after she had sealed up the area.
She had gone inside the castle and went towards a room that was filled with different items.
Kara had created a magical orb showing everyone what was going on in the battle below them. They had watched Yakon getting attacked by Hiei and Mukuro.
All of a sudden Yakon had appeared behind Hiei and had stabbed him in the heart from the back.
"Hiei!" I whispered backing away. I turned to go to him.
"Kara!" Yusuke yelled grabbing ahold of her shoulders.
"I'm going to him!" Kara said looking sternly at Yusuke.
Yusuke took his hand away in surprise at Kara's feirceness as well as her eyes becoming red.
"The shield will still be left up after I've left. So he won't get through." Kara looked at Ceres and said ,"let's go Ceres."
Ceres had stretched her wings and allowed Kara to jump onto her back. They had left the next moment and flew down towards Hiei and Mukuro.
Yakon looked up after he pulled the blade from Hiei's body.
"She's here now," he whispered sinisterly.
Mukuro heard what Yakon said and knew Kara had felt what was going on down here and was coming to help heal Hiei's injuries.
"Kara," Hiei whispered as he also heard Yakon's evil whisper.
The next moment Kara had landed next to Hiei and jumped off of Ceres.
Kara knelt down in front of Hiei.
"Hiei," Kara whispered as tears filled her eyes.
Yakon appeared behind and went to swing his sword towards her.
Karen and Korin watch the battle worriedly along with everyone else.
"Queen Kara," Yoko whispered worriedly.
They had watched the sword coming closer to connecting with Kara's back. When all of a sudden a bright white light had engulfed the crystal ball, making it harder for anyone to continue to watch the battle.
Kara had summoned her powers and all of a sudden her body began to emit a bright light.
The next moment, Hiei looked at Kara and noticed a large sheild in the shape of wings on her back.
"Kara?" Hiei asked seeing the wings on her back.
"I'm only making a small shield for protection," Kara said smiling at him softly. "I'm not here to fight him. I came to give you this," she whipered giving him a small cup filled with liquid in it.
"What's this?" Hiei asked taking the the cup.
"My tears have the power to heal those close to death. Remember what I first told you about them?"
"Your tears have the power to heal while protecting your loved ones. As well as gather strength to fight your enemies alone or give them to your loved ones to help them defeat your enemies."
Kara smiled as she placed her hand against his cheek, "I didn't come down here to fight that bastard. I came down here to help you and Lord Mukuro defeat him."
Hiei smiled as he pulled Kara towards him and claimed her lips in a passionate kiss. "Thank you Kara." Hiei whispered smiling seductively at her. "Go on back home and wait for me. After we kill this bastard. I'm coming back home to make love to you."
"I'll wait for your return then," Kara said smiling as she stood up with Hiei.
Hiei walked Kara back over towards Ceres and hopped up on her and placed Kara on her back. "We'll be home soon," he whispered kissing her passionately.
"I'll see you soon then." Kara whispered caressing his cheek gently.
The next moment Hiei jumped down as Kara flew back into the sky towards their home.
Kara released and reentered the sheild.
"Queen Kara!" Yoko ran towards her and hugged her tightly.
"I'm just fine Yoko. Soon the King and Lord Mukuro will be coming back here." Kara whispered smiling at her as she hugged her back.
"So they'll defeat that monster and come back here?"
"Yeah," Kara said smiling at her.
"What happened down there Kara?" Yusuke paused then said, "we were able to see up to the point where Yakon had been about to attack you. But we couldn't see anything after the light engulfed the sphere."
"I had used my powers to create a sheild and had given Hiei and Lord Mukuro my tears." Kara paused then said, "as soon as they had the tears. I had come back home knowing everything will be fine now." Kara had then looked at the crystal ball and watched the battle. She smiled seeing Hiei was easily doging every one of Yakon's attacks. And soon he had begun to attack him.
Everyone smiled seeing Yakon was defeated completely as he fell to the ground. He was no longer breathing by the time he had hit the ground.
Kara had released the sheild and smiled as she watched and waited for Hiei and Mukuro to return.
"Celest," Kara said looking at her dragon.
Celest nodded her head and had left the area.
A few moments later. She had returned with Hiei and Mukuro on her back.
Kara ran towards Hiei and wrapped her arms around him in joy as she whispered, "welcome home, Hiei."
"Thank you Kara," Hiei whispered smiling at her as he leaned forward and kissed Kara passionately.
"Welcome back, Lord Mukuro. I'm glad you both came back safely." Kara said smiling at Mukuro.
"Thanks to you sharing your powers with us, Queen Kara." Mukuro said smiling at her.
All of a sudden Hiei picked Kara up in his arms which made her gasp and everyone laugh.
"Lady Korin?" Hiei asked looking at her. "Where is my wife's room?"
Korin smiled seeing Kara blush a deep shade.
"Hiei," Kara whispered against his neck.
"Fallow me, Hiei-san." Korin said as she entered the castle.
Hiei fallowed Korin as he held Kara in his arms. He looked up and saw a large set of doors as Korin turned towards him.
"Here's the room we had prepared for the newest Queen. And now it belongs to you Kara." Korin said as she opened the doors and revealed what was behind the doors. She had then looked at Kara and said smiling, "or should I say it belongs to you Queen Kara and King Hiei."
Hiei smiled at Korin as he entered the large room. "Thank you, Lady Korin."
"You're welcome," Korin said smiling as she closed the door behind him.
Hiei placed Kara on the ground and smiled at her. "Are you ready my Queen?"
"Yes," Kara whispered huskily. She had then hugged him tightly. "I'm so glad you're safe from that battle."
"Only because you gave me power to heal up from that bastard's attack." Hiei whispered as he began to undress her.
"I love you Hiei. I will always love you." Kara whispered as she looked at him.
"I love you too, Kara. Now and forever." Hiei paused then said "I owe you an apology for not letting you explain your feelings that one time when we were in my hideout."
"I could never betray you. When I was captured by that bastard and he had ordered me to kill you. I had wished that you would end my pain by taking my life. I would have been happy to have died that way."
"I wouldn't have been happy about that. But now we don't have to worry about that now that that bastard is dead." Hiei whispered as he began to kiss her gently.
"Yes," Kara paused then said smiling. "And now our prince and princess will get to know their amazing and brave father."
"And how stubborn their mother is," Hiei said teasing her as he caressed her intimately.
Soon afterwards Hiei began to love Kara in a slow and almost torturous way.
