Hey there, folks! I know, I know, you're all thinking, "Two chapters in less than 24 hours, what's going on Chromon?!" I'm perfectly sane, I promise, I just had the itch to write a new chapter today. So much of an itch, in fact, I forgot to do the chores my mom asked me to do. So I blame you all! I hope you enjoy the fruits of my misfortune :p just kidding. We also just hit 1,000 views! I want to thank you all for your support and for the person who has been here from the beginning (you know who you are ;)) Thanks a lot! Well, here it is.

Syaoran spent the next few days in class and spent his free time reading the books he had gotten on the roof. He hadn't really spoke with Blake since then... He shook his head, it was probably for the best. He had to focus on getting Sakura's feathers back. He went back to reading a book on customs in Remnant. He noticed it was getting dark, and soon even the lights on the roof wouldn't be enough for him to read anymore. Suddenly, he heard the door open. He was in a corner where he couldn't see who it was. He tried listening. Was that Jaune and Pyrrha? He shrugged it off and went back to reading. Suddenly, he heard Jaune raise his voice.

"No, I don't!" It sounded serious. Syaoran moved a bit to where he could see them. He saw Jaune looking upset. Pyrrha's back was to Syaoran, so he couldn't see how she looked. He started to hear more. "I wasn't really accepted into Beacon..." He turned with his back to Pyrrha. Syaoran's eyes widened. Pyrrha shifted nervously.

"W-what do you mean?" She asked.

"I mean I didn't go to combat school, I didn't pass any tests, I didn't earn my spot at this academy!" He said turning back to face her. "I lied! I got my hands on some fact transcripts... And I lied..." He said, getting even quieter. Syaoran couldn't believe what he was hearing. Pyrrha seemed startled as well.

"What?... But, why?" She didn't seem to understand.

"Because this is what I've always wanted to be! My father, my grandfather, and his father before him were all warriors... They were all heroes... I wanted to be one, too. I was just never good enough." He turned away again.

"Then let me help you." Pyrrha said, putting a hand on his shoulder. Jaune jerked away and spun around quickly.

"I don't want help, I don't want to be the damsel in distress; I want to be the hero!" He seemed to be breaking down. Pyrrha tried to calm him down.

"Jaune! I..." She started before Jaune continued.

"I am tired of being the lovable idiot, stuck in the tree, while his friends fight for their lives. Don't you see?... If I can't do this on my own... What good am I?" He finished. Pyrrha reached for his hand, and he quickly moved away. "Please... Just leave me alone, okay?"

Pyrrha seemed heartbroken. "If that's what you think is best..." She mumbled as she turned to walk away. Syaoran hid himself back in his corner as she left. When she was gone, him and Jaune were going to have a serious talk. The door closed, and Syaoran went to move, but froze at what he saw. Cardin. It hadn't taken long for Syaoran to realize that Cardin was up to no good. He tried to avoid him if he could. Jaune hadn't seen him yet.

"Hehehe... Oh, Jaune..." The mace weilder chuckled. Jaune spun around, terror on his face.

"Cardin?!" He yelled.

"I couldn't help but overhear you two from my dorm room... So, you snuck into Beacon, huh? I gotta say, Jaune, I never expected you to be such a rebel." Cardin teased. Jaune raised his hands.

"Please, Cardin, please don't tell anyone!" He begged, Cardin smirked.

"Jaune, come on! I'd never rat out a friend like that!" He smiled. Jaune looked confused.

"A friend?..." He asked. Cardin put him in a rough headlock. It took everything in Syaoran to stay put. He knew if he got involved now, there was no way it would stay a secret.

"Of course! We're friends now, Jauney boy! And as far as I see it, if you're there for me when I need you, we'll be friends for a loooooong time." Cardin said. Jaune was chocking in his grip. Cardin smirked as he threw him to the ground. "That being said, I really don't have time to do the extra readings Dr. Oobleck assigned. Think you could... Take care of that for me?" Jaune stayed silent. "That's what I thought. Don't worry, Jaune, your secret is safe with me!" And with that, he slipped down to the balcony below. Syaoran waited until he heard the balcony door close, then walked over to Jaune.

"Jaune?" He said, reaching his hand down to help him up. Jaune looked up at him, the start of tears in his eyes.

"I guess you heard all that, too, huh?" Syaoran just nodded and Jaune took his hand and stood up. "Seems like I really am an idiot..."

Syaoran got right up in his face. "Yes, you are. What were you thinking? Why do you think Ozpin put you on a team? Because he knew none of you could become hunters on your own! You're an idiot to try to take it all on yourself and not get help from your teammates." Jaune seemed a bit taken aback, but he slowly nodded.

"You're right, that was pretty dumb. But now Cardin knows about my secret! If he tells Ozpin, I'll be kicked out for sure!" He fretted. Syaoran smiled.

"Jaune, I haven't known Professor Ozpin for long, but something tells me he probably already knows about it." He said. Jaune looked confused.

"Then why was I accepted?" He asked.

"Because he sees what you have and knew you would be a good asset to a team. Also, about Cardin, you can't let him bully you like that. You're going to have to stand up to him." He said. Jaune frowned.

"I don't know..." He mumbled.

"Jaune, I can't do it for you. At least think about it, and get your team's help." He said Jaune seemed to think for a moment.

"Thanks..." He said. He walked to the door and left. Syaoran looked to the moon, hoping it would all work out for his new friend.

For the next few days, Syaoran saw little of Jaune. What he did see was him doting on Cardin's every need. He hoped he would stand up to him soon. Syaoran was still thinking about this when they went on a field trip to Forever Fall. Teams RWBY, JNPR, CRDL, as well as Syaoran and Sakura, were supposed to collect sap from the trees for Professor Peach under the guidance of Professor Goodwitch. Syaoran saw Jaune go with Team CRDL while NPR and RWBY stayed with Sakura and himself to collect the sap. He filled a bottle and handed it back to Sakura, who in turn handed him an empty bottle. He was about to finish his twenty-eighth bottle when they heard a roar. Syaoran stood up quickly, looking toward the sound of the noise.

"Did you guys hear that?" Ruby asked. Some of Team CRDL came running through the forest.

"Ursa, Ursa!" The mohawked one yelled. He ran straight into Yang, who grabbed him by the shirt.

"Where?!" She asked. The boy pointed behind him.

"Back there! And it's got Cardin!" He yelled. Pyrrha dropped the sap she was holding.

"Jaune..." She whispered. Ruby took charge.

"Yang! You and Blake go get Professor Goodwitch!" She ordered. Pyrrha motioned to Ren and Nora.

"Go with them, and take Sakura with you, there could be more." Ruby looked at Pyrrha.

"That means you, me, Weiss, and Syaoran will go after Jaune. Syaoran, you... Wait where'd he go?" Unbeknownst to them, Syaoran was already well on his way.

Syaoran entered the clearing to see Cardin get smacked by the Ursa Major. He was about to step in, when suddenly, Jaune ran by. "I've got this!" He yelled, rushing the Grimm. Syaoran was about to protest when he saw another Ursa appear. Luckily, Syaoran had found a way to attach his sword's sheath to his new clothing with a clip he had found in a storeroom. This way, he didn't need Mokona to carry it around for him. He unsheathed it, and rushed his opponent.

He caught the first strike on his blade, spinning it around to counterattack. He cut straight down the Grimm's torso, killing it. Suddenly, three more appeared. Syaoran readied his blade and attacked. He poked at one while dodging the strikes of the others. He threw out his aura as a shield to protect against a swipe. He was running out of steam quickly, not knowing how to efficiently use his aura. One snuck around and swiped its claws across the right side of his face. Syaoran screamed in pain, and everything went dark...

Ruby, Weiss, and Pyrrha dashed out of the forest. They saw Cardin get battered by the Ursa, and the Jaune stepped in. He continually fought the bear. Ruby looked over and saw Syaoran fighting the three Ursa. Suddenly, she saw him fall backward, clutching his face as blood spurted out. "SYAORAN!" She screamed. She was about to race toward him, when suddenly, he stood back up. Ruby noticed that he was stiff, and seemed a bit robotic. Suddenly, he sliced open an Ursa, neatly dispatching it, he the cut the arm of of another before swiftly slicing its neck. The last bear swung at him, but Syaoran caught its paw with his hand, aura dripping from it. He then punched the bear in the face, and stabbed it in the gut. He stood still for a few more seconds, then collapsed forward. Ruby turned to help Jaune, but noticed Pyrrha move his shield from a distance away, while Jaune swiftly decapitated it. After getting a brief explanation from Pyrrha (something about poles and magnets), they rushed over to Syaoran. Soon, the others returned, Professor Goodwitch in tow.

"Syaoran!" Sakura cried. She, Blake and Ruby had closed in around him. His face and hair were plastered with blood, claw marks went from his forehead to his chin. Suddenly, the marks started to fade, and Syaoran groaned as he grabbed his head and sat up. "Syaoran!" She cried again, flinging herself into her arms. After a few seconds, she got up, and Professor Goodwitch began questioning him.

"What happened?" She asked. Syaoran told about running to help Jaune and fighting the first Grimm then the next three.

"I don't know how, but one got inside my guard and got me. I blacked out after that." This time, Weiss looked confused.

"But we saw you kill those other three Grimm as well!" She insisted. Syaoran frowned.

"I don't remember that..." He said. Jaune stepped forward.

"Dude, I was busy with my Ursa Major, but I saw you take all three down like kid's toys."

Professor Goodwitch looked him over. "We should get you checked out. Your cuts are gone, but we wouldn't want anything to be wrong with that eye." She said. Syaoran put his hand over his eye.

"Well, nothing can be wrong with it..." Everyone looked confused, except Sakura who seemed sad, "Because I'm already blind in that eye..." He spent the next few minutes explaining how he had been blind since he could remember in that eye. After a few more minutes, Glynda insisted he go to the infirmary. After they got back to the school, Syaoran was checked out and released soon after.

Syaoran sat on the roof again. After he had been checked out and assured Fai and Kurogane he was fine, he wanted some time to think. Why hadn't he remembered taking out those Grimm. As far as he knew, he had gone unconscious after being hit. He wondered over these things for a while. Soon, Blake came out on the roof.

"Just wanted to make sure you were okay." She said. She ran her hand over his eye. He flinched, still feeling a bit in pain. He had a few scars, but the doctors said they would fade quickly with the help of aura. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a tin. "Aura does wonders, but this salve should help with any extra pain left over." She said. He took the tin and rubbed some on his cheek, getting instant relief.

"Thanks. This stuff is great!" He smiled. She smiled back.

"It works pretty well." She said. She looked hard at him. "How'd the Ursa get you so good?" She asked. Syaoran told her about wearing out from using his aura too much. She nodded. "I'll ask Pyrrha for help. We'll help you get better." He nodded.

"Speaking of Pyrrha, how's Jaune?" He asked.

"He's only a little bruised, same with Cardin, but now Cardin isn't bugging him anymore. He actually came in to say thanks." She chuckled.

"That's good," Syaoran said. His eyes seemed to drift away...

Blake looked at him hard, then hugged him. A warm, friendly hug that caught Syaoran off guard. She backed up and looked at him, the faintest blush on her cheeks. "Don't push yourself too hard. We're all supposed to work together. Don't hurt yourself." She said. Syaoran looked at her, then nodded.

"Okay." He said. She smiled and turned to walk away.

"I'm going to get some sleep. You should, too." She said and then was gone. Syaoran turned to look at the moon, thinking of all the things he still had to learn in this world, and then left the roof.

"Sir, he moved a lot more today." A woman said. The man sat looking at a screen that showed Syaoran's battle from earlier in the day.

"Yes, the seal is getting closer to breaking. We must proceed with caution." He said. The lady bowed and left, leaving the man to his thoughts...

So, how many of you thought I was going to completely wreck everything? I mean, I changed a characters outfit, I messed with ships, all that was left to do was kill a main character off! Nah! I'm not that mean! Anyway, if you've read or watched Tsubasa Chronicles (which I would hope if you're reading this!) you know who that last snippet is about ;) anyway hope that was fun! Before I go, I want to give a little invitation to anyone who wants to accept. I'm a part of the RT/RWBY Anti Bully Group on Facebook. We're a great community that accepts anyone and their views. My friend Tyler is the main admin and a great guy. You can post about whatever's bothering you, or even about your favorite ship without worrying about being beat up about it! I post on there a lot! I hope you all will look into it! Well until next time,
