Chapter 9
.
Neah was bored.
He had finish all his homework, yes angels-in-training have homework, mind you, and all his studies. He tried spending time in the park but it did not help much. He was day dreaming under the tree when something slipped into his mind.
"How about visiting the earth?"
It sounded tempting. But angel-in-training are not suppose to visit the earth unless they have permission. Besides, he was sure that he would never get permission to do so with the reason "I want to visit the earth".
Sighing, he stared at the lake near the tree.
Just a peek won't hurt, right?
Just a peek?
After making sure that no one was around, he cast a small spell on the lake and wait for images to appear. His eyes sparkling in anticipation as he waited patiently.
And he saw it. He saw how a white-haired child made friend with raven-haired child. He saw how they spend their time together everyday and how much the raven-haired child wanted the white-haired child out from the cave. The white-haired child simply shake his head everytime the raven-haired child asked the same question. He could see that the white-haired child actually wanted to go out, but he was hesitating somehow.
He couldn't figure out why until he saw what happened when the white-haired child accused as the reason for a unknown disease that strike the village.
The raven-haired child could do nothing to stop the adults from burning his friend. They were crying. They were both crying for each other, but for different reason. The white-haired child thought that it was his fault that the raven-haired child need to suffer from the unknown disease ; the raven-haired child felt that it was his fault for telling his mother about the existence of the white-haired child.
They were both crying so hard for each other.
.
"Should I help you, Allen Walker?"
.
He had went down the earth secretly and held his hand out for the white-haired child's soul.
.
"Tell me your wish."
"Wish?"
.
The child only wished to live with the raven-haired child again. It was not a hard request, but it was not in his power to do so.
He did not know how he came up with that idea, but he changed the entry of the record of death of Allen Walker. He went back to heaven after sealing the child's memories of him, thinking that he had enough fun on earth.
Years past, but in heaven, only days past.
Neah was bored again.
"Maybe another peek?"
He did the same thing and stared at the lake, hoping to see how was the child doing.
The child was then teens. Somehow, he felt proud for them. They looked so happy together.
But then happy moments never last long.
The raven-haired teen died this time.
The white-haired teen went mad and wrote a story of parallel version of the truth.
And somehow, the raven-haired teen's soul was trapped in the story.
"Maybe I should do something for them?" He asked himself.
And he did, he let himself serve the raven-haired teen's soul in the story.
However...
.
This broken world, I shall end it in Kanda's world.
.
...
Had he made a mistake back then?
The more he think about it, the more he think that he did.
Perhaps he was the one that cause this chaotic situation to appear on earth. He was not suppose to interfere with humans, no matter how hard humans suffer in front of his eyes. He had done it for so long, so why can't he did the same for both of them back then?
Was it because he couldn't stand how humans were treating their own kind?
Or was it because he felt sad for the child?
Groaning, he placed both his hands on the top of his head,
"Damn it, Cross and Lulubell is so killing me if they found out."
Why had he done that?
What exacly made him do that?
Seriously, why in the world did he do that?!
Why, oh why did he interfere with the balance of life and hell when it's NOT even close to his job?!
"Oh my god, I'm going to die..." he muttered to himself softly.
"And what did you do this time?"
"What did I do? I freaking made a supposedly dead child alive and to make things worst, Cross and Lulubell is responsible for his case! Do you know how scary they are when they join forces-" He quickly cut himself as he stared at the questioner standing in front of him.
Shit.
"Oh? So you did what~?"
"... I am so facing Luciffer after this..." Oh great, just great.
"May you repeat what you just mumbled about, Neah D Campbell?"
"Actually, no. It's something personal." Come one, get away from him. Get away from him and everything's fine. No one is going to find out what he did, and he can just live happily ever after.
"Personal huh? What about the 'supposedly dead child' thing that you just mentioned?"
Double shit.
"Something caught your tongue?"
"I swear I wasn't on my right mind that time."
"Oh sure, and you were totally on the right mind when you slipped to the earth, twice."
Oh of course, all his moves were caught by his senior.
Just fantastic. Now he will die twice.
Truth to be told, it would be thrice since Cross, Lulubell and now, his senior is going to kill him.
What a beautiful day it is.
.
.
.
.
"Answer me, Allen Walker! Why are you still here when you should be dead 10 years ago?!"
Allen could not understand what was happening. Why was she getting mad all of the sudden and started accusing him dead since 10 years ago?
"You brat-" Lulubell yelled once more but she was cut off by a new intruder.
Two man appear from a distance behind Lulubell. One was looking nervous, while the other one looked like he was having fun.
"Lulubell, chill. A certain someone wants to confess something here." The nervous of the two gulped.
"Get lost."
"He did something, Lulubell."
"I don't care."
"He did something really bad. Like really, really bad."
"She said she don't care. Shall I sent the two of you back to heaven with my guns, dear angels?" Cross stated sacarstically.
"Angels-in-training actually, Cross." Neah informed.
"Does it look like I give a shit?"
"Yeah, they both don't care so lets just go back to heaven and...and... I don't know! Lets just leave and erm... Have a nice day!" Neah quickly waved good bye and pull his friend as hard as he could to make him leave as well.
"Wait!"
Neah stopped his tracks and curse mentally. Was it not bad enough that he had to die thrice in a day? Why must that child be here right now!?
On the other hand, Allen stared quietly at Neah, his mind starting to gain back his real past little by little.
.
"Everyone was nice out there. You don't have to be afraid."
"I don't think anyone would mind your deformities out there."
"Trust me, they'll love you."
.
"Kill him!"
"Burn him!"
.
I want to see him.
"Should I help you, Allen Walker?"
I want to see him.
"Tell me your wish."
Wish?
.
"You!" Allen shouted in surprise, his finger pointing at Neah.
"Me what...?" Neah tried to look as insignificant as possible by stepping backwards slowly.
"You are the one who helped me back then! You allow me to live with Kanda 10 more years!"
