I currently had my back pressed against the wall, the flow of time seemed to nonexistent as I started up at the flickering hallway light.
I didn't want to cause any more unnecessary tensions between anyone so I decided that I was going to stay quite for the rest of day. Hoping that things might go back to normal tomorrow... though I doubt it... Hyoga can honestly hold a grudge if he wanted to.
And the whole thing about Todoroki? Why did grandpa want me to stay far away from him?
'So many questions and so little answers'
The school bell then rang for afternoon lessons. I sighed as the muffled sounds echoed around the deserted hallway.
Picking my self up; I dusted of my blazer and hope that I was mentally prepared for this afternoon's lesson: Hero basic training.
I approached my classroom door and slid it open. The students already present turned their heads towards me when I entered.
"FUBUKI!"
I turned my head to a see a flying pink projectile approach me with the speed of a bullet train.
"Are you ok? Did something happen? Did you-"
"It's nothing Ashido, I'm okay. I just needed to clear my head out for a bit. It's just family problems"
I cut her. She looked at me before she grinned widely.
"Okay! But if you need anyone to talk to, just know that I'm here for ya!"
I thanked her and went to my seat. I saw Todoroki watch me as I made my way to my desk, but I ignored it.
The class was buzzing with excitement as of right now, because we had our first hero related class. I fiddled with the hem of skirt for a while, but then a all to familiar voice of a certain pro hero cut through the air.
"I. AM. HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!"
It was All Might! I smiled to myself as I watched his flamboyant entrance into our home room. It may sound stereotypical, but he was one of my all time favourite heros! When he did his job, he actually ligitly fights for the greater good and not for his personal gain... unlike a few controversial pro-heros I could name.
My class erupted into cheers as they watched the No.1 hero make his way to the front. Many of is watched on in awe as we watched the man.
"Welcome to the most important class at UA high! Think about it as heroics 101! Here you will learn the basics of being a pro, and what it means to fight for the name of good!"
The man began flexing his muscles as he over-dramatised his speech.
"Let's get into it! Today's lessom will pull no punches!"
All might then reached for something behind his cape and then he swiftly whipped out a cards which had the word 'battle' in big block, red letters.
'Huh, combat training eh?'
I was feeling slightly confident with this task, as I did have a intermediate skill set in hand-to-hand combat thanks to my...brother.
"But, one of keys of being a hero is looking good!"
All might carried on as be pointed to a wall which suddenly made a whirling noise and numbered cases popped out of it.
"These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and the requests you made before school started!"
The class erupted into more excited cheers as the looked at the display cases that had deployed at the front of the classroom. I remembered mine being quite form-fitting so I was rather nervous about putting it on for the first time.
"Now, get yourself suited up and meet me at training ground beta!"
"Yes sir!"
-Line break-
Soon after we had been dismissed by the Number 1 pro hero, we had all gone to our gender separated locker rooms and had gotten changed.
I had changed the quickest out of all of them, so I left before them and made my way down the corridor which lead to the destination where All Might had told us to go. Because my costume was designed to insulate my body, I was currently melting from the warm spring weather.
Due to my body incapability to actually withstand the low temperatures my winds bring for a long time, I had requested my outfit to be made from materials that kept me warm, and I was now mentally face palming for not thinking about the warmer months.
I picked at the long blue sleeves of my costumes. The winter boots didn't help me that my either as it just made me sweat even more.
The whole costume was designed to be form fitting so I can utilise my blizzards, and increase their wind speeds without having to worry about my costume being caught my anything.
I stood out in the sun with an absolute look of misery plastered across my shiny face. The most of the class had already arrived so I went and joined them. Kaminari then approached me and swung his arm around me which added more weight to my over-heated body.
"Wow, you look miserable" He laughed as he looked at my face.
"Yeh, my costume does it's job way to well"
I complained as I wiped my forehead again for the third time in ten minutes.
"I can tell" He said pointedly as he pointed out my sweaty forhead.
All Might then gathered our attentions and began to explain what we were today. According to the muscular pro, we were going to be conducting in some indoor battles today because he wanted to give us some knowledge in base raids.
"For this exercise, you will be split into a team of good guys and bad guys and fight two on two indoor battles!"
I frowned as I thought about the uneven number in our class. I raised my hands and asked out clearly.
"Sir, we have 21 students in our class, so we can't really split equally into groups of 4..."
The pro hero then stopped in his tracks and paled. 'Oh my god... seriously?"
"Uh-huh-ha well, yes! Brilliant deduction Miss Fubuki! I believe that one group will have to be in a group of three then!"
I nodded and he carried on. He went on about how we should take this seriously as we were not against faux villans today, but against real people; our classmates.
People then stared asking questions, firing them rapidly at the unsuspecting pro hero who sweated nervous before exclaimed that his quirk wasn't super hearing.
All Might then explained that in order for a team to win, they would need to either protect their hidden missle if they were a villan, or successfully appended the weapon if you were a hero team. And if either team captures all members of the other team, then that's considered an automatic win as well.
It was quite simple, so this could be fun!
The pro hero then exclaimed that we would be drawing lots to decide our teams. We all started to reach for the box and I drew out a,
"Huh, its blank?"
I stated in confusion, the heat was not helping my capability to think.
"Ah yes Miss Fubuki! It seemed like you have to join another pair! Hmm you can choose!"
"Uhh Eeny, meeny, miny, moe... uhh them!"
I pointed at Tail boy and the invisible girl Hagakure.
I jogged up to them and turned told them I was joining their team.
They happily accepted me and we soon began to discuss our quirks and abilities and drawbacks to get an better idea of our limits.
All might then once again gathered us and he told us that he was going to be drawing randomly again to see which teams going against which.
The muscle man then stuck both his arms into two boxes that were labelled 'Villain' and 'Hero' respectively.
It turned out the first match up of the day was Team A and D; with Midoriya and Uraraka on the hero side going against Iida and Bakugou, who were the villans of the match.
All Might then told the rest of us to head up the monitor room and we complied. The 17 of use shuffled away from the chosen four and we made it to a concrete hub located near the corridor we just walked out of.
After 5 minutes, the pro hero announced the beginning of the battle and we all watched intently at the CCTV screens in front of us.
We watched as Uraraka and Midoriya walk stiffly up a concrete corridor. I slight movement caught my eyes before I watched in shock as Bakugou shot out of nowhere; aiming and explosion straight towards Midoriya.
Fortunately enough for the two on the hero side, Midoriya had managed to dodge the suuden attack and pulled the brunette to safety as well.
"That's kinda uncalled for" I heard someone whisper, only for a sharp shush to be their response.
Kirishima the expressed his view on the sneak attack so I casually replied that a real villan wouldn't go easy on you in a fight.
Our eyes were glued to the screen as we watched the blond charge Midoriya again, only for the green-haired boy to grapple Bukugou's wrist and throw him over his shoulder, slamming the blond into the ground.
Many people were surprised that the nervous and shy boy could pull of such a move. I was no exception.
I watched the silent video as the two engaged in a gripping fight. After a while, Midoriya ran from Bakugou, which made the blond yell out in anger before he ignited his palms with an anguished expression on his face.
"That guy has some serious anger issues, it's kinda scary"
The battle escalated from then on out, going as far as half the building being wrecked by the impacts of Bakugou's quirk. Many students began to express their concerns for Midoriya and they all began to ask All Might to put a stop to it.
The two now stood face to face against each other in a one on one fight. Both Bakugou and Midoriya charged each other.
A few students began to express their fear as they noticed both individual quirks had activated and were being aimed towards each other.
Midoriya then delivered a flying upper cut which somehow caused an high pressure blast to blow upwards, destroying the building in it wake.
The hero team ended up being victorious, but Midoriya now had two nasty looking broken arms.
The whole class watched in silence as Midoriya's lips moved. We couldn't hear anything that he was saying to the blond, but I guessed it was something that shocked Bakugou, as he stood there, mouth hung open in what seemed to be disbelief.
The green haired boy then suddenly began to waver as his eye-lids fluttered before he fell down to the ground unconscious.
All might then contacted someone with his ear piece, and soon enough Midoriya was being carried away by two robots, presumably to the nurses office.
The pro hero then went on ahead to gather the remaining three students that had taken part in the recent battle. We went over a few aspects of the battle and All Might has also stated that Iida was the only one that took it seriously. His point was backed up by the busty black-haired girl who's name I found was Yaoyorozu Momo.
Iida has an expression of overwhelming happiness on his face.
All might then proceed to draw again from the two labelled boxes.
"Team I as villains and Team B as heroes!"
Oh shit, we're up next.
I felt a pang of nervousness shoot through me, but I brushed it off.
I'll be fine... probably.
And that's a wrap! Honestly dunno if this is good or nah...
