I know I promised that i was back to write more but so much stuff happened that I couldn't. I am back and hopefully I'm here to stay

Fionna POV

I'm standing in the middle of the downtown park wearing a light blue dress looking around to find something; someone.

'Glob, this is my first real date with Brian and I cant even find him!'

"Hey, Fionna!"

I turn around and see Brian walking over. 'Oh he looks cuter than ever. I'm so lucky'

"You look nice Brian."

"Not as nice as you." As he says that, he holds my hands. I look up at him as he slowly leans forward.

"B-Brian? What are you doing?" I could feel my cheeks get redder as he got closer.

"What I've been wanting to do since I met you Fionna" I closed my eyes as he lips were not even an inch away.

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!

I open my eyes and look over at my alarm clock. 'Just a dream' I thought and sighed as i turn my alarm clock off and looks up. 'Wait...' I jump up and goes to my closet to pick out clothes. "It wasn't just a dream!"

"What isn't just a dream?" Cat asked from the hallway.

"Oh nothing!" I giggled a tiny bit and she just "uh hu"-ed me.

I quickly put on a white T-shirt with a blue jacket over it and some jeans and ran out fast so Cat would drive me and i wouldn't have to walk.

"So that boy from vacation is at our school now, isn't he." She looks at me as she stops at a stop light.

"Hmm? oh yeah." I'm so nervous to see Brian that its hard to talk with a straight face.

"So is that why you're so happy? Get to see you're long lost boyfriend?" I could feel myself blush a little.

"He's not my boyfriend! He is just my friend..."

"I don't think you would be that upset over loosing 'just a friend's' number'.'"

I said quiet till Cat dropped me in front of the school and left to go park. 'Well, here we go.' I walk school.

Marshal Lee POV

'Finally it's time to get ready! Glob, what sucks about being immortal is how much time you have to wait till morning.' I get into the shower then I dressed in what i usually wear and grab my umbrella as i head out the door.

I soon walk till i see Fionna walk inside and i run in to her.

"Hey Fi." I say all causal-like.

"Oh hey Marshy." We both smile as she says my new nickname. "How are you?" We start our way to our first hour.

"I'm good how are you? Did you sleep ok?"

"Oh yes, I slept wonderfully." I could tell she had a slight blush hidden in her cheeks. 'What was she dreaming exactly?'

As we get to our class, i can see Brian down the hallway and boy does he look pissed. i could only smirk at him. I have my favorite girl next to me and that pisses off fancy pants? What a bonus, huh? I wave goodbye to him as me and Fi go into our room and sit down. 'I think today is gonna be a great day for me.'

Fionna POV

Time seems to last forever until lunch comes. When I enter the cafeteria, I see Marshal alone at a table. I quickly go get my food for my lunch and sits next to him. It seems that all he has for lunch is an apple and some strawberries.

"I'm guessing you're a fruit man? Are you a vegetarian?" There's nothing wrong with being a vegetarian, I'm just wondering.

He chuckles a little and I have to admit, its kinda cute. "No, today just feels like a red kind of day to me."

I smile and begin eatting my food. All i have is just a sandwich, some grapes and water to drink. I take a sip of the water and then looks at Marshal before he speaks.

"Are you doing anything after school? I was wondering if you would wanna hang out."

"I'm sorry Marshy but I have plans."

"Homework doesn't count as plans." He smirks and I fold my arms.

"As a matter of fact, I'm hanging out with another friend after school and don't say its cat, 'cause it's not."

"It's not that guy Brian, is it?" I look at him, somewhat shocked.

"Um, yeah. How did you know?"

"It was just a guess." His happy expression seem to turn into a disappointed one. "Well I guess have fun with him but be carful." He gets up with his stuff and walks out of the cafeteria.

"Marshy..." I can't help but be sadden now. I finish my food and goes back to my class.

Marshal Lee POV

'What the heck. She is hanging out with him? Oh glob, is this a date?' I could feel myself becoming jealous. I can't really know what he's like. I scoff as I enter the class.

...

I could barely focus on anything but my Fi. I want to tell her to not go see him, to hang out with me instead. But I don't think she would say yes, even if I had an explanation as to why. I see Fionna head outside not even a minute after the school bell goes off, signaling that we all can leave. Seeing her running gives me an idea. 'How about i go along, in secret of course. It's not spying, it's making sure Fi stays safe. That's all it is.'

I run out with my umbrella and hides in the trees but makes sure I'm not too far so I can hear their conversations. I can see Fi sitting by the fountain as she looks around for the ass-hat. He soon comes walking up to her and hugs her. I could feel my anger rise some. She looks so happy in his arms. I sigh some but keeps my eye on them.

Fionna POV

"It's good to see you, Fionna." He smiles as kindly as he always has at me.

"You too. Why did you ask me to hang out with you all of a sudden? What about the "no talking" in public rule." I look up at him curious but scared that I just jinxed this.

"Well there is something i want to tell you." He sits down on the side of the fountain and i sit next to him. He sounds so serious, glob I hope its nothing bad.

"You're friends with that Marshal Lee guy, right?" He looks directly into my eyes.

"Yes, what about him."

"You sad you would always do what I say when its to keep you as safe as possible right?" Now I'm getting a little scared.

"Yes, but what does this have to do with..." He cuts me off before i can finish.

"You can't talk to Marshal Lee. You can't be around him and you can't be his friend." My eyes widen when he finishes.

'Why...'

Marshal Lee POV

"You're friends with that Marshal Lee guy, right?" Gum-butt looks up at my Fi.

'Great, what's this about me being in their conversation.'

"Yes, what about him." I smile down at her.

"You sad you would always do what I say when its to keep you as safe as possible right?"

"Yes, but what does this have to do with..." He cuts her off before she can even finish her sentence. pff rude.

"You can't talk to Marshal Lee. You can't be around him and you can't be his friend." I feel my body get colder than it already is.

'What..'
